[0019] With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 7 thereof, a new commercial dual surface mop bucket arrangement embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.

[0020] As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 7, the commercial dual surface mop bucket arrangement 10 generally comprises a bucket 12, a divider wall 14, a first wringer 16, and a second wringer 18. The bucket 12 is designed to hold cleaning liquid. The bucket 12 includes a bottom and wheels connected to the bottom to permit rolling movement of the bucket 12. The bucket 12 includes a first side wall 20 and a second side wall 22. The bucket 12 includes a first end wall 24 and a second end wall 26 positioned transverse to the first side wall 20 and the second side wall 22. The divider wall 14 is integrally formed with and positioned transverse to the first side wall 20 and the second side wall 22 and essentially parallel to the first end wall 24 and the second end wall 26. The divider wall 14 is designed and positioned to divide the bucket 12 into a first receptacle 28 and a second receptacle 30. The first wringer 16 is detachably mounted on the first end wall 24 above the first receptacle 28. The second wringer 18 is detachably mounted on the second end wall 26 above the second receptacle 30. The first wringer 16 is designed to wring out a first mop 60 used to clean surfaces of a first type of room having a first use. The second wringer 18 is designed to wring out a second mop 62 used to clean surfaces of a second type of room having a second use different from the first use to permit a user to clean two different types of rooms with two different supplies of cleaning liquid to minimize or prevent cross-contamination of germs and bacteria from a first type of room to a second type of room and vice versa and permit a user to use two different types of cleaning liquids.

[0021] In accordance with at least one possible embodiment, the commercial dual surface mop bucket arrangement 10 further includes a handle arrangement 32 connected to and projecting vertically from the divider wall 14 and designed to permit a user to manually move and steer the bucket 12.

[0022] In accordance with at least one possible embodiment as shown in FIG. 6, the handle arrangement 32 is essentially T-shaped and includes a pole 34 and a horizontal handle portion 36 mounted on top of the pole 34.

[0023] In accordance with at least one possible embodiment as shown in FIGS. 1 through 5, the handle arrangement 32 includes a flat panel 38 extending vertically from the divider wall 14 and a handle structure 40 formed on or in an upper portion of the flat panel 38, which the flat panel 38 permits a user to minimize inadvertent transfer of cleaning liquid from the first receptacle 28 to the second receptacle 30 upon a user performing a cleaning task.

[0024] In accordance with at least one possible embodiment, the bucket 12 includes lightweight plastic and minimal dimensions to reduce the overall weight of the bucket 12 and permit a user to lift and dump out the bucket 12.

[0025] In accordance with at least one possible embodiment, each of the first side wall 20 and the second side wall 22 is approximately 24 to 28 inches in width and approximately 14 to 18 inches in height. Each of the first end wall 24 and the second end wall 26 is approximately 16 to 20 inches in width and approximately 14 to 18 inches in height.

[0026] In accordance with at least one possible embodiment, the commercial dual surface mop bucket arrangement 10 further includes a first mop handle clip 42 and a second mop handle clip 44. The first mop handle clip 42 is designed and positioned to detachably hold a first mop 60 in place in the first receptacle 28 when not in use. The second mop handle clip 44 is designed and positioned to detachably hold a second mop 62 in place in the second receptacle 30 when not in use. The first mop handle clip 42 and the second mop handle clip 44 are mounted on one of: the divider wall 14, the handle arrangement 32, the first wringer 16 and the second wringer 18 respectively, the first side wall 20 and the second side wall 22 respectively, and the first end wall 24 and the second end wall 26 respectively.

[0027] In accordance with at least one possible embodiment as shown in FIG. 7, the divider wall 14 includes a snap fit projection 46 and the handle arrangement 32 includes a snap fit receptacle 48 to permit the handle arrangement 32 to be detachably connected to the divider wall 14. Alternatively, the handle arrangement 32 is formed integrally with the divider wall 14. In FIG. 7, the pole 34 is shown for purposes of example, but it should be understood that a similar snap-fit connection could be used in conjunction with the flat panel 38 as well.

[0028] In use, a user can clean two different types of rooms using the commercial dual surface mop bucket 12 arrangement 10. The user pours a first cleaning liquid into the first receptacle 28 and then pours a second cleaning liquid into the second receptacle 30. The user places a first mop 60 in the first cleaning liquid and places a second mop 62 in the second cleaning liquid. The user then cleans surfaces in a first type of room using the first mop 60 and the first cleaning liquid. The user can then wring out the first mop 60 as needed into the first receptacle 28 using the first wringer 16. The user then cleans surfaces in a second type of room different than the first type of room using the second mop 62 and the second cleaning liquid. Again, the user can wring out the second mop 62 into the second receptacle 30 using the second wringer 18, and thereby minimize or prevents cross-contamination of germs and bacteria from the first type of room to the second type of room and vice versa. After the cleaning task is done, the user removes the first wringer 16 and the second wringer 18 and then dumps out the bucket 12.

[0029] For example, the first type of room could be a kitchen or living space and the second type of room could be a bathroom or similar room having different germs or bacteria and different hygienic requirements than the first type of room. By using the commercial dual surface mop bucket 12 arrangement 10, the user can clean a kitchen or office or bedroom, for example, using the first mop 60 and the cleaning liquid in the first receptacle 28, and then clean a bathroom or similar room using the second mop 62 and the cleaning liquid in the second receptacle 30. Germs and bacteria therefore would not be transported from, for example, the kitchen to the bathroom, and vice versa, as different mops and different cleaning liquid would be used that would be kept separate from one another.

[0030] In accordance with at least one possible embodiment, the first cleaning liquid includes cleaning materials designed to clean the first type of room, and the second cleaning liquid includes different cleaning materials designed to clean the second type of room. This permits the user to clean the first type of room and the second type of room with different cleaning materials most suitable for the cleaning requirements of each room.

[0031] With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.

[0032] Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
