CLAIM OF PRIORITY

[0001] This application claims priority from Provisional Application Ser. No. 63 / 569,422 filed on Mar. 25, 2024, the entirety of which is hereby incorporated by reference.BACKGROUND OF THE DISCLOSURE

[0002] The present disclosure relates to the organization and display of jewelry. It finds particular application in disconnecting into multiple pieces for ease of access.

[0003] Jewelry is often kept in a jewelry box or displayed on a jewelry organizer. A traditional jewelry organizer allows a user to display many pieces of jewelry next to each other. Traditional jewelry organizers often have a base with a vertical post and a long horizontal post attached to the vertical post at the center.

[0004] These types of jewelry organizers allow the user to display their jewelry by placing the jewelry on either side of the horizontal post, starting by placing the first piece of jewelry towards the center and working towards the edge. However, when the user wants to wear a piece of jewelry that is displayed towards the center they are left with the issue of removing it when the rest of the jewelry organizer is filled with other jewelry. This may cause jewelry to become tangled during removal.

[0005] Additionally, as a user starts their jewelry collection, they may not have very many pieces of jewelry. So a user displaying their jewelry on a traditional jewelry organizer may feel that the organizer looks empty.

[0006] A convenient way to organize jewelry and allow a user to easily access all of their jewelry is desirable. This solution may also allow the user to change the size of the jewelry organizer based on the size of their jewelry collection.

[0008] The present disclosure sets forth a modular jewelry organizer that allows the user to adjust the capacity of the organizer. The user can also partially disassemble the jewelry organizer while it contains jewelry in order to easily access all pieces of jewelry.

The modular segments may be connected to each other to create longer segments. The connection may be facilitated by magnets. The connection of the base 200 and the fixed segment 300 ensures that the fixed segment 300 is fixed relative to the base 200. Multiple modular segments 400 can be seen as part of the modular jewelry organizer 100. In the shown embodiment a modular segment 400 can be seen connected to the fixed segment 300 on each side of the fixed segment 300. The modular segments are mounted in series along a longitudinal axis of the segment 300. Additional modular segments 400 can be seen connected to each other and in combination with the fixed segment 300 create a jewelry storage section 500.

For example if the user has configured the modular jewelry organizer 100 as shown in FIG. 1 with three modular segments 400 on either side of the fixed segment 300 and the user wishes to remove a piece of jewelry on the modular segment 400 connected adjacent to the right side of the fixed segment 300 they may choose to remove the two right most modular segments 400 from the modular jewelry organizer 100. The user then has easy access to the modular segment 400 that the piece of jewelry is on and may remove it by sliding it over the right side of that modular segment 400. In the same scenario the user may choose to remove all three of the modular segments 400 on the right side of the fixed segment 300. The user then still has access to the desired modular segment 400 and may remove the desired piece of jewelry by sliding it over the left side of that modular segment 400.

Claims

1. A jewelry organizer comprising:a base;a fixed segment; anda plurality of modular segments which are attached to said fixed segment to form said jewelry organizer.

2. The jewelry organizer of claim 1, wherein the fixed segment is fixed relative to the base.

3. The jewelry organizer of claim 2, wherein the plurality of modular segments may be removably connected to each other to create longer segments.

4. The jewelry organizer of claim 3, wherein said modular segments are removably connected to each other via a magnetic connection.

5. The jewelry organizer of claim 3, wherein the plurality of modular segments may be removably connected to the fixed segment.

6. The jewelry organizer of claim 5, wherein the modular segments are removably connected to said fixed segment via a magnetic connection.

7. The jewelry organizer of claim 5, wherein the connected plurality of modular segments and fixed segments define a jewelry storage section.

8. The jewelry organizer of claim 7, wherein a user may remove one or more of the modular segments while leaving one or more modular segments connected to the fixed segment.

9. The jewelry organizer of claim 7, wherein the modular segments comprise one or more retainment rings.

10. The jewelry organizer of claim 9, wherein the retainment rings prevent jewelry placed on one segment from sliding to another segment.

17. The modular segment of claim 16, wherein the receiving of a modular segment's post by another modular segment's receptacle creates a removable connection.

18. The modular segment of claim 17, wherein the removable connection is created by a magnetic connection between one modular segment's post and another modular segment's receptacle.
