Abstract

The invention relates to a charging socket (4) for an electrically driveable motor vehicle (2), comprising a receiving space (8) at least partially delimited by a housing element (7), comprising a first connection device (16) which is arranged at least partially in the receiving space (8) and to which the charging plug for charging an electrical energy storage device of the motor vehicle (2) can be connected, and comprising at least one cover element (17) which is held on the housing element (7) so as to be movable relative to the housing element (7) between at least one release position (18) and a closed position (19), wherein at least one second connection device (21), which is arranged on the cover element (17) at least partially on an outer side (20) of the cover element (17), and at least one magnet device (22) are provided, by means of which at least one magnetic field can be generated for connecting a second charging plug (23) to the second connection device (21).
