Abstract
Description
Liquid crystal display device and vehicle-mounted monitoring device Technical Field
[0001] The present application relates to the field of display technology, and in particular to a liquid crystal display device and a vehicle-mounted monitoring device. Background Art
[0002] The Driver Monitor System (DMS) is mainly used for driver fatigue monitoring. With the gradual maturity of autonomous driving, vehicle networking and related technologies, it has gradually evolved and iterated with more functions. Among them, considering the protection of personal privacy, it is necessary to avoid direct collection of human images in the visible light range as much as possible and hide the sensors as much as possible.
[0003] Currently, a commonly used method is to use an active infrared sensor to collect infrared light information, thereby realizing functions such as driver status monitoring and meeting the needs of the driver status monitoring system. At the same time, drawing on the camera under panel (CUP) technology widely used in mobile phones, the infrared sensor is integrated into the cluster module, and the sensor is hidden through a better integrated black effect.
[0004] However, when infrared light passes through the cover plate and the display panel to reach the infrared sensor below the display panel, the intensity of the infrared light will be lost to a certain extent, which will have a certain impact on the imaging effect of the infrared sensor. In the prior art, the color resist layer, black matrix and spacer layer above the infrared sensor in the display panel are removed and replaced with a multi-layered color resist of different colors. Since the metal traces adopt a winding design when passing through the area where the infrared sensor is located, avoiding the area where the infrared sensor is located, the area where the winding is located needs to be shielded by the black matrix. However, this design will lead to a new problem, that is, the reflectivity of the area where the infrared sensor is located and the area where the winding is located in the display panel are significantly different, affecting the effect of the integrated black display panel. [0037] Implementation Methods of the Application
[0038] The following will be combined with the drawings in the embodiments of the present application to clearly and completely describe the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application. Obviously, the embodiments described are only part of the embodiments of the present application, not all of the embodiments. Based on the embodiments in the present application, all other embodiments obtained by those skilled in the art without making creative efforts are within the scope of protection of this application.
[0039] In the description of this application, it should be understood that the terms "first" and "second" are used for descriptive purposes only and should not be understood to indicate or imply relative importance or implicitly specify the number of the technical features indicated. Therefore, a feature defined as "first" or "second" may explicitly or implicitly include one or more of the described features. In the description of this application, "plurality" means two or more, unless otherwise specifically defined.
[0040] At present, the Driver Monitor System (DMS) is mainly used for driver fatigue monitoring. The commonly used method is to use active infrared sensors to collect infrared light information in the 940±10nm band, thereby realizing functions such as driver status monitoring and meeting the needs of the driver status monitoring system.
[0041] Please refer to FIG1 , which is a partial structural diagram of an exemplary display device.
[0042] In some exemplary technologies, an in-vehicle monitoring device includes a driver status monitoring system and a liquid crystal display device 100. The liquid crystal display device 100 includes a first substrate 10 and a second substrate 20 facing each other, a liquid crystal layer sandwiched between the first substrate 10 and the second substrate 20, and a backlight module (not shown) located on the side of the first substrate 10 facing away from the second substrate 20. The liquid crystal display device 100 includes an infrared-transmitting area 101, a display area 103, and a first sub-light-shielding area 102 located between the infrared-transmitting area 101 and the display area 103. The liquid crystal display device 100 also includes an infrared sensor (not shown) disposed on the side of the backlight module facing away from the first substrate 10. The backlight module includes a through hole corresponding to the infrared-transmitting area 101, and the infrared sensor corresponds to the through hole. Since the black matrix has a low transmittance to light in the infrared band of 940±10nm, the black matrix and the tiled red, green, and blue resists in the infrared transparent area 101 are removed, and an RGB stacked color resist consisting of red resist 2, green resist 3, and blue resist 4 is set in the infrared transparent area 101 on the side of the second substrate 20 close to the first substrate 10. The RGB stacked color resist has a high transmittance in the infrared band of 940±10nm and can also achieve the effect of hiding the infrared sensor. Since the metal traces in the infrared transparent area 101 on the side of the first substrate 10 close to the second substrate 20 need to be wired in the first sub-shading area 102 through a winding design, a black matrix is set in the first sub-shading area 102 on the side of the second substrate 20 close to the first substrate 10 to block the metal traces below.
[0043] As shown in Figure 2, a photograph of the LCD device 100 using the above-described design, showing the "black" effect when turned off, is shown. The inventors of this application have discovered that the main reason for the LCD device 100 not having a good "black" effect when turned off, and the first sub-light-shielding area 102 being brighter than the infrared-transmitting area 101, is the significant difference in reflectivity between the infrared-transmitting area 101 and the first sub-light-shielding area 102 in this design.
[0044] Referring to FIG. 3 and FIG. 4 , an embodiment of the present application provides a liquid crystal display device 100 .
[0045] The liquid crystal display device 100 includes an infrared light-transmitting area 101 and a light-shielding area SA located outside the infrared light-transmitting area 101. The infrared light-transmitting area 101 has a high transmittance (greater than 90%) in the infrared band of 940±10nm. The light-shielding area SA is used to shield metal traces and prevent backlight leakage. The liquid crystal display device 100 includes a first substrate 10 and a second substrate 20 arranged opposite to each other, a backlight module 60 arranged on the side of the first substrate 10 facing away from the second substrate 20, an infrared sensor 70 arranged on the side of the backlight module 60 facing away from the first substrate 10, an infrared light-transmitting layer 30 arranged between the second substrate 20 and the first substrate 10, and a first light-shielding layer 40 arranged between the second substrate 20 and the first substrate 10.
[0046] As shown in Figure 3, in some embodiments, the first substrate 10 may be configured as an array substrate, the second substrate 20 may be configured as a color filter substrate, and the infrared light-transmitting layer 30 and the first light-shielding layer 40 may be disposed on the second substrate 20, specifically on the side of the second substrate 20 facing the first substrate 10. In other embodiments, the liquid crystal display device may be a COA (Color Filter On Array) display panel, and the infrared light-transmitting layer 30 and the first light-shielding layer 40 may be disposed on the first substrate 10, specifically on the side of the first substrate 10 facing the second substrate 20.
[0047] The infrared sensor 70 is located in the infrared transparent area 101 and is used to collect infrared light information; the infrared transparent layer 30 is located in the infrared transparent area 101, and the infrared transparent layer 30 includes at least a first color block layer 31 and a second color block layer 32 stacked and having different colors. The infrared transparent layer 30 has both high transmittance and low reflectivity for light in the 940±10nm infrared band; the first light-shielding layer 40 is located in the light-shielding area SA and is used to shield the metal traces provided on the first substrate 10 below; wherein, the first light-shielding layer 40 includes a first color block light-shielding layer and a second color block light-shielding layer stacked and having different colors, thereby reducing the reflectivity difference between the light-shielding area SA and the infrared transparent area 101, thereby improving the integrated black effect of the liquid crystal display device 100.
[0048] The technical solution of this application is now described in conjunction with specific embodiments.
[0049] Please refer to FIG. 3 , which is a schematic diagram of a first structure of the liquid crystal display device 100 provided in this application.
[0050] The liquid crystal display device 100 provided in this embodiment includes a first substrate 10 and a second substrate 20 arranged opposite to each other, a liquid crystal layer (not shown in the figure) located between the first substrate 10 and the second substrate 20, and a backlight module 60 located on the side of the first substrate 10 facing away from the second substrate 20. The backlight module 60 includes but is not limited to a backlight source, a light guide plate, and an optical film. Metal devices such as an array-distributed pixel circuit and a variety of signal lines are provided on the side of the first substrate 10 close to the second substrate 20. The pixel circuit includes but is not limited to transistor devices such as a gate, an active layer, a source, and a drain. This embodiment will not go into detail about this, and reference can be made to the existing pixel circuit design.
[0051] The liquid crystal display device 100 further includes an infrared sensor 70 disposed on a side of the backlight module 60 facing away from the first substrate 10. The infrared sensor 70 is configured to collect infrared light information in the 940±10 nm band. The backlight module 60 has an opening corresponding to the infrared sensor 70, and the opening exposes the infrared sensor 70.
[0052] Referring to FIG4 , the liquid crystal display device 100 includes an infrared-transmitting area 101, a display area 103, and a light-shielding area SA. The light-shielding area SA includes a first sub-light-shielding area 102 located between the infrared-transmitting area 101 and the display area 103. The first sub-light-shielding area 102 is disposed around the infrared-transmitting area 101. The infrared-transmitting area 101 and the first sub-light-shielding area 102 do not display images, while the display area 103 is used to display images. The area of the display area 103 is significantly larger than that of the infrared-transmitting area 101 and the first sub-light-shielding area 102.
[0053] The shape of the infrared light-transmitting area 101 includes but is not limited to a rectangle, a square or a circle, and this embodiment is described using a circle as an example. The shape of the first sub-light-shielding area 102 can be annular.
[0054] The liquid crystal display device 100 further includes an infrared transmissive layer 30 and a first light-shielding layer 40 disposed on a side of the second substrate 20 adjacent to the first substrate 10. The infrared sensor 70 and the infrared transmissive layer 30 are located in the infrared transmissive region 101. The infrared transmissive layer 30 has a low transmittance for visible light and a high transmittance (greater than 90%) for infrared light.
[0055] The first substrate 10 and the second substrate 20 include a rigid substrate or a flexible substrate. The rigid substrate may be a transparent glass substrate, and the flexible substrate includes but is not limited to a transparent polyimide substrate.
[0056] As shown in FIG5 , a plurality of signal lines 130 are provided on a side of the first substrate 10 close to the second substrate 20 , including but not limited to gate lines, data lines, power lines, etc. The plurality of signal lines 130 are located outside the infrared transparent area 101 to prevent the signal lines 130 from affecting the infrared light information collected by the infrared sensor 70 .
[0057] The display area 103 surrounds the infrared-transparent area 101, which needs to be transparent. Therefore, the signal line 130 needs to be routed to avoid the infrared-transparent area 101. Therefore, a first sub-light-shielding area 102 is designed to house the metal winding segment 132 of the signal line 1301. A backlight module is located below the metal winding segment 132, so the first sub-light-shielding area 102 needs to effectively block light to prevent light leakage from the backlight module.
[0058] The metal winding segment 132 is disposed between the first substrate 10 and the first light shielding layer 40 . The orthographic projection of the metal winding segment 132 on the first substrate 10 is located within the orthographic projection of the first light shielding layer 40 on the first substrate 10 .
[0059] Specifically, the plurality of signal lines 130 include metal winding segments 132 and metal straight segments 131 electrically connected to both ends of the metal winding segments 132. The metal winding segments 132 are located in the first sub-light-shielding area 102. The shapes of the metal winding segments 132 include, but are not limited to, arcs and broken lines. The metal winding segments 132 are disposed around at least a portion of the infrared-transparent area 101. When the infrared-transparent area 101 is circular, the shape of the metal winding segments 132 is preferably an arc; when the infrared-transparent area 101 is polygonal, such as a square or rectangle, the shape of the metal winding segments 132 is preferably a broken line.
[0060] In this embodiment, the infrared transparent layer 30 includes a first color resist layer 31 and a second color resist layer 32 stacked and having different colors.
[0061] The material of the first color resist layer 31 includes, but is not limited to, one of a red color resist material, a green color resist material, and a blue color resist material, and the material of the second color resist layer 32 includes, but is not limited to, another of a red color resist material, a green color resist material, and a blue color resist material. It is understood that other color resist materials may be added or replaced with other color resist materials according to actual needs, for example, the other color resist material may be a yellow color resist material.
[0062] Specifically, the infrared transparent layer 30 includes a stacked blue color resist layer and a red color resist layer, or includes a stacked red color resist layer and a green color resist layer, or includes a stacked blue color resist layer and a green color resist layer.
[0063] The first light-blocking layer 40 includes a first color-blocking layer 41, a second color-blocking layer 42, and a third color-blocking layer 43 stacked and having different colors. The materials of the first color-blocking layer 41, the second color-blocking layer 42, and the third color-blocking layer 43 are the same as those of the first color-blocking layer 31 and the second color-blocking layer 32, and are disposed in the same layer. Specifically, the first color-blocking layer 41, the second color-blocking layer 42, and the third color-blocking layer 43 are respectively one of a red color-blocking layer, a green color-blocking layer, and a blue color-blocking layer. Compared to the first sub-light-blocking area using a black matrix for light shielding, this embodiment uses a stack of red, green, and blue color-blocking layers for light shielding. This not only reduces the reflectivity difference between the first sub-light-blocking area 102 and the infrared-transmitting area 101, but also achieves effective light shielding.
[0064] The stacking order of the first color-blocking light-shielding layer 41, the second color-blocking light-shielding layer 42, and the third color-blocking light-shielding layer 43 is not limited. In this embodiment, the stacking order of the red color-blocking layer, the green color-blocking layer, and the blue color-blocking layer is used as an example to illustrate the direction in which the second substrate 20 points to the first substrate 10.
[0065] The color resist stacking sequence of the first color resist layer 31 and the second color resist layer 32 can be the same as or different from the color resist stacking sequence of the first light shielding layer 40. Preferably, the same color resist stacking sequence is selected so that color resist layers of the same color in different regions can be formed through a single patterning process, saving manufacturing process steps.
[0066] The liquid crystal display device 100 further includes a filter layer 50 disposed on a side of the second substrate 20 closer to the first substrate 10. The filter layer 50 includes a plurality of color-resistance blocks 51 of different colors, including red, green, and blue color-resistance blocks. A black matrix is disposed between adjacent color-resistance blocks 51 to prevent light leakage between adjacent color-resistance blocks 51.
[0067] Referring to Figures 3 and 4 , the liquid crystal display device 100 further includes a second sub-light-shielding area 104 surrounding the display area 103. This second sub-light-shielding area 104 serves as the border area of the liquid crystal display device 100. Fan-out wiring, gate driver circuits, and source driver circuits are arranged on the side of the first substrate 10 near the second substrate 20 in this second sub-light-shielding area 104. A second light-shielding layer, which may be a black matrix, is provided on the side of the second substrate 20 near the first substrate 10.
[0068] The black matrix of this embodiment adopts a black matrix material with low reflectivity. The reflectivity of the black matrix is less than 6.5%, specifically 4.5% to 5%. Compared with the reflectivity of a conventional black matrix (6.5%), the reflectivity of the black matrix of this embodiment can be reduced by 0.15% to 0.2%. Specifically, the material of the black matrix includes black porous titanium dioxide particles. The black porous titanium dioxide particles have a high porosity and have a good diffuse reflection effect on light. By doping the black porous titanium dioxide particles in the black matrix, the reflectivity of the black matrix can be reduced. The material of the black matrix may also include at least one of a black pigment and a black dye, such as a black acrylic resin.
[0069] Please refer to Figure 3. Since the film thicknesses of the infrared transparent layer 30, the first light-shielding layer 40, and the second light-shielding layer arranged on the second substrate 20 may be different, a planarization layer 110 is arranged on the surface of the infrared transparent layer 30, the first light-shielding layer 40, and the second light-shielding layer facing away from the second substrate 20 to provide a flat surface for the subsequently formed film layers (such as the common electrode).
[0070] Please refer to FIG. 6 , which is a schematic diagram of a second structure of the liquid crystal display device provided in this application.
[0071] The structure of the liquid crystal display device 100 in this embodiment is similar to the first structure of the liquid crystal display device 100 provided in the above embodiment. Please refer to the description of the first structure of the liquid crystal display device 100 in the above embodiment for details, and will not be repeated here. One difference between the two is that in this embodiment, the infrared transparent layer 30 includes a first color resist layer 31, a second color resist layer 32, and a third color resist layer 33.
[0072] Furthermore, the color stacking order of the color blocks in the first color block light-shielding layer 41, the second color block light-shielding layer 42, and the third color block light-shielding layer 43 is the same as the color stacking order of the color blocks in the first color block layer 31, the second color block layer 32, and the third color block layer 33. In this way, a pattern of color blocks of the same color can be formed through a single exposure process. In this embodiment, the stacking order of the red color block, the green color block, and the blue color block is used as an example, along the direction from the second substrate 20 to the first substrate 10.
[0073] The technical solution of this embodiment is described by taking as an example that the thickness of the red color resist in the display area 103 , the infrared transparent area 101 and the first sub-light-shielding area 102 is 2.24 microns, the thickness of the green color resist is 2.18 microns, and the thickness of the blue color resist is 2.46 microns.
[0074] As shown in Table 1 below, this embodiment tests the reflectivity of three regions of a liquid crystal display device 100 before and after improvement. The liquid crystal display device 100 of the exemplary technology adopts the structure of the display device shown in FIG1 . The light source used in the test is a D65 standard light source, where Y represents reflectivity and L represents reflected brightness.
[0075] Table 1
[0076] As can be seen from Table 1, the first light-shielding layer 40 of the first sub-light-shielding region 102 of this embodiment utilizes a stacked red, green, and blue color-shielding layer. Compared to using a black matrix for light shielding, its reflectivity is reduced from 5.8% to 4.9%-5.1%, and its reflectivity is closer to that of the infrared-transmitting region 101, effectively enhancing the integrated black effect of the liquid crystal display device. Furthermore, the black matrix of the display region 103 of this embodiment utilizes a low-reflectivity material. Compared to conventional black matrices, the reflectivity of the display region 103 of this embodiment is also reduced, and its reflectivity is closer to that of the infrared-transmitting region 101, further enhancing the integrated black effect of the liquid crystal display device.
[0077] This embodiment also analyzes the transmittance of the light shielding layer of the liquid crystal display device before and after the improvement (band
[0078] 380~780nm light) was tested. The transmittance of the light shielding layer of the liquid crystal display device before improvement was 1×10 -5.4 The transmittance of the light shielding layer of the improved liquid crystal display device is 8.07×10 -3 (The transmittance of the red, green, and blue blocking layers is multiplied together to obtain a red block transmittance of 0.171, a green block transmittance of 0.560, and a blue block transmittance of 0.084.) Although the transmittance of the improved light-shielding layer of the liquid crystal device has increased, the impact on the light-shielding performance is negligible. Therefore, the liquid crystal display device provided in this embodiment has a good integrated black effect, and its first sub-light-shielding area 102 also has a good light-shielding effect.
[0079] Another difference between the structure of the liquid crystal display device of this embodiment and the first structure of the liquid crystal display device of the aforementioned embodiment is that the second light-blocking layer 120 of the second sub-light-blocking region 104 of this embodiment includes a stacked, differently colored fourth color-blocking layer 121, a fifth color-blocking layer 122, and a sixth color-blocking layer 123. The fourth color-blocking layer 121, the fifth color-blocking layer 122, and the sixth color-blocking layer 123 are made of the same material as the color-blocking blocks 51 of the display region 103. Specifically, the fourth color-blocking layer 121 is one of a red color-blocking layer, a green color-blocking layer, and a blue color-blocking layer, and the fifth color-blocking layer 122 and the sixth color-blocking layer 123 are the other two of the red color-blocking layer, the green color-blocking layer, and the blue color-blocking layer.
[0080] Please refer to Figure 7, which shows a test image of the integrated black effect of the liquid crystal display device in the off state when the second light-shielding layer of the second sub-light-shielding area 104 employs a black matrix structure in the exemplary technology. As shown in Figure 7, a horizontal bright line L appears at the illuminated position, resulting in high reflectivity. This horizontal bright line is located in the second light-shielding layer of the second sub-light-shielding area 104. This is because the second light-shielding layer uses a black matrix to block light, resulting in a poor integrated black effect between the second sub-light-shielding area 104 and the display area 103.
[0081] In this embodiment, the second light-shielding layer 120 is configured as a stacked red color-resist layer, a green color-resist layer, and a blue color-resist layer. This can reduce the reflectivity difference between the second sub-light-shielding area 104 and the display area 103, further improving the integrated black effect of the liquid crystal display device.
[0082] In this embodiment, a cover plate 80 is further provided on the side of the second substrate 20 facing away from the first substrate 10. The cover plate 80 is fully bonded to the second substrate 20 via an adhesive layer 90. The adhesive layer 90 can be made of smoky OCA adhesive or smoky OCR adhesive to increase the reflectivity difference between the display area 103 and the second sub-light-shielding area 104.
[0083] The cover plate 80 includes an ink area 105. The second sub-light-shielding area 104 is located between the display area 103 and the ink area 105. An ink layer is provided on the side of the cover plate 80 adjacent to the second substrate 20. The ink layer is located within the ink area 105. By adjusting the ink color and transmittance of the ink layer, the reflective color difference ΔE between the ink area 105 and the display area 103 can be adjusted to ≤ 1, thereby enhancing the integrated black effect of the liquid crystal display device.
[0084] Please refer to FIG8 , which is a schematic diagram of a third structure of the liquid crystal display device provided in this application.
[0085] The structure of the liquid crystal display device of this embodiment is similar to the second structure of the liquid crystal display device provided in the above embodiment. Please refer to the description of the liquid crystal display device in the above embodiment for details, and no further details will be given here. The difference between the two is that in this embodiment, a black matrix block is provided in the first light-shielding layer 40 and / or the second light-shielding layer 120.
[0086] As shown in FIG8 , in this embodiment, the first light-shielding layer 40 further includes a first black matrix block 44. The stacked first color-blocking light-shielding layer 41, the second color-blocking light-shielding layer 42, and the third color-blocking light-shielding layer 43 constitute a first color-blocking stack. The first color-blocking stack is arranged in an array, and the first black matrix blocks 44 are disposed between adjacent first color-blocking stacks. By disposing the first black matrix blocks 44 between the first color-blocking stacks, the light-shielding performance of the first sub-light-shielding region 102 can be improved while reducing the reflectivity difference between the first sub-light-shielding region 102 and the infrared-transmitting region 101.
[0087] Since the winding metal density near the display area in the first sub-shading area 102 is greater than the winding metal density near the infrared transparent area 101, the shading requirement of the area with high winding metal density will be lower. Therefore, in other embodiments, the overall film thickness of the first shading layer 40 near the display area 103 in the first sub-shading area 102 may be less than the overall film thickness of the first shading layer 40 near the infrared transparent area 101 in the first shading area 102.
[0088] The liquid crystal display device includes a display area 103 located between the infrared transparent area 101 and the first sub-light-shielding area 102. The liquid crystal display device includes a filter layer 50 arranged on the side of the second substrate 20 close to the first substrate 10. The filter layer 50 is located in the display area 103. The filter layer 50 includes a plurality of color resist blocks 51 of different colors, and a second black matrix block 52 located between adjacent color resist blocks 51.
[0089] In this embodiment, in the second sub-light-blocking area 104, the stacked fourth color-blocking light-blocking layer 121, the fifth color-blocking light-blocking layer 122 and the sixth color-blocking light-blocking layer 123 form a second color-blocking stack, and the second color-blocking stack is distributed in an array. The second light-blocking layer 120 also includes a third black matrix block 124 arranged between adjacent second color-blocking stacks, which can improve the light-blocking performance of the second sub-light-blocking area 104 while reducing the reflectivity difference between the second sub-light-blocking area 104 and the display area 103.
[0090] Please refer to FIG. 9 , which is a schematic diagram of a fourth structure of the liquid crystal display device provided in this application.
[0091] Unlike the third structure of the liquid crystal display device shown in FIG8 , the first light-shielding layer 40 includes a first color-blocking layer 41 and a second color-blocking layer 42 stacked and having different colors. The first color-blocking layer 41 and the second color-blocking layer 42 constitute a first color-blocking stack. The first light-shielding layer 40 also includes a first black matrix block 44 disposed on the side of the first color-blocking stack close to the first substrate 10 and overlapping with the first color-blocking stack. The first color-blocking stack can reduce the reflectivity of the first sub-light-shielding area 102. However, the stacked structure of two color-block layers will increase the transmittance of the first sub-light-shielding area 102. Therefore, the first black matrix block 44 can be disposed below the first color-blocking stack to reduce the transmittance of the sub-light-shielding area.
[0092] Optionally, the material of the first color-blocking light-shielding layer 41 is the same as that of the first color-blocking layer 31, the material of the second color-blocking light-shielding layer 42 is the same as that of the second color-blocking layer 32, the first color-blocking light-shielding layer 41 and the second color-blocking light-shielding layer 42 are both selected from one of a red color-blocking layer, a green color-blocking layer and a blue color-blocking layer, and the color-blocking colors of the first color-blocking light-shielding layer 41 and the second color-blocking light-shielding layer 42 are different.
[0093] The transmittance of a stacked color resist of red and blue color resist is lower than the transmittance of other types of stacked color resist (such as a stacked color resist of red and green color resist, or a stacked color resist of green and blue color resist). Therefore, the first color resist light-shielding layer 41 and the second color resist light-shielding layer 42 can be selected from a red color resist layer and a blue color resist layer, respectively. The color of the first color resist layer 31 and the second color resist layer 32 is not limited and can be selected from any of red, green, and blue resist.
[0094] As shown in FIG9 , the second sub-light-shielding area 104 can also refer to the above-mentioned design. Specifically, the second light-shielding layer 120 includes a fourth color-blocking light-shielding layer 121 and a fifth color-blocking light-shielding layer 122 stacked and having different colors. The fourth color-blocking light-shielding layer 121 and the fifth color-blocking light-shielding layer 122 form a second color-blocking stack. The second light-shielding layer 120 also includes a third black matrix block 124 disposed on a side of the second color-blocking stack close to the first substrate 10 and overlapping the second color-blocking stack.
[0095] The material of the fourth color-blocking light-shielding layer 121 is the same as that of the first color-blocking layer 31, the material of the fifth color-blocking light-shielding layer 122 is the same as that of the second color-blocking layer 32, and the fifth color-blocking light-shielding layer 122 is selected from one of a red color-blocking layer, a green color-blocking layer, and a blue color-blocking layer. The fourth color-blocking light-shielding layer 121 and the fifth color-blocking light-shielding layer 122 have different color-blocking colors.
[0096] The design principle of the second sub-light-shielding area 104 is the same as that of the first sub-light-shielding area 102 , and will not be repeated here.
[0097] The present application also provides an in-vehicle monitoring device, comprising the liquid crystal display device of any of the above embodiments, and further comprising a driver monitoring system, the driver monitoring system including, but not limited to, a smoking monitoring unit, a phone call monitoring unit, a distracted driving monitoring unit, a seatbelt unfastening monitoring unit, a water drinking monitoring unit, a yawning monitoring unit, and an eye closure monitoring unit. The driver status monitoring system collects infrared light information in the 940±10nm band using the infrared light sensor, thereby achieving a monitoring function.
[0098] In summary, the present application provides a liquid crystal display device, comprising an infrared light-transmitting area 101 and a light-shielding area SA located outside the infrared light-transmitting area 101, the liquid crystal display device comprising a first substrate 10 and a second substrate 20 arranged opposite to each other; a backlight module 60 arranged on a side of the first substrate 10 facing away from the second substrate 20, an infrared sensor 70 arranged on a side of the backlight module 60 facing away from the first substrate 10, an infrared light-transmitting layer 30 arranged on a side of the second substrate 20 close to the first substrate 10, and a second substrate 20 arranged on a side of the second substrate 20 close to the first substrate 10. The first light-shielding layer 40 on one side, the infrared sensor 70 is located in the infrared light-transmitting area 101, the infrared light-transmitting layer 30 is located in the infrared light-transmitting area 101, the infrared light-transmitting layer 30 includes at least a first color-resistance layer 31 and a second color-resistance layer 32 stacked and having different colors, and the first light-shielding layer 40 is located in the light-shielding area SA, wherein the first light-shielding layer 40 includes a color-resistance stacking layer with the same material as the first color-resistance layer 31 and the second color-resistance layer 32, thereby reducing the reflectivity difference between the light-shielding area SA and the infrared light-transmitting area 101, thereby improving the integrated black effect of the liquid crystal display device.
