Description

electromagnetic contactor

[0001] The present invention relates to an electronic contactor, and more particularly, to an electronic contactor having a structure capable of achieving structural simplicity while including a status monitoring function.

[0002] An electromagnetic contactor is a general term for a device that uses magnetic attraction to operate contacts, thereby opening and closing a circuit. Magnetic contactors are widely used to remotely control the operation of any device by controlling magnetic attraction.

[0003] An electromagnetic contactor typically comprises a fixed contact and a movable contact, each of which is electrically connected to an external power source and load, respectively. The movable contact is connected to a movable core by an arbitrary member. The fixed core is positioned adjacent to the movable core, and the fixed core is surrounded by a coil.

[0004] When a control current is applied to the coil, the fixed core is magnetized by the magnetic field formed by the coil, which applies an attractive force to the movable core. Accordingly, the movable core and the movable contact connected thereto move, so that the movable contact and the fixed contact come into contact, and as a result, the external power source and load connected to the electromagnetic contactor are respectively connected so that they can conduct current.

[0005] Recently, interest in electric vehicles (EVs), which utilize electricity instead of fossil fuels, has grown, leading to an increase in the number of cases where electronic contactors are installed in electric vehicles. Unlike conventional devices, electric vehicles are directly linked to the safety of drivers and pedestrians, making reliable control of electronic contactors increasingly crucial.

[0006] To this end, technologies have been introduced to monitor the operating status of an electronic contactor in real time and control the electronic contactor in real time by reflecting the monitored status.

[0007] Korean Patent Document No. 10-2513352 discloses a built-in electromagnetic switch having a status display function. Specifically, the built-in electromagnetic switch is disclosed, which has an indication means provided in the housing, so that the status of the electromagnetic switch can be displayed.

[0008] However, the built-in electromagnetic switch disclosed in the above-mentioned prior art has a limitation in that its operating status is only provided through an indicator provided in the case. In other words, it is difficult for a remotely located operator to easily recognize the operating status of the built-in electromagnetic switch.

[0009] Korean Patent Document No. 10-1228807 discloses an electronic contactor control method and an electronic contactor utilizing the same. Specifically, the invention discloses an electronic contactor control method capable of receiving status information of the electronic contactor and controlling the on / off operation of the electronic contactor based on the status information, and an electronic contactor utilizing the same.

[0010] However, the electronic contactor control method disclosed in the above-described prior art document and the electronic contactor utilizing the same have limitations in that their implementation methods are limited to information flow. In other words, the above-described prior art document fails to provide a specific arrangement structure for implementing the information flow and the corresponding electronic contactor control method.

[0011] Furthermore, the above-mentioned prior documents do not provide a method for concisely configuring the arrangement structure and assembly structure of the electronic contactor while providing a configuration for status monitoring, and for preventing an increase in the size of the electronic contactor.

[0115] The first housing space (113) may have a shape corresponding to the shape of the first housing body (110). In the illustrated embodiment, the first housing space (113) is defined as a three-dimensional space having a width in the left-right direction longer than the length in the front-back direction and a height in the up-down direction.

[0116] The support boss (120) supports the fixed contact (310) coupled to the first housing (100) in a radial direction. In addition, the support boss (120) exposes the fixed contact (310) at a relatively high position compared to the upper surface (111) of the first housing, so that current flow between the fixed contact (310) and an external power source and load can be easily formed.

[0117] A support boss (120) is formed on the upper surface (111) of the first housing. The support boss (120) is formed to protrude from the upper side in the height direction of the upper surface (111) of the first housing in the illustrated embodiment.

[0118] A plurality of support bosses (120) may be provided. The plurality of support bosses (120) may be spaced apart from each other in the width direction of the first housing body (110) and may be arranged to face each other with a contact insulating partition (140) therebetween. In the illustrated embodiment, the support bosses (120) include a first support boss (120a) located on the left side and a second support boss (120b) located on the right side.

[0119] In the illustrated embodiment, the support boss (120) includes a terminal support portion (121) and a terminal cover portion (122).

[0120] The terminal support (121) supports the terminal member (400) coupled with the fixed contact (310) in the height direction. In the illustrated embodiment, the terminal support (121) is configured to support the terminal member (400) from the lower side. The terminal support (121) can support the third terminal extension (433) from the lower side. The terminal support (121) is located on the outer side of the terminal cover (122) along the longitudinal direction.

[0121] By the terminal support member (121), the distance by which the terminal member (400) moves downward when pressed by an external force or the length by which the shape is deformed can be limited.

[0122] In addition, in an embodiment in which a support protrusion (p) is further formed on the first housing (100), the terminal support portion (121) may be formed to have a lower height than the support protrusion (p). In the above embodiment, the third terminal extension portion (433) is supported by the support protrusion (p), but when pressed by an external force, the terminal support portion (121) may limit the movement distance or shape deformation degree of the third terminal extension portion (433) (see FIG. 21).

[0123] The terminal cover portion (122) supports the terminal member (400) coupled with the fixed contact (310) in the horizontal direction. In the illustrated embodiment, the terminal cover portion (122) is configured to support the terminal member (400) in the longitudinal direction, i.e., in the front-back direction. The terminal cover portion (122) can support the second terminal extension portion (432) from the inner side in the longitudinal direction. The terminal cover portion (122) is positioned on the outer side in the longitudinal direction of the second terminal extension portion (432) along the longitudinal direction.

[0124] By the terminal cover portion (122), the distance by which the terminal member (400) moves horizontally or the length by which its shape is deformed when pressed by an external force can be limited.

[0125] Accordingly, as the support boss (120) supports the terminal member (400) in the horizontal and vertical directions, respectively, excessive shape deformation or excessive movement of the terminal member (400) can be prevented.

[0126] A contact penetration hole (130) is formed inside the support boss (120).

[0127] The contact penetration hole (130) is a space where the fixed contact (310) is exposed. The fixed contact (310) can be at least partially exposed to the outside through the contact penetration hole (130). In the illustrated embodiment, the fixed contact head (311), the fixed contact boss (313), a portion of the fixed contact hollow (314) and the terminal receiving groove (315) formed on the upper side of the fixed contact (310) are exposed to the outside through the contact penetration hole (130).

[0128] Additionally, the terminal body (410) of the terminal member (400) accommodated in the terminal accommodation groove (315) can also be accommodated in the contact penetration hole (130) and exposed to the outside of the first housing body (110).

[0129] The contact penetration hole (130) is located inside the support boss (120). Specifically, the contact penetration hole (130) is located radially inward of the support boss (120). The contact penetration hole (130) is formed to penetrate in the height direction of the first housing body (110), i.e., in the vertical direction in the illustrated embodiment. The contact penetration hole (130) is formed to penetrate across the support boss (120) and the upper surface (111) of the first housing, thereby connecting the first housing space (113) with the outside.

[0130] The contact penetration hole (130) may have a shape corresponding to the shape of the fixed contact (310) or the terminal body (410). In the illustrated embodiment, the contact penetration hole (130) is formed as a cylindrical space having a circular cross-section and a vertical height.

[0131] A plurality of contact penetration holes (130) may be provided. The plurality of contact penetration holes (130) may be arranged to face each other while being spaced apart in the width direction with a contact insulating barrier (140) interposed therebetween. In the illustrated embodiment, the contact penetration holes (130) include a first contact penetration hole (130a) located on the left side and a second contact penetration hole (130b) located on the right side.

[0132] The first contact through-hole (130a) is formed in the first support boss (120a) and accommodates the first fixed contact (310a) and the first terminal member (400a). The second contact through-hole (130b) is formed in the second support boss (120b) and accommodates the second fixed contact (310b) and the second terminal member (400b).

[0133] The contact penetration hole (130) may be divided into a plurality of parts. Some of the plurality of parts accommodate a fixed contact (310). Others of the plurality of parts accommodate a terminal member (400).

[0134] In the illustrated embodiment, the contact through hole (130) includes a contact receiving hole (131) and a terminal receiving hole (132).

[0135] The contact receiving hole (131) receives the fixed contact (310). The contact receiving hole (131) is located inside the terminal receiving hole (132). The contact receiving hole (131) may have a shape corresponding to the shape of the fixed contact (310). In the illustrated embodiment, the contact receiving hole (131) is formed as a cylindrical space having a circular cross-section and a vertical height. In the above embodiment, the diameter of the cross-section of the contact receiving hole (131) may be greater than or equal to the diameter of the cross-section of the fixed contact head (311) of the fixed contact (310).

[0136] The contact receiving hole (131) is connected to the terminal receiving hole (132).

[0137] The terminal receiving hole (132) receives the first terminal extension (431) of the terminal member (400). The terminal receiving hole (132) is located on the outside of the contact receiving hole (131). The terminal receiving hole (132) may have a shape corresponding to the shape of the first terminal extension (431). In the illustrated embodiment, the terminal receiving hole (132) is formed as a columnar space extending in the width direction of the first housing body (110), i.e., in the left-right direction. The terminal receiving hole (132) is located between the terminal insulating partition (150) and the contact receiving hole (131) along the length direction of the first housing body (110), i.e., in the front-back direction.

[0138] The contact insulating partition (140) electrically insulates the first and second fixed contacts (310a, 310b) exposed to the outside of the first housing (100) along the width direction. In addition, the contact insulating partition (140) electrically insulates the first and second terminal members (400a, 400b) exposed to the outside of the first housing (100) along the width direction.

[0139] In the illustrated embodiment, the contact insulating partition (140) is positioned between the first and second contact through-holes (130a, 130b) along the width direction of the first housing body (110), i.e., the left-right direction. The contact insulating partition (140) extends in the length direction and height direction of the first housing body (110), i.e., the front-back direction and the up-down direction, and is positioned to overlap the first and second contact through-holes (130a, 130b) along the width direction.

[0140] The terminal insulating partition (150) electrically insulates the first and second terminal members (400a, 400b) exposed to the outside of the first housing (100) from other components. Specifically, the terminal insulating partition (150) electrically insulates the fourth terminal extension (434) exposed to the outside through the terminal through-hole (160) from other components.

[0141] The terminal insulating partition (150) is positioned between the terminal through-hole (160) and the contact through-hole (130) along the longitudinal direction of the first housing body (110), i.e., the front-rear direction in the illustrated embodiment. Accordingly, the terminal insulating partition (150) can electrically insulate the fixed contact (310) exposed to the outside through the contact through-hole (130) from the fourth terminal extension (434) exposed to the outside through the terminal through-hole (160).

[0142] A plurality of terminal insulating partitions (150) may be provided. The plurality of terminal insulating partitions (150) are spaced apart from each other along the width direction of the first housing body (110) so as to at least partially surround the plurality of fourth terminal extensions (434).

[0143] In the illustrated embodiment, a pair of terminal insulating partitions (150) are provided, including a first terminal insulating partition (150a) and a second terminal insulating partition (150b). The first and second terminal insulating partitions (150a, 150b) are arranged to face each other along the width direction of the first housing body (110), i.e., the left-right direction in the illustrated embodiment, with the contact insulating partition (140) interposed therebetween.

[0144] Accordingly, the fourth terminal extension (434) of the first terminal member (400a) exposed to the outside through the first terminal through-hole (160a) can be electrically insulated from the fourth terminal extension (434) of the second terminal member (400b) exposed to the outside through the second terminal through-hole (160b) along the width direction of the first housing body (110).

[0145] In the illustrated embodiment, the terminal insulating bulkhead (150) includes a first insulating extension (151), a second insulating extension (152), and a terminal receiving space (153).

[0146] The first insulating extension (151) constitutes a part of the terminal insulating partition (150). The first insulating extension (151) electrically insulates the fourth terminal extension (434) from the fixed contact (310). In the illustrated embodiment, the first insulating extension (151) is positioned between the contact through-hole (130) and the terminal through-hole (160) along the longitudinal direction of the first housing body (110), i.e., the front-back direction.

[0147] The first insulating extension (151) may have any shape that can electrically insulate the fixed contact (310) and the fourth terminal extension (434). In the illustrated embodiment, the first insulating extension (151) is provided in the shape of a plate having a width in the left-right direction, a thickness in the front-back direction, and a height in the up-down direction.

[0148] The first insulating extension (151) is continuous with the second insulating extension (152). The first insulating extension (151) partially surrounds the terminal receiving space (153).

[0149] The second insulating extension (152) constitutes another part of the terminal insulating bulkhead (150). The second insulating extension (152) electrically insulates the fourth terminal extension (434) provided on one terminal member (400) from the fixed contact (310), the fourth terminal extension (434) provided on the other terminal member (400), and the outside. In the illustrated embodiment, the second insulating extension (152) is positioned to surround the terminal through-hole (160) along the width direction of the first housing body (110), i.e., the left-right direction.

[0150] A plurality of second insulating extensions (152) may be provided. Each of the plurality of second insulating extensions (152) may be continuous with the first insulating extension (151), but may be spaced apart from each other in the width direction of the first housing body (110). In the illustrated embodiment, a pair of second insulating extensions (152) are provided, and are arranged to face each other in the left-right direction with the terminal through-hole (160) interposed therebetween.

[0151] The second insulating extension (152) may have any shape that can electrically insulate the fourth terminal extension (434) provided on one terminal member (400) from the fixed contact (310), the fourth terminal extension (434) provided on another terminal member (400), and the outside. In the illustrated embodiment, the second insulating extension (152) is provided in a plate shape having a thickness in the left-right direction, a length in the front-back direction, and a height in the up-down direction.

[0152] The second insulating extension (152) at least partially surrounds the terminal receiving space (153) together with the first insulating extension (151).

[0153] The terminal receiving space (153) receives a fourth terminal extension (434) that is exposed to the outside of the first housing (100) through a terminal through-hole (160). The terminal receiving space (153) at least partially surrounds the terminal through-hole (160) and the fourth terminal extension (434).

[0154] The terminal receiving space (153) can be defined by being surrounded by a first insulating extension (151) and a second insulating extension (152). In the illustrated embodiment, each widthwise side of the terminal receiving space (153) is surrounded by a pair of second insulating extensions (152). One side of each lengthwise side of the terminal receiving space (153) facing the contact through-hole (130), the rear side in the illustrated embodiment, is surrounded by the first insulating extension (151).

[0155] At this time, the other side opposite to the contact penetration hole (130) in the width direction of the terminal receiving space (153), the front side in the illustrated embodiment, is formed open. Accordingly, an external device (not illustrated) for monitoring the status of an inverter and a battery, etc., can be easily and electrically connected to the fourth terminal extension (434) through the other side.

[0156] The terminal through hole (160) forms a passage through which the fourth terminal extension (434) of the terminal member (400) is exposed to the outside of the first housing body (110). The terminal through hole (160) is formed through the upper surface (111) of the first housing, thereby connecting the first housing space (113) with the outside.

[0157] The terminal through hole (160) is located in the terminal receiving space (153). The terminal through hole (160) is at least partially surrounded by the first and second insulating extensions (151, 152).

[0158] The terminal through hole (160) may have a shape corresponding to the shape of the fourth terminal extension (434). In the illustrated embodiment, the terminal through hole (160) is formed to extend in the width direction of the first housing body (110), i.e., in the left-right direction, and is formed as a space formed to penetrate in the up-down direction.

[0159] A plurality of terminal through-holes (160) may be formed. The plurality of terminal through-holes (160) may be spaced apart from each other along the width direction of the first housing body (110) and may be respectively positioned in the plurality of terminal receiving spaces (153). In the illustrated embodiment, two terminal through-holes (160) are formed, including a first terminal through-hole (160a) positioned on the left side and a second terminal through-hole (160b) positioned on the right side.

[0160] The fourth terminal extension (434) of the first terminal member (400a) passes through the first terminal through-hole (160a). The first terminal through-hole (160a) is located in the terminal receiving space (153) provided in the first terminal insulating bulkhead (150a).

[0161] The fourth terminal extension (434) of the second terminal member (400b) passes through the second terminal through-hole (160b). The second terminal through-hole (160b) is located in the terminal receiving space (153) provided in the second terminal insulating bulkhead (150b).

[0162] The magnet member (170) forms a magnetic field to induce an arc generated inside the arc chamber (330). The arc generated when the fixed contact (310) and the movable contact (360) are separated is induced by an electromagnetic force formed by the current flowing through the fixed contact (310) and the movable contact (360) and the magnetic field formed, and can quickly advance in a direction away from the fixed contact (310) and be extinguished.

[0163] The magnet member (170) is positioned on the inner side of the first housing side (112). The magnet member (170) is arranged to surround the arc chamber (330) accommodated in the first housing space (113) from the outer side in the horizontal direction.

[0164] The magnet member (170) may be positioned on at least one of the plurality of first housing sides (112). In the illustrated embodiment, the magnet member (170) is positioned on the first housing sides (112) located on the left and right sides, respectively.

[0165] A plurality of magnet members (170) may be provided. Each of the plurality of magnet members (170) may form a magnetic field inside the arc chamber (330). In the illustrated embodiment, a total of three magnet members (170) are arranged in parallel in the longitudinal direction, i.e., in the front-back direction, on the inner side of the first housing side (112) located on the left side.

[0166] The process of inducing and extinguishing an arc generated by a magnetic field formed by a magnet member (170) is a well-known technology, so a detailed description will be omitted.

[0167] The second housing (200) constitutes another part of the external appearance of the electronic contactor (10). In the illustrated embodiment, the second housing (200) constitutes the other side, i.e., the lower side, in the height direction of the electronic contactor (10).

[0168] The second housing (200) is coupled with the first housing (100). One side of the second housing (200) in the height direction, the upper side in the illustrated embodiment, is coupled with the first housing (100). A space is formed inside the second housing (200), and the space is communicated with the space formed inside the first housing (100). As described above, when the first housing (100) and the second housing (200) are coupled, the spaces are communicated.

[0169] The second housing (200) accommodates the contact portion (300). At this time, the second housing (200) accommodates the remaining portion of the contact portion (300) excluding the portion accommodated in the first housing (100), i.e., the lower portion in the illustrated embodiment.

[0170] The second housing (200) may be formed of an electrically insulating material and a thermally insulating material. Additionally, the second housing (200) may be formed of a high-strength material. In one embodiment, the second housing (200) may be formed of the same material as the first housing (100).

[0171] The second housing (200) is coupled to the first housing (100) and may have any shape capable of at least partially accommodating the contact portion (300). In the illustrated embodiment, the second housing (200) has a rectangular cross-section in which the width in the left-right direction is longer than the length in the front-back direction, and has a polygonal prism shape having a height in the vertical direction. The second housing (200) and the first housing (100) may be shaped to correspond to each other.

[0172] In the embodiment illustrated in FIG. 8, the second housing (200) includes a second housing body (210) and a power opening (220).

[0173] The second housing body (210) forms the outer shape of the second housing (200). The second housing body (210) has a shape corresponding to the shape of the second housing (200), that is, a polygonal prism shape in which the width in the left-right direction is longer than the length in the front-back direction and the height in the up-down direction is greater.

[0174] The second housing body (210) is coupled with the first housing body (110). Specifically, one side in the height direction of the second housing body (210), the upper side in the illustrated embodiment, can be coupled with one side in the height direction of the first housing body (110), the lower side in the illustrated embodiment.

[0175] In one embodiment, the second housing body (210) can be hook-coupled to the first housing body (110) as described above.

[0176] The second housing body (210) accommodates the contact portion (300). The second housing body (210) can accommodate the contact portion (300) so that it is not exposed to the outside.

[0177] In the illustrated embodiment, the second housing body (210) includes a second housing side (211), a second housing coupling groove (212), and a second housing space (213).

[0178] The second housing side (211) constitutes a portion of the outer surface of the second housing body (210). In the illustrated embodiment, the second housing side (211) constitutes each horizontal side of the second housing body (210). A plurality of second housing side surfaces (211) may be provided, and may constitute the front side, the rear side, the left side, and the right side of the second housing body (210), respectively.

[0179] Each end of the extension direction of the plurality of second housing sides (211) may be continuous with each end of the extension direction of another second housing side (211). The plurality of second housing sides (211) horizontally surround a second housing space (213) formed inside the second housing body (210).

[0180] A second housing joining groove (212) is formed on the inner side of the second housing side (211).

[0181] The second housing coupling groove (212) is a portion where the second housing body (210) is coupled with the first housing body (110). The second housing coupling groove (212) is formed on one side in the height direction of the second housing side surface (211), in the illustrated embodiment, on the upper end.

[0182] A first housing coupling member (112a) is retractably inserted into the second housing coupling groove (212). As described above, in an embodiment in which the first housing coupling member (112a) is provided in the form of a hook, the second housing coupling groove (212) and the first housing coupling member (112a) can be hook-coupled to each other.

[0183] The second housing coupling groove (212) may have any shape that can be coupled with the first housing coupling member (112a). In the illustrated embodiment, the second housing coupling groove (212) is formed in the form of a through hole that penetrates in the thickness direction of the second housing side surface (211). At this time, the second housing coupling groove (212) may extend in the same direction as the extension direction of the second housing side surface (211).

[0184] A plurality of second housing coupling grooves (212) may be provided. The plurality of second housing coupling grooves (212) may be arranged adjacent to the upper end of the second housing side surface (211) and spaced apart from each other along the extension direction of the second housing side surface (211). In the illustrated embodiment, a pair of second housing coupling grooves (212) are formed on each of a pair of second housing side surfaces (211) located on the front side and the rear side. Each pair of second housing coupling grooves (212) are spaced apart from each other in the left-right direction.

[0185] The shape and arrangement of the second housing coupling groove (212) can be changed depending on the shape and arrangement of the first housing coupling member (112a).

[0186] The second housing space (213) is a space formed inside the second housing body (210). The second housing space (213) is defined by being surrounded by the second housing side surface (211).

[0187] In the illustrated embodiment, each horizontal side of the second housing space (213), i.e., the front side, the rear side, the left side, and the right side, is surrounded by the second housing side surface (211). In addition, one height side of the second housing space (213), in the illustrated embodiment, the lower side, is surrounded by the second housing lower surface (not indicated in the drawing).

[0188] At this time, the other side in the height direction of the second housing space (213), i.e., the upper side, is formed open. The second housing space (213) is connected to the first housing space (113) through the other side.

[0189] The second housing space (213) is connected to the second housing coupling groove (212). The first housing coupling member (112a) accommodated in the second housing space (213) can enter the second housing coupling groove (212).

[0190] The second housing space (213) is connected to the electrical opening (220). A part of the contact portion (300) accommodated in the second housing space (213) can be electrically connected to an external control power source (not shown) by a conductor member (not shown) that enters the second housing space (213) through the electrical opening (220).

[0191] The second housing space (213) accommodates some components of the contact portion (300). In the illustrated embodiment, the second housing space (213) accommodates some components of the contact portion (300) that are located relatively lower, namely, the contact frame (340), the coil member (350), the fixed core (370), the movable core (380), and the shaft (390).

[0192] The second housing space (213) may have a shape corresponding to the shape of the second housing body (210). In the illustrated embodiment, the second housing space (213) is defined as a three-dimensional space having a width in the left-right direction longer than the length in the front-back direction and a height in the up-down direction.

[0193] The electrical opening (220) connects the second housing space (213) to the outside. An external control power source (not shown) can be electrically connected to the coil member (350) accommodated in the second housing space (213) through the electrical opening (220).

[0194] The electrical opening (220) may have any shape that allows the second housing space (213) to communicate with the outside. In the illustrated embodiment, the electrical opening (220) is formed to extend in the extension direction of the second housing side surface (211) located on the front side, i.e., in the left-right direction, and is formed to penetrate in the thickness direction of the second housing side surface (211) located on the front side, i.e., in the front-back direction.

[0195] A plurality of electrical openings (220) may be formed. The plurality of electrical openings (220) may be spaced apart from each other in the extension direction of the second housing side (211). In the illustrated embodiment, a pair of electrical openings (220) are provided and spaced apart from each other in the left-right direction.

[0196] The shape, number, and arrangement of the current opening (220) can be changed in accordance with the shape and arrangement of the coil member (350).

[0197] The contact portion (300) substantially performs the function of connecting or blocking the external power source and load to or from the electronic contactor (10). Some components of the contact portion (300) may be electrically connected to or from the external power source and load, and other components of the contact portion (300) may be electrically connected or separated from the aforementioned components. Accordingly, the external power source and load connected to the electronic contactor (10) may be electrically connected or block the electrical current.

[0198] The contact portion (300) is coupled with the first housing (100). Some components of the contact portion (300) are exposed to the outside of the first housing (100), and other components of the contact portion (300) are accommodated inside the first housing (100). At this time, the other components of the contact portion (300) can be accommodated in a movable manner inside the first housing (100).

[0199] The contact portion (300) is coupled with the second housing (200). Another configuration of the contact portion (300) can be accommodated movably within the second housing (200).

[0200] The contact portion (300) is coupled to a terminal member (400). The above-described part of the contact portion (300) is electrically connected to the terminal member (400), so that power having the same current and voltage as the power applied to the above-described part of the contact portion (300) can be applied to the terminal member (400). Accordingly, the terminal member (400) can perform a function of monitoring the operating status of the electronic contactor (10).

[0201] In the embodiments illustrated in FIGS. 9 to 13, the contact portion (300) includes a fixed contact (310), a contact insulating member (320), an arc chamber (330), a contact frame (340), a coil member (350), a movable contact (360), a fixed core (370), a movable core (380), and a shaft (390).

[0202] At this time, as shown in Fig. 11, each configuration of the contact portion (300) can be sequentially combined in the up-down direction.

[0203] That is, in a state where the contact frame (340), coil member (350), movable contact (360), fixed core (370), movable core (380) and shaft (390) are combined, the arc chamber (330) (①), contact insulating member (320) (②) and fixed contact (310) (③) are sequentially lowered so that the contact portion (300) can be assembled.

[0204] In addition, as will be described later, the terminal member (400) can also be moved in the same direction as the fixed contact (310) after it is lowered and joined to the contact portion (300). Therefore, the joining of the terminal member (400) and the contact portion (300) can be easily performed.

[0205] The fixed contact (310) is a configuration in which the contact portion (300) is electrically connected to an external power source and load. The fixed contact (310) is formed of an electrically conductive material. The fixed contact (310) is coupled to the first housing (100). The fixed contact (310) is penetrated through the contact through-hole (130) and is at least partially exposed to the outside of the first housing (100). The remaining portion of the fixed contact (310) is accommodated in the first housing space (113).

[0206] The fixed contact (310) is at least partially accommodated in the arc chamber (330). In the illustrated embodiment, one side of the fixed contact (310) in the height direction, i.e., the lower part, is located inside the arc chamber (330).

[0207] The fixed contact (310) is brought into contact with or separated from the movable contact (360). Accordingly, the fixed contact (310) can be electrically connected to or disconnected from the movable contact (360). As the name suggests, the fixed contact (310) is fixedly connected to the first housing (100) and does not move. Therefore, it will be understood that the contact and separation between the fixed contact (310) and the movable contact (360) are achieved by the movement of the movable contact (360).

[0208] The fixed contact (310) is coupled to the terminal member (400). Some components of the fixed contact (310) are in contact with and energized by the terminal body (410), and other components of the fixed contact (310) are inserted into the fixed contact receiving space (420). Accordingly, power of the same specifications, i.e., power of the same current value and voltage value, can be energized through the fixed contact (310) and the terminal member (400).

[0209] A plurality of fixed contacts (310) may be provided. The plurality of fixed contacts (310) may be electrically connected to an external power source and a load, respectively. In addition, the plurality of fixed contacts (310) may be simultaneously brought into contact with or separated from a movable contact (360). When the movable contact (360) is brought into contact, the plurality of fixed contacts (310) are electrically connected to each other by the movable contact (360), and the external power source and load are also electrically connected to each other.

[0210] In the illustrated embodiment, two fixed contacts (310) are provided, including a first fixed contact (310a) and a second fixed contact (310b). The first fixed contact (310a) is exposed to the outside of the first housing (100) by passing through the first contact through-hole (130a) located on the left side, and is electrically connected to one of an external power source and a load. The second fixed contact (310b) is exposed to the outside of the first housing (100) by passing through the second contact through-hole (130b) located on the right side, and is electrically connected to the other of an external power source and a load.

[0211] The first fixed contact (310a) and the second fixed contact (310b) are arranged facing each other with a contact insulating partition (140) interposed therebetween along the width direction of the first housing body (110), i.e., the left-right direction in the illustrated embodiment. The first fixed contact (310a) and the second fixed contact (310b) can be electrically insulated by the contact insulating partition (140).

[0212] The first fixed contact (310a) is coupled to and energized with the first terminal member (400a) located on the left side. The first fixed contact (310a) is positioned along the longitudinal direction of the first housing body (110), in the front-back direction in the illustrated embodiment, with the terminal insulating partition (150) interposed therebetween, facing the fourth terminal extension (434) of the first terminal member (400a).

[0213] The second fixed contact (310b) is coupled to and energized with the second terminal member (400b) located on the right side. The second fixed contact (310b) is positioned along the longitudinal direction of the first housing body (110), in the front-back direction in the illustrated embodiment, with the terminal insulating partition (150) interposed therebetween, facing the fourth terminal extension (434) of the second terminal member (400b).

[0214] In the illustrated embodiment, the fixed contact (310) includes a fixed contact head (311), a fixed contact body (312), a fixed contact boss (313), a fixed contact hollow (314), and a terminal receiving groove (315).

[0215] The fixed contact head (311) constitutes a part of the fixed contact (310). The fixed contact head (311) constitutes one side in the height direction of the fixed contact (310), the upper side in the illustrated embodiment.

[0216] The fixed contact head (311) is accommodated in the contact through-hole (130). The fixed contact head (311) can be at least partially exposed to the outside of the first housing (100) through the contact through-hole (130).

[0217] The fixed contact head (311) is accommodated in the contact penetration hole (130) and may have any shape that can be exposed to the outside of the first housing (100). In the illustrated embodiment, the fixed contact head (311) has a cylindrical shape with a circular cross-section and a height in the vertical direction. In the above embodiment, the diameter of the cross-section of the fixed contact head (311) may be greater than or equal to the diameter of the cross-section of the fixed contact body (312) and the diameter of the cross-section of the fixed contact boss (313).

[0218] The fixed contact head (311) is continuous with the fixed contact body (312). One side of the fixed contact head (311) facing the arc chamber (330) in the height direction, the lower side in the illustrated embodiment, is continuous with the upper end of the fixed contact body (312).

[0219] The fixed contact head (311) is continuous with the fixed contact boss (313). Among the sides of the fixed contact head (311) in the height direction, the other side facing the outside of the first housing (100), in the illustrated embodiment, the upper side, is continuous with the fixed contact boss (313).

[0220] A fixed contact hollow (314) is formed inside the fixed contact head (311). An external power source and load can be electrically connected to the fixed contact (310) by inserting a cable (not shown) into the fixed contact hollow (314).

[0221] The fixed contact head (311) at least partially surrounds the terminal receiving groove (315). In the illustrated embodiment, the outer periphery of the upper surface of the fixed contact head (311) surrounds the terminal receiving groove (315) from the lower side.

[0222] The fixed contact body (312) constitutes another part of the fixed contact (310). The fixed contact body (312) constitutes the other side in the height direction of the fixed contact (310), the lower side in the illustrated embodiment.

[0223] The fixed contact body (312) is located inside the arc chamber (330). The fixed contact body (312) may be at least partially exposed inside the arc chamber (330). The fixed contact body (312) is a portion where the fixed contact (310) comes into contact with the movable contact (360) and is energized.

[0224] The fixed contact body (312) may be of any shape that is at least partially positioned inside the arc chamber (330) and can be in contact with or spaced apart from the movable contact (360). In the illustrated embodiment, the fixed contact body (312) has a cylindrical shape with a circular cross-section and a height in the vertical direction. In the above embodiment, the diameter of the cross-section of the fixed contact body (312) may be formed to be less than or equal to the diameter of the cross-section of the fixed contact head (311).

[0225] The fixed contact body (312) is continuous with the fixed contact head (311). One side of each side in the height direction of the fixed contact body (312) facing the outside of the first housing (100), the upper side in the illustrated embodiment, is continuous with the lower side of the fixed contact head (311).

[0226] The other side of the fixed contact body (312) facing the inside of the arc chamber (330) in the height direction, the lower side in the illustrated embodiment, is located in a space formed inside the arc chamber (330) and is in contact with or separated from the movable contact (360).

[0227] The fixed contact boss (313) is a part where the fixed contact (310) is connected to the terminal member (400). The fixed contact boss (313) is accommodated in the fixed contact accommodation space (420) of the terminal member (400).

[0228] The fixed contact boss (313) is located in the contact through hole (130). The fixed contact boss (313) is exposed to the outside of the first housing (100).

[0229] The fixed contact boss (313) is continuous with the fixed contact head (311). The fixed contact boss (313) is formed to protrude from one side of the fixed contact head (311) facing the outside of the first housing (100), in the illustrated embodiment, from the upper surface.

[0230] The fixed contact boss (313) may be formed in a shape corresponding to the shape of the fixed contact receiving space (420). In the illustrated embodiment, the fixed contact boss (313) has a circular cross-section and a disc shape having a thickness in the vertical direction. In the above embodiment, the diameter of the cross-section of the fixed contact boss (313) may be formed to be less than or equal to the diameter of the cross-section of the fixed contact head (311) and greater than or equal to the diameter of the cross-section of the fixed contact receiving space (420).

[0231] A fixed contact hollow (314) is formed inside the fixed contact boss (313). A terminal receiving groove (315) is formed on the radially outer side of the fixed contact boss (313).

[0232] The fixed contact hollow (314) is a portion where a cable (not shown) connected to an external power source and load is connected to the fixed contact (310). The fixed contact hollow (314) is formed by being sunken into the interior of the fixed contact head (311), the fixed contact body (312), and the fixed contact boss (313).

[0233] The fixed contact hollow (314) extends in the height direction of the fixed contact (310), in the vertical direction in the illustrated embodiment. At this time, one side of the extension direction of the fixed contact hollow (314), the upper side in the illustrated embodiment, is formed as open, so that the cable (not shown) can be inserted. The other side of the extension direction of the fixed contact hollow (314), the lower side in the illustrated embodiment, is closed, so that the insertion distance of the cable (not shown) can be limited.

[0234] The terminal receiving groove (315) is a space for receiving the terminal body (410) of the terminal member (400). The terminal receiving groove (315) is connected to the contact penetration hole (130) and is exposed to the outside of the first housing (100).

[0235] The terminal receiving groove (315) can be defined by being at least partially surrounded by the fixed contact head (311) and the fixed contact boss (313). In the illustrated embodiment, the terminal receiving groove (315) is defined by being surrounded by the upper surface of the fixed contact head (311) and the outer surface of the fixed contact boss (313).

[0236] The shape of the terminal receiving groove (315) can be changed to correspond to the shape of the terminal body (410). In the illustrated embodiment, the terminal receiving groove (315) is formed as a ring-shaped space extending along the outer periphery of the fixed contact boss (313).

[0237] In the above embodiment, the thickness of the terminal receiving groove (315) can be changed in various forms to correspond to the width of the terminal body (410).

[0238] That is, as illustrated in (a) of Fig. 13, the terminal receiving groove (315) may be formed to have a first thickness (t1). In the above embodiment, the terminal body (410) may be formed in an annular shape having a first width (w1).

[0239] In addition, as illustrated in (b) of FIG. 13, the terminal receiving groove (315) may be formed to have a second thickness (t2) that is greater than or equal to the first thickness (t1). In the above embodiment, the terminal body (410) may be formed in an annular shape having a second width (w2) that is greater than or equal to the first width (w1).

[0240] As the thickness of the terminal receiving groove (315) and the width of the terminal body (410) increase, the bonding force between the fixed contact (310) and the terminal member (400) can increase.

[0241] The contact insulating member (320) is positioned between the fixed contact (310) and the arc chamber (330) to electrically insulate the fixed contact (310) and the arc chamber (330). In addition, the contact insulating member (320) can absorb a portion of the vibration generated in either the fixed contact (310) or the arc chamber (330), thereby reducing the intensity of the vibration transmitted to the other.

[0242] The contact insulating member (320) is positioned between the fixed contact (310) and the arc chamber (330) along the height direction of the contact portion (300), i.e., the up-down direction. The contact insulating member (320) can support the fixed contact (310) from the lower side and support the arc chamber (330) from the upper side.

[0243] The contact insulating member (320) may have any shape that can electrically insulate the fixed contact (310) and the arc chamber (330) and dampen vibrations. In the illustrated embodiment, the contact insulating member (320) is formed in a plate shape.

[0244] Additionally, the contact insulating member (320) may be formed of an electrically insulating material and a material having a predetermined elasticity. In one embodiment, the contact insulating member (320) may be formed of rubber, silicone, or a synthetic resin material containing these.

[0245] The arc chamber (330) accommodates the fixed contact body (312) of the fixed contact (310) and the movable contact (360). That is, the arc chamber (330) constitutes a space in which the fixed contact (310) and the movable contact (360) can electrically contact or be separated from each other.

[0246] Additionally, the arc chamber (330) prevents the random leakage of arc generated by the separation of the fixed contact (310) and the movable contact (360). The generated arc can be discharged to the outside after being sufficiently extinguished.

[0247] The arc chamber (330) may be formed of a high-strength, high-heat-resistant, and electrically insulating material. This is to prevent damage caused by pressure and heat generated with the arc, and to prevent any leakage of current flowing through the fixed contact (310) and the movable contact (360). In one embodiment, the arc chamber (330) may be formed of a ceramic material.

[0248] The arc chamber (330) is accommodated in the first housing space (113). The horizontal direction of the arc chamber (330) can be at least partially surrounded by the magnet member (170). As described above, the magnet member (170) forms a magnetic field inside the arc chamber (330).

[0249] The arc chamber (330) may have a shape corresponding to the first housing space (113). In the illustrated embodiment, the arc chamber (330) has a polygonal prism shape in which the width in the left-right direction is longer than the length in the front-back direction and the height in the up-down direction is greater.

[0250] The contact frame (340) supports other components of the contact portion (300), namely the coil member (350), the fixed core (370), the movable core (380), and the shaft (390). In addition, the contact frame (340) supports the arc chamber (330) and the fixed contact (310) coupled thereto. In the illustrated embodiment, the contact frame (340) supports the arc chamber (330) from the lower side.

[0251] The contact frame (340) is accommodated in the second housing space (213). The contact frame (340) may have a shape corresponding to the shape of the second housing space (213). In the illustrated embodiment, the contact frame (340) has a polygonal prism shape in which the width in the left-right direction is longer than the length in the front-back direction and the height in the up-down direction is greater.

[0252] A coil member (350) is positioned inside the contact frame (340).

[0253] The coil member (350) is electrically connected to an external control power source (not shown) to receive a control current. The coil member (350) forms a magnetic field by the received control current. The formed magnetic field can magnetize the fixed core (370) to move the movable core (380).

[0254] The coil member (350) is coupled with the contact frame (340) and accommodated in the second housing space (213). At this time, the coil member (350) is positioned adjacent to the current-conducting opening (220) and can be electrically connected to an external control power source (not shown) by a conductor member (not shown) or the like.

[0255] A hollow space is formed inside the coil member (350). A fixed core (370), a movable core (380), and a shaft (390) are accommodated in the hollow space. Accordingly, the coil member (350) surrounds the fixed core (370), the movable core (380), and the shaft (390) radially outwardly.

[0256] The movable contact (360) is in contact with or separated from the first and second fixed contacts (310a, 310b). The movable contact (360) can be in contact with or separated from the first and second fixed contacts (310a, 310b) simultaneously, and can be energized or cut off simultaneously with them. The movable contact (360) is formed of an electrically conductive material.

[0257] When the movable contact (360) comes into contact with the first and second fixed contacts (310a, 310b), the first and second fixed contacts (310a, 310b) are electrically connected to each other, and an external power source and load that are electrically connected to each of them can also be electrically connected.

[0258] The movable contact (360) may have any shape that can simultaneously contact or be separated from the first and second fixed contacts (310a, 310b). In the illustrated embodiment, the movable contact (360) has a polygonal prism shape that has a length in the left-right direction, a width in the front-back direction, and a height in the up-down direction. In this case, the length of the movable contact (360) may be greater than the separation distance between the first and second fixed contacts (310a, 310b).

[0259] The movable contact (360) is coupled to the movable core (380) by a shaft (390). The movable contact (360) can move together with the movable core (380) and the shaft (390) coupled thereto. The movable contact (360) is movably accommodated within the arc chamber (330). The movable contact (360) can be elevated to come into contact with or be separated from the first and second fixed contacts (310a, 310b).

[0260] The fixed core (370) is magnetized by the magnetic field generated by the coil member (350) and applies a magnetic attractive force to the movable core (380). By the magnetic attractive force applied by the fixed core (370), the movable core (380), the shaft (390), and the movable contact (360) coupled thereto can move toward the fixed contact (310).

[0261] In addition, when the control power supply to the coil member (350) is cut off and the generated magnetic field is extinguished, the fixed core (370) returns to a non-magnetized state. Accordingly, the movable core (380), the shaft (390), and the movable contact (360) coupled thereto can move away from the fixed contact (310).

[0262] The fixed core (370) is positioned in a hollow space formed inside the coil member (350). As the name suggests, the fixed core (370) can be fixedly positioned at a specific location inside the coil member (350). In the illustrated embodiment, the fixed core (370) is positioned between the movable contact (360) and the movable core (380).

[0263] The movable core (380) is moved toward the fixed core (370) by the magnetic attraction force applied by the fixed core (370). By the movement of the movable core (380), the shaft (390) coupled with the movable core (380) and the movable contact (360) coupled thereto can also be moved toward the fixed contact (310).

[0264] Additionally, the elevated movable core (380) moves against the fixed core (370) by its own weight when the fixed core (370) does not apply a magnetic attraction force. By the movement of the movable core (380), the shaft (390) coupled with the movable core (380) and the movable contact (360) coupled thereto can also move against the fixed contact (310).

[0265] The movable core (380) is positioned so as to be able to move up and down in a hollow space formed inside the coil member (350). The movable core (380) is positioned below the fixed core (370) along its direction of movement, i.e., in the up-down direction, and is arranged to face the movable contact (360) with the fixed core (370) interposed therebetween.

[0266] The shaft (390) is coupled to the movable core (380) and the movable contact (360), respectively. The shaft (390) transmits the movement of the movable core (380) to the movable contact (360). The shaft (390) extends between the movable core (380) and the movable contact (360).

[0267] The shaft (390) is movably connected to the fixed core (370). The shaft (390) is movably penetrated through a hollow space (not indicated in the drawing) formed inside the fixed core (370).

[0268] The terminal member (400) substantially performs the function of monitoring information on the status of power supplied to the fixed contact (310). The terminal member (400) is electrically connected to an external inverter (not shown) and a battery (not shown), respectively, so as to transmit the supplied power. The external inverter (not shown) and battery (not shown) can monitor the operating status of the electronic contactor (10) using the current value or voltage value of the supplied power.

[0269] The terminal member (400) is coupled to the first housing (100). Some components of the terminal member (400) are accommodated in the first housing space (113), and other components of the terminal member (400) are exposed to the outside of the first housing (100).

[0270] The terminal member (400) is coupled to the fixed contact (310). The terminal member (400) is electrically connected to the fixed contact (310), so that power in the same state as the power applied to the fixed contact (310) can be applied to the terminal member (400).

[0271] The terminal member (400) may be formed of an electrically conductive material. Additionally, the terminal member (400) may be formed of a high-strength material. In one embodiment, the terminal member (400) may be formed of copper (Cu), iron (Fe), or an alloy material containing them.

[0272] A plurality of terminal members (400) may be provided. The plurality of terminal members (400) are spaced apart from each other and can be connected to and energized by a plurality of fixed contacts (310a, 310b), respectively. In the illustrated embodiment, the terminal members (400) are provided in pairs, including a first terminal member (400a) and a second terminal member (400b).

[0273] The first terminal member (400a) is located on one side of the width direction of the first housing (100), i.e., on the left side, and is coupled to and energized by the first fixed contact (310a). The second terminal member (400b) is located on the other side of the width direction of the first housing (100), i.e., on the right side, and is coupled to and energized by the second fixed contact (310b).

[0274] At this time, the first terminal member (400a) and the second terminal member (400b) are arranged to face each other with the contact insulation partition (140) interposed along the width direction of the first housing (100), i.e., the left-right direction. Accordingly, the first terminal member (400a) and the second terminal member (400b) can be electrically insulated from each other.

[0275] In the embodiments illustrated in FIGS. 14 to 17, the terminal member (400) includes a terminal body (410), a fixed contact receiving space (420), a terminal extension (430), and a housing receiving space (440).

[0276] The terminal body (410) constitutes a part of the terminal member (400). The terminal body (410) is a part of the terminal member (400) where current is transmitted by being connected to the fixed contact (310).

[0277] The terminal body (410) is accommodated in the terminal receiving groove (315). The terminal body (410) is seated on the upper surface of the fixed contact head (311) and surrounds the fixed contact boss (313) radially outwardly. In one embodiment, the inner periphery of the terminal body (410) can be in contact with the outer periphery of the fixed contact boss (313).

[0278] The terminal body (410) may have a shape corresponding to the shape of the terminal receiving groove (315). In the illustrated embodiment, the terminal body (410) has a circular cross-section and a thickness in the vertical direction, and is formed in the shape of an annular plate with a fixed contact receiving space (420) formed therein.

[0279] In the above embodiment, the width of the terminal body (410) can be changed in various forms to correspond to the thickness of the terminal receiving groove (315).

[0280] That is, as illustrated in (a) of Fig. 15, the terminal body (410) may be formed in an annular shape having a first width (w1). In the above embodiment, the terminal receiving groove (315) may be formed to have a first thickness (t1).

[0281] In addition, as illustrated in (b) of FIG. 15, the terminal body (410) may be formed in an annular shape having a second width (w2) that is greater than or equal to the first width (w1). In the above embodiment, the terminal receiving groove (315) may be formed to have a second thickness (t2) that is greater than or equal to the first thickness (t1).

[0282] As described above, as the width of the terminal body (410) and the thickness of the terminal receiving groove (315) increase, the bonding force between the fixed contact (310) and the terminal member (400) can increase.

[0283] Additionally, in the above embodiment, the diameter of the cross-section of the fixed contact receiving space (420) and the diameter of the cross-section of the fixed contact boss (313) can also be changed to correspond to the width of the terminal body (410) and the thickness of the terminal receiving groove (315).

[0284] The fixed contact receiving space (420) is a space formed inside the terminal body (410). The fixed contact receiving space (420) receives the fixed contact boss (313). The fixed contact receiving space (420) is located radially inward of the outer periphery of the terminal body (410).

[0285] The fixed contact receiving space (420) may have a shape corresponding to the shape of the fixed contact boss (313). In the illustrated embodiment, the fixed contact receiving space (420) is formed as a space in the shape of a disk having a circular cross-section and a thickness in the vertical direction.

[0286] The terminal extension (430) is a portion where the terminal member (400) is connected to the first housing (100). The terminal extension (430) is connected to the terminal body (410) and is electrically connected. In addition, some components of the terminal extension (430) are located in the first housing space (113), and other components of the terminal extension (430) are exposed to the outside of the first housing body (110).

[0287] In the illustrated embodiment, the terminal extension (430) includes a first terminal extension (431), a second terminal extension (432), a third terminal extension (433), and a fourth terminal extension (434).

[0288] The first terminal extension (431) is a portion where the terminal extension (430) is continuous with the terminal body (410). The first terminal extension (431) is continuous with one side of the outer circumference of the terminal body (410), the front side outer circumference in the illustrated embodiment.

[0289] The first terminal extension (431) is rounded and extended so as to be convex in the opposite direction to the terminal body (410). In the illustrated embodiment, the first terminal extension (431) is rounded and extended so as to be convex toward the upper front side.

[0290] The first terminal extension (431) is continuous with the second terminal extension (432).

[0291] The second terminal extension (432) constitutes another portion of the terminal extension (430). The second terminal extension (432) is continuous with the end of the first terminal extension (431) and the end of the third terminal extension (433), respectively.

[0292] The second terminal extension (432) extends in the thickness direction of the terminal body (410), in the vertical direction in the illustrated embodiment. One side of the extension direction of the second terminal extension (432), the upper end in the illustrated embodiment, is continuous with the front end of the first terminal extension (431). The other side of the extension direction of the second terminal extension (432), the lower end in the illustrated embodiment, is continuous with the rear end of the third terminal extension (433).

[0293] The third terminal extension (433) constitutes another portion of the terminal extension (430). The third terminal extension (433) is continuous with the end of the second terminal extension (432) and the end of the fourth terminal extension (434), respectively.

[0294] The third terminal extension (433) extends in the width direction of the first housing body (110), in the front-back direction in the illustrated embodiment. One side of the extension direction of the third terminal extension (433), a rear-side end in the illustrated embodiment, is continuous with the lower end of the second terminal extension (432). The other side of the extension direction of the third terminal extension (433), a front-side end in the illustrated embodiment, is continuous with the lower end of the fourth terminal extension (434).

[0295] At this time, the first terminal extension (431) is exposed to the outside of the first housing (100) through the contact penetration hole (130). In addition, the second terminal extension (432) and the third terminal extension (433) are accommodated in the first housing space (113) and are not exposed to the outside.

[0296] The fourth terminal extension (434) constitutes the remainder of the terminal extension (430). The fourth terminal extension (434) is a portion of the terminal extension (430) that is exposed to the outside and is electrically connected to an external inverter (not shown) or battery (not shown). The fourth terminal extension (434) is continuous with the end of the third terminal extension (433).

[0297] The fourth terminal extension (434) extends in the height direction of the first housing body (110), in the vertical direction in the illustrated embodiment. One side of the extension direction of the fourth terminal extension (434), in the illustrated embodiment, the lower end, is continuous with the front end of the third terminal extension (433). The other side of the extension direction of the fourth terminal extension (434), in the illustrated embodiment, the upper end, passes through the terminal through hole (160) and is exposed to the outside of the first housing (100).

[0298] At this time, the other side, i.e., the upper end, of the fourth terminal extension (434) is accommodated in the terminal accommodation space (153) and is positioned so as to be surrounded by the first and second insulating extensions (151, 152).

[0299] As the terminal extension (430) is formed, the terminal member (400), the first housing (100), and the fixed contact (310) can be easily combined.

[0300] The housing receiving space (440) is a space in which the terminal member (400) partially receives the first housing (100). In the illustrated embodiment, the housing receiving space (440) partially receives the support boss (120). The support boss (120) received in the housing receiving space (440) is positioned adjacent to the terminal extension (430) in the length direction and height direction, thereby limiting the movement distance and shape deformation degree of the terminal extension (430).

[0301] The housing receiving space (440) can be defined by being at least partially surrounded by the terminal extension (430). In the illustrated embodiment, one longitudinal side of the housing receiving space (440), i.e., the rear side, is surrounded by the second terminal extension (432), and the other longitudinal side, i.e., the front side, is surrounded by the fourth terminal extension (434). One height-wise side of the housing receiving space (440), i.e., the lower side, is surrounded by the third terminal extension (433). The other height-wise side of the housing receiving space (440), i.e., the upper side, is formed open to partially accommodate the first housing (100).

[0302] Meanwhile, the terminal member (400) may have a structure that can be changed into various shapes corresponding to the structure of the first housing (100).

[0303] That is, as illustrated in (a) of Fig. 16, the second terminal extension (432) can be formed to have a first length (h1). In the above embodiment, the third terminal extension (433) is arranged to be spaced apart from the terminal support (121) and the arc chamber (330) in the vertical direction.

[0304] In addition, as illustrated in (b) of FIG. 16, the second terminal extension (432) may be formed to have a second length (h2) that is greater than or equal to the first length (h1). In the above embodiment, the third terminal extension (433) may be spaced apart from the terminal support (121) in the vertical direction, but may be supported by being mounted on the contact insulating member (320) or the arc chamber (330).

[0305] Referring to FIG. 17, various embodiments in which a terminal member (400) is coupled to a fixed contact (310) are illustrated. The terminal member (400) may be coupled to the fixed contact (310) in any manner. In one embodiment, the terminal member (400) may be coupled to the fixed contact (310) by means of laser welding or ultrasonic welding, etc.

[0306] At this time, since vibration is not generated in the case of laser welding, there is an advantage in that physical damage to the arc chamber (330) combined with the fixed contact (310) is prevented. In addition, since heat is not generated in the case of ultrasonic welding, there is an advantage in that thermal deformation of the fixed contact (310) or the terminal member (400) combined with the fixed contact (310) is prevented.

[0307] Referring to Fig. 17, the terminal member (400) can be coupled with the fixed contact (310) at multiple points. At this time, among the parts of the terminal body (410), one part facing the first terminal extension (431) is necessarily coupled with the fixed contact (310), and the other parts can be coupled with the fixed contact (310) at one or more points.

[0308] The above part of the terminal body (410) can be coupled with the upper surface of the fixed contact head (311). The part where the above part of the terminal body (410) is coupled with the upper surface of the fixed contact head (311) can be defined as the main spot (ms).

[0309] That is, the above-mentioned part of the terminal body (410) is continuous with the first to fourth terminal extensions (431, 432, 433, 434) that are spaced apart from the fixed contact (310). Therefore, in order to ensure stable coupling between the terminal member (400) and the fixed contact (310), it is preferable that the above-mentioned part of the terminal body (410) is coupled with the fixed contact (310) at least one point.

[0310] In the illustrated embodiment, a single main spot (ms) is formed. Alternatively, a plurality of main spots (ms) may be formed, such that a portion of the terminal body (410) may be coupled to the fixed contact (310) at a plurality of points.

[0311] Additionally, another part of the terminal body (410) may also be coupled with the upper surface of the fixed contact head (311). The part where another part of the terminal body (410) is coupled with the upper surface of the fixed contact head (311) may be defined as a sub spot (ss).

[0312] As described above, the terminal body (410) is received in the terminal receiving groove (315) and is seated on the upper surface of the fixed contact head (311).

[0313] At this time, if only the main spot (ms) is formed, there is a possibility that the other part of the terminal body (410), i.e., the rear side in the illustrated embodiment, may be randomly detached from the terminal receiving groove (315). Therefore, in order to stably maintain the state in which the terminal body (410) is received in the terminal receiving groove (315), it is preferable that the other part of the terminal body (410) is also coupled to the fixed contact (310) at at least one point.

[0314] In an embodiment where a plurality of sub spots (ss) are formed, the plurality of sub spots (ss) may be arranged to form a predetermined angle with respect to the center (C) of the terminal body (410).

[0315] That is, in the embodiment illustrated in (a) of Fig. 17, a total of three sub spots (ss) are formed. The three sub spots (ss) are arranged so as to form a right angle with respect to the center (C). At this time, the main spot (ms) may also be arranged so as to form a right angle with respect to the center (C) and the adjacent sub spots (ss).

[0316] Additionally, in the embodiment illustrated in (b) of Fig. 17, a total of two sub spots (ss) are formed. The two sub spots (ss) are arranged to form a 120° angle with respect to the center (C). At this time, the main spot (ms) may also be arranged to form a 120° angle with respect to the center (C) with respect to the adjacent sub spot (ss).

[0317] The main spot (ms) and sub spot (ss) can be formed in any shape including at least one main spot (ms).

[0318]

[0319] Referring to FIG. 18, a process of assembling an electronic contactor (10) according to an embodiment of the present invention is illustrated as an example.

[0320] First, the arc chamber (330) is moved downward and coupled with the contact frame (340) to accommodate the movable contact (360) (①). Next, the contact insulating member (320) is moved downward and placed in the arc chamber (330) (②).

[0321] Additionally, the fixed contact (310) is moved downward and penetrates the contact insulating member (320) and the arc chamber (330) (③). The terminal member (400) is also moved downward and coupled with the fixed contact (310) (④). Finally, the first housing (100) is moved downward and at least partially accommodates the contact portion (300) and the terminal member (400) and is coupled with the second housing (200) (⑤).
