Abstract
Description
Disturbance reduction assembly for unmanned aerial vehicles
[0001] The present invention relates to an unmanned aerial vehicle, and more particularly, to a disturbance reduction assembly for an unmanned aerial vehicle that minimizes disturbances including rolling, yawing, pitching, and external shocks that occur while flying or performing tasks such as filming.
[0002] In general, an unmanned aerial vehicle is an aircraft that can be controlled by a user through wired or wireless communication, and can fly in the air according to the user's operation.
[0003] The unmanned aerial vehicle may include a drone designed to fly via wired or wireless communication, a gimbal mounted on the drone, and a camera mounted on the gimbal.
[0004] Here, a gimbal can be built to compensate for camera angle adjustment and shake to obtain shake-free photos and videos at a desired angle.
[0005] These unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are capable of taking a wide variety of photos and videos from close or far distances, not only from the air but also from the side or below, and are therefore being used in a variety of fields, including sports, tourism, broadcasting, land development and environmental protection, disaster monitoring, logistics transport, real estate development, and even military operations.
[0006] In addition, drones can observe forests, crops, beaches, and road conditions in terrain that is difficult for workers to access through recorded and real-time video, and are expanding into various fields such as rescue operations at accident sites.
[0007] However, there is a problem that the shock generated when the drone takes off or lands, as well as the disturbances such as shaking or vibration about the x, y, and z axes that occur during flight, hinder the normal flight of the drone.
[0008] The purpose of the present invention, which was devised to solve the above-mentioned problem, is to provide a disturbance reduction assembly for an unmanned aerial vehicle, which is installed between a flight body and a gimbal, and absorbs and buffers disturbances such as shock, vibration, and shaking that occur before, during, and after flight to the greatest extent possible.
[0009] In order to achieve the above-described object, a disturbance reduction assembly for an unmanned aerial vehicle according to the present invention may include: an upper plate having a hollow shape with a predetermined area, the upper plate having an upper mounting portion having a predetermined area and being arranged at a predetermined angle at the periphery with respect to the center; a lower plate having a hollow shape with a predetermined area, the lower mounting portion having a predetermined area and being arranged at a predetermined angle at the periphery with respect to the center; and a connecting member that is bent upward on both sides and is connected to a drone; a central plate having a predetermined area, the central plate being positioned in a central hole of the lower plate to which a gimbal is connected; a plurality of connecting members arranged at a predetermined interval to connect the central plate to the upper plate, one end of which is fixed to the periphery of the central plate and the other end of which is fixed to the upper plate; and a damper that is connected by connecting the upper mounting portion and the lower mounting portion.
[0010] Here, the damper is manufactured in a shape that is convex in the center, concave on both sides, and has flanges on both ends, and the two sides can be fitted and combined into the upper and lower mounting parts.
[0011] For example, the damper may include a first damper positioned centrally in each mounting section and a plurality of second dampers positioned at a certain angle around the first damper.
[0012] And, at least one second damper is arranged inwardly and at least one is arranged outwardly with respect to the center of the upper or lower plate, and when the centers of the inner second dampers are connected on a plane, a circle (C) can be formed.
[0013] As another example, the damper may include a first damper positioned centrally in each mounting portion, and a plurality of second dampers positioned at a certain angle around the first damper.
[0014] And the second damper may be arranged to be inclined at a certain angle with respect to the first damper, which is arranged vertically on the side, and may be arranged to be inclined at a certain angle that narrows upward on the side.
[0015] In addition, the upper mounting portion or the lower mounting portion may have a cut end cut in the shape of a ‘ㄷ’ at the part where one side of the second damper is fitted and fitted.
[0016] And the cutting edge can be positioned higher than the base so that the second damper is arranged in an inclined manner so that it narrows upward on the side.
[0017] As described above, according to the present invention, not only is the impact reduced before and after landing of the unmanned aerial vehicle reduced, but also rolling, yawing, and pitching that occur during flight, as well as shaking and vibration caused by external impacts, are minimized, thereby ensuring stable flight control and flight position.
[0018] And, since the drone is mounted on the lower plate, the external force generated during the ascent and descent, and since the gimbal is mounted on the upper plate via the central plate, the self-weight of the gimbal can be minimized or unrelated to the release of the upper and lower plates.

[0026]
[0027] <Composition>
[0028] According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, a disturbance reduction assembly (A) for an unmanned aerial vehicle may have a drone (D) fixed to the upper portion and a gimbal (G) mounted to the lower portion, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. This disturbance reduction assembly may include an upper plate (100), a lower plate (200), a central plate (300), a fastening member (400), and a damper (500). Hereinafter, a device in which the drone (D), the assembly (A), and the gimbal (G) are all combined is referred to as an "unmanned aerial vehicle."
[0029] First, the upper plate (100) and the lower plate (200) are hollow and have a certain area in a plane, and a plurality of mounting parts can be arranged at a certain angle centered on the center. For example, the upper plate (100) and the lower plate (200) can be manufactured by having an upper mounting part (110) and a lower mounting part (210) of a certain area, respectively, on which the first damper (510) and the second damper (520) are mounted at four corners, and having an approximately square shape in a plane. The planar edges of the upper plate (100) and the lower plate (200) can be formed to be thin and long, and the upper mounting part (110) and the lower mounting part (210) at the corners can be manufactured to be wide and roughly square. These upper plates (100) and lower plates (200) are manufactured in the same or similar shape and are placed above and below, and can be connected to each other by being connected to one first damper (510) and a plurality of second dampers (520).
[0030] For example, the upper plate (100) and the lower plate (200) are square in plan, the upper mounting portions (110) are arranged at a constant angle and interval from each other, and the lower mounting portions (210) can also be arranged at a constant angle and interval from each other. This can be an optimal arrangement for reducing external disturbances such as shock, shaking, and vibration applied to the unmanned aerial vehicle. In addition, even if the upper plate (100) and the lower plate (200) are circular or polygonal in plan, the upper mounting portions (110) or the lower mounting portions (210) can be arranged at a constant angle and interval from each other.
[0031] In addition, the upper mounting portion (110) and the lower mounting portion (210) may be provided with a cut end (S) cut in a roughly 'ㄷ' shape at the portion where the second damper (520) is fixed. This cut end (S) may be formed to be inclined so that the tip is positioned higher than the base and faces toward the center. In addition, the inclination angle of the cut end (S) may be determined according to the arrangement angle of the second damper (520) fixed to the cut end (S). The second damper (520) fixed to this cut end (S) forms a certain angle (θ1) with respect to the first damper (510) which is arranged roughly vertically, as shown in FIG. 4, and for example, the angle (θ1) may be 15 to 25°, which is optimal for reducing external impact, and may be preferably 20°.
[0032] And the lower plate (200) may further include a connecting member (220) having a roughly 'L' shape formed on both corresponding sides. This connecting member (220) may be protruded from the side of the lower plate (200) and then may be connected to the drone (D) with one side portion facing upward. Accordingly, by connecting the drone (D) to the lower plate (200), the pressure applied when the drone (D) is raised or lowered may be unrelated to or minimized in relation to the release of the connection between the upper plate (100) and the lower plate (200).
[0033] Next, the center plate (300) may have a constant area of approximately a square in plan view and may be a member on which a gimbal (G) on the lower side is mounted. The center plate (300) may be provided with a number of through holes for weight reduction and fastening with the gimbal (G). In addition, the center plate (300) may be positioned lower than the lower plate (200) in terms of side view, and a corner may be fastened to the upper plate (100) via a fastening member (400). In addition, the center plate (300) may be positioned in the center hole of the upper plate (100) and the lower plate (200) and may be manufactured to be smaller than the center hole. Therefore, by fastening the center plate (300) to the upper plate (100), the self-weight of the gimbal fastened to the center plate (300) may be unrelated to or minimized when the upper plate (100) and the lower plate (200) are disconnected.
[0034] Next, the fastening member (400) may be a member that connects and fastens the central plate (300) and the upper plate (100). The upper and lower portions of this fastening member (400) may be bent, the lower portion may be fastened to the corner of the central plate (300), and the upper portion may be fastened to the upper mounting portion (110). Here, since the size of the central plate (300) is smaller than the central hole of the upper plate (100), the fastening member (400) may be arranged to be inclined on the side so as to connect and fasten the central plate (300) and the upper plate (100). Of course, the shape and arrangement angle of the fastening member (400) may be variously modified depending on the size of the central plate (300) with respect to the central hole of the upper plate (100).
[0035] Finally, the damper (500) may include a first damper (510) and a second damper (520).
[0036] Here, the first damper (510) can be fixed by connecting the upper mounting portion (110) and the lower mounting portion (210), as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. More specifically, the first damper (510) is mounted by connecting the upper mounting portion (110) and the lower mounting portion (210), and can be arranged approximately vertically on the side, as shown in FIG. 4. The first damper (510) can be shaped like a jar, with a wide middle portion on the side, narrow portions on both sides, and a spout formed with flanges on both ends. This shape can be resistant to various shocks, including vertical shocks, multi-angle shocks, and twisting. This first damper (510) is connected by having a wide middle portion and narrow sides between the flanges, which are inserted through the upper mounting portion (110) and the lower mounting portion (210), respectively, and the release of the fitting connection can be prevented by the flange and the middle portion. Of course, the first damper (510) can be manufactured in various other shapes.
[0037] And the second damper (520) can be fixed by connecting the upper mounting portion (110) and the lower mounting portion (210) together with the first damper (510) as shown in FIGS. 3 to 5. More specifically, two or more second dampers (520) can be arranged in a circle at the same angle (θ2) around the first damper (510) located at the center on a plane, and preferably three can be arranged in a circle at 120°. The second damper (520) is arranged at an angle (θ1) with respect to the first damper (510) which is arranged approximately vertically as shown in FIG. 4 in a side view, and the angle (θ1) can be 15 to 25°, and preferably 20°. This can be possible by having both sides fitted into the cut ends (S) processed in the upper mounting portion (110) and the lower mounting portion (210) and being joined. And the second damper (520) has the same or similar shape as the first damper (510), and in detail, it can be roughly a jar shape with a wide middle portion on the side, narrow sides, and a spout formed with flanges at both ends. This shape can be resistant to various shocks including upper and lower shocks, shocks from various angles, and twisting. The second damper (520) is connected by having the wide middle portion and the narrow sides between the flanges penetrate the cut ends (S) of the upper mounting portion (110) and the lower mounting portion (210), and the release of the fitting connection can be prevented by the flange and the middle portion. Of course, the second damper (520) can be manufactured in various other shapes.
[0038] In addition, the second dampers (520) may be arranged in an approximately triangular shape, two on the inside and one on the outside, relative to the first damper (510) in one mounting portion (110, 120), for example, as shown in FIG. 1. At this time, the two inner second dampers (520) may be arranged to form an approximately circular shape (C) on a plane. This may be optimal in reducing shock, shaking, and swaying, especially yawing, applied internally and externally to the unmanned aerial vehicle during flight.
[0039] Meanwhile, the disturbance reduction assembly manufactured according to the present invention can minimize disturbances including shocks during takeoff and landing and boarding and descent, yawing applied in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction on a plane during flight, rolling in which the left and right sides on the side shake up and down, pitching in which the front and rear parts shake up and down, as well as shocks, shaking, and the like caused by collision with external objects, by the arrangement angles and positions of the upper and lower mounting parts (110) and lower mounting parts (120) of the upper plate (100) or lower plate (200), and the arrangement positions and angles (θ1, θ2) of the first damper (510) and the second damper (520).
