Abstract
Description
A radio frequency coaxial connector Technical Field
[0001] The present application relates to the technical field of radio frequency connectors, and in particular to a radio frequency coaxial connector. Background Art
[0002] RF coaxial connectors are indispensable and critical electromechanical components in radio electronic systems, electronic equipment, and instrumentation. They not only serve as mechanical connections, but also ensure the smooth transmission of electromagnetic signals and electromagnetic energy.
[0003] In the prior art, the front shell and the rear shell of the RF coaxial connector are connected by threads. During installation, the front shell is first removed, the cable is inserted, and then the front shell and the rear shell are tightened. However, the internal structure of the existing RF coaxial cable connector is complex, the production and assembly efficiency is low, and the quality stability during mass production is poor. In addition, the connection reliability and coaxiality of the existing RF coaxial cable connector are still insufficient. The inner conductor is prone to rotation during the assembly process, thereby deteriorating the electrical performance of the RF connector. In addition, the sizes of cables of the same specification vary. When connected to the cable, the clamping cable is tight or loose, causing changes in inductance and capacitance, and discontinuity, affecting the electrical performance of the RF connector, and it is easy to cause relative sliding or loosening. In addition, the inner conductor of the cable to be connected cannot be in close contact with the inner conductor of the connector, and the anti-vibration effect is poor. The electrical performance of the connector is often unstable due to the influence of environmental factors such as vibration on site.

[0016] The beneficial effects that this application can achieve.
[0017] The present application provides a radio frequency coaxial connector, which can be of N type or DIN type, pin type or jack type. The inner core is omitted in the cable fixing structure, and a first conical surface is provided at the end step of the rear end of the outer conductor to replace the function of the inner core, and the inner conductor and the outer conductor are divided into two sections, front and back. The outer conductor has a longer space to accommodate the cable to be connected, so that the cable is fixed more firmly and not easy to slide or loosen relative to each other; the connector includes a clamp and a cable fixing sleeve inside, the clamp is provided on the inner side of the front end of the second inner conductor, and a second conical surface is provided on the inner side of the front end of the clamp. The first conical surface and the second conical surface are adapted to each other, and after the cable to be connected is connected, the first conical surface and the second conical surface are in contact and pressed tightly, and the outer diameter of the clamp with more than two turns in the present application is gradually enlarged, which not only improves the cable tensile strength and intermodulation performance of the connector but also ensures the coaxiality of the connector and the cable. In addition, compared with the same design of multiple clamps, it is more convenient to install the cable to be connected, and it will not increase much resistance during cable installation, and it is not easy to cause damage to the clamp or deformation of the inner conductor of the cable. This fixing form and the structural design of the clamp in the present application make the cable connection more secure, and significantly improve the cable's standard gauge retention, mechanical durability, bending resistance, tensile strength, strength of the connection mechanism, and endurance distance. In addition, the elastic claws provided at the rear end of the inner conductor can effectively contact the inner conductor of the cable to be connected, and will not cause deformation of the inner conductor of the cable, thereby ensuring good electrical performance. In addition, the present application adopts an assembly method that can be installed using only two wrenches, so it can be suitable for field installation operations. At the same time, the design of at least two circles of clamps makes it extremely compatible with 1-1 / 4" ring cables produced by different cable manufacturers.
[0018] In this application, the knurling design between the first inner conductor and the second inner conductor, the knurling design between the second inner conductor and the insulator, and the barb design between the first outer conductor and the insulator ensure that the insulator does not shift after installation, and that the inner conductor does not rotate, thereby avoiding the deterioration of the electrical performance of the RF connector due to the rotation of components during the installation process.
[0019] In this application, annular grooves are provided on the second and third conical surfaces. The C-shaped open clamp at the front end engages with the troughs of the cable's outer conductor, while the C-shaped open clamp at the front end supports the crests of the cable's outer conductor against the first conical surface. The first conical surface and the C-shaped open clamp jointly clamp the cable's outer conductor. The annular grooves act as an anti-slip device, increasing friction and making the entire connector more secure. This prevents relative slippage or loosening, thereby improving the connector's mechanical and electrical performance.

[0037] To address the problems of the existing connectors in the prior art, such as the complex internal structure and low production and assembly efficiency, the inner conductor is prone to rotation during assembly, which deteriorates the electrical performance of the RF connector. Furthermore, cables of the same specification vary in size, and when connected to the cable, the cable clamping may be tight or loose, causing changes in inductance and capacitance, and discontinuities, affecting the electrical performance of the RF connector, and easily causing relative slippage or loosening. Furthermore, the inner conductor of the cable to be connected cannot be in close contact with the inner conductor of the connector, resulting in poor vibration resistance. Often, due to the influence of environmental factors such as vibration on site, the electrical performance of the connector is unstable.

[0039] The present application provides a radio frequency coaxial connector, which can be of N-type or DIN-type, pin-type or jack-type. The inner core is omitted from the cable fixing structure, and a first conical surface is provided at the end step of the rear end of the outer conductor to replace the function of the inner core. The inner conductor and the outer conductor are divided into two sections, front and back. The outer conductor has a longer space to accommodate the cable to be connected, so that the cable is fixed more firmly and not easy to slide or loosen relative to each other. The connector includes a clamp and a cable fixing sleeve. In the present application, the outer diameter of the clamp with more than two turns gradually increases, which not only improves the cable tensile strength and intermodulation performance of the connector but also ensures the coaxiality of the connector and the cable. In addition, compared with the same design of multiple clamps, it is more convenient to install the cable to be connected. It does not increase much resistance during cable installation and is not easy to cause damage to the clamp or deformation of the inner conductor of the cable. This fixing form and the structural design of the clamp in the present application make the cable connection more secure, and significantly improve the cable's standard gauge retention, mechanical durability, bending resistance, tensile strength, strength of the connection mechanism, and endurance distance. The frontmost C-shaped open clamp supports the crests of the cable's outer conductor and tightly adheres to the first conical surface. The first conical surface and the C-shaped open clamp jointly clamp the cable's outer conductor. The annular grooves act as an anti-slip device, increasing friction and making the entire connector more secure. This prevents relative slippage or loosening, thereby improving the connector's mechanical and electrical performance.

[0044] Example 1
[0045] The present application provides an N-type jack RF coaxial connector for connecting to a 1-1 / 4" ring cable. As shown in FIG1 , the structure of the connector in this embodiment is described according to the front-to-back direction of the coordinates marked in FIG1 (the same below), with the outer conductor at the front end and the cable fixing sleeve at the rear end. The connector includes a first inner conductor 1, a second inner conductor 2, a first outer conductor 3, a second outer conductor 4, and a cable fixing sleeve 5 installed at the rear end of the second outer conductor 4. The first inner conductor 1 and the second inner conductor 2 are both arranged on the central axis of the connector. The outer side of the rear end of the first inner conductor 1 is circumferentially provided with straight knurling. The front end of the second inner conductor 2 is provided with a first fixing hole. The rear end of the first inner conductor 1 is press-fitted into the first fixing hole through an interference fit to securely connect the first inner conductor 1 and the second inner conductor 2. The rear end of the second inner conductor 2 is riveted with an elastic claw 6, which is press-fitted firmly and ensures stability. The outer diameter of the front end of the elastic claw 6 is larger than the rear end. When the connector is installed on the cable, the elastic claw 6 is inserted into the inner conductor of the cable and effectively contacts the inner conductor without causing deformation of the inner conductor, thereby ensuring good electrical performance.
[0046] As shown in Figure 1 , the elastic claw 6 includes a fixed portion 7 and multiple elastic portions 8. The fixed portion 7 is riveted to the rear end of the second inner conductor 2. One end of the elastic portion 8 is fixedly connected to the fixed portion 7. The multiple elastic portions 8 are evenly spaced along the circumference of the fixed portion 7. The elastic portion 8 is divided into a first elastic segment 9 and a second elastic segment 10. One end of the first elastic segment 9 is connected to the fixed portion 7, and the other end is inclined outward from the central axis and connected to the second elastic segment 10. The second elastic segment 10 is in the shape of an arc that bulges outward from the central axis.
[0047] In this embodiment, the elastic portion 8 may be an elastic strip comprising a first elastic segment 9 and a second elastic segment 10 connected in sequence. The first elastic segments 9 of the multiple elastic portions 8 form a first tapered surface along the circumference of the elastic claw 6. The second elastic segment 10 is shaped like an arc, curving first outward and then inward. The convex arc shape of the second elastic segment 10 of the elastic portion 8 provides the elastic claw 6 with excellent elastic properties, ensuring close contact with the cable's inner conductor.
[0048] The front end of the first inner conductor 1 is provided with a socket 17, and the rear end is provided with straight knurling on the outer circumference. The socket 17 is used to insert a male connector (pin) when connecting to another connector. The circumferential sidewall of the socket is provided with four to eight slots. This allows for a certain expansion of the socket diameter within a certain allowable range, thereby facilitating pin insertion. For example, in some embodiments, the number of slots may be four, five, six, seven, or eight.
[0049] The outer conductors include a first outer conductor 3 and a second outer conductor 4. The rear end of the first outer conductor 3 is threadedly connected to the front end of the second outer conductor 4. A threaded area 11 is designed on the outer wall of the front end of the first outer conductor 3 for threaded connection with another connector. The inner side of the first outer conductor 3 is generally stepped.
[0050] The insulator 12 is disposed between the first outer conductor 3 and the second inner conductor 2, and is used to support and secure the inner conductor and insulate the inner conductor from the first outer conductor 3. A circle of positioning protrusions 13 is provided on the outer circumference of the second inner conductor 2. The front end of the insulator 12 is positioned by a step on the inner side of the first outer conductor 3, and the rear end of the insulator 12 is limited by the positioning protrusions 13 on the outer circumference of the second inner conductor 2, thereby limiting and securing the insulator 12. An inwardly facing recessed groove 15 and a first tapered surface 16 are provided at the end step 14 at the rear end of the first outer conductor 3. The first tapered surface 16 is formed on the side wall of the recessed groove 15 adjacent to the central axis of the connector, and in the direction from the first outer conductor 3 to the second inner conductor 2 (i.e., from the front to the back in FIG. 1 ), the first tapered surface 16 gradually approaches the central axis of the connector.
[0051] As shown in Figure 2, a circular through-hole 18 is provided at the center of the insulator 12 to match the second inner conductor 2. The second inner conductor 2 is disposed within the circular through-hole 18 and has an interference fit with the insulator 12. The outer side surface of the insulator 12 also has an interference fit with the inner wall step of the first outer conductor 3. Several blind holes 19 are provided on one side of the front and rear sides of the insulator 12, and the same number of blind holes 19 are provided on the other side of the insulator 12. The blind holes 19 on both sides of the insulator 12 are arranged along the axis of the insulator 12. The blind holes 19 on each side are evenly spaced along the circumference of the insulator 12, and the blind holes 19 on both sides are staggered. For example, in this embodiment, the staggered arrangement of three blind holes on each end surface of the insulator 12 can effectively reduce the dielectric constant of the insulator and increase the frequency of use of the connector.
[0052] In some embodiments, knurling can be provided on the outer surface of the second inner conductor 2 where it connects to the insulator 12. This effectively prevents the second inner conductor 2 from rotating or shifting after being installed with the insulator 12. Barbs are provided on at least a portion of the inner wall steps of the first outer conductor 3 to prevent displacement after the insulator is installed.
[0053] The front end outer wall of the second outer conductor 4 is provided with an external thread, and the rear end inner wall of the first outer conductor 3 is provided with an internal thread. The front end of the second outer conductor 4 is fixed to the rear end inner side of the first outer conductor 3 via a threaded connection. A first step 20 is provided at the rear end of the area where the second outer conductor 4 and the first outer conductor 3 are threadedly connected. A second step 21 is provided on the inner wall of the first outer conductor 3 in a corresponding manner. A first seal 22 is provided in the space enclosed by the first and second steps 20, 21. The first seal 22 seals the threaded connection between the first and second outer conductors 3, 4, preventing rainwater from seeping into the connector through the gap.
[0054] A third step 23 is provided on the inner side of the rear end of the second outer conductor 4. The front end of the cable gland 5 is externally threaded, while the rear end of the second outer conductor 4 is internally threaded. The front end of the cable gland 5 is threadedly secured to the inner side of the rear end of the second outer conductor 4. A second seal 24 is provided on the third step 23. During threaded engagement of the cable gland 5 with the second outer conductor 4, the front end of the cable gland 5 presses against the second seal 24, sealing the threaded connection and preventing rainwater from seeping into the connector through the gap. The rear end of the cable gland 5 extends beyond the second outer conductor 4. The inner sidewall of the second outer conductor 4, from front to rear, comprises a first step 25 and a second step 26. Once the cable gland 5 is secured to the interior of the second outer conductor 4, the inner sidewall of the cable gland 5, located near the connector's central axis, is flush with the second step 26.
[0055] The front end of the first stepped surface 25 is provided with a mounting groove 27, into which the C-shaped split clamp 28 is mounted. As shown in the partially enlarged view in FIG3 , the C-shaped split clamp 28 is annular in shape, with an arc-shaped protrusion on the outside (i.e., C-shaped), and two conical surfaces on the inside, comprising a curved bottom surface 31 and two inwardly inclined second and third conical surfaces 29 and 30. The second and third conical surfaces 29 and 30 are each provided with a plurality of parallel annular grooves 32 with semicircular cross-sections along the circumference of the C-shaped split clamp 28. The second conical surface 29 cooperates with the first conical surface 16 at the end step 14 of the rear end of the first outer conductor 3. When connecting the cable to be connected, when the second outer conductor 4 is installed on the inner side of the rear end of the first outer conductor 3, as the second outer conductor 4 rotates forward, the second conical surface 29 of the C-shaped open clamp 28 contacts and presses against the first conical surface 16. The C-shaped open clamp is clamped into the trough of the cable outer conductor. The C-shaped open clamp supports the crest of the cable outer conductor and is tightly attached to the first conical surface 16. The first conical surface 16 and the C-shaped open clamp jointly clamp the cable outer conductor, so that the C-shaped open clamp 28 firmly fixes the outer conductor of the cable to be connected, thereby firmly fixing the cable to be connected. At the same time, the annular grooves 32 on the second conical surface 29 and the third conical surface 30 have an anti-slip effect, increasing friction, making the entire connector more firmly fixed and not easy to slide or loosen relative to each other, thereby improving the mechanical and electrical properties of the connector. This fixing form and the structural design of the C-shaped opening clamp 28 make the cable connection more secure, and significantly improve the cable's standard gauge retention, mechanical durability, bending resistance, tensile strength, connection mechanism strength and endurance distance.
[0056] In some embodiments, two or more mounting grooves 27 are provided on the first step surface 25, and a C-shaped open clamp 28 is provided in each mounting groove 27. Specifically, a first mounting groove is provided at the front end of the first step surface 25, and the first C-shaped open clamp 28 is provided in the first mounting groove. The second conical surface provided on the inner side of the front end of the first C-shaped open clamp 28 cooperates with the first conical surface. The second conical surface of the first C-shaped open clamp 28 can contact and press against the first conical surface when the second outer conductor is installed to the inner side of the rear end of the first outer conductor.
[0057] In the RF coaxial connector of the present application, during the manufacturing process, the insulator is first pressed onto the second inner conductor 2, and then the first inner conductor 1 and the second inner conductor 2 are press-fitted together, and the elastic claw 6 is riveted at the rear end, and then the insulator and inner conductor assembly is pressed into the first outer conductor 3, and the insulator 12 is positioned by the step in the first outer conductor 3 and the positioning protrusion 13 on the second inner conductor 2, and then the second outer conductor 4 and the C-shaped open clamp 28 are installed at the rear end of the first outer conductor 3. After the second outer conductor 4 and the first outer conductor 3 are threadedly installed, the second tapered surface 29 on the C-shaped open clamp 28 can abut the first tapered surface 16, and finally, the cable fixing sleeve 5 is threadedly installed on the second outer conductor 4.
[0058] Example 2
[0059] In this second embodiment, to improve the electrical and mechanical performance of the connector after connection to the cable, further improvements have been made to the C-shaped split clamp 28 and mounting structure. As shown in Figure 4, the first stepped surface 25 of the second outer conductor 4 is configured as an inclined surface with a higher front and a lower rear. One or more mounting grooves 27 are provided on the first stepped surface 25, and all of the mounting grooves 27 have the same width and depth. One or more C-shaped split clamps 28 are sequentially installed within these mounting grooves 27. From front to back, the positions of the mounting grooves 27 gradually move outward in the radial direction of the second outer conductor 4, and the outer diameters of the corresponding C-shaped split clamps 28 increase from front to back.
[0060] For example, in this embodiment, the first stepped surface 25 is configured as an inclined surface that is higher in the front and lower in the back. Three mounting grooves 27 are provided on the first stepped surface 25, namely, from front to back, the first mounting groove, the second mounting groove, and the third mounting groove. The three mounting grooves have the same width and depth. A C-shaped open clamp 28 is provided in each mounting groove 27, namely, from front to back, the first C-shaped open clamp, the second C-shaped open clamp, and the third C-shaped open clamp. The first, second, and third mounting grooves are positioned away from the central axis of the connector, and the outer diameters of the corresponding first, second, and third C-shaped open clamps increase in sequence.
[0061] During the process of connecting the cable, the connector in this embodiment is clamped in the first trough at the front end of the outer conductor of the cable. The first C-shaped open clamp supports the crest of the outer conductor of the cable to be tightly attached to the first conical surface 16. The first conical surface 16 and the first C-shaped open clamp jointly clamp the outer conductor of the cable, thereby fixing the cable and ensuring that the conical surface of the outer conductor of the connector is supported. The second C-shaped open clamp is supported in the second trough of the outer conductor of the cable, wrapping the crest of the cable, increasing the contact area between the connector and the outer conductor of the cable, and improving the intermodulation performance. The third C-shaped open clamp is supported in the third trough of the outer conductor of the cable, wrapping the crest of the cable or the third C-shaped open clamp wraps the cable sheath, increasing friction. The third-shaped open clamp further improves the connector's ability to resist the tensile strength of the cable. The outer diameter of the three-circle C-shaped open clamp gradually increases, which not only improves the cable tensile strength and intermodulation performance of the connector, but also ensures the coaxiality of the connector and cable. In addition, compared with the same design of three clamps, it is more convenient to install the cables to be connected. It does not increase significant resistance during cable installation and is not likely to cause damage to the clamp or deformation of the conductor in the cable.
[0062] In other embodiments, the first stepped surface 25 can be designed to remain parallel to the central axis of the connector, and the at least one mounting groove 27 on the first stepped surface 25 can be designed to have a uniform width and gradually increase in depth from front to back. This allows the diameters of the C-shaped split clamps 28 placed in the mounting grooves 27 to gradually increase from front to back. For example, in some embodiments, the first stepped surface 25 is designed to be parallel to the connector axis, and three mounting grooves 27 are provided on the first stepped surface 25: a first mounting groove, a second mounting groove, and a third mounting groove. These three grooves have the same width and increase in depth from front to back. Each mounting groove 27 contains a C-shaped split clamp 28: a first C-shaped split clamp, a second C-shaped split clamp, and a third C-shaped split clamp. The depths of the first, second, and third mounting grooves increase sequentially, and the outer diameters of the corresponding first, second, and third C-shaped split clamps increase sequentially.
[0063] With this clamp design, on the one hand, the first C-shaped opening is stuck in the first trough at the front end of the connecting cable, and the first C-shaped opening clamp and the first conical surface 16 cooperate to press the outer conductor of the cable to be connected. On the other hand, the second C-shaped opening clamp and the third C-shaped opening clamp are further stuck in the trough of the outer conductor of the cable or the third C-shaped opening clamp at the back wraps the cable sheath. On the one hand, it helps to strengthen the fixation of the outer conductor of the cable, improves the connector's ability to resist cable stretching, and improves the intermodulation performance. On the other hand, compared with the same design of three clamps, it is more convenient for the installation of the cable to be connected, and will not increase much resistance during cable installation, avoiding damage to the clamp or deformation of the inner conductor of the cable, while ensuring the coaxiality of the connector and the cable.

[0065] Example 3
[0066] Compared to Example 1, in this third embodiment, to improve the electrical and mechanical performance of the connector after connection to the cable, further improvements are made to the C-shaped split clamp 28 and mounting structure. As shown in Figure 5, in this embodiment, the first stepped surface 25 is still designed to be parallel to the connector axis. The at least one mounting groove 27 on the first stepped surface 25 can be designed with a gradually decreasing internal volume. In this way, the outer diameter of the C-shaped split clamp 28 placed in the mounting groove 27 from front to back remains unchanged, but the volume gradually decreases. For example, in some embodiments, the first stepped surface 25 is designed to be parallel to the connector axis. The first stepped surface 25 is provided with three mounting grooves 27, namely, the first mounting groove, the second mounting groove, and the third mounting groove from front to back. The volumes of the three mounting grooves gradually decrease, and each mounting groove 27 is provided with a C-shaped split clamp 28, namely, the first C-shaped split clamp, the second C-shaped split clamp, and the third C-shaped split clamp from front to back. The volumes of the first mounting groove, the second mounting groove and the third mounting groove decrease in sequence, and the volumes of the corresponding first C-shaped open clamp, the second C-shaped open clamp and the third C-shaped open clamp decrease in sequence.
[0067] With this clamp design, on the one hand, the first C-shaped opening is stuck in the first trough at the front end of the connecting cable, and the first C-shaped opening clamp and the first conical surface 16 cooperate to press the outer conductor of the cable to be connected. On the other hand, the second C-shaped opening clamp and the third C-shaped opening clamp are further stuck in the trough of the outer conductor of the cable or the third C-shaped opening clamp at the back wraps the cable sheath. On the one hand, it helps to strengthen the fixation of the outer conductor of the cable, improves the connector's ability to resist cable stretching, and improves intermodulation performance. On the other hand, compared with the same design of three clamps, it is more convenient for the installation of the cable to be connected. It will not increase much resistance during cable installation, avoids damage to the clamp or deformation of the inner conductor of the cable, and at the same time ensures the coaxiality of the connector and the cable.
[0068] For other contents of this embodiment 3, please refer to the description in embodiment 1, which will not be repeated here.
[0069] Example 4
[0070] Compared to Example 1, in this fourth embodiment, the C-shaped split clamp 28 and mounting structure are further improved to enhance the electrical and mechanical performance of the connector after connection to the cable. As shown in Figure 6, the C-shaped split clamp 28 is tapered and spiral. The first stepped surface 25 of the second outer conductor 4 is configured as an inclined surface with a higher front and a lower rear. A spirally continuous mounting groove 27 is provided on the first stepped surface 25, and the mounting groove 27 has a uniform width and depth. A tapered, spiral C-shaped split clamp 28 is installed within the spirally continuous mounting groove 27. The mounting groove 27 is positioned gradually away from the center axis of the connector from front to back, and the outer diameter of the corresponding C-shaped split clamp 28 increases gradually from front to back, forming a tapered, enlarged shape.
[0071] For example, in this embodiment, the C-shaped open clamp 28 is arranged in three circles that gradually increase in size from front to back. The first circle is clamped in the trough at the front end of the cable, which serves to fix the cable and ensure that it supports the conical surface of the connector outer conductor. The second circle is clamped in the cable trough, wrapping around the cable crest, increasing the contact area between the connector and the cable outer conductor, and improving intermodulation performance. The third circle is still clamped in the cable trough, wrapping around the cable crest, increasing the tensile strength, or wrapping around the cable sheath, increasing friction, and improving the connector's resistance to cable stretch. The three circles have gradually increasing outer diameters. On the one hand, this helps strengthen the fixation of the cable outer conductor, improves the connector's resistance to cable stretch, and improves intermodulation performance. On the other hand, compared with designs with the same diameter, it is more convenient to install the cables to be connected. The cable installation does not increase significant resistance, avoids damage to the clamp or deformation of the cable inner conductor, and ensures the coaxiality of the connector and cable.
[0072] For other contents of this embodiment 4, please refer to the description in embodiment 1, which will not be repeated here.
[0073] Example 5
[0074] In Example 5, an N-type pin RF coaxial connector is provided, as shown in FIG7 . The difference between Example 5 and Example 1 is that the front end is an N-type pin structure. Specifically, the front end of the first inner conductor 1 is a pin, and further includes a screw sleeve 33 arranged on the outer side wall of the front end of the first outer conductor 3, and a threaded area 11 is arranged on the inner side of the screw sleeve 33. Specifically, the front end of the first outer conductor 3 is provided with a step-shaped protrusion 34, and the step-shaped protrusion 34 surrounds the pin at the front end of the first inner conductor 1. A sealing gasket 35 is also provided between the screw sleeve 33 and the first outer conductor 3. The sealing gasket 35 is located between the screw sleeve 33 and the outer step of the step-shaped protrusion 34, and plays a sealing role to prevent rainwater from seeping into the internal space of the connector. In addition, the sealing gasket 35 has a larger area than an ordinary sealing ring, and is less likely to flip over during the installation of the cable, thereby maintaining good sealing performance. When this connector is connected to the connection end of another connector, the connector of the other connector presses against the sealing gasket 35. After the male and female connectors are tightened, the sealing gasket 35 is deformed by the force, thus providing a waterproof effect. A snap ring 36 is also provided on the outer side of the first outer conductor 3. A first snap ring groove 37 is provided on the outer side wall of the first outer conductor 3, and a second snap ring groove 38 is correspondingly provided on the inner side wall of the threaded sleeve 33. The first snap ring groove 37 and the second snap ring groove 38 together form an installation space for the snap ring 36. The snap ring 36 movably mounts the threaded sleeve 33 to the front end of the first outer conductor 3 (here, the end of the inner conductor with the pin is the front end, the same below). By providing the snap ring 36 on the outer conductor, the threaded sleeve 33 is adapted to be mounted on the outer side wall of the first outer conductor 3 through the second snap ring groove 38 and the snap ring 36, thereby facilitating the installation of the threaded sleeve 33. The remaining contents are the same as those in Example 1 and will not be described in detail here.
[0075] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG8 , the same design principles as those described in Example 2 are employed. To enhance the electrical and mechanical performance of the connector and cable after connection, further improvements are made to the C-shaped split clamp 28 and mounting structure. For details, see Example 2 and will not be described in detail here.
[0076] In some embodiments, the C-shaped opening clamp 28 and the mounting structure can be further improved as in the designs of Examples 3-4, with reference to Figures 9 and 6. For details, refer to Examples 3-4 and will not be described in detail here.
[0077] Example 6
[0078] As shown in Figure 10, Example 6 proposes a DIN-type pin RF coaxial connector. The difference between Example 6 and Example 1 is that the DIN-type pin structure in this embodiment also includes a screw sleeve 33 disposed on the outer side wall of the front end of the first outer conductor 3, with a threaded area 11 disposed on the inner side of the screw sleeve 33. Specifically, a first snap ring groove 37 is disposed on the outer side wall of the first outer conductor 3, and a second snap ring groove 38 is correspondingly disposed on the inner side wall of the screw sleeve 33. The first snap ring groove 37 and the second snap ring groove 38 together form an installation space for a snap ring 36. The snap ring 36 movably mounts the screw sleeve 33 to the front end of the first outer conductor 3 (here, the end of the inner conductor with the pin is the front end, the same below). By providing the snap ring 36 on the outer conductor, the screw sleeve 33 is mounted on the outer side wall of the first outer conductor 3 through the second snap ring groove 38, thereby facilitating the installation of the screw sleeve 33. A third seal 39 is also provided between the first outer conductor 3 and the screw sleeve 33. When the connector is connected to the connection end of another connector, the connector of the other connector presses against the third seal 39. After the male and female connectors are tightened, the third seal 39 is deformed by the force, thereby providing a waterproof effect. The remaining details are the same as those in Example 1 and will not be described in detail here.
[0079] In some embodiments, as shown in FIG11 , the same design principles as those described in Example 2 are employed. To enhance the electrical and mechanical performance of the connector and cable after connection, further improvements are made to the C-shaped split clamp 28 and mounting structure. For details, see Example 2 and will not be described in detail here.
[0080] In some embodiments, the C-shaped opening clamp 28 and the mounting structure can be further improved as in the designs of Examples 3-4, with reference to Figures 12 and 6. For details, refer to Examples 3-4 and will not be described in detail here.
