[0045] The terms "first", "second" etc. in the specification and claims of the present application and the above-mentioned drawings are used to distinguish similar objects and are not necessarily used to describe a specific order or sequential order. It should be understood that the data used in this way can be interchangeable where appropriate, so that the embodiments of the present application described herein can be implemented in a sequence other than those illustrated or described herein. In addition, the terms "including" and "having" and any of their variations are intended to cover non-exclusive inclusions, for example, in addition to the process, method, system, product or equipment comprising a series of steps or units shown in the embodiments of the present application, other processes, methods, systems, products and equipment of this series of steps or units not clearly listed may also be included, or other steps or units inherent to these processes, methods, systems, products or equipment.
[0046] The display panel is equipped with sub-pixels of various colors, and the capacitances of sub-pixels of different colors are different, which makes the driving current change process inconsistent, and then leads to inconsistent lighting processes of sub-pixels of different colors, that is, the speeds at which sub-pixels of different colors become brighter are inconsistent, resulting in color deviation when dragging the picture, and poor display effect.
[0047] This application proposes the following solutions:
[0048] FIG1 is a schematic diagram of the structure of a display panel provided by an embodiment of the present application. Referring to FIG1 , the display panel includes: a substrate 11; a driving layer 12, the driving layer 12 is located on the substrate 11; an anode layer and a pixel defining layer, the anode layer and the pixel defining layer are located on the driving layer 12; the anode layer includes a plurality of anode units 131 arranged at intervals, the pixel defining layer includes a pixel defining portion 141 and an opening 1410 defined by the pixel defining portion 141, the opening exposing the anode unit 131; a light-emitting layer, located on the anode layer; the light-emitting layer includes a plurality of first color light-emitting structures 151, each first color light-emitting structure 151 corresponding to an anode unit 131; Unit 131; a cathode layer, located on the light-emitting layer, including a plurality of cathode units, the cathode unit including a first cathode unit 161 corresponding to the first color light-emitting structure 151; a capacitance adjustment layer, located between the substrate 11 and the cathode layer; the capacitance adjustment layer including a first capacitance adjustment unit 21 corresponding to the first cathode unit 161; at least a portion of the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 is located within a projection of the corresponding first cathode unit 161 along the thickness direction of the display panel; wherein at least part of the cathode units are insulated from each other; or, the cathode layer is an integral conductive structure, and the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 is electrically connected to the corresponding anode unit 131.
[0049] The substrate 11 can be a rigid substrate, made of, for example, glass; it can also be a flexible substrate, made of polyimide (PI). The drive layer 12 includes pixel circuits that drive the light-emitting elements for display. The pixel circuits include thin-film transistors and capacitors. Thin-film transistors generally include a gate, a source, and a drain. The circuit structure of the pixel circuit can be any of a 2T1C circuit, a 7T1C circuit, a 7T2C circuit, an 8T1C circuit, or a 9T1C circuit. Herein, a "2T1C circuit" refers to a pixel circuit that includes two thin-film transistors and one capacitor, and other "7T1C circuits," "7T2C circuits," and "9T1C circuits" are analogous. The drive layer 12 may include a stacked active layer 121, a gate layer 122, an interlayer dielectric layer 123, a source-drain electrode layer 124, and a planarization layer 125. The drive layer 12 may also include a metal layer for providing data lines and power signal lines. A buffer layer (not shown) may also be included between the drive layer 12 and the substrate 11.
[0050] The anode layer can be made of a transparent conductive material such as indium tin oxide. The pixel defining layer is formed with multiple openings, which expose corresponding anode units 131. Each opening corresponds to a sub-pixel, and the sub-pixels can be divided into first color sub-pixels, second color sub-pixels, and third color sub-pixels. The sub-pixel structure can be a sequentially stacked anode unit 131, a light-emitting structure, and a cathode unit; the sub-pixel structure can also be a sequentially stacked anode unit 131, a hole injection layer, a hole transport layer, an electron blocking layer, a light-emitting structure, a hole blocking layer, an electron transport layer, an electron injection layer, and a cathode unit.
[0051] In this embodiment, the light-emitting layer may include light-emitting structures of three colors, namely, a first color light-emitting structure 151 corresponding to a first color sub-pixel, a second color light-emitting structure 152 corresponding to a second color sub-pixel, and a third color light-emitting structure 153 corresponding to a third color sub-pixel; the first color light-emitting structure 151 may be a light-emitting structure that emits red light, the second color light-emitting structure 152 may be a light-emitting structure that emits blue light, and the third color light-emitting structure 153 may be a light-emitting structure that emits green light.
[0052] The capacitance adjustment layer includes a plurality of first capacitance adjustment units 21, made of, for example, metal or other conductive structures. At least a portion of each first capacitance adjustment unit 21 is located within the projection of the corresponding first cathode unit 161 along the thickness of the display panel. This means that, along the thickness of the display panel, the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 may be entirely or partially located within the projection of the corresponding first cathode unit 161. The first capacitance adjustment unit 21 can overlap with the corresponding first cathode unit 161 to form a capacitance structure. Since the first cathode unit 161 serves as the cathode of the sub-pixel corresponding to the first-color light-emitting structure 151, this is equivalent to connecting an additional capacitor to the cathode of the first-color light-emitting structure 151, thereby increasing the capacitance of the first-color sub-pixel. This reduces the speed at which the first-color sub-pixel turns on. Since the turn-on speed and turn-on brightness have an integral relationship, a slower turn-on speed results in a lower brightness during turn-on, thereby preventing smearing toward the first color when the display panel turns on. At the same time, by setting the first capacitor adjustment unit 21, the brightness of the first color sub-pixel is lower when it is turned on, and the voltage required for turning it on is larger, which can increase the turn-on voltage of the first color sub-pixel. When the driving transistor of the pixel driving circuit is a P-type transistor, the VGMP voltage required to be provided by the driving chip can be reduced, thereby reducing the power consumption of the driving chip; wherein the VGMP voltage is the maximum voltage value corresponding to the sub-pixel display, that is, the voltage value or corresponding voltage required to display 0 grayscale.
[0053] The technical solution of this embodiment adopts a display panel comprising: a substrate; a driving layer located on the substrate; an anode layer and a pixel defining layer located on the driving layer; the anode layer comprising a plurality of spaced anode units, the pixel defining layer comprising a pixel defining portion and an opening defined by the pixel defining portion, the opening exposing the anode units; a light-emitting layer located on the anode layer; the light-emitting layer comprising a plurality of first-color light-emitting structures, each corresponding to an anode unit; a cathode layer located on the light-emitting layer, comprising a plurality of cathode units, the cathode units including a first cathode unit corresponding to the first-color light-emitting structure; a capacitance adjustment layer located between the substrate and the cathode layer; the capacitance adjustment layer including a first capacitance adjustment unit corresponding to the first cathode unit; at least a portion of the first capacitance adjustment unit is located within a projection of the corresponding first cathode unit along the thickness direction of the display panel. The first capacitance adjustment unit can overlap with the corresponding first cathode unit to form a capacitance structure, which is equivalent to connecting an additional capacitance to the cathode corresponding to the first-color light-emitting structure, that is, increasing the capacitance of the first-color sub-pixel, thereby reducing the brightness of the first-color sub-pixel when it is turned on, thereby preventing the display panel from being biased toward the first color when it is turned on.
[0054] Optionally, at least some of the cathode units are insulated from each other; or, the cathode layer is an integral conductive structure, and the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 is electrically connected to the corresponding anode unit 131. In the structure shown in Figure 1, the cathode layer can be an integral conductive structure, that is, the cathode corresponding to each sub-pixel is electrically connected together (the isolation portion 17 can be a conductive material, and the first cathode unit 161 is electrically connected to the other parts of the cathode layer through the isolation portion 17). At this time, if the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 is in a floating state, the capacitance formed by the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 and the cathode layer has the same effect on each sub-pixel. Therefore, in this structure, the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 needs to be electrically connected to the corresponding anode unit 131, so that the capacitance formed by the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 only affects the corresponding sub-pixel. In some other embodiments, for example, the isolation portion 17 is an insulating material; or as shown in Figure 2, Figure 2 is a structural schematic diagram of another display panel provided in an embodiment of the present application, the isolation portion 17 is a conductive material, but the first cathode unit 161 is only in contact with the portion of the isolation portion 17 adjacent to it, so that the multiple cathode units in the cathode layer are insulated. At this time, the capacitance formed by the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 and the corresponding first cathode unit 161 will only affect the corresponding sub-pixel, but will not affect other sub-pixels. Therefore, under this structure, the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 can float or be electrically connected to the corresponding anode unit 131.
[0055] Optionally, continuing to refer to Figure 1, the display panel includes an isolation portion 17, which is located on the pixel defining portion 141; a plurality of cathode units are arranged at intervals and in contact with the isolation portion 17; the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 also includes another portion located within the projection of the isolation portion 17 that is in contact with the corresponding first cathode unit 161.
[0056] The display panel of this embodiment is provided with an isolation portion 17, and the material of the isolation portion 17 can be an insulating material. In some other optional embodiments, the isolation portion 17 is a conductive material, for example, it can be aluminum. In an optional embodiment, an eaves structure 18 is further provided on the isolation portion 17, and the material of the eaves structure 18 can be titanium. The sub-pixels of this embodiment can be produced by photolithography, without the need for precision mask production, and thus do not require the use of a precision mask, which can save production costs. Optionally, multiple isolation portions 17 can be independent structures; or they can be connected as a whole to form a mesh structure. When the display panel includes isolation portions 17, the cathode unit is the portion located between the isolation portions 17. For example, the isolation portions 17 enclose an opening, and the opening enclosed by the isolation portions 17 is corresponding to the opening defined by the pixel defining portion 141, and the cathode unit is the portion corresponding to the opening enclosed by the isolation portions 17.
[0057] The light-emitting structure is formed within the opening formed by the pixel-defining layer, and the isolation portion 17 can separate the light-emitting structure. The cathode unit not only covers the light-emitting structure but also extends along the sidewalls of the isolation portion 17. When the isolation portion 17 is made of a conductive material, the first capacitance adjustment unit 21, the corresponding first cathode unit 161, and the isolation portion 17 can all form a capacitor, thereby expanding the area where the capacitor can be formed and simplifying the layout design.
[0058] Optionally, in the above embodiment, as shown in FIG3 , a raised portion 1411 is provided on the portion of the pixel defining portion 141 corresponding to the isolation portion 17, and the isolation portion 17 is located on the side of the raised portion 1411 away from the substrate 11. In this embodiment, by providing the raised portion 1411, the distance between the isolation portion 17 and the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 is different from the distance between the first cathode unit 161 and the first capacitance adjustment unit 21. That is, when the overlapping area is the same, the unit area capacitance formed between the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 and the first cathode unit 161 is different from the unit area capacitance formed between the first cathode unit 21 and the isolation portion 17. By adjusting the position of the first capacitance adjustment unit 21, the total capacitance formed by the first capacitance adjustment unit 21, the first cathode unit 161, and the isolation portion 17 can be controlled, thereby adjusting the capacitance corresponding to each sub-pixel. The raised portion 1411 can be the material of the pixel defining layer or other insulating material. The pixel defining layer may also include a recessed portion, and the isolation portion 17 is located on the side of the recessed portion away from the substrate. The dielectric constant of the insulating material at the position corresponding to the recessed portion can be different from the dielectric constant of the pixel defining layer at other positions, or the isolation portion 17 can be directly disposed in the recessed portion. In other optional embodiments, a protrusion or recessed portion can be provided at the portion of the pixel defining layer corresponding to the first cathode unit 161.
[0059] Optionally, continuing to refer to Figure 1, the light-emitting layer also includes a plurality of second color light-emitting structures 152, each second color light-emitting structure 152 corresponds to an anode unit 131; the cathode unit also includes a second cathode unit 162 corresponding to the second color light-emitting structure 152; the capacitance adjustment layer also includes a second capacitance adjustment unit 22 corresponding to the second cathode unit 162; at least a portion of the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 is located within the projection of the corresponding second cathode unit 162 along the thickness direction of the display panel.
[0060] The material of the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 is, for example, metal or other conductive structures. In the thickness direction of the display panel, the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 can be entirely located within the projection of the corresponding second cathode unit 162, or can be partially located within the projection of the second cathode unit 162. The second capacitance adjustment unit 22 can overlap with the corresponding second cathode unit 162 to form a capacitor structure. And because the overlapping area between the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 and the corresponding first cathode unit 161 is different from the overlapping area between the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 and the corresponding second cathode unit 162, the capacitances of the two capacitors formed are different, avoiding the situation where the second color sub-pixel and the first color sub-pixel have the same additional capacitance, resulting in different lighting speeds when the two color sub-pixels are turned on, that is, color cast still occurs. At the same time, by providing the second capacitance adjustment unit 22, the turn-on voltage of the second color sub-pixel can be increased. In addition, when the driving transistor of the pixel driving circuit is a P-type transistor, the VGMP voltage required by the driver chip can be reduced, thereby reducing the power consumption of the driver chip.
[0061] Optionally, as shown in FIG. 1 , the first cathode unit 161 and the second cathode unit 162 are spaced apart from each other. In this embodiment, the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 may be floated or electrically connected to the corresponding anode unit 131 .
[0062] In some other embodiments, the first cathode unit 161 and the second cathode unit 162 are spaced apart and electrically connected to each other. In these embodiments, the first cathode unit 161 can be electrically connected to the corresponding anode unit 131, and the second cathode unit 162 can be electrically connected to the corresponding anode unit 131.
[0063] In addition, the capacitance adjustment layer has a certain thickness, which may cause the subsequently prepared sub-pixels to be partially raised or partially tilted. In this embodiment, all the first capacitance adjustment units 21 have the same shape and size, and all the second capacitance adjustment units 22 have the same shape and size. The second capacitance adjustment units 22 have at least the same shape and size as the first capacitance adjustment units 21. This can make the protrusion and tilt of the first color sub-pixel caused by the capacitance adjustment layer similar to the protrusion and tilt of the second color sub-pixel. In turn, the light emission directions and angles of the first color sub-pixel and the second color sub-pixel are similar, so that there will be no obvious color shift when the user views from different viewing angles.
[0064] Optionally, in some embodiments, referring to Figure 1, the light-emitting layer also includes a plurality of second color light-emitting structures 152, each second color light-emitting structure 152 corresponds to an anode unit 131; the cathode unit also includes a second cathode unit 162 corresponding to the second color light-emitting structure 152; the capacitance adjustment layer also includes a second capacitance adjustment unit 22 corresponding to the second cathode unit 162; along the thickness direction of the display panel, a portion of the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 is located within the projection of the isolation portion 17 in contact with the second cathode unit 162; along the thickness direction of the display panel, the area of the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 located within the projection of the corresponding isolation portion 17 is different from the area of the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 located within the projection of the corresponding isolation portion 17.
[0065] The second capacitance adjustment unit 22 can overlap with the corresponding isolation portion 17 to form a capacitance structure. And because the overlapping area of the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 and the corresponding isolation portion 17 is different from the overlapping area of the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 and the corresponding isolation portion 17, the capacitance of the two capacitors formed is different, which avoids the second color sub-pixel and the first color sub-pixel having the same additional capacitance, resulting in different lighting speeds of the two color sub-pixels when they are turned on, that is, color cast still occurs. When multiple isolation portions 17 are connected to form a mesh structure, the area of the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 located within the projection of the corresponding isolation portion 17 as described above is different from the area of the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 located within the projection of the corresponding isolation portion 17; it can be understood that the area of the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 located within the projection of the mesh structure along the thickness direction of the display panel is different from the area of the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 located within the projection of the mesh structure along the thickness direction of the display panel.
[0066] Optionally, the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 has the same shape as the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 .
[0067] Optionally, the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 has the same area as the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 .
[0068] Optionally, in some other embodiments, along the thickness direction of the display panel, the area of the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 located within the projection of the corresponding first cathode unit 161 is different from the area of the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 located within the projection of the corresponding second cathode unit 162; and the area of the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 located within the projection of the corresponding isolation portion 17 is different from the area of the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 located within the projection of the corresponding isolation portion 17.
[0069] Since the thickness and material of the isolation portion 17 and the cathode unit are different, and the side of the pixel defining portion 141 facing the opening is an inclined surface, that is, the angle between the side of the pixel defining portion 141 facing the opening and the bottom surface of the pixel defining portion 141 facing the substrate 11 is an acute angle, the cathode unit has a slope, and the thickness of the dielectric layer between the cathode unit and the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 is not uniform. Even if the sum of the overlapping area between the isolation portion 17 and the capacitance adjustment unit and the overlapping area formed by the cathode unit and the capacitance adjustment unit is the same, the total capacitance value of the two capacitors formed will be different with the difference in their respective overlapping areas. Therefore, the capacitance value of the two capacitors formed can be adjusted by adjusting the projection area of the capacitance adjustment unit and the corresponding cathode unit and the corresponding isolation portion 17. The two capacitors formed are a parallel structure, and the size of the total capacitance can be adjusted. In this embodiment, along the thickness direction of the display panel, the area of the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 within the projection of the corresponding first cathode unit 161 is different from the area of the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 within the projection of the corresponding second cathode unit 162; and the area of the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 within the projection of the corresponding isolation portion 17 is different from the area of the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 within the projection of the corresponding isolation portion 17. This configuration ensures that the capacitance value of the capacitor formed by the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 is different from the capacitance value of the capacitor formed by the second capacitance adjustment unit 22. In other words, the capacitance connected to the cathode of the first color sub-pixel is different from the capacitance connected to the cathode of the second color sub-pixel. By setting the area of the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 to be located within the projection of the first cathode unit 161, and setting the area of the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 to be located within the projection of the second cathode unit 162, the sum of the capacitance connected to the cathode of the first color sub-pixel and the capacitance of the first color sub-pixel itself is equal to the sum of the capacitance connected to the cathode of the second color sub-pixel and the capacitance of the second color sub-pixel itself, thereby making the lighting process of the first color sub-pixel and the second color sub-pixel consistent, thereby avoiding color deviation when the display panel is turned on.
[0070] In the above embodiment, no capacitance adjustment unit is provided corresponding to the third color sub-pixel because the phenomenon of bias toward the third color when the display panel is turned on is weak. In other application scenarios, such as when higher display quality is required, the cathode layer may also include a third cathode unit 163 corresponding to the third color light-emitting structure 153; the capacitance adjustment layer may also include a third capacitance adjustment unit corresponding to the third cathode unit 163; along the thickness direction of the display panel, at least a portion of the third capacitance adjustment unit is located within the projection of the corresponding third cathode unit 163; the third capacitance adjustment unit is identical to at least one of the shapes and sizes of the first capacitance adjustment unit 21; along the thickness direction of the display panel, the area of the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 within the projection of the corresponding first cathode unit 161 is identical to the area of the third capacitance adjustment unit 21 within the projection of the corresponding first cathode unit 161. The areas of the capacitance adjustment units within the projection of the corresponding third cathode units 163 are different; the areas of the first capacitance adjustment units 21 within the projection of the corresponding isolation portions 17 are different from the areas of the third capacitance adjustment units within the projection of the corresponding isolation portions 17; the areas of the second capacitance adjustment units 22 within the projection of the corresponding second cathode units 162 are different from the areas of the third capacitance adjustment units within the projection of the corresponding third cathode units 163; and the areas of the second capacitance adjustment units 22 within the projection of the corresponding isolation portions 17 are different from the areas of the third capacitance adjustment units within the projection of the corresponding isolation portions 17. The function and operating principle of the third capacitance adjustment unit are similar to those of the second capacitance adjustment unit, that is, they can make the protrusions and tilts of the first color sub-pixel, the protrusions and tilts of the second color sub-pixel, and the protrusions and tilts of the third color sub-pixel caused by the capacitance adjustment layer similar, thereby making the light emission directions and angles of the first color sub-pixel and the second color sub-pixel similar, so that no obvious color shift occurs when the user views the image from different viewing angles. In addition, the sum of the capacitance connected to the cathode of the first color sub-pixel and the capacitance of the first color sub-pixel itself, the sum of the capacitance connected to the cathode of the second color sub-pixel and the capacitance of the second color sub-pixel itself, and the sum of the capacitance connected to the cathode of the third color sub-pixel and the capacitance of the third color sub-pixel can be made equal, thereby making the lighting processes of the first color sub-pixel, the second color sub-pixel, and the third color sub-pixel consistent, thereby avoiding color shift when the display panel is turned on.
[0071] Optionally, with continued reference to FIG. 1 , the isolation portion 17 corresponding to the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 and the isolation portion 17 corresponding to the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 are isolation portions located at different positions.
[0072] The isolation portion 17 corresponding to the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 also forms an isolation portion of the capacitance with the first capacitance adjustment unit 21. The isolation portion 17 corresponding to the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 also forms an isolation portion of the capacitance with the second capacitance adjustment unit 22. The arrangement of this embodiment makes the overall distribution of the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 and the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 in the capacitance adjustment layer more uniform, thereby making the protrusion and tilt of the first color sub-pixel caused by the capacitance adjustment layer more similar to the protrusion and tilt of the second color sub-pixel, making the light emission directions and angles of the first color sub-pixel and the second color sub-pixel more similar, further reducing the color shift caused by different viewing angles.
[0073] Optionally, with continued reference to FIG. 1 , the capacitance adjustment layer and the anode layer are provided in the same layer, that is, the capacitance adjustment layer and the anode layer are formed on the same layer.
[0074] The capacitance adjustment layer can be made of the same material as the anode layer. For example, when the anode layer is made of indium tin oxide, the capacitance adjustment layer is also made of indium tin oxide. Placing the capacitance adjustment layer and the anode layer in the same layer does not increase the overall thickness of the display panel.
[0075] Based on the above embodiment, the capacitance adjustment layer and the anode layer can optionally be formed using the same process. That is, the capacitance adjustment layer is formed simultaneously with the anode layer under the same film preparation process conditions. This configuration does not increase the process difficulty and process flow during display panel production, thereby helping to save costs.
[0076] In the above embodiment, although the capacitance adjustment layer and the anode layer are co-located, the corresponding capacitance adjustment unit is an independent structure from the corresponding anode unit 131. From a circuit structure perspective, the other plate of the capacitor connected to the sub-pixel cathode is left floating. However, since the capacitor is a passive device, it can still store charge when one end of the capacitor is left floating, thereby reducing the brightness of the corresponding sub-pixel when it is turned on.
[0077] In some other embodiments, as shown in FIG4 , FIG4 is a schematic diagram of the structure of another display panel provided in an embodiment of the present application. The first capacitance adjustment unit 21 or the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 is an integral structure with the corresponding anode unit 131. For example, the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 or the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 can be understood as an anode extension unit formed by extending the corresponding anode unit 131. In this arrangement, the other plate of the capacitor connected to the cathode of the sub-pixel is connected to the anode of the sub-pixel. The capacitor has no suspended plate and the working state is more stable. In the integrated structure, the definition of the anode unit 131 is the same as that of a conventional anode unit, that is, the portion centered on the portion exposed by the opening defined by the pixel defining portion 141 and extending a preset distance away from the opening can be understood as the anode unit, and the remaining portion can be understood as the capacitance adjustment unit; illustratively, in the direction from the center of the anode unit 131 to the edge of the anode unit 131, the width of the portion of the anode unit 131 covered by the pixel defining portion 141 is d1, and the spacing between the edges of adjacent openings is d2. The ratio of d1 to d2 is generally greater than or equal to 0 and less than 0.3. For example, if the spacing d2 between the edges of adjacent openings is 14 μm, the width d1 of the covered portion of the anode unit 131 can be 4.0 μm. The corresponding isolation portion 171 can be understood as the isolation portion 171 that overlaps with the projection of the integrated structure on the substrate 11.
[0078] When the display panel includes the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 , the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 may also be configured to be an integrated structure with the corresponding anode unit 131 .
[0079] In some other optional embodiments, as shown in FIG5 , FIG5 is a schematic diagram of the structure of another display panel provided in an embodiment of the present application. The capacitance adjustment layer is provided in the pixel defining layer. In this embodiment, the capacitance adjustment layer can be provided in a different layer from the anode layer. As shown in FIG6 , FIG6 is a schematic diagram of the structure of another display panel provided in an embodiment of the present application, the capacitance adjustment layer is located in the drive layer 12. For example, it can be provided between the planarization layer 125 and the source-drain electrode layer 124, or it can be provided in the same layer as the source-drain electrode layer 124, or it can be provided in other film layers of the drive layer 12.
[0080] Optionally, referring to Figure 2, along the direction parallel to the substrate 11, the distance D1 between one end of the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 close to the opening and the corresponding opening is different from the distance D2 between one end of the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 close to the corresponding opening and the corresponding opening.
[0081] In this embodiment, the opening corresponding to the capacitance adjustment unit is specifically: an opening having a cathode unit overlapping with the capacitance adjustment unit. Since the side surface of the pixel defining portion 141 facing the opening is an inclined surface, the inclination angles of the side surfaces of different pixel defining portions 141 facing the opening are the same, and the distances D1 and D2 are set to be different, so that the vertical distance between the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 and the corresponding first cathode unit 161 and the vertical distance between the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 and the corresponding second cathode unit 162 are different, thereby making the capacitance values of the formed unit area capacitance different. Due to the different unit area capacitance values, even when the overlapping area of the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 and the first cathode unit 161 is the same as the overlapping area of the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 and the second cathode unit 162, the capacitance values of the two can be different, thereby avoiding the second color sub-pixel and the first color sub-pixel having the same additional capacitance, resulting in different lighting speeds of the two color sub-pixels when they are turned on, that is, color cast still occurs.
[0082] Optionally, the distance D1 between the end of the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 close to the opening and the corresponding opening is the minimum distance or average distance between the end of the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 close to the opening and the opening; the distance D2 between the end of the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 close to the corresponding opening and the corresponding opening is the minimum distance or average distance between the end of the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 close to the opening and the corresponding opening.
[0083] Optionally, the first cathode unit 161 and the second cathode unit 162 are spaced apart. In this embodiment, the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 can be floating or electrically connected to the corresponding anode unit 131. Alternatively, the first cathode unit 161 and the second cathode unit 162 are spaced apart and electrically connected to each other. In this embodiment, the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 is electrically connected to the corresponding anode unit 131, and the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 is electrically connected to the corresponding anode unit 131.
[0084] In addition, multiple first capacitance adjustment units 21 are arranged to have the same shape and size, multiple second capacitance adjustment units 22 are arranged to have the same shape and size, and at least one of the shapes and sizes of the second capacitance adjustment units 22 and the first capacitance adjustment units 21 is the same. This can make the protrusion and tilt of the first color sub-pixel caused by the capacitance adjustment layer close to the protrusion and tilt of the second color sub-pixel, and further make the light emitting direction and angle of the first color sub-pixel and the second color sub-pixel close, so that there will be no obvious color deviation when the user watches at different viewing angles.
[0085] Optionally, continuing to refer to Figure 7, the display panel also includes an isolation portion 17, which is located on the pixel defining portion 141; multiple cathode units are arranged at intervals and in contact with the isolation portion 17; the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 also includes another portion located within the projection of the isolation portion 17 in contact with the corresponding first cathode unit 161; along the thickness direction of the display panel, another portion of the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 is located within the projection of the isolation portion 17 in contact with the second cathode unit 162.
[0086] Optionally, Figure 7 is a structural schematic diagram of another display panel provided in an embodiment of the present application. Referring to Figure 7, the light-emitting layer also includes a plurality of second color light-emitting structures 152, and each second color light-emitting structure 152 corresponds to an anode unit 131; the cathode unit also includes a second cathode unit 162 corresponding to the second color light-emitting structure 152; the capacitance adjustment layer also includes a second capacitance adjustment unit 22 corresponding to the second cathode unit 162; along the thickness direction of the display panel, at least part of the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 is located within the projection of the corresponding second cathode unit 162; along the thickness direction of the display panel, the maximum distance between the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 and the first cathode unit 161 is different from the maximum distance between the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 and the second cathode unit 162.
[0087] In this embodiment, by setting different distances (the maximum distance between the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 and the first cathode unit 161, and the maximum distance between the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 and the second cathode unit 162), the distances between the plates corresponding to the two capacitors are different, and thus the two capacitances are different. This prevents the second color sub-pixel and the first color sub-pixel from having the same additional capacitance, resulting in different lighting speeds when the two color sub-pixels are turned on, that is, color cast. The capacitance adjustment unit is arranged parallel to the plane of the substrate 11.
[0088] Optionally, the first cathode unit 161 and the second cathode unit 162 are spaced apart.
[0089] In addition, multiple first capacitance adjustment units 21 are arranged to have the same shape and size, multiple second capacitance adjustment units 22 are arranged to have the same shape and size, and the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 is arranged to have the same shape and at least one of the sizes as the first capacitance adjustment unit 21.
[0090] Optionally, continuing to refer to Figure 7, the display panel also includes an isolation portion 17, which is located on the pixel defining portion 141; multiple cathode units are arranged at intervals and in contact with the isolation portion 17; the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 also includes another portion located within the projection of the isolation portion 17 in contact with the corresponding first cathode unit 161; along the thickness direction of the display panel, another portion of the second capacitance adjustment unit 22 is located within the projection of the isolation portion 17 in contact with the second cathode unit 162.

[0102] The present application also provides a method for manufacturing a display panel. FIG8 is a flow chart of the method for manufacturing a display panel provided in the present application. FIG9 is a schematic diagram of a product formed in the main steps of the method for manufacturing a display panel provided in the present application. In combination with FIG8 and FIG9 , the method for manufacturing a display panel includes:
[0103] Step S101, providing a substrate 11;
[0104] The substrate 11 may be, for example, a glass or polyimide substrate.
[0105] Step S102: forming a driving layer 12, an anode layer, a pixel defining layer, and a capacitance adjustment layer on a substrate 11; wherein the anode layer includes a plurality of anode units 131 spaced apart from each other, and the pixel defining layer includes a pixel defining portion 141 and an opening defined by the pixel defining portion 141, wherein the opening exposes the anode units;
[0106] The driving layer 12 may include a stacked active layer 121, a gate layer 122, an interlayer dielectric layer 123, a source-drain electrode layer 124, and a planarization layer 125; the driving layer 12 may also include a metal layer for setting data lines and power signal lines. A buffer layer (not shown) may also be included between the driving layer 12 and the substrate 11. The driving layer 12 may be formed by evaporation, etching, etc. The anode layer is formed after the driving layer, and the pixel defining layer is formed after the anode layer. The capacitance adjustment layer can be formed when the driving layer is formed, can be formed when the anode layer is formed, that is, formed in the same layer as the anode layer, or can be formed in the process of forming the pixel defining layer. The anode layer and the capacitance adjustment layer are formed on the driving layer 12 using the same film layer preparation process.
[0107] Step S103: A light-emitting layer and a cathode layer are sequentially formed on the anode unit 131. The light-emitting layer includes a plurality of first-color light-emitting structures 151, each corresponding to an anode unit 131. The cathode layer includes a plurality of cathode units, each including a first cathode unit 161 corresponding to the first-color light-emitting structure 151. The capacitance adjustment layer includes a first capacitance adjustment unit 21 corresponding to the first cathode unit 161. At least a portion of the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 is located within the projection of the corresponding first cathode unit 161 along the thickness direction of the display panel. Optionally, at least some of the cathode units are insulated from each other. Alternatively, the cathode layer is a monolithic conductive structure, with the first capacitance adjustment unit 21 electrically connected to the corresponding anode unit 131.
[0108] The sub-pixels of this embodiment can be formed by photolithography. For example, the first color sub-pixels are first formed on the entire surface, and then the first color sub-pixels in the corresponding areas of the second color sub-pixels and the third color sub-pixels are etched away by photolithography; the second color sub-pixels are then formed on the entire surface, and then the second color sub-pixels in the corresponding areas of the first color sub-pixels and the third color sub-pixels are etched away; the third color sub-pixels are then formed on the entire surface, and then the third color sub-pixels in the corresponding areas of the first color sub-pixels and the second color sub-pixels are etched away.
[0109] In the display panel prepared by the preparation method provided in this embodiment, the first capacitor adjustment unit 21 can overlap with the corresponding first cathode unit 161 to form a capacitor structure, which is equivalent to connecting an additional capacitor to the cathode of the first color light-emitting structure 151, that is, it is equivalent to increasing the capacitance of the first color sub-pixel, thereby reducing the brightness of the first color sub-pixel when it is turned on, thereby avoiding the situation where the screen is biased towards the first color when dragging when the display panel is turned on.
[0110] Optionally, the capacitance adjustment layer and the anode layer are provided in the same layer.
[0111] Forming a driving layer 12, an anode layer, a pixel defining layer and a capacitance adjustment layer on a substrate 11 includes:
[0112] forming a driving layer 12 on a substrate 11;
[0113] An anode layer and a capacitance adjustment layer are formed on the driving layer 12 using the same film preparation process;
[0114] A pixel defining layer is formed.
[0115] After forming the driving layer 12, the capacitance adjustment layer and the anode layer can be formed simultaneously through the same film preparation process. The capacitance adjustment layer can be made of the same material as the anode layer. For example, when the anode layer is indium tin oxide, the capacitance adjustment layer is also formed using indium tin oxide. The capacitance adjustment layer is arranged on the same layer as the anode layer, for example, the capacitance adjustment layer is part of the anode layer. Such an arrangement does not increase the overall thickness of the display panel. In addition, the capacitance adjustment layer includes multiple capacitance adjustment units, and each capacitance adjustment unit and the corresponding anode unit 131 can also be an integrated structure.
[0116] The present application also provides a display device, as shown in FIG10 , which is a schematic diagram of the structure of a display device provided by an embodiment of the present application. The display device can be a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a Moving Picture Experts Group Audio Layer 3 (MP3), a Moving Picture Experts Group Audio Layer 4 (MP4), a smart watch, a smart bracelet, a personal digital assistant, a smart helmet, or other wearable devices. Because it includes the display panel provided by any embodiment of the present application, it also has the same effect, and no further details are given here.
[0117] It should be understood that the various forms of the processes shown above can be used to reorder, add, or delete steps.
