[0041] Before any embodiments of the present application are explained in detail, it is to be understood that the application is not limited in its application to the details of construction and the arrangement of components set forth in the following description or illustrated in the foregoing drawings.
[0042] In this application, the terms "comprises," "includes," "has," or any other variations thereof are intended to encompass non-exclusive inclusion, such that a process, method, article, or apparatus that includes a list of elements includes not only those elements but also other elements not explicitly listed, or elements inherent to such process, method, article, or apparatus. In the absence of further limitations, an element defined by the phrase "comprising a ..." does not preclude the presence of additional identical elements in the process, method, article, or apparatus that includes the element.
[0043] In this application, the term "and / or" describes a relationship between related objects, indicating that three possible relationships exist. For example, "A and / or B" can represent: A exists alone, A and B exist simultaneously, or B exists alone. Additionally, the character " / " in this application generally indicates that the related objects are in an "and / or" relationship.
[0044] In this application, the terms "connect," "combine," "couple," and "install" may refer to direct connection, combination, coupling, or installation, or indirect connection, combination, coupling, or installation. For example, a direct connection refers to two parts or components being connected together without an intermediary, and an indirect connection refers to two parts or components being connected to at least one intermediary, with the two parts or components being connected via the intermediary. Furthermore, "connect" and "couple" are not limited to physical or mechanical connections or couplings and may include electrical connections or couplings.
[0045] In this application, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that relative terms (e.g., "about," "approximately," "substantially," etc.) used in conjunction with quantities or conditions include the values and have the meaning indicated by the context. For example, the relative terms include at least the degree of error associated with the measurement of a specific value, the tolerance caused by manufacturing, assembly, use, etc. associated with a specific value. Such terms should also be considered to disclose a range defined by the absolute values of the two endpoints. Relative terms may refer to plus or minus a certain percentage (e.g., 1%, 5%, 10% or more) of the indicated value. Numerical values that do not use relative terms should also be disclosed as specific values with tolerances. In addition, "substantially" may refer to plus or minus a certain degree (e.g., 1 degree, 5 degrees, 10 degrees or more) on the basis of the indicated angle when expressing a relative angular position relationship (e.g., substantially parallel, substantially perpendicular).
[0046] In this application, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that the function performed by an assembly can be performed by one assembly, multiple assemblies, one part, or multiple parts. Similarly, the function performed by a part can also be performed by one part, one assembly, or a combination of multiple parts.
[0047] In the present application, the terms "upper", "lower", "left", "right", "front", "back" and other directional words are described based on the orientation and positional relationship shown in the accompanying drawings, and should not be understood as limiting the embodiments of the present application. In addition, in the context, it is also necessary to understand that when it is mentioned that an element is connected to another element "upper" or "lower", it can not only be directly connected to the other element "upper" or "lower", but also be indirectly connected to the other element "upper" or "lower" through an intermediate element. It should also be understood that directional words such as upper side, lower side, left side, right side, front side, back side, etc. not only represent the positive orientation, but can also be understood as the lateral orientation. [0048] The technical solution of the present application will be further explained below with reference to the accompanying drawings and through specific implementation methods.
[0049] As shown in Figures 1 and 2, this embodiment provides a fastening tool 100. The fastening tool 100 provided in this embodiment is a cylinder-type nail gun. The nail gun can be a spring-loaded nail gun, a single-cylinder nail gun, a double-cylinder nail gun, a pre-filled nail gun, or the like, without limitation. The fastening tool 100 is capable of generating a striking force against a fastener 12, thereby driving the fastener 12 into a workpiece. The fastening tool 100 includes a housing 11 and a magazine 30. A storage space is formed inside the housing 11. The magazine 30 is used to hold the fastener 12, with at least a portion of the magazine 30 disposed outside the housing 11. The fastener 12 provided in this embodiment is a nail. The nail size can be 15 Ga, 16 Ga, 18 Ga, 23 Ga, 25 Ga, or the like, without limitation. The nail can be used at an angle of 0 degrees, 5 degrees, 10 degrees, 15 degrees, 20 degrees, 25 degrees, or 30 degrees, without limitation. The housing 11 also includes a handle 112 for the user to grasp. A main switch is provided on the handle 112, which the user uses to start and stop the fastening tool 100. One end of the handle 112 is connected to a power port 113 for receiving a DC or AC power source. In this embodiment, the power port 113 is connected to a battery pack 114.
[0050] As shown in Figures 1 to 3, the fastening tool 100 also includes a striking assembly 20, a motor 13, and a transmission assembly 14. At least a portion of the striking assembly 20, motor 13, and transmission assembly 14 are housed in a housing. The housing 11 supports the motor 13 and transmission assembly 14. The striking assembly 20 includes a firing pin 21. The motor 13 drives the transmission assembly 14, which in turn drives the firing pin 21. The firing pin 21 is configured to move along a first straight line 101 to deliver a striking force to the fastener 12. The direction of the first straight line 101 represents the direction in which the fastener 12 is driven into the workpiece. After the firing pin 21 completes a strike, the fastener 12 in the magazine 30 is replenished to the front end of the firing pin 21, awaiting ejection by the firing pin 21. The striking assembly 20 reciprocates to continuously strike the fastener 12. The structure of the motor 13 driving the transmission assembly 14 and the striking assembly 20 to strike the fastener 12 is substantially the same as in the prior art and will not be further described here.
[0051] As shown in Figures 5 to 10, the magazine 30 includes at least two movable channels 102. These channels are configured to allow at least some of the fasteners 12 to move within them. This allows the fasteners 12 to move within the at least two channels 102. In other words, the fasteners 12 can be loaded along at least two paths. The movable channels 102 may be closed, partially closed, partially open, or open. Each fastener 12 in a row of fasteners 12 can sequentially pass through the movable channels 102 and be ejected by the striking assembly 20. Conventional fastening tools 100 have only one movable channel 102 through which the fasteners 12 can move during loading, resulting in a smaller number of fasteners 12 that can be loaded into the magazine 30. Fasteners 12 can move within the at least two movable channels 102 of the magazine 30, allowing for a larger number of fasteners 12 to be loaded, making it easier for the user to use without requiring frequent restocking of fasteners 12. At least some of the at least two movable channels 102 overlap in the front-to-back direction. This reduces the length of the magazine 30 in the front-to-back direction, resulting in a more compact structure. In this embodiment, the front-to-back length L1 of the magazine 30 after installation is greater than or equal to 163 mm and less than or equal to 245 mm. In some embodiments, the front-to-back length L1 of the magazine 30 after installation is greater than or equal to 184 mm and less than or equal to 225 mm. When a large number of fasteners 12 are loaded, the vertical length L2 of the magazine 30 after installation can be shortened because the fasteners 12 can move within at least two movable channels 102 of the magazine 30, resulting in a more compact structure. In this embodiment, the vertical length L2 of the magazine 30 after installation is greater than or equal to 136 mm and less than or equal to 204 mm. In some embodiments, the vertical length L2 of the magazine 30 after installation is greater than or equal to 153 mm and less than or equal to 187 mm.
[0052] The magazine 30 includes a magazine body 31 and a movable assembly 40. The movable assembly 40 is configured to separate at least two movable channels 102. By separating the at least two movable channels 102 by the movable assembly 40, two rows of fasteners 12 can move in the two movable channels 102, respectively. At least two rows of fasteners 12 in the at least two movable channels 102 do not interfere with each other. In some embodiments, the fasteners 12 loaded into the magazine 30 can also form at least two movable channels 102 based on their arrangement or shape. At least two rows of fasteners 12 contact each other, eliminating the need for the movable assembly 40 to separate each row of fasteners 12. In some embodiments, at least two rows of fasteners 12 loaded into the magazine 30 form at least two movable channels 102 based on their arrangement or shape, with at least one row of fasteners 12 separated by the movable assembly 40 to form at least one movable channel 102. At least three rows of fasteners 12 partially contact each other and partially do not interfere with each other. In this embodiment, the movable assembly 40 is positioned substantially behind the magazine body 31. In some embodiments, the movable assembly 40 is disposed substantially forward of the magazine body 31 .
[0053] The magazine body 31 includes a first accommodating portion 32 and a first mating portion 33. The first accommodating portion 32 defines a cavity 321 that accommodates at least a portion of the movable assembly 40. The movable assembly 40 includes a partition 41. The partition 41 includes a second accommodating portion 42, a third accommodating portion 43, a partition 44, and a second mating portion 45. The second accommodating portion 42 accommodates a portion of the fastener 12 and forms a portion of the movable passage 102. The third accommodating portion 43 accommodates a portion of the fastener 12 and forms a portion of the movable passage 102. The cross-sectional shapes of the second and third accommodating portions 42, 43 generally match those of the fastener 12. The cross-sectional shapes of the second and third accommodating portions 42, 43 are generally nail-shaped. The partition 44 is disposed between the second and third accommodating portions 42, 43 to separate the two movable passages 102. The first mating portion 33 includes a groove, allowing the first mating portion 33 to mate with the second mating portion 45. The first mating portion 33 defines a first mating surface 331. The second mating portion 45 is formed with a second mating surface 451. The first mating surface 331 and the second mating surface 451 are configured as inclined surfaces. When the second accommodating portion 42 and the third accommodating portion 43 are both accommodated in the first accommodating portion 32, the first mating surface 331 and the second mating surface 451 abut against each other to restrict the position of the partition 41.
[0054] The magazine body 31 includes a hollowed-out window portion 34. When at least a portion of the movable assembly 40 is accommodated in the accommodating cavity 321, the window portion 34 allows the fastener 12 to be visible through the magazine body 31. In this way, the user can easily observe the degree of consumption of the fastener 12.
[0055] The magazine body 31 is mounted on the housing 11. The movable assembly 40 is movably connected to the magazine body 31. This allows the user to change the position of the movable assembly 40 relative to the magazine body 31. The movable assembly 40 can be positioned at different positions relative to the magazine body 31. Thus, the magazine body 31 and the movable assembly 40 can together form at least part of at least two movable channels 102. The second receiving portion 42 accommodates and supports a portion of the fastener 12, and the third receiving portion 43 accommodates and supports a portion of the fastener 12. In this way, the fastener 12 can move relative to the magazine body 31 along with the movable assembly 40. The divider 41 includes an operating portion 411. The operating portion 411 is manually operated by the user to change the position of the divider 41.
[0056] The movable assembly 40 includes a locking assembly 46. The locking assembly 46 allows the divider 41 to switch between a first position and a second position relative to the magazine body 31. The locking assembly 46 has a locked state and an unlocked state. When the locking assembly 46 is in the locked state, the lock assembly 46 prohibits the divider 41 from moving relative to the magazine body 31, fixing the position of the divider 41 relative to the magazine body 31. When the lock assembly 46 is in the unlocked state, the lock assembly 46 allows the divider 41 to move relative to the magazine body 31, allowing the divider 41 to switch from the first position to the second position, or vice versa. The locking assembly 46 includes an operating member 461 and an elastic member 462. The operating portion 411 includes a hole 412. The hole 412 extends substantially along the length of the operating portion 411. The elastic member 462 is disposed in the hole 412. There are two operating members 461, one at each end of the elastic member 462. The operating member 461 is generally cylindrical. One end of each of the two operating members 461 protrudes from the hole 412 for user operation, and the other end abuts against the elastic member 462. When the user presses the two operating members 461 toward the elastic member 462, the user overcomes the elastic force of the elastic member 462, and the locking assembly 46 enters the unlocked state. When the user releases the two operating members 461, the locking assembly 46 returns to the locked state under the bias of the elastic member 462. The locking assembly 46 allows the partition 41 to switch between the first position and the second position relative to the magazine body 31, making operation safe and quick. The elastic member 462 is specifically a spring. In some embodiments, the locking assembly 46 may include a buckle, a pin, a trigger, a button, a magnetic member, etc., which are not specifically limited here.
[0057] The movable assembly 40 is connected to the magazine body 31 via an elastic member 462. The elastic member 462 includes one or more springs. One end of the spring is mounted on the movable assembly 40, and the other end is mounted on the magazine body 31. The elastic member 462 biases the movable assembly 40 toward the magazine body 31. When a user moves the movable assembly 40 away from the magazine body 31, the elastic force of the elastic member 462 must be overcome. When the user overcomes the elastic force of the elastic member 462 and pulls the movable assembly 40 backward, the movable assembly 40 moves to the third position.
[0058] The first receiving portion 32 is formed with a first opening 322. The second receiving portion 42 is formed with a second opening 421. The third receiving portion 43 is formed with a third opening 431. The cross-sectional shapes of the first opening 322, the second opening 421, and the third opening 431 substantially match the shape of the fastener 12. The cross-sectional shapes of the first opening 322, the second opening 421, and the third opening 431 are substantially nail-shaped. The movable assembly 40 is operable by a user to selectively connect the second opening 421 and the third opening 431 with the first opening 322. When the second opening 421 is connected to the first opening 322, the user can sequentially place a row of fasteners 12 into the second receiving portion 42 through the first and second openings 322 and 421, with the movable assembly 40 in the first position. When the third opening 431 is connected to the first opening 322, the user can sequentially place another row of fasteners 12 into the third receiving portion 43 through the first and third openings 431, with the movable assembly 40 in the second position. The user puts a row of nails when the movable assembly 40 is located at the first position and the second position respectively, and the magazine 30 can accommodate two rows of nails in total. In some embodiments, the movable assembly 40 includes more than two receiving portions, and the magazine 30 can accommodate more than two rows of nails in total.
[0059] The fastening tool 100 includes a fastener holder 50 that guides the fastener 12 along a first straight line 101. The fastener holder 50 is configured to selectively communicate with one of at least two movable channels 102 for the striker to strike the fastener 12. The fastener holder 50 includes an input port 51. The input port 51 communicates with at least a portion of the magazine 30, allowing the fastener 12 to move from the magazine 30 to the input port 51. The first opening 322 communicates with the input port 51. When the second opening 421 communicates with the first opening 322, the magazine body 31 and the divider 41 together form a movable channel 102 through which the fastener 12 moves. When the third opening 431 communicates with the first opening 322, the magazine body 31 and the divider 41 together form another movable channel 102 through which the fastener 12 moves. Because the first opening 322 can be aligned with the second opening 421 and the third opening 431, respectively, and the first opening 322 is in communication with the input port 51, the input port 51 selectively communicates with one of the at least two active channels 102. In this embodiment, due to the position of the partition 41 switching between the first position and the second position, the input port 51 can communicate with either one of the at least two active channels 102 or the other of the at least two active channels 102. In some embodiments, the at least two active channels 102 can converge at a point, and the input port 51 can communicate with at least two active channels 102 simultaneously.
[0060] As shown in Figure 1, the fastening tool 100 includes a lifting member 60. The lifting member 60 is operated by the user to use elastic force to tightly arrange the fasteners 12 vertically in the magazine 30. The elastic force is generated by an elastic member, such as a spring or coil spring. The lifting member 60 is configured to move the fasteners 12 so that the fasteners 12 pass through the input port 51. The fasteners 12 have an operating state and a standby state. In the operating state, the fasteners 12 are acted upon by the force of the lifting member 60 and are moved by the lifting member 60. In the standby state, the fasteners 12 are not acted upon by the force of the lifting member 60 and are not moved by the lifting member. The movable assembly 40 moves at least some of the fasteners 12 into the operating state. In this way, in the standby state, some of the fasteners 12 stored in the magazine 30 can be quickly switched to the operating state for user use. In the operating state, the fasteners 12 are loaded sequentially through the nail input port 51, and the user can use the fastening tool 100. In operation, the lifting member 60 drives the fasteners 12 to move in at least one of the at least two movable channels 102. The fasteners 12 successively pass through the input port 51 and are ejected by the striking assembly 20 along the first straight line 101. In this embodiment, the fasteners 12 are stored in the magazine 30.
[0061] The following describes the entire process of replacing and consuming fasteners 12 using the fastening tool 100. As shown in Figure 1, the user pulls the lifting member 60 from above the magazine 30 to below it. The side of the magazine 30 facing away from the housing 11 is defined as the outer side, and the side of the magazine 30 facing closer to the housing 11 is defined as the inner side. As shown in Figures 13 and 14, the second opening 421 is connected to the first opening 322, and the movable assembly 40 is in the first position. At least a portion of the third receiving portion 43 is located outside the magazine body 31. The user then loads a row of fasteners 12 into the second receiving portion 42 through the first opening 322 and the second opening 421. After loading the row of fasteners 12, the user overcomes the elastic force of the elastic member 462 and pulls the movable assembly 40 rearward. The movable assembly 40 moves to the third position. As shown in Figures 15 and 16, the user moves the movable assembly 40 inward to the second position. The third opening 431 is connected to the first opening 322. The user then loads a row of fasteners 12 into the third accommodating portion 43 through the first and third openings 322 and 431. This now holds two rows of fasteners 12 in total. The user then operates the lifting member 60, tightly arranging the rear-loaded row of fasteners 12 in the third accommodating portion 43. The rear-loaded row of fasteners 12 enters its active state. The rear-loaded row of fasteners 12 moves within the movable channel 102 formed by the third accommodating portion 43 and the magazine body 31. Each fastener 12 is ejected sequentially. Once all fasteners 12 in the rear-loaded row 12 have been consumed, the user pulls the lifting member 60, which has moved the fasteners 12 above the magazine 30, back below it. As shown in Figures 13 and 14, the user operates the locking assembly 46, unlocking it. The locking assembly 46 allows the user to move the movable assembly 40 to its first position. In the first position, the second opening 421 communicates with the first opening 322. The previously loaded row of fasteners 12 enters the active state from the standby state, and the lifting member 60 tightly arranges the previously loaded row of fasteners 12 in the second accommodating portion 42. The previously loaded row of fasteners 12 moves within the movable channel 102 formed by the second accommodating portion 42 and the magazine body 31. Each fastener 12 is ejected sequentially. Once all fasteners 12 in the previously loaded row 12 have been consumed, both rows 12 are fully consumed.
[0062] Magazine 30 is also suitable for use with pneumatic fastening tools. Pneumatic fastening tools operate using high-pressure gas. In some embodiments, the pneumatic fastening tool does not include a motor. In some embodiments, the pneumatic fastening tool does not include a battery. The specific structure of the fastening tool compatible with magazine 30 is not limited herein; the fastening tool may also be powered by fuel.
[0063] The above embodiments merely illustrate the basic principles and features of the present application. The present application is not limited to the above embodiments. Various changes and modifications may be made to the present application without departing from the spirit and scope of the present application. Such changes and modifications are intended to fall within the scope of the present application. The scope of protection claimed in the present application is defined by the appended claims and their equivalents.
