[0001] Citation of Related Applications
[0002] This application claims priority to a prior invention patent application filed in China with an application date of June 16, 2023, application number 202310713816.8, and invention name “A Modular Unit for Equipment Installation”. The entire contents of the prior application are incorporated herein by reference. Technical Field
[0003] The present disclosure relates to an equipment installation modular unit, and in particular to an underlying equipment installation support structure in the equipment installation modular unit. Background Art
[0004] Currently, to facilitate the rapid and easy installation of factory facilities, a common approach is to modularize the relevant facilities and transport the prefabricated modular units to the construction site for installation (e.g., the solution disclosed in patent document CN112166233A). In traditional modular design, for modular units with multi-layer equipment mounting frames, the equipment mounting frames on each layer, including the bottom layer, adopt the same standard design. Furthermore, to meet process requirements and save floor space, the bottom layer is also required to house the relevant equipment on the other layers. Furthermore, to ensure that the equipment piping on the bottom layer is hoisted and transported together with the modular units, maximize trial installation and inspection at the modular structure manufacturer, and ensure hoisting strength, a steel structure layer is typically added to the bottom layer of the modules, including grating or patterned plates. However, in industries such as the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, inert and harmful gases are generated during production. These gases often accumulate between the bottom layer equipment structures (e.g., the grating or patterned plates). In other words, the equipment mounting structure on the bottom layer in conventional technologies can hinder the diffusion of inert (or harmful) gases, causing these gases to stagnate near the bottom layer, creating a potential risk. Therefore, for such equipment installation modular units used in related industries such as the chemical or pharmaceutical industries that generate inert gases (or harmful gases), it is necessary to consider modules with a substructure that facilitates gas diffusion.

[0027] The following detailed description of the technical solutions and effects of the present disclosure is given through specific implementation methods. The following implementation methods are only used to illustrate the content of the present disclosure, and the present disclosure is not limited to the following implementation methods or examples. Any changes made to the present disclosure based on the concepts of the present disclosure are within the scope of protection claimed by the present disclosure.
[0028] The modular equipment installation unit 10 provided in embodiments of the present disclosure is applicable to industries such as the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. As shown in FIG1 , the modular equipment installation unit 10 is a rectangular parallelepiped frame structure comprising: a plurality of (four in this embodiment) vertical pillars 11; a plurality of planar equipment installation frames 12 located in the middle layer; a planar equipment installation frame 13 located in the top layer; a crossbeam frame 14 located in the bottom layer for installing equipment; diagonal bracing beams 15 connecting the vertical pillars 11, the planar equipment installation frames 12, 13, and the crossbeam frame 14; and a plurality of lifting lugs 16 provided on the frame structure.
[0029] Among them, the length of multiple vertical pillars 11 can be used to limit the height of the equipment installation modular unit 10, and the equipment installation plane frame 12, 13 and the beam frame 14 are used to form a multi-layer equipment installation frame of the equipment installation modular unit 10 between the multiple vertical pillars 11.
[0030] The equipment installation plane frames 12 and 13 can be configured, for example, as follows: a polygonal frame (a rectangular frame in this embodiment) is formed by a plurality of outer frame crossbeams (four in this embodiment), with panels disposed within the frame. The panels within the frame can be fixed to the outer frame crossbeams or removably attached to the outer frame crossbeams. In this configuration, the outer frame crossbeams constituting the polygonal frame of each equipment installation plane frame are joined and secured to the plurality of vertical struts 11, and the panels disposed within the frame of each equipment installation plane frame can also be arranged parallel to one another.
[0031] 1, 2, and 6, the equipment installation beam frame 14 located on the bottom floor can be configured as follows: a polygonal frame (a rectangular frame in this embodiment) is formed by a plurality of outer frame beams (four outer frame beams 14a in this embodiment), and inner frame beams or equipment installation beams are disposed within the frame to engage with the outer frame beams. In this configuration, the outer frame beams of the beam frame 14 are engaged and fixed to the plurality of vertical pillars 11, and the plane of the frame formed by the outer frame beams of the beam frame 14 can also be configured to be parallel to the plates of the equipment installation plane frames 12 and 13.
[0032] In addition, by using multiple diagonal bracing beams 15 to connect respectively with each vertical pillar 11, the equipment installation plane frame 12, 13 and the crossbeam frame 14 as shown in Figure 1, the equipment installation modular unit 10 can be prevented from being deformed by external force, and the structural stability of the equipment installation modular unit 10 can be improved.
[0033] As shown in FIG1 , in the frame structure of the equipment installation modular unit 10, at the junction of at least one of the layers of equipment installation frames (equipment installation plane frames 12 and 13 and beam frame 14) and at least one vertical support 11, a lifting lug 16 is provided for lifting the equipment installation modular unit 10 during movement, transportation, installation, and removal of the equipment installation modular unit 10. This allows the equipment installation modular unit 10 to be moved, transported, installed, and removed by simply hooking the lifting lug 16 using a crane or the like, simplifying operation.
[0034] The equipment installation modular unit 10 can be manufactured and assembled in advance in a modular equipment manufacturing plant, and after the required related equipment is also installed on the equipment installation frames of each layer (equipment installation plane frames 12, 13 and beam frames 14), it is hoisted and transported as a whole to the construction and installation site of a chemical plant or pharmaceutical factory for installation and fixation. Of course, the transportation method of the equipment installation modular unit 10 disclosed in the present invention is not limited to hoisting transportation, and the equipment installation modular unit 10 disclosed in the present invention can be transported by any appropriate vehicle or tool. Among them, in the equipment installation frames of each layer (equipment installation plane frames 12, 13 and beam frames 14) of this embodiment, the connections between the multiple beams of the beam frame 14 on the bottom layer and the vertical pillars 11 and the connections with the equipment installed on the bottom layer can all be detachable connections.
[0035] FIG2 is a schematic top view showing various equipment mounted on the bottom beam frame 14 of the equipment mounting modular unit 10 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in Figure 2, the above-mentioned multiple beams of the beam frame 14 include four outer frame beams 14a connected to the vertical pillars 11, two first inner frame beams 14b connecting two outer frame beams 14a opposite to each other, a second inner frame beam 14c connected between one outer frame beam 14a of the two outer frame beams 14a not connected by the first inner frame beams 14b and the first inner frame beam 14b opposite to it, two first equipment installation beams 14d connected between the other outer frame beam 14a of the two outer frame beams 14a not connected by the first inner frame beam 14b and the first inner frame beam 14b opposite to it, two second equipment installation beams 14e connected between the two first inner frame beams 14b, and a third equipment installation beam 14f connected between the outer frame beam 14a and the second inner frame beam 14c.
[0036] The outer frame crossbeam 14a, the first inner frame crossbeam 14b, and the second inner frame crossbeam 14c serve as frame beams of the crossbeam frame 14, and the first equipment mounting beam 14d, the second equipment mounting beam 14e, and the third equipment mounting beam 14f serve as equipment foundation beams for mounting equipment of the crossbeam frame 14. In the embodiment shown in FIG2 , two first equipment mounting beams 14d are used to mount the first equipment 21, two second equipment mounting beams 14e are used to mount the second equipment 22, and one third equipment mounting beam 14f is used to mount the third equipment 23.
[0037] Furthermore, the number and layout of the outer frame crossbeams 14a, first inner frame crossbeams 14b, second inner frame crossbeams 14c, first equipment mounting beams 14d, second equipment mounting beams 14e, and third equipment mounting beams 14f of the crossbeam frame 14 are not limited to those shown in FIG2 , and may be modified depending on the specific equipment to be installed. Thus, the crossbeam frame 14 of the bottom layer of the equipment mounting modular unit 10 disclosed herein has excellent versatility.
[0038] The first device 21 can be a horizontal device having a saddle 21a with anchor bolts for securing to the concrete foundation at the installation site. During assembly and transportation of the modular device installation unit 10, the two first device mounting beams 14d are connected to the sides of the saddle 21a using fasteners (e.g., bolted fasteners). In other words, by fastening the saddle 21a to the two first device mounting beams 14d using fasteners (e.g., bolted fasteners), the first device 21 is mounted and secured to the crossbeam frame 14.
[0039] Specifically, the first device 21 is, for example, roughly cylindrical in shape, and is mounted and fixed on the two first device mounting beams 14d in a horizontal manner with the help of two saddles 21a below it. The saddle 21a is made of, for example, channel steel, that is, C-shaped steel. In this embodiment, as shown in FIG3 , when viewed from the side in the horizontal direction, the saddle 21a is roughly trapezoidal in shape, wider at the top and narrower at the bottom. In addition, the two first device mounting beams 14d are also made of, for example, channel steel. At the installation site, as shown in FIG2 , at two locations spaced a certain distance apart from each other in the longitudinal direction of the first device 21, the channel steel serving as the saddle 21a and the channel steel serving as the first device mounting beam 14d are connected back to back, in other words, they are connected so that the openings of the channel steels face opposite sides.
[0040] The second device 22 can be a mounting base without a saddle or the like, and a predetermined device can be mounted on the second device. The predetermined device, for example, needs to be at a certain height (e.g., 200 mm to 400 mm) from the ground plane G of the foundation according to industrial requirements. An equipment foundation beam needs to be provided on the second device 22. Specifically, as shown in FIG2 , a second device mounting beam 14 e serving as the equipment foundation beam is fixed below the second device 22. Therefore, before the equipment mounting modular unit 10 is hoisted and transported, the two second device mounting beams 14 e are first fixedly connected to the second device 22 by fasteners (e.g., bolted fasteners) or welding. In other words, the second device 22 is fixedly connected to the two second device mounting beams 14 e by fasteners (e.g., bolted fasteners) or welding. Then, the two second equipment mounting beams 14e are respectively connected to the two first inner frame beams 14b by fasteners (such as bolted fasteners), so that the second equipment 22 with the equipment base beam is installed and fixed on the beam frame 14.
[0041] However, the present invention is not limited thereto. Alternatively, the two second device mounting beams 14e may be connected to the two first inner frame cross beams 14b respectively by fasteners (such as bolted fasteners), and then the second device 22 may be fixedly connected to the two second device mounting beams 14e by fasteners (such as bolted fasteners) or welding.
[0042] In addition, the predetermined equipment installed in the second equipment 22 can also be appropriately changed according to actual needs.
[0043] The third device 23 can be a mounting base without a saddle, etc., and can be mounted on the third device 23. The predetermined device, for example, needs to be at a higher height (e.g., greater than 400 mm) from the ground plane G of the foundation according to industrial requirements. Similarly, as shown in FIG2 , a third device mounting beam 14 f serving as a device foundation beam is fixed below the third device 23. Therefore, before the device mounting modular unit 10 is hoisted and transported, the third device mounting beam 14 f must first be fixedly connected to the third device 23 by fasteners (e.g., bolted fasteners) or welding. In other words, the third device 23 is fixedly connected to the third device mounting beam 14 f by fasteners (e.g., bolted fasteners) or welding. Then, the third device mounting beam 14 f is connected to the outer frame crossbeam 14 a and the second inner frame crossbeam 14 c respectively by fasteners (e.g., bolted fasteners). In this way, the third device 23 with the device foundation beam is mounted and fixed to the crossbeam frame 14.
[0044] However, the present invention is not limited thereto, and the third device mounting beam 14f may be connected to the outer frame beam 14a and the second inner frame beam 14c respectively by fasteners (such as bolted fasteners), and then the third device 23 may be fixedly connected to the third device mounting beam 14f by fasteners (such as bolted fasteners) or welding.
[0045] In addition, the equipment installed in the third equipment 23 can also be appropriately changed according to actual needs.
[0046] The outer frame crossbeam 14a, the first inner frame crossbeam 14b, the second inner frame crossbeam 14c, the second equipment mounting beam 14e, and the third equipment mounting beam 14f can all be made of H-shaped steel, each with end plates provided at both ends, each with bolt connection holes. The first equipment mounting beam 14d is made of channel steel, with end plates provided at both ends, each with bolt connection holes. However, this is not limiting. The outer frame crossbeam 14a, the first inner frame crossbeam 14b, the second inner frame crossbeam 14c, the first equipment mounting beam 14d, the second equipment mounting beam 14e, and the third equipment mounting beam 14f can also be made of any other steel material known in the art, as needed.
[0047] After the required equipment and pipelines are installed on the equipment installation frames on the other floors, and the first equipment 21, second equipment 22, third equipment 23 and their pipelines are installed and fixed on the crossbeam frame 14, the assembly and production of the equipment installation modular unit 10 is completed. The equipment installation modular unit 10 can then be transported to the installation site for on-site construction and installation.
[0048] The following describes a method for installing the various devices on the bottom layer after the device installation modular unit 10 is transported to the installation site.
[0049] FIG3 is a longitudinal cross-sectional view of the first device 21 of the embodiment of the present disclosure during on-site installation, i.e., a cross-sectional view taken along line AA in FIG2 . Before installation, the anchor bolts B of the first device 21 are inserted into the anchor bolt receptacles reserved on-site, while the saddle 21a is directly placed on the precast concrete foundation C on-site. The connections between the two first device mounting beams 14d and the outer frame beam 14a and the first inner frame beam 14b are then removed. The connections between the two first device mounting beams 14d connected to the saddle 21a are then removed, and the outer frame beam 14a, the first device mounting beam 14d, and the first inner frame beam 14b are gradually removed. Finally, the first device 21 is fixed to the concrete foundation C by grouting the gaps between the anchor bolts B and the anchor bolt receptacles. In this way, when the first device 21 is a large device such as a horizontal device, by using the anchor bolts B and grouting the gaps between the anchor bolts B and the anchor bolt insertion holes, the installation strength of the first device 21 can be ensured, and the first device 21 can be stably fixed to the concrete foundation C.
[0050] Figure 4 is a schematic longitudinal cross-sectional view of the second device 22 during on-site installation, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, taken along line BB in Figure 2. Prior to installation, the connections between the second device mounting beam 14e and the two first inner frame crossbeams 14b are removed. The second device mounting beam 14e is then placed within a pre-cut groove W in the on-site concrete foundation and secured to the embedded plate P within the groove by welding. In this manner, the second device 22 is secured to the concrete foundation C via the second device mounting beam 14e, which has a predetermined height. This ensures that the installation height of the second device 22 meets industrial requirements by utilizing the second device mounting beam 14e positioned between the concrete foundation C and the second device 22. The structure of the second device mounting beam 14e positioned between the concrete foundation C and the second device 22 can be appropriately modified based on the actual installation. In other words, the height of the second device mounting beam 14e can be determined based on the industrial requirements for the height of the second device 22 from the ground level of the foundation. Therefore, the crossbeam frame 14 of the bottom layer of the equipment installation modular unit 10 of the present disclosure has excellent versatility.
[0051] Figure 5 is a schematic longitudinal cross-sectional view of the third device 23 during on-site installation according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, taken along line CC in Figure 2. Prior to installation, the connections between the third device mounting beam 14f and the outer frame crossbeam 14a and the second inner frame crossbeam 14c are first disassembled. The third device mounting beam 14f is then lowered onto the on-site concrete foundation C and secured to the concrete foundation C using chemical anchors H, followed by grouting. In this manner, the third device 23 is secured to the concrete foundation via the third device mounting beam 14f, which has a predetermined height. This ensures that the installation height of the third device 23 meets industry standards by utilizing the third device mounting beam 14f, located between the concrete foundation C and the third device 23. The structure of the third device mounting beam 14f, located between the concrete foundation C and the third device 23, can be appropriately modified based on the actual installation. In other words, the height of the third device mounting beam 14f can be determined based on the industry-specified height of the third device 23 from the ground level. Therefore, the bottom beam frame 14 of the equipment installation modular unit 10 of the present disclosure has excellent versatility. In addition, compared with the anchor bolts B, the chemical anchor bolts H are easier to operate, which can improve workability and reduce costs while meeting the strength requirements of the third equipment 23.
[0052] FIG6 is a partial perspective view showing a state in which various equipment on the bottom floor of the equipment installation modular unit 10 and the beam frame 14 are connected according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0053] FIG7 is a partial perspective view showing a state in which various equipment on the bottom floor of the equipment installation modular unit 10 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is detached from the beam frame 14 and fixed on a concrete foundation.
[0054] Figures 6 and 7 illustrate the bottom beam frame before and after removal. Specifically, in the embodiment shown in Figure 7, at least the outer frame beam 14a, first inner frame beam 14b, second inner frame beam 14c, and first equipment mounting beam 14d of the beam frame 14 are removed during on-site installation, thereby creating ample space between the various equipment mounted on the beam frame 14.
[0055] By adopting the equipment installation modular unit disclosed in the present invention, since the support and installation method of the underlying equipment is retained, it is ensured that the underlying equipment, pipelines, etc. can be hoisted and transported together with the modular unit, thereby meeting the module factory's needs for maximum trial installation, acceptance, and inspection. At the same time, the present invention adopts a technical solution in which the beam frame supporting the underlying equipment can be removed from the underlying equipment or the equipment foundation beam of the underlying equipment. Therefore, the area where the underlying equipment is located can have space for gases such as inert gases or harmful gases to fully diffuse, solving the problem in the prior art that inert gases are easily deposited in the underlying frame and cause hidden dangers.
[0056] As other embodiments of the present disclosure, the following changes may be made.
[0057] In addition to the connection method using fasteners (such as bolted fasteners), the detachable connections between the beams that constitute the beam frame, between the beams and the vertical pillars, and between the beams and the underlying equipment or the equipment foundation beams of the underlying equipment can also use other detachable connection methods such as snap-fitting and snap-fitting.
[0058] Except for the bottom layer, the equipment installation frames of other layers can also adopt the same connection structure as that of the bottom layer.
[0059] It should also be noted that the various specific technical features described in the above specific embodiments can be combined in any appropriate manner without contradiction.
