Abstract
Description
[0001] A CARBON FILTER
[0002] Technical Field
[0003] The present invention relates to at least one carbon filter manufactured in one piece so as to be used in cooker hoods enabling to clean the ambient air at homes without snail exhaust fans.
[0004] Background of the Invention
[0005] In today's applications, cooker hoods enable the ambient air to be cleaned by drawing in the air. The cooker hood allows the air in its location to be cleaned by enabling the cleaned air to be released back into the environment. However, it is necessary to use a carbon filter when using a cooker hood in a house that does not have the said snail exhaust fan. The said carbon filter cleans the ambient air by allowing the cooker hood to be used by being mounted on the snail blocks of the cooker hood. Carbon filters allow the cleaned air to be released into the environment by cleaning the particles in the drawn air through the carbon grains it has by being positioned on the cooker hood. However, the said carbon filters are configured by using two and / or more parts and cause difficulties for users during production, assembly and post-assembly maintenance.
[0006] For this reason, in the state of the art, there is a need for a carbon filter which allows carbon particles to be contained therein by being produced in one piece and which allows easy assembly on the cooker hood.
[0007] The Turkish utility model document no. TR2020 / 21384, an application included in the state of the art, discloses an apparatus to improve the air drawing performance of the cooker hood. The cooker hood mentioned in the said invention comprises at least one body, at least one motor for drawing in the air, a glass cover and a plastic cover spacer for creating an opening through which the air can pass, a control panel for allowing the cooker hood to be controlled by the user, at least one cooker hood filter and a carbon filter for cleaning the air drawn in, and a chimney outlet cover for releasing the air passed through the filters to the environment. The carbon filter mentioned in the invention enables the air taken from the environment to be cleaned together with the present cooker hood filter in cases where the use of the exhaust fan of the cooker hood is limited and / or not available at all, and to protect the respective parts of the cooker hood motor.
[0008] Summary of the Invention
[0009] An object of the present invention is to realize at least one carbon filter manufactured in one piece so as to be used in cooker hoods enabling to clean the ambient air at homes without snail exhaust fans.
[0010] Detailed Description of the Invention
[0011] “A Carbon Filter” realized to fulfil the objective of the present invention is shown in the figures attached, in which:
[0012] Figure 1 is a general view of the open state of an inventive carbon filter.
[0013] Figure 2 is a general view of the close state of an inventive carbon filter.
[0014] The components illustrated in the figures are individually numbered, where the numbers refer to the following:
[0015] 1. Carbon Filter
[0016] 2. Body
[0017] 3. Cover
[0018] 4. Lug 5. Gap
[0019] An inventive carbon filter (1) which allows the use of hoods at homes without snail exhaust fans comprises at least one body (2) which has openings allowing the air, that is drawn by the cooker hood from the environment, to pass through by being mounted on the snail blocks of the cooker hood and a chamber with a depth enabling to keep the carbon particles, that allow the air passing through it to be cleaned; at least one cover (3) with an opening and closing structure which allows the top of the body (2) to be completely closed by being located at the other end of the body (2) that has not been assembled with the cooker hood snail block thereof; at least one lug (4) which allows the cover (3) to be locked when it is closed on the body (2) and / or the locked cover (3) to be disengaged from the body (2) by being placed in various positions on the cover (3); at least one gap (5) which is located on the body (2) in such a way that it corresponds to the lugs (4) located on the cover (3) and which allows the cover (3) to be locked by being closed on the body (2) and / or the locked cover (3) to be opened by disengaging it from the body (2).
[0020] The body (2) included in the inventive carbon filter (1) comprises at least one chamber that has been mounted on the cooker hood snail blocks at one end and that has a certain depth wherein carbon particles are contained. The body (2) contains at least one cover (3) that allows the top of chamber to be closed at the other end where it has not been assembled with the cooker hood. The body (2) comprises at least one gap (5) corresponding to each lug (4) located on the cover (3) that covers the chamber. Therefore, each lug (4) enables the cover (3) to be locked onto the body (2) by passing through the gap (5) while the cover (3) is closed on the chamber. The cover (3) included in the inventive carbon filter (1) is in a structure that can be closed and opened on the body (2) by rotating around the connection point by being connected with the body (2) at least at one point. The cover (3) can be moved to the closed position by rotating around the connection point established with the body (2) in such a way that top of the chamber is completely closed and / or can be moved from the closed position to the open position. The cover (3) has at least one lug (4) located thereon and allows it to be locked onto the body (3) when it is moved to the closed position on the body (2).
[0021] The lug (4) included in the inventive carbon filter (1) is located in the area of the cover (3) in contact with the body (2) and enables the cover (3) to be locked onto the body (2) by passing through the gap (5) located on the body (2). The lug (4) enables the locking connection of the cover (3) with the body (2) to be disconnected by being removed from the gap (5) upon pressing the part of the cover (3) passing through the gap (5) when it is desired to move it from the closed position to the open position. Therefore, the user can allow the cover (3), which is moved to the closed position, to be locked onto the body (2) with the help of the lugs (4) thereof; or allow the cover (3) to be moved to the open position by enabling the cover (3), which is in the closed position, to be disengaged from the body (2) by pressing the lugs (4) thereof.
[0022] The gap (5) included in the inventive carbon filter (1) allows the lug (4) to pass through the body (2) by being located on the body (2) in such a way that it corresponds to each lug (4) located on the cover (3). Therefore, when the cover (3) is closed on the body (2), the lugs (4) thereof allow the cover (3) to be locked onto the body (2) by passing through the gap (5).
[0023] Industrial Application of the Invention The inventive carbon filter (1) includes at least one body (2) which allows the air drawn from the environment to be cleaned by passing through it and being placed in the snail blocks of the cooker hoods that do not have a snail exhaust fan. The body (2) has a chamber of a certain depth and the carbon particles that allow the drawn air to be cleaned are ensured to be kept in the chamber. There is at least one cover (3) which allows the other end of the body (2) where the connection with the snail blocks is not established to be closed, and the connection of the cover (3) with the body (2) is established at least at one point. The cover (3) has a movable structure from the connection point established with the body (2) and the body (2) allows the chamber to be closed or opened by enabling the cover (3) to be closed and opened in a certain axis around the connection point. There is at least one lug (4) on the cover (3) and at least one gap (5) corresponding to each lug (4) on the body (2). During the closure of the cover (3) on the body (2), it is enabled that the cover (3) is locked by passing the lug (4) through the gap (5) or that the cover (3) is moved to the open position by opening the lock by applying pressure to each lug (4) to disengage it from the gap (5) while it is in the locked position.
[0024] Within these basic concepts; it is possible to develop various embodiments of the inventive “A Carbon Filter (1)”; the invention cannot be limited to examples disclosed herein and it is essentially according to claims.
