Abstract
Description
Method for generating inventory support information and electronic device therefor
[0001] The present invention relates to a method for assigning workers to each chamber of a logistics center and an electronic device therefor, and more particularly, to a method for determining the number of workers to be assigned to each chamber based on the recommended order quantity and available capacity of each chamber on a reference date and an electronic device therefor.
[0002] As internet use becomes more widespread, the e-commerce market is expanding. In e-commerce, transactions take place online through networks, and products purchased in these markets are delivered to the customer's designated delivery address via a delivery service.
[0003] In order to respond more quickly to customer delivery requests, the logistics management system can order a certain quantity of goods through a logistics center, receive the ordered goods, store them in the logistics center, and then, when a buyer requests delivery, ship the goods from the logistics center and deliver them to the buyer through a delivery person.
[0004] To achieve this, logistics centers have multiple chambers, and the storage chambers are determined based on the product's characteristics. Furthermore, each chamber requires workers to manage the incoming and outgoing shipments, such as displaying incoming items and packaging and shipping customer orders to ensure proper delivery. Since the number of workers available on any given day is limited, it's crucial to efficiently allocate available workers to each chamber.
[0005] In this regard, reference may be made to prior literature such as KR 10-1827482 B1 and KR 10-2415235 B1.
[0006] According to the method of the present invention, an electronic device providing a method for allocating workers in a logistics center can efficiently allocate workers by determining the number of workers to be allocated to each chamber by considering the recommended order quantity of each chamber of the logistics center, the available capacity of each chamber, and the number of available workers.
[0007] The technical problems to be achieved in the present invention are not limited to the technical problems mentioned above, and other technical problems not mentioned can be clearly understood by a person having ordinary skill in the technical field to which the present invention belongs from the description below.
[0008] In order to achieve the above-described task, a method for generating stocking support information in an electronic device according to one embodiment of the present invention is characterized by including the steps of: confirming a recommended order quantity for each of a plurality of chambers of a logistics center at a reference point in time; confirming an available capacity of each of the plurality of chambers at the reference point in time; confirming the number of available workers of the logistics center at the reference point in time; and determining a number of workers to be assigned to each of the plurality of chambers based on the recommended order quantity for each of the plurality of chambers, the available capacity of each of the plurality of chambers, and the number of available workers.
[0009] In one embodiment, the goods received into the logistics center are characterized in that they correspond to one of the plurality of chambers according to the characteristics of the goods.
[0010] In one embodiment, the available capacity of each of the plurality of chambers is characterized in that it is confirmed based on information about the total product capacity of each of the plurality of chambers, information about the current product inventory of each of the plurality of chambers, and information about the expected delivery amount of each of the plurality of chambers up to the reference point in time.
[0011] In one embodiment, the method further comprises the step of determining an initial capacity limit of each of the plurality of chambers, wherein the initial capacity limit of each of the plurality of chambers is determined to be a smaller value among the recommended order quantity of each of the plurality of chambers and the capacity of each of the plurality of chambers.
[0012] In one embodiment, the step of determining the number of workers to be allocated to each of the plurality of chambers includes: determining the number of workers to be allocated to each of the plurality of chambers according to a recommended order quantity ratio of the plurality of chambers, allocating the number of workers to each of the plurality of chambers so that the number of workers allocated to each of the plurality of chambers does not exceed a remaining capacity limit of each of the plurality of chambers and a total sum of the numbers of workers allocated to each of the plurality of chambers does not exceed the remaining number of workers; and updating the remaining recommended order quantity of the plurality of chambers, the remaining available capacity of the plurality of chambers, the remaining capacity limit of the plurality of chambers, and the remaining number of workers according to the allocation result.
[0013] In one embodiment, the final number of allocated workers for each of the plurality of chambers is determined by repeating the step of determining the number of workers to be allocated to each of the plurality of chambers for chambers among the plurality of chambers whose remaining capacity limit is not 0 until the number of remaining workers becomes 0.
[0014] In one embodiment, the method further comprises a step of recruiting additional workers at the reference point in time, if, as a result of allocating all of the available workers to one of the plurality of chambers, there is at least one chamber among the plurality of chambers in which the remaining capacity limit is not 0.
[0015] In one embodiment, the step of additionally recruiting workers at the reference point comprises a step of determining the number of additional workers to be recruited based on the remaining capacity limit of the at least one chamber.
[0016] In one embodiment, the additional recruitment fee is determined based on the number of additional workers to be recruited.
[0017] In one embodiment, the method further comprises the step of determining an additional number of workers to be assigned to each of the at least one chamber based on the remaining recommended order quantity of the at least one chamber and the remaining capacity limit of the at least one chamber.
[0018] In one embodiment, the method further comprises the steps of: adjusting the order quantity of goods corresponding to a chamber among the plurality of chambers in which the initial capacity limit exceeds the number of final assigned workers; and updating the recommended order quantity of the corresponding chamber as the order quantity is adjusted.
[0019] In one embodiment, the step of adjusting the order quantity of the goods corresponding to the corresponding chamber is characterized by including the step of checking priority information on expected goods to be received in the corresponding chamber; and the step of adjusting the order quantity of the goods based on the priority information.
[0020] In one embodiment, the step of adjusting the order quantity of goods based on the priority information is characterized by reducing the order quantity of goods in order of lower priority.
[0021] In one embodiment, the step of checking priority information for expected incoming goods in each of the plurality of chambers is further included, and the step of determining the number of workers to be assigned to each of the plurality of chambers is characterized in that the number of workers to be assigned to each of the plurality of chambers is determined by further considering the priority information.
[0022] In one embodiment, the method further comprises a step of checking priority information of each of the plurality of chambers, and the step of determining the number of workers to be assigned to each of the plurality of chambers is characterized in that the number of workers to be assigned to each of the plurality of chambers is determined by further considering the priority information.
[0023] In one embodiment, when the sum of the initial capacity limits of the plurality of chambers is less than the number of available workers, the step of determining the number of workers to be assigned to each of the plurality of chambers is characterized in that the number of workers to be assigned to each of the plurality of chambers is determined based on a ratio of the capacity limits of the plurality of chambers.
[0024] In one embodiment, the method further comprises: a step of adjusting the order quantity of goods corresponding to a chamber when the sum of the initial capacity limits of the plurality of chambers is less than the number of available workers and there is a chamber among the plurality of chambers in which the recommended order quantity is less than the available capacity; and a step of updating the recommended order quantity of the corresponding chamber as the order quantity is adjusted.
[0025] In one embodiment, the item whose order quantity is to be adjusted among the items corresponding to the corresponding chamber is characterized in that it is determined based on the sales volume of the item.

[0064]
[0065] FIG. 3 is a flowchart illustrating a method for generating wear support information in an electronic device according to one embodiment.
[0066] Referring to FIG. 3, in step S310, the server device (100) can check the recommended order quantity of each of the multiple chambers of the logistics center at a reference point in time.
[0067] In one embodiment, a logistics center may include multiple chambers, and a corresponding chamber among the multiple chambers may be determined based on the characteristics of the goods arriving at the logistics center. Furthermore, the recommended order quantity for the corresponding chamber may be updated based on the determination of the chamber in which the goods will be stored. For example, the multiple chambers of the logistics center may be categorized based on the characteristics of the goods being stored. Specifically, the multiple chambers may be categorized based on the storage temperature for the goods. In this case, the multiple chambers may include at least one of a chamber for storing goods at room temperature, a chamber for storing goods under refrigeration, or a chamber for storing goods under freezing.
[0068] A chamber for room-temperature storage of goods may be used to store goods that do not significantly affect their condition when stored in a room-temperature or controlled storage location. When general industrial products or other goods are received, they may be stored in a room-temperature storage chamber. The recommended order quantity for room-temperature storage chambers may be updated based on the order quantity of the goods.
[0069] Meanwhile, a refrigerated storage chamber may be used to store items whose freshness or condition cannot be maintained in a room-temperature or controlled storage location, and which require storage in a separate, refrigerated temperature-controlled storage location to maintain freshness or condition. When refrigerated fresh food or groceries, etc., that require preservation of freshness or condition, are received, they may be stored in a refrigerated storage chamber. The recommended order quantity for the refrigerated storage chamber may be updated based on the order quantity of the relevant item.
[0070] Additionally, a chamber for frozen storage of goods may be used to store goods whose freshness or condition cannot be maintained if stored in a storage location managed at room temperature, room temperature, or simply refrigerated temperatures, and which require storage in a separate, refrigerated storage location to maintain freshness or condition. When frozen fresh food or groceries, etc., whose freshness or condition must be maintained, are received, they may be stored in a frozen storage chamber. The recommended order quantity for the frozen storage chamber may be updated based on the order quantity of the relevant goods.
[0071] In one embodiment, the reference point for checking the recommended order quantity for each of the multiple chambers of the logistics center can be set in units of days or hours. Since workers can only perform their work after ordered items arrive at the logistics center, it is necessary to check the arrival time of the items when ordering items. Accordingly, the server device (100) can check information on the lead time, which refers to the period between the ordering and arrival of the items when ordering items. The lead time can be set differently depending on the storage characteristics of the items or the delivery characteristics of the ordering company, and can be set so that the items do not expire before their sellable or distribution date.
[0072] When checking the lead time for an item, the server device (100) can calculate the arrival time by considering the ordering time. That is, the time after the lead time from the ordering time becomes the arrival time, and the reference point confirmed by the server device (100) can be the arrival time of the item. In this case, the determined arrival time may include only the arrival date information, or may include both the arrival date information and the arrival time information.
[0073] In one embodiment, the server device (100) may further obtain information for identifying items to be delivered to the logistics center from the logistics center and information regarding the characteristics of the items to be delivered to the logistics center. The information for identifying items to be delivered to the logistics center may include information regarding the name and image that can identify the items, and the information regarding the characteristics of the items to be delivered to the logistics center may include information related to ordering, delivery, or sale of the items, such as the price and date for delivery of the items, the storage type of the items, the selling price, whether discounts are available, or whether returns are permitted.
[0074] In step S320, the server device (100) can check the available capacity of each of the plurality of chambers at a reference point in time.
[0075] The available capacity of a chamber can refer to the number of additional items that can be received in that chamber. Therefore, if items exceed the available capacity, storage space may be insufficient, requiring adjustments to the order quantity based on the available capacity. Furthermore, even if items exceed the available capacity, only the number of items that can be processed is limited by the chamber's available capacity, limiting the chamber's workload. Therefore, it is necessary to check the available capacity of each chamber to manage worker allocation and order quantity at the distribution center at a baseline.
[0076] For example, in order to check the available capacity of each of the plurality of chambers of the logistics center at a reference point in time, the server device (100) may receive from the logistics center information about the total capacity of goods that each of the plurality of chambers can accommodate, information about the inventory of goods currently stored in each of the plurality of chambers, and information about the quantity of goods scheduled to be received and confirmed to be received in each of the plurality of chambers according to an order. That is, the capacity of each of the plurality of chambers at a reference point in time checked by the server device (100) in step S320 may be checked based on information about the total capacity of goods in each of the plurality of chambers, information about the inventory of goods in each of the plurality of chambers, and information about the quantity of goods scheduled to be received and confirmed to be received in each of the plurality of chambers according to an order.
[0077] For example, the server device (100) may receive information from the logistics center regarding the expected shipment quantity to be shipped from each of the plurality of chambers up to the reference point in time in order to confirm the available capacity of each of the plurality of chambers of the logistics center at the reference point in time. That is, the capacity of each of the plurality of chambers at the reference point in time confirmed by the server device (100) in step S320 may be confirmed based on the expected shipment quantity information up to the reference point in time.
[0078] In step S330, the server device (100) can check the number of available workers in the logistics center at a reference point.
[0079] For example, the server device (100) can receive information from the logistics center about the number of workers who can perform work at the logistics center at a reference point in time.
[0080] In step S340, the server device (100) can determine the number of workers to be assigned to each of the plurality of chambers based on the recommended order quantity of each of the plurality of chambers, the available capacity of each of the plurality of chambers, and the number of available workers.
[0081] For example, if the number of items scheduled to arrive in the chamber at the baseline is large, the workload for transporting, inspecting, sorting, and organizing these items is expected to be substantial, so more workers can be assigned to perform these tasks. Conversely, if the number of items scheduled to arrive in the chamber at the baseline is small, the workload is expected to be relatively small, so fewer workers can be assigned to perform these tasks smoothly.
[0082] Additionally, for example, if the chamber has a large available capacity at the baseline, there is sufficient space to accommodate the items scheduled to arrive, so there is no need to adjust the recommended order quantity. Accordingly, the recommended order quantity can be used to predict the workload and determine the number of workers to be assigned to the chamber. Conversely, if the chamber has a small available capacity at the baseline, there may not be enough space to accommodate the items scheduled to arrive, so the recommended order quantity cannot be fully accommodated. In such cases, even if many workers are assigned to the chamber based on the recommended order quantity, the workers may not have enough work to process. Therefore, the workload can be predicted based on the chamber's available capacity, not the recommended order quantity, to determine the number of workers to be assigned to the chamber. If necessary, the recommended order quantity can be adjusted to fall below the chamber's capacity by adjusting the order quantity of some items scheduled to arrive in the chamber.
[0083] As described above, by determining the number of workers to be assigned to each chamber by considering both the recommended order quantity and the available capacity of each chamber at a reference point, workers can be assigned according to the expected workload, thereby efficiently processing the work of the logistics center. A method for determining the number of workers to be assigned to each of the multiple chambers based on the recommended order quantity of each of the multiple chambers, the available capacity of each of the multiple chambers, and the number of available workers in the multiple chambers in the server device (100) is described in detail below with reference to FIG. 4.
[0084]
[0085] FIG. 4 is a flowchart illustrating a method for determining the number of workers to be assigned to each of a plurality of chambers in a server device (100) corresponding to step S340 of FIG. 3.
[0086] In step S410, the server device (100) can check the initial capacity limit of each of the plurality of chambers.
[0087] For example, the server device (100) can determine the smaller value among the recommended order quantity of each of the plurality of chambers and the available capacity of each of the plurality of chambers as the initial capacity limit of the chamber. If the recommended order quantity of the chamber exceeds the available capacity of the chamber, the incoming goods cannot be accommodated in excess of the available capacity of the chamber, so the workload of the chamber is determined based on the available capacity, and therefore the initial capacity limit of the chamber can be determined based on the available capacity of the chamber. In addition, even if the available capacity of the chamber exceeds the recommended order quantity of the chamber, only the workload related to the recommended order quantity of the chamber needs to be performed, so the workload of the chamber is determined based on the recommended order quantity, and therefore the initial capacity limit of the chamber can be determined based on the recommended order quantity of the chamber.
[0088] In step S420, the server device (100) may determine the number of workers to be assigned to each of the plurality of chambers based on the recommended order quantity ratio of the plurality of chambers. In addition, the server device (100) may assign workers so that the number of workers assigned to each of the plurality of chambers does not exceed the remaining capacity limit of each of the plurality of chambers, and so that the total number of workers assigned to each of the plurality of chambers does not exceed the remaining number of workers.
[0089] As described above, the workload of each chamber at a baseline is fundamentally determined by the recommended order quantity for each chamber at that baseline. Therefore, allocating available workers to each chamber at a ratio equal to the recommended order quantity ratio for each chamber at the baseline allows for efficient utilization of the available workers at that baseline.
[0090] However, as described above, if available workers are allocated beyond the chamber's capacity limit, the excess workers may not have enough work to handle, thereby reducing the efficiency of available worker management. Therefore, when allocating available workers at a baseline, the number of workers assigned to each chamber should be kept within the remaining capacity limit of each chamber, thereby improving the efficiency of available worker management.
[0091] In step S430, the server device (100) can update the remaining recommended order quantity of each of the plurality of chambers, the remaining available capacity of each of the plurality of chambers, the remaining capacity limit of each of the plurality of chambers, and the remaining number of workers based on the result of the worker number allocation in step S420.
[0092] In step S420, when determining the number of workers to be assigned to each of the plurality of chambers while not exceeding the remaining capacity limit of each of the plurality of chambers, there may be cases where the entire number of workers available at the reference point cannot be assigned to one of the plurality of chambers. In such cases, workers can be efficiently assigned by additionally assigning the remaining workers to chambers with remaining capacity limits. To this end, the remaining capacity limit and the remaining number of workers of each of the plurality of chambers can be updated based on the result of worker number allocation in step S420. At this time, the remaining recommended order quantity of each of the plurality of chambers and the remaining capacity limit of each of the plurality of chambers can be determined as a value obtained by subtracting the number of workers determined to be assigned to each chamber in step S420 from the recommended order quantity and the initial capacity limit of each of the plurality of chambers. In addition, the remaining number of workers can be determined as a value obtained by subtracting the sum of the numbers of workers determined to be assigned to each of the plurality of chambers in step S420 from the number of available workers at the reference point.
[0093] To help understanding, let's explain with an example of FIG. 5. The logistics center of the example includes a room temperature chamber, a refrigerated chamber, and a frozen chamber, and the expected stocking quantities of each chamber at a reference point are 60,000, 40,000, and 60,000, respectively, and the available capacities of each chamber at the reference point are 80,000, 10,000, and 40,000, respectively. In addition, the number of available workers at the reference point is 100,000. At this time, as described above, the initial capacity limit of each chamber is set to the smaller value of the expected stocking quantity of each chamber and the capacity of each chamber, and thus are set to 60,000, 10,000, and 40,000, respectively. The server device (100) can determine the number of workers to be assigned to each chamber at a ratio of 3:2:3, which is the same as the recommended ordering quantity ratio of each of the plurality of chambers. At this time, since the number of workers to be assigned to each chamber must be allocated so as not to exceed the initial capacity limit of each chamber, the number of workers to be assigned to each chamber can be determined as 15,000, 10,000, and 15,000. As a result of assigning workers to each stage, the server device (100) can update the remaining recommended order quantity of each chamber to 45,000, 30,000, and 35,000, which are calculated by subtracting the number of workers assigned to each chamber from the recommended order quantity of each chamber. In addition, the server device (100) can update the remaining capacity limit of each chamber to 45,000, 0, and 25,000, which are calculated by subtracting the number of workers assigned to each chamber from the capacity limit of each chamber. Additionally, the server device (100) can update the number of remaining workers to 60,000, which is the total number of workers allocated to each of the multiple chambers, minus 40,000, from the number of available workers at the reference point.
[0094] In step S440, the server device (100) checks whether the number of remaining workers has reached 0, and if the number of remaining workers has not reached 0, steps S420 and S430 can be repeated for chambers among the plurality of chambers whose remaining capacity limit is not 0.
[0095] For example, after completing the first worker allocation in FIG. 5, the remaining recommended order quantities of the room temperature chamber and the freezing chamber are 45,000 and 35,000, respectively, and the remaining capacity limits of each chamber are 45,000 and 25,000, respectively. In the second worker number allocation, the number of workers to be allocated to each chamber is determined at a ratio of 1:1, the same as the recommended order quantity ratio of the room temperature chamber and the freezing chamber according to steps S420 and S430, but the number of workers to be allocated to each chamber must be allocated so as not to exceed the remaining capacity limit of each chamber. As a result, the number of workers to be allocated to each chamber can be determined as 25,000 and 25,000, respectively. Additionally, based on the results of the second worker allocation, the remaining order recommendation for each chamber can be updated to 20,000 and 10,000, the remaining capacity limit for each chamber can be updated to 20,000 and 0, and the remaining number of workers can be updated to 10,000. In this example, since the remaining number of workers has not reached 0 even after completing the second worker allocation, the third worker allocation can be performed, and the remaining 10,000 workers can be allocated to the room temperature chamber according to steps S420 and S430.
[0096] When the number of remaining workers reaches 0, the server device (100) may determine the final number of assigned workers for each of the multiple chambers based on the allocation results at each stage through step S450. For example, the final number of assigned workers for each of the multiple chambers may be determined as the sum of the numbers of assigned workers for each of the multiple chambers at each stage.
[0097] For example, after the third worker number allocation in FIG. 5 is completed, steps S420 and S430 may be terminated, and the final number of allocated workers for each chamber may be determined. In this example, the final number of allocated workers for the room temperature chamber, refrigerated chamber, and freezer chamber are determined to be 50,000, 10,000, and 40,000, respectively.
[0098] In one embodiment, if all available workers of the logistics center at a reference point in time have been assigned to one of the plurality of chambers, and at least one chamber among the plurality of chambers has a non-zero remaining capacity limit, the server device (100) may additionally recruit workers for the logistics center at the reference point in time. If the remaining capacity limit remains even after allocating available workers to the plurality of chambers, this means that the final number of workers assigned to the corresponding chamber at the reference point in time is less than the recommended order quantity and available capacity of the corresponding chamber. In other words, this means that the final number of workers assigned to the corresponding chamber is currently less than the number of workers required to process the workload according to the recommended order quantity of the corresponding chamber at the reference point in time, and this means that there is spare space in the corresponding chamber at the reference point in time that can accommodate the remaining recommended order quantity. Therefore, in this case, by additionally recruiting workers to process the workload of the corresponding chamber, the workload of the logistics center can be efficiently processed.
[0099] In one embodiment, the server device (100) may determine the number of additional workers to be recruited based on the remaining capacity limit of at least one chamber, if the remaining capacity limit is not 0. The remaining capacity limit of each chamber refers to the number of workers that need to be allocated when the remaining workload is predicted by considering the remaining recommended order quantity and remaining available capacity of each chamber. In other words, if a number of workers exceeding the remaining capacity limit of each chamber is allocated to the chamber, the workload to be processed may be less than the number of workers, which may reduce efficiency. Therefore, by determining the number of additional workers to be recruited based on the remaining capacity limit of the chamber, the workload of the logistics center can be efficiently processed.
[0100] In one embodiment, the server device (100) may determine the additional recruitment fee based on the number of additional workers to be recruited. For example, the server device (100) may determine the additional recruitment fee proportional to the number of additional workers to be recruited. If the chamber's remaining capacity is small and the remaining workload is expected to be small, the number of additional workers to be recruited may be set small, and thus the fee paid to workers who participate in processing the workload of the logistics center through additional recruitment may also be small. On the other hand, if the chamber's remaining capacity is large and the remaining workload is expected to be large, the number of additional workers to be recruited may be set high, and thus the fee paid to workers who participate in processing the workload of the logistics center through additional recruitment may be set high, thereby encouraging worker participation.
[0101] In one embodiment, the server device (100) may determine the number of additional workers to be assigned to each of at least one chamber based on the remaining recommended order quantity and the remaining capacity limit of at least one chamber, for at least one chamber having a non-zero remaining capacity limit, by additionally recruiting workers at a reference point in time. The method for determining the number of additional workers to be assigned to each of at least one chamber may be the same as described above with respect to FIGS. 3 and 4 . Specifically, the number of additional workers to be assigned to each of at least one chamber may be determined based on the remaining recommended order quantity ratio of the at least one chamber, for at least one chamber having a non-zero remaining capacity limit, such that the number of additional workers assigned to each of at least one chamber does not exceed the remaining capacity limit of each of the at least one chamber. Similarly, if there is a remaining number of additional workers as a result of assigning additional workers, the step of determining the number of additional workers to be assigned to each of at least one chamber may be repeated until the remaining number of additional workers becomes 0, thereby determining the final number of additional workers to be assigned to each of at least one chamber.
[0102] In one embodiment, if all available workers of the logistics center at a reference point in time have been assigned to one of the plurality of chambers, and there is a chamber among the plurality of chambers with a non-zero remaining capacity limit, the server device (100) may adjust the order quantity of goods corresponding to the corresponding chamber. In addition, as the order quantity of the corresponding chamber is adjusted, the recommended order quantity and the remaining recommended order quantity values of the corresponding chamber may be updated. As described above, if the remaining capacity limit remains even after allocating available workers to the plurality of chambers, this may mean that the workload based on the quantity of goods received is expected to be greater than the number of workers finally assigned to the corresponding chamber at the reference point in time. In this case, additional workers may be recruited to handle the excess workload, but the order quantity may also be adjusted to reduce the expected workload to match the number of workers finally assigned to the corresponding chamber.
[0103] In one embodiment, the server device (100) may cancel a portion of the ordered quantity of goods corresponding to a chamber whose remaining capacity limit is not zero among a plurality of chambers, such that the final number of assigned workers and the recommended order quantity for the chamber are the same. When canceling a portion of the ordered quantity of goods, the server device (100) may check priority information regarding the expected incoming goods for the chamber and adjust the ordered quantity of goods based on the priority information.
[0104] Specifically, the expected incoming items can be divided into a first group with high priority, a second group with medium priority, and a third group with low priority. For example, the first group with high priority may include items to which price discounts are applied among the expected incoming items. The second group with medium priority may include items with high priority ordered from among the remaining items excluding those included in the first group. Here, the priority that serves as the criterion for inclusion in the second group may be determined based on the sales volume of the items. That is, the second group with medium priority may include some ordered items in descending order of sales volume, excluding those included in the first group. Furthermore, the third group with low priority may include the remaining items excluding those included in the first and second groups.
[0105] For another example, the priority of an expected incoming item may include priority information based on whether the item is ordered for basic inventory or for safety stock. Specifically, expected incoming items may be categorized as basic inventory, which is ordered to meet sales demand, and safety stock, which is ordered in case sales demand unexpectedly exceeds the supply. In this case, the priority of items for basic inventory may be set higher than that of items for safety stock. Furthermore, if the expected incoming items are both basic inventory items and safety stock items, the priority between items may be set based on sales volume, with higher sales volume being given higher priority.
[0106] In one embodiment, based on the priority information of the items set as described above, the server device (100) may adjust the order quantity of items in descending order of priority. For example, the server device (100) may preferentially reduce the order quantity of items for safety stock among the expected incoming items of the corresponding chamber, and among them, the order quantity corresponding to safety stock among the order quantities of items belonging to a third group with a low priority may be preferentially reduced. As the order quantity corresponding to safety stock among the items belonging to the third group is reduced, the remaining recommended order quantity and remaining capacity limit of the corresponding chamber may be updated. If the updated remaining recommended order quantity and remaining capacity limit still have a non-zero value, the server device (100) may reduce the order quantity corresponding to safety stock among the order quantities of items belonging to a second group with a medium priority. In this way, by prioritizing the order quantity of low-priority items, the order quantity for high-priority items or items already purchased by consumers can be maintained as much as possible, thereby enabling smooth delivery and efficient inventory management of items purchased by consumers.
[0107] In one embodiment, the server device (100) may check priority information for expected incoming items in each of the plurality of chambers, and further consider the priority information to determine the number of workers to be assigned to each of the plurality of chambers. Specifically, the number of workers to be assigned to each of the plurality of chambers may be determined through steps S420 to S440 as illustrated in FIG. 4, with the recommended order quantity of items in a first group having a high priority for the items corresponding to each of the plurality of chambers as the recommended order quantity for each of the plurality of chambers. Even after the allocation of the number of workers is completed, if there are remaining workers, the number of workers to be assigned to each of the plurality of chambers may be determined through steps S420 to S440, with the recommended order quantity of items in a second group having a medium priority as the recommended order quantity for each of the plurality of chambers. Similarly, even after the allocation of the number of workers is completed, if there are remaining workers, the number of workers to be assigned to each of the plurality of chambers may be determined through steps S420 to S440, with the recommended order quantity of items in a third group having a low priority as the recommended order quantity for each of the plurality of chambers. In this way, the workload and workers in the logistics center can be efficiently managed by prioritizing the number of workers for items in high-priority groups.
[0108] In one embodiment, the server device (100) can check the priority information for each of the multiple chambers and, based on the priority information, determine the number of workers to be assigned to each of the multiple chambers. For example, for items stored in chambers for refrigerated or frozen storage, work must be performed quickly after receipt of the items to maintain their freshness or condition. Thus, chambers requiring rapid work can be set to have a high priority, and by prioritizing worker assignment to chambers with high priorities, the workload of the logistics center can be efficiently managed.
[0109] In one embodiment, if the sum of the initial capacity limits of the plurality of chambers at a reference point in time is less than the number of available workers at the reference point in time, the server device (100) can determine the number of workers to be assigned to each of the plurality of chambers based on a ratio of the capacity limits of each of the plurality of chambers. If the sum of the initial capacity limits of the plurality of chambers at a reference point in time is less than the number of available workers at the reference point in time, it means that the workload at the reference point in time is sufficient for the available workers to process. In this case, since the workload of each chamber at the reference point in time is determined based on the initial capacity limit of each chamber, the number of workers to be assigned to each of the plurality of chambers can be determined based on a ratio of the capacity limits of each of the plurality of chambers. In addition, in this case, since a greater number of workers than the minimum number of workers required to process the workload of the chamber at the reference point in time can be assigned to each chamber, the working time of each chamber can be reduced.
[0110] In one embodiment, if the sum of the initial capacity limits of a plurality of chambers at a reference point is less than the number of available workers, and a chamber among the plurality of chambers has a recommended order quantity less than the available capacity, the server device (100) may adjust the order quantity of goods corresponding to the corresponding chamber. In addition, the server device (100) may update the recommended order quantity of the corresponding chamber as the order quantity of goods is adjusted.
[0111] If the sum of the initial capacity limits of multiple chambers at a baseline is less than the number of available workers, this means that the workload at the baseline is sufficient for the available workers to handle. Therefore, even if the order quantity of some items is increased, the available workers can handle the resulting increased workload. However, for chambers where the recommended order quantity exceeds the available capacity, even if the order quantity of the corresponding items is increased, the chamber does not have enough space to accommodate the additional ordered items. Therefore, the order quantity of the corresponding items can be increased only for chambers where the recommended order quantity is less than the available capacity. Furthermore, as the order quantity of items is adjusted, the recommended order quantity of the corresponding chamber can be updated, and by determining the number of available workers to be assigned to each chamber based on the updated recommended order quantity, the available workers can be efficiently allocated according to the updated workload.
[0112] In one embodiment, the server device (100) determines, based on the sales volume of products corresponding to a chamber where the sum of the initial capacity limits of a plurality of chambers at a reference point in time is less than the number of available workers and the recommended order quantity among the plurality of chambers is less than the available capacity, the product to be ordered may be adjusted. In other words, by increasing the order quantity of products corresponding to the chamber with high sales volume, a safety stock of the product can be secured. In this case, faster delivery can be achieved when the product is purchased by the consumer, thereby improving consumer satisfaction.
