Solid-state image sensor

A solid-state image sensor of a charge sorting method used in a time-of-flight measurement method, in which noise derived from background light, which is caused by the reflection light from the subject derived from background light is eliminated, reflection light from the subject derived from a predetermined light source, which is previously set in the solid-state image sensor, is effectively extracted as a signal component to achieve high sensitivity and low noise, which is a solid-state image sensor that is equipped with a plurality of charge-storage sections, discriminates photoelectrons generated by incoming light on the incoming timing and sort to the above-described plurality of charge-storage sections, and measures the timing of the incoming light, in which the sensor has: a plurality of capacitors that capable of conducting to the plurality of charge-storage sections; and a control section that controls a conducted state between the above-described plurality of charge-storage sections and the above-described plurality of capacitors, in which by selectively conducting the above-described plurality of charge-storage sections and the above-described plurality of capacitors by the control of the above-described control section, the difference component of charge stored in the above-described plurality of charge-storage sections is extracted.

Light emitting device using led

A light-emitting device (10) using an LED is proposed. This light-emitting device (10) is provided with a packaging substrate (1), a light-emitting element (2) which is mounted on this packaging substrate (1) with its face down, a fluorescent member (3) that is arranged face to face with a light-extracting surface (S) of the light-emitting element (2) without contacting the light-emitting element (2) and an optical member (4) which receives light that has been emitted from the light-emitting element (2) and made incident thereon through the fluorescent member (3), and aligns the incident light toward the outside of the device. Light, emitted from the light-emitting element (2), is made incident on the fluorescent member (3) to excite the fluorescent material so that the fluorescent material re-emits light having a wavelength different from that of the incident light. Those light rays, emitted from the light-emitting element (2), which have not been absorbed by the fluorescent member (3) and have passed through the fluorescent member (3) and those light rays that have been emitted from the fluorescent material are made incident on the optical member (4) and are aligned. Because the fluorescent member (3) is not made in contact with the light-emitting element (2), it does not receive the heat from the light-emitting element (2) through heat conduction, and consequently becomes less susceptible to degradation due to heat. Moreover, with the face-down mounting structure, the fluorescent member (3) and the optical member (4) can be placed closer to the light-emitting element (2) as long as they dose not contact the light-emitting element (2). Consequently, the service life of the fluorescent material or the fluorescent-material-mixed resin that tends to deteriorate can be lengthened, lights can be extracted more efficiently, and light rays can be properly aligned in a predetermined direction.

Modularized extraction, transformation, and loading for a database

Techniques exporting data and metadata from a source database environment to a target database environment are provided. The techniques include the steps of analyzing metadata that describes one or more items, the data for which is in a source database, where the one or more items include at least one of a view, a sequence, a dimension, a cube, an ETL mapping, and any database object for which the metadata is stored outside of the source and target databases. The data for each item resides in a data file associated with the source database. The data for each item is incorporated into the target database based on the metadata by providing the target database access to an incorporated data file, where the incorporated data file is the data file or a copy thereof. Techniques are also provided for exporting database data from the source database. The techniques include extracting metadata that describes one or more items, the data for which is in the source database, where the one or more items include at least one of the structures described above. The data for each item resides in a data file associated with the source database. After the exporting, a database server that manages the target database is provided access to an incorporated data file, where the incorporated data file is the data file or a copy thereof.

Method for detecting lane lines based on grayscale estimation and cascade Hough transform

The invention provides a method for detecting lane lines based on grayscale estimation and cascade Hough transform, belonging to the technical field of image processing, and relating to image segmentation, image line geometrical characteristics detection and intelligent vehicle navigation simultaneously, which is mainly applicable to an auxiliary safety drive system. The method comprises the following steps: carrying out grayscale estimation on sensitive areas of an original image I of the collected vehicle road conditions ahead; dividing the sensitive areas into a vehicle shadow region, a roadway non-mark region and a roadway mark region (including the area of the car body of the vehicles ahead); adopting a mathematical morphology method to obtain a boundary image from the roadway mark region in the areas divided by the grayscale estimation; then carrying out Hough transform on the obtained boundary image of the roadway mark region to extract line image characteristics therein; and finally realizing the detection of the lane lines by searching end points of roadway mark boundary. Compared with the congeneric method, the method in the invention has stronger stability and wider application occasions and the like.

Laser desorption ion source

Atmospheric pressure, intermediate pressure and vacuum laser desorption ionization methods and ion sources are configured to increase ionization efficiency and the efficiency of transmitting ions to a mass to charge analyzer or ion mobility analyzer. An electric field is applied in the region of a sample target to accumulate ions generated from a local ion source on a solid or liquid phase sample prior to applying a laser desorption pulse. The electric field is changed just prior to or during the desorption laser pulse to promote the desorption of charged species and improve the ionization efficiency of desorbed sample species. After a delay, the electric field may be further changed to optimize focusing and transmission of ions into a mass spectrometer or ion mobility analyzer. Charged species may also be added to the region of the laser desorbed sample plume to promote ion-molecule reactions between the added ions and desorbed neutral sample species, increasing desorbed sample ionization efficiency and/or creating desired product ion species. The cycling of electric field changes is repeated in a timed sequence with one or more desorption laser pulse occurring per electric field change cycle. Embodiments of the invention comprise atmospheric pressure, intermediate pressure and vacuum pressure laser desorption ionization source methods and devices for increasing the analytical flexibility and improving the sensitivity of mass spectrometric analysis.
