Abstract
Description
[0001] Elevator system with speed limiter and regulator rope
[0002] Technical area
[0003] The present invention relates to elevator systems for transporting persons and / or goods, each comprising: a vertically extending elevator shaft, a car movable along the elevator shaft by means of a support means, a drive for driving the car, a speed limiter, and a governor cable interacting with the speed limiter. The present invention further relates to speed limiter systems for such an elevator system, each comprising: a speed limiter and a governor cable interacting with the speed limiter. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a method for compensating for elongation of the governor cable in such an elevator system.
[0004] Background of the invention
[0005] Elevator systems for transporting people and / or goods are an integral part of modern residential and commercial buildings. A typical elevator system comprises one or more elevator shafts in which one or more elevator cars are moved between landing positions by means of drives. Driven traction sheaves, which drive one or more support elements, or linear drives are used as drive mechanisms, for example.
[0006] It is common practice to provide overspeed governors in such elevator systems. Overspeed governors include, for example, a centrifugal governor that interacts with a governor rope. If the elevator car exceeds its speed, the governor rope is blocked by the governor, subsequently applying a brake. For the overspeed governor to function, it is essential that the governor rope has a certain pretension. However, particularly after the installation of an elevator system, the governor rope elongates, causing the pretension to fall below the specified level, making repeated retensioning of the governor rope necessary. For example, it has been known to attach the governor rope at its ends to rope pulleys, with the rope being pulled further through the pulley to retension. The disadvantage is that this is very time-consuming. Pulling the governor cable through the cable block and / or positioning the governor cable on the cable block may be complicated by a previous clamping point on the governor cable, and it can only be checked whether the elongation has been correctly compensated after all components have been fully assembled. Therefore, the process may have to be repeated several times until the correct pretension of the governor cable is achieved.
[0007] WO 2014 / 082971 A1 discloses an elevator system for a building under construction, in which the speed governor comprises a centrifugal governor mounted on the elevator car. A governor rope extends between a machine room and a rope tensioning device in a lower shaft area over the centrifugal governor and is held in the rope tensioning device. A further section of the governor rope is stored away from the rope tensioning device for retraction when the machine room is relocated.
[0008] Description of the invention
[0009] Based on this situation, it is an object of the present invention to propose an elevator system in which the retensioning of the regulator rope is easily possible.
[0010] The object of the invention is achieved by the features of the independent main claims. Advantageous embodiments are specified in the subclaims. To the extent technically feasible, the teachings of the subclaims can be combined arbitrarily with the teachings of the main and subclaims. In particular, the object is accordingly achieved by a first alternative of an elevator system for transporting persons and / or goods, comprising: a vertically extending elevator shaft, a car which can be moved along the elevator shaft by means of a support means, a drive for driving the car, a speed limiter and a governor cable which interacts with the speed limiter, wherein the governor cable is held at a first end on the car or on the elevator shaft in a first receptacle, wherein the governor cable is held at a second end by means of an adapter on the car or on the elevator shaft in a second receptacle, wherein the adapter has a plurality of receptacles arranged in a row and the governor cable is held on a receptacle at an end of the adapter which is opposite the second receptacle, and wherein the receptacles are designed to be separated from one another.
[0011] Furthermore, the object is achieved by a second alternative of an elevator system for transporting persons and / or goods, comprising: a vertically extending elevator shaft, a car movable along the elevator shaft by means of a support means, a drive for driving the car, a speed limiter and a control cable cooperating with the speed limiter, wherein the control cable is held at a first end on the car or on the elevator shaft in a first receptacle, wherein the control cable is held at a second end by means of an adapter on the car or on the elevator shaft in a second receptacle, wherein the adapter has a plurality of receptacles arranged in a row and the adapter is held on the second receptacle by means of a receptacle at an end of the adapter opposite the second end of the control cable, and wherein the receptacles are designed toto be separated from each other. The receptacle of one receptacle piece can then be connected or is connected to the second receptacle, for example, via a connecting means. The second alternative is a reversal of the first alternative with regard to the adapter, whereby in the first alternative the second end is held by detachable receptacle pieces, and in the second alternative the second receptacle is held by detachable receptacle pieces. Obviously, both the second end and the second receptacle can also be held by detachable receptacle pieces, whereby the adapter is then formed, for example, only by the receptacle pieces.
[0012] Advantageous aspects of the claimed invention are explained below, and preferred modified embodiments of the invention are further described below. Explanations, particularly regarding advantages and definitions of features, are essentially descriptive and preferred, but not limiting, examples. If an explanation is limiting, this will be expressly stated.
[0013] Where elements are designated by numbering, for example “first element”, “second element” and “third element”, this numbering is intended purely to differentiate the designation and does not represent any dependency of the elements on one another or a mandatory order of the elements. This means in particular that, for example, a device or a method does not have to have a “first element” in order to be able to have a “second element”. The device or method can also have a “first element” and a “third element” without necessarily having a “second element”. Multiple units of an element with a single numbering can also be provided, for example multiple “first elements”.
[0014] An elevator system comprises, in particular, at least one vertically extending elevator shaft with a plurality of landing doors, in particular to several floors of a building. The elevator car then comprises a car door, which is designed to interact with a landing door in a landing position of the elevator car to provide access to the elevator car.
[0015] A suspension element is designed, in particular, as a rope, belt, chain, or the like and carries tensile loads along its longitudinal extension. If the suspension element is designed as a closed loop, its ends form a tensile-resistant connection.
[0016] A drive is in particular a traction sheave driven by a drive device, wherein the support means rests against the traction sheave with sufficient static friction to apply a drive torque to the support means.
[0017] The drive device is, for example, an electric machine, a pneumatic motor or a hydraulic motor and acts directly or via a gear on the driven deflection device.
[0018] A speed limiter is a device for triggering braking or blocking the elevator car when an excess speed occurs. For the purposes of the invention, an excess speed is a speed that exceeds a defined limit. The limit corresponds in particular to a maximum permissible travel speed in an elevator system or is related to such a maximum permissible travel speed. The excess speed can be defined the same or differently in the first and second directions. In particular, a speed limiter has a centrifugal governor in which, depending on the speed of the elevator car, a centrifugal force occurs which, when a limit is exceeded, blocks the governor cable to trigger braking or blocking.
[0019] One end of the governor cable is understood to be its termination. If a loop or the like is formed at the end of the governor cable, the loop is understood to be the end, regardless of whether a strand of the governor cable runs back from the loop and the end of the strand is located away from the termination. If one end is held on the elevator car or elevator shaft, this is connected, for example, directly and without a functional intermediate component to the receptacle designed to hold the governor cable. If the end is held on the elevator car or elevator shaft by means of an adapter, the adapter is arranged between the end and the receptacle in a force-transmitting manner. It is also within the meaning of the invention if both ends of the governor cable are held on their receptacles by means of the adapters described above.
[0020] A receiving piece is defined by the fact that it has a defined spatial extension and, within this extension, a receptacle for one end of the governor cable or for a connection to the second receptacle. If the receiving pieces are designed to be separated from one another, the adapter is nevertheless sufficiently strong (in terms of tensile strength) to operate the overspeed governor. The separation is therefore not caused by the overspeed governor being triggered. In particular, to effect the separation, a specific force must be applied in a direction deviating from the direction of force flow when the overspeed governor is triggered, or a specific tool must be used. It is particularly preferred to apply a force to separate the receiving pieces that can be applied manually or using a simple hand tool, so that no complex machining of the adapter is required to compensate for the elongation.
[0021] The solution to the problem with the elevator systems described above now includes the technical teaching that the adapter can be shortened by cutting off individual receiving pieces, and thus an elongation of the governor rope can be compensated for by shortening the adapter, whereby the distance bridged by the adapter between the second end and the second holder is shortened. The second end or the second holder is always attached or held to the outer receiving piece (after the receiving pieces have been cut off). In this way, the governor rope itself can remain unchanged in its (elongated) length between the first end and the second end, in particular eliminating the need for the laborious process of pulling it through a rope block or another method for changing the length of the governor rope. Retensioning the governor rope is advantageously particularly easy to carry out in the elevator system.Furthermore, the adapter can be shortened by a defined length using the known or at least easily measurable length of each receiving piece to be separated. This allows the elongation to be immediately and correctly compensated for after measuring the length, thus allowing the pretension of the governor cable to be correctly adjusted in a single attempt. Furthermore, since the governor cable does not need to be re-tightened using a cable pulley, difficulties caused by a previous clamping point on the governor cable are eliminated.
[0022] In one embodiment of the elevator system, the receiving pieces are designed as identical parts. Each receiving piece then corresponds to a specific distance by which the distance bridged by the adapter between the second end and the second receptacle is shortened. In particular, the length of each receiving piece is selected such that it lies within a tolerance range for achieving correct preload. Furthermore, the length is advantageously selected such that it corresponds to a minimum dimension for providing the receptacle on the respective receiving piece without creating a weak point in the material of the adapter.
[0023] In a further embodiment of the elevator system, the adapter is made of a metal sheet. A metal sheet advantageously exhibits high strength parallel to the plane of its spatial extension, while the small thickness allows for easy separation of two receiving pieces, for example, using a cutting or clamping tool. Furthermore, the receiving pieces can be easily separated from one another.
[0024] In yet another embodiment of the elevator system, the receiving pieces are designed to be separated from one another by means of punched-out sections, grooves, or perforations. This advantageously simplifies separation and can be performed, for example, manually or using a hand tool with relatively little effort. In particular, the individual receiving pieces can be repeatedly bent or folded toward one another to ultimately achieve separation.
[0025] In yet another embodiment of the elevator system, the governor rope is held at the first end and at the second end to the elevator car, wherein the governor rope is connected at the first end and / or the second end to a rod assembly of a safety gear. If the governor rope is then blocked by the speed governor, further movement of the elevator car actuates the rod assembly of the safety gear. Alternatively, one of the governor rope ends can be held in the elevator shaft, wherein, for example, the speed governor is then arranged directly on the elevator car and, in the event of excess speed, acts on a rod assembly of a safety gear. Alternatively, both ends of the governor rope can be fixed in the elevator shaft, wherein, for example, the speed governor is then arranged directly on the elevator car and, in the event of excess speed, acts on a rod assembly of a safety gear.Furthermore, alternatively, one end of the governor rope can also be held on a counterweight of the elevator system corresponding to the car. In one embodiment of the aforementioned embodiment, a centrifugal governor of the overspeed governor is arranged in a machine room located above the elevator shaft or in a head of the elevator shaft. The centrifugal governor is then arranged in a particularly space-saving manner and is also advantageous for performing its function. In a further embodiment of the aforementioned embodiment, a rope tensioning device of the overspeed governor is arranged in a pit in the elevator shaft. The rope tensioning device is designed to adjust the pretension to a limited extent, i.e. until the governor rope becomes excessively elongated. The cable tensioning device particularly advantageously enables the desired pre-tension to be precisely adjusted even if the adapter is shortened to a discrete length when a receiving piece is removed, thus preventing the discrete length from leading to either too little or too much pre-tension.
[0026] In another embodiment of the elevator system, the governor rope is constructed as a steel rope. This makes the governor rope particularly stable and exhibits relatively low elongation, so that compensation for elongation only needs to be performed rarely or after relatively long downtimes.
[0027] In yet another embodiment of the elevator system, the first end of the governor rope and / or the second end of the governor rope is / are formed by a rope block, wherein in each case the governor rope is deflected in the rope block and wherein in each case a leading strand of the governor rope and a returning strand of the governor rope are connected to one another in front of the respective rope block, in particular by means of a rope clamp. The end of the governor rope is then particularly stable, and the rope block enables easy connection of the end to the adapter or the receiving piece. In a preferred embodiment, the rope block is held by means of a bolt, pin, or rivet in a hole-shaped receptacle in the adapter or a receiving piece or in the first receptacle.
[0028] The task is further solved by a first alternative of a
[0029] Speed limiter system for a previously described elevator installation, comprising a speed limiter and a controller cable cooperating with the speed limiter, wherein the controller cable is configured at a first end to be held on a first receptacle of a car or the elevator shaft, wherein the controller cable is connected at a second end to an adapter, wherein the adapter is configured to be held on a second receptacle of a car or the elevator shaft, wherein the adapter has a plurality of receptacles arranged in a row and the controller cable is held on a receptacle at an end of the adapter opposite the end of the adapter configured to be held on the second receptacle, and wherein the receptacles are configured to be separated from one another. The advantages to be achieved with the speed limiter system in the first alternative correspond to the advantages described above with regard to the first alternative of the elevator system.
[0030] The object is further achieved by a second alternative of a speed limiter system for a previously described elevator installation, comprising a speed limiter and a regulator cable interacting with the speed limiter, wherein the regulator cable is designed at a first end to be held on a first receptacle of a car or the elevator shaft, wherein the regulator cable is connected at a second end to an adapter, wherein the adapter is designed to be held on a second receptacle of a car or the elevator shaft, wherein the adapter has a plurality of receptacles arranged in a row and a receptacle is designed at an end of the adapter opposite the second end of the regulator cable to be held on the second receptacle, and wherein the receptacles are designed to be separated from one another. The advantages to be achieved with the speed limiter system in the second alternative correspond to the advantages described above with regard to the second alternative of the elevator system.
[0031] The object is further achieved by a method for compensating for elongation of the governor rope in a previously described elevator system, comprising the steps of: relieving the governor rope, detaching the second end of the governor rope or the second receptacle from the adapter, detaching at least one receptacle from the adapter, and connecting the second end of the governor rope or the second receptacle to a receptacle at the end of the adapter newly created by the detachment. As already apparent from the description of the advantages of the previously described elevator systems and speed limiter systems, the method allows for compensating for elongation of the governor rope particularly easily and in a single operation to achieve the correct pretension.
[0032] It is preferred that the sequence of process steps can be varied, unless technically required in an explicit order. However, the aforementioned sequence of process steps is particularly preferred.
[0033] In one embodiment of the method, the method comprises measuring the elongation of the governor cable, with the number of support pieces to be cut off being selected according to the measured elongation. In particular, the measurement is performed before the governor cable is relieved of load. The elongation can then be correctly compensated for in a single step, with precise adjustment of the pretension, particularly by a cable tensioning device of the overspeed governor.

[0036] The drawings show
[0037] Fig. 1 is a schematic representation of an elevator system according to an embodiment of the invention;
[0038] Fig. 2 is a detailed view of two ends of a control cable attached to a car according to a preferred embodiment of the invention; and Fig. 3 is a diagram of a method according to one aspect of the invention.
[0039] Detailed description of the drawings
[0040] The described embodiments are merely examples that can be modified and / or supplemented in a variety of ways within the scope of protection defined by the claims. Each feature described for a specific embodiment can be used independently or in combination with other features in any other embodiment. Each feature described for an embodiment of a specific claim category can also be used correspondingly in an embodiment of another claim category.
[0041] Figure 1 shows an elevator installation 1 with a vertical elevator shaft 2, which has several landing positions 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, and 2.4 with elevator shaft doors provided there. Between the landing positions 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, and 2.4, a car 3 is movable in the elevator shaft 2 by means of a drive (not shown in detail), which has a car door 3.1.
[0042] The elevator system 1 has a speed governor 4, which is formed by a centrifugal governor 4.1 in a head 5.1 of the elevator shaft 2 and a tensioning device 4.2 in a pit 5.2 of the elevator shaft 2 and interacts with a governor cable 6. The speed governor 4 and the governor cable 6 together form a speed governor system 1.1. The governor cable 6 is formed as a loop and runs between a first end 6.1 held on the elevator car 3 and a second end 6.2, also held on the elevator car 3, in the elevator shaft 2. The governor cable 6 is guided in the centrifugal governor 4.1, the cable tensioning device 4.2, and two deflection pulleys 7.1, 7.2. The governor cable 6 is attached to the elevator car 3 by a simplified rod assembly 8 of a safety gear (not shown in detail). If the governor cable 6 is triggered by the centrifugal governor 4.1 is braked or blocked, the rod assembly 8 is actuated by the control cable 6 to trigger the safety gear. The first end 6.1 of the control cable 6 is held directly to the rod assembly 8. The second end 6.1 of the control cable 6 is held at a second end 9.3 of an adapter 9, which in turn is held by a first end 9.2 to the second receptacle 12.2. The adapter 9 has several receptacles 9.1 that are designed to be separable from one another.
[0043] Figure 2 shows the arrangement of the control cable 6 on the elevator car 3 or the rod assembly 8 and the adapter 9 in detail. The ends 6.1, 6.2 of the control cable 6 are formed by cable blocks 10, into each of which a leading strand of the control cable 6 is guided and a returning strand of the control cable 6 is guided out, wherein the leading strand and the returning strand are connected to one another by means of a cable clamp 11. The first end 6.1 is held directly to a first receptacle 12.1 of the rod assembly 8 or the elevator car 3 by means of a bolt 13. A first end 9.2 of the adapter 9 is held to a second receptacle 12.2 of the rod assembly 8 or the elevator car 3 by means of a screw connection 14. A second end 9.3 is formed by the outermost of the receiving pieces 9.1, to which the second end 6.2 of the regulator cable 6 is held by means of a bolt 15. To hold the second end 6.2 of the regulator cable 6, the receiving pieces 9.1 each have receptacles 16 formed as holes. Furthermore, the receptacles 9.1 each have punched-out portions 17, so that they are connected to one another only by means of webs. The webs provide sufficient strength in the pulling direction of the governor cable 6 to transmit the forces occurring when the overspeed governor 4 is triggered, without causing the second receptacles 9.1 to separate. If one or more receptacles 9.1 are severed from the second end 9.3 to compensate for an elongation of the governor cable 6, this is done, for example, by repeatedly bending the receptacles 9.1 at the corresponding punched-out portion 17 or by separating the webs using side cutters.
[0044] Figure 3 shows a schematic representation of a method 20 for compensating for elongation of the governor rope 6 in an elevator installation 1. In a first step 21, the elongation of the governor rope 6 is measured. In a second step 22, the load on the governor rope 6 is relieved, for example by appropriately adjusting the rope tensioning device 4.2. In a third step 23, the second end 6.2 of the governor rope 6 is detached from the adapter 9 by unlocking and removing the bolt 16, and the rope block 10 forming the second end 6.2 is then pulled off the adapter 9 or receiving piece 9.1. In a fourth step 24, at least one receiving piece 9.1 is separated from the adapter 9, for example by repeatedly bending it or using a hand tool. The number of receiving pieces 9.1 to be separated or separated is selected according to the elongation measured in the first step 21.In a fifth step 25 concluding the method 20, the second end 6.2 of the regulator cable 6 is connected to a receiving piece 9.1 on the second end 9.3 of the adapter 9 newly created by the separation.
