Abstract
Description
anaerobic microbial culture device
[0001] The present invention relates to a culture device, and more particularly, to an anaerobic microorganism culture device that not only enables the smooth cultivation of anaerobic microorganisms by stably maintaining an anaerobic environment in which no oxygen exists, but also reduces the hassle of transporting and loading anaerobic microorganisms between the receiving unit and the loading unit by automatically transporting and loading anaerobic microorganisms introduced into the receiving unit to the loading unit.
[0002] The use of various microorganisms for the treatment of diseases and other purposes is increasing.
[0003] Accordingly, specific microorganisms are mass-produced through cultivation using a microbial culture device.
[0004] At this time, among the microorganisms, there are anaerobic microorganisms such as Clostridium botulinum.
[0005] Anaerobic microorganisms grow in an environment without oxygen, so an anaerobic environment must be continuously maintained for stable cultivation of anaerobic microorganisms.
[0006] However, since the general microbial culture device inevitably introduces oxygen contained in the air during the opening and closing process, it is difficult to create an anaerobic environment, and thus there was a problem that it could not be applied to the cultivation of anaerobic microorganisms.
[0007] For this reason, various 'anaerobic microbial cultivation devices' have been proposed, such as those disclosed in Korean Patent Publication No. 10-2013-0054721.
[0008] However, conventional anaerobic microbial culture devices had the problem that it was difficult to cultivate large quantities of anaerobic microorganisms due to the narrow culture space, and in particular, there was the problem that the anaerobic environment was unstable because the inflow of oxygen could not be completely blocked. In addition, there was a significant problem of inconvenience and time consumption because the transport and loading of anaerobic microorganisms were done manually.
[0009] For the above reasons, the field is attempting to develop an anaerobic microbial cultivation device that not only allows an anaerobic environment without oxygen to be stably maintained, but also reduces the hassle of transporting and loading anaerobic microorganisms. However, satisfactory results have not been achieved to date.

[0017] The anaerobic microorganism cultivation device according to the present invention has a gas exchange module arranged in the main body, and as the air inside the receiving portion and the loading portion is replaced with anaerobic gas by the gas exchange module, an anaerobic environment can be created inside the receiving portion and the loading portion, so that the cultivation of anaerobic microorganisms can be facilitated.
[0018] The anaerobic microbial culture device according to the present invention includes a support module and a transport module, and the culture block fed into the receiving section is transported to the loading section by the support module and the transport module and can be loaded into any one compartment of the culture rack, thereby reducing the hassle of transporting and loading the culture block.
[0019]
[0020] *The anaerobic microorganism cultivation device according to the present invention may further include a temperature control module in the main body, and the temperature inside the main body can be controlled by the temperature control module, so that the cultivation temperature is maintained at a roughly constant level, thereby enabling the cultivation of anaerobic microorganisms to proceed more smoothly.
[0021] The anaerobic microbial culture device according to the present invention may further include an ultraviolet lamp in the main body, so that the receiving portion and the loading portion can be sterilized by ultraviolet light irradiation by the ultraviolet lamp, and thus the main body can be managed more hygienically.

[0036] Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail based on the attached drawings.
[0037]
[0038] As illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, the anaerobic microbial culture device (A) according to the present invention includes a main body (100); a support module (200); a transport module (300); and a controller (400).
[0039] The main body (100) of the present invention creates an anaerobic environment as the gas exchange module (110) disposed on one side is operated to replace the internal air with anaerobic gas.
[0040] At this time, the internal space of the main body (100) is divided into a receiving section (100a) in which a culture block (B) introduced from the outside is received, and a loading section (100b) in which a culture block (B) introduced from the receiving section (100a) is loaded into one of the compartments of the culture rack (120).
[0041] Here, the receiving portion (100a) can be opened by opening the external door (101) that is openably arranged on the front of the main body (100). That is, the opening and closing of the receiving portion (100a) can be controlled by the external door (101).
[0042] And the loading section (100b) can be opened by opening the inner door (102) that is openably arranged between the receiving section (100a) and the loading section (100b). That is, the opening and closing of the loading section (100b) can be controlled by the inner door (102).
[0043] Additionally, the main body (100) may include a temperature control module (130) arranged on one side.
[0044] Therefore, the internal temperature of the receiving portion (100a) and the loading portion (100b) can be controlled by the temperature control module (130).
[0045] At this time, the temperature control module (130) may be of any conventional structure and method as long as it can control the internal temperature of the receiving portion (100a) and the loading portion (100b) to a preset temperature. Therefore, a detailed description of the temperature control module (130) is omitted.
[0046] However, it is preferable that the temperature control module (130) include a thermoelectric element (131).
[0047] Since the temperature control module (130) includes a thermoelectric element (131), the internal temperature can be controlled by cooling and heating the air inside the receiving portion (100a) and the loading portion (100b) through heat absorption and heat generation of the thermoelectric element (131).
[0048] Here, a water receiver (not shown in the drawing) may be placed at the bottom of the thermoelectric element (131).
[0049] Therefore, in the gas substitution process by the gas substitution module (110), oxygen contained in the air inside the receiving portion (100a) and the loading portion (100b) combines with hydrogen through a catalytic reaction, and the generated water forms on the surface of the thermoelectric element (131) and falls to the lower water receiver, and flows out along a hose (not shown in the drawing) leading to the outside, thereby being discharged to the outside of the main body (100).
[0050] Additionally, the main body (100) may include an ultraviolet lamp (140) placed in each of the receiving portion (100a) and the loading portion (100b).
[0051] Therefore, sterilization of the receiving portion (100a) and the loading portion (100b) can be achieved by irradiating ultraviolet light with an ultraviolet lamp (140).
[0052] Additionally, the main body (100) may include a camera module (150) placed on the upper surface.
[0053] Therefore, the cultivation status of anaerobic microorganisms can be confirmed by photographing the inside of the loading section (100b) through the camera module (150), and more specifically, by photographing the inside of the culture block (B) pulled out from one of the culture racks (120) to the support module (200) placed in the passage (103) of the loading section (100b).
[0054] And the culture block (B) accommodated in the receiving portion (100a) of the main body (100) can accommodate a plurality of transparent containers (B1) inoculated with anaerobic microorganisms.
[0055] Therefore, a large amount of anaerobic microorganisms can be cultured at once through the anaerobic microorganism culture device (A) according to the present invention.
[0056] And the culture block (B) accommodated in the receiving portion (100a) of the main body (100) is formed in the form of a box with an open top, so that the anaerobic microorganisms inoculated inside, i.e., the transparent container (B1), can be revealed through the open top.
[0057] And, as shown in Fig. 6, the culture block (B) accommodated in the receiving portion (100a) of the main body (100) includes ventilation holes (B2) formed on the front, back, and both sides, so that internal air can circulate through the ventilation holes (B2).
[0058] And, the culture rack (120) provided in the loading section (100b) of the main body (100) is composed of multiple stages and multiple compartments, so that multiple culture blocks (B) can be loaded.
[0059] At this time, the culture racks (120) are provided in pairs and are arranged to face each other with the passage (103) of the loading section (100b) in between, so that a larger number of culture blocks (B) can be loaded by the culture racks (120).
[0060] Meanwhile, the gas exchange module (110) in the main body (100) includes a first injector (111) for injecting culture gas into at least one of the receiving portion (100a) and the loading portion (100b), for example, the inside of the loading portion (100b); and a second injector (112) for injecting anaerobic gas into at least one of the receiving portion (100a) and the loading portion (100b), for example, the inside of the receiving portion (100a); so that when the first injector (111) and the second injector (112) are operated, the inside of the receiving portion (100a) and the loading portion (100b) is filled with culture gas, and existing air can be replaced with anaerobic gas.
[0061] At this time, there is no limitation on the anaerobic gas injected by the second injector (112), and an example thereof may be nitrogen gas.
[0062] And, since the receiving portion (100a) and the loading portion (100b) are connected to each other when the inner door (102) is opened, even if culture gas or anaerobic gas is supplied to only one of the receiving portion (100a) and the loading portion (100b), it can affect the other, so that the existing air can be replaced with anaerobic gas as the culture gas is filled inside the receiving portion (100a) and the loading portion (100b).
[0063] The support module (200) of the present invention is arranged in each compartment of the passage (103) of the receiving section (100a), the loading section (100b), and the culture rack (120) to support the culture block (B).
[0064] At this time, the support module (200) includes a pair of conveyors (210) arranged on both side portions, so that the culture block (B) settled on the upper surface can move back and forth by the operation of the conveyors (210).
[0065] And the support module (200) includes at least one first detection member (220) arranged on the upper surface, thereby being able to detect the settling of the culture block (B) by the first detection member (220).
[0066] And the support module (200) includes a second sensing member (230) arranged on at least one of the front and back surfaces, so that the position of the culture rack (120), more specifically, the position of each compartment of the culture rack (120), can be detected by the second sensing member (230).
[0067] Meanwhile, the first sensing member (220) may be of any conventional structure and method as long as it can accurately detect the placement of the culture block (B), and the second sensing member (230) may be of any conventional structure and method as long as it can detect the position of the culture rack (120), more specifically, the position of each compartment of the culture rack (120). Therefore, detailed descriptions of the first sensing member (220) and the second sensing member (230) are omitted.
[0068] The transport module (300) of the present invention is placed inside the main body (100) and moves the support module (200) placed in the passage (103) of the loading part (100b).
[0069] At this time, the transport module (300) includes a cart (310) placed on a guide rail (320) installed on the bottom of the loading section (100b), so that as the cart (310) moves on the guide rail (320), the support module (200) that is placed on the upper surface of the cart (310), more specifically, among the plurality of support modules (200), the support module (200) placed in the passage (103) of the loading section (100b) can move along the longitudinal direction of the culture rack (120).
[0070] And the transport module (300) includes an elevating module (330) that elevates the cart (310), so that the support module (200) mounted on the cart (310) can be elevated by the elevation of the elevating module (330).
[0071] At this time, the lifting module (330) includes a screw (331) that rotates by driving a motor (332); and a movable block (333) that is connected to one end of a carriage (310) while being helically engaged with the screw (331), so that as the screw (331) rotates by driving the motor (332), the movable block (333) is lifted and thus the carriage (310) can be lifted.
[0072] Additionally, the bogie (310) may include a rotation module (340) disposed on the upper surface.
[0073] Accordingly, the support module (200) mounted on the upper surface of the bogie (310) can rotate by the rotation of the rotation module (not shown in the drawing) provided therein, or by the rotation of the rotation module (340) provided on the bogie.
[0074] At this time, the rotation module (340) includes a rotation plate (341) that rotates stepwise at an angle of 90° by a motor (not shown in the drawing), so that the support module (200) can rotate as the rotation plate (341) rotates stepwise by the motor.
[0075] The controller (400) of the present invention is placed outside the main body (100) and controls the operation of the main body (100), gas exchange module (110), support module (200), and transport module (300).
[0076] A controller (400) like this may have any conventional structure and method as long as it can control the operation of the gas exchange module (110), support module (200), and transport module (300), and a detailed description of the controller (400) is omitted.
[0077]
[0078] The cultivation of anaerobic microorganisms using the anaerobic microorganism cultivation device (A) according to the present invention is described in detail as follows.
[0079] First, as shown in Fig. 3, a culture block (B) containing multiple transparent containers (B1) inoculated with anaerobic microorganisms is introduced into the receiving section (100a).
[0080] At this time, the receiving portion (100a) can be opened as the external door (101) provided in the main body (100) is opened, thereby allowing the introduction of the culture block (B) into the receiving portion (100a).
[0081] Here, the culture block (B) introduced into the receiving portion (100a) is placed on the support module (200) placed in the receiving portion (100a).
[0082] Next, the air inside the main body (100) is replaced with anaerobic gas.
[0083] In the present invention, a gas exchange module (110) is arranged on one side of the main body (100). As shown in FIG. 13, after the culture block (B) is introduced into the receiving portion (100a), the gas exchange module (110) operates with the external door (101) closed, so that the air inside the receiving portion (100a) and the loading portion (100b) can be replaced with anaerobic gas, thereby creating an anaerobic environment.
[0084] Here, the gas exchange module (110) includes a first injector (111) that injects culture gas into the receiving portion (100a) and the loading portion (100b); and a second injector (112) that injects anaerobic gas into the receiving portion (100a) and the loading portion (100b). As the first injector (111) and the second injector (112) operate, the receiving portion (100a) and the loading portion (100b) are filled with culture gas, and the existing air can be replaced with anaerobic gas.
[0085] Next, as shown in Fig. 4, the culture block (B) placed in the receiving portion (100a) is moved to the support module (200) located in the passage (103) of the loading portion (100b).
[0086] At this time, each of the support modules (200) of the present invention includes a conveyor (210), and when the support module (200) of the passage (103) of the loading section (100b) moves toward the support module (200) of the receiving section (100a), at least one conveyor (210) among the support module (200) of the receiving section (100a) and the support module (200) of the passage (103) of the loading section (100b) rotates, the culture block (B) can be moved from the support module (200) of the receiving section (100a) to the support module (200) of the passage (103) of the loading section (100b).
[0087] Here, movement of the support module (200) in the passage (103) of the loading unit (100b) can be achieved by the transport module (300).
[0088] That is, the support module (200) arranged in the passage (103) of the loading section (100b) is mounted on the carriage (310) of the transport module (300) as shown in FIG. 7, and as the carriage (310) moves on the guide rail (320) as shown in FIG. 8, the support module (200) arranged in the passage (103) of the loading section (100b) can move toward the support module (200) of the receiving section (100a).
[0089] Next, as shown in Fig. 5, the culture block (B) placed on the support module (200) arranged in the passage (103) of the loading unit (100b) is moved to the support module (200) located in one of the culture racks (120).
[0090] At this time, the support module (200) placed in the passage (103) of the loading unit (100b) rotates in one direction to face the support module (200) located in one of the spaces of one of the culture racks (120).
[0091] Here, the rotation of the support module (200) placed in the passage (103) of the loading unit (100b) can be achieved by a rotation module provided in the support module (200) itself, but is not limited thereto.
[0092] That is, the cart (310) of the present invention may include a rotation module (340) arranged on the upper surface, and as the rotation module (340) is rotated, the support module (200) mounted on the upper surface of the cart (310) may rotate as shown in FIG. 10, thereby allowing the support module (200) arranged in the passage (103) of the loading portion (100b) to face the support module (200) located in one of the compartments of one of the culture racks (120).
[0093] Accordingly, when the support module (200) disposed in the passage (103) of the loading section (100b) and the support module (200) located in one of the spaces of the culture rack (120) are facing each other, as at least one conveyor (210) among the support module (200) disposed in the passage (103) of the loading section (100b) and the support module (200) located in one of the spaces of the culture rack (120) rotates, the culture block (B) can be moved from the support module (200) disposed in the passage (103) of the loading section (100b) to the support module (200) located in one of the spaces of the culture rack (120), so that the culture block (B) can be loaded in one of the spaces of the culture rack (120).
[0094] However, the culture rack (120) is composed of multiple stages and multiple compartments, and it may be difficult to load the culture block (B) onto the upper stage of the culture rack (120).
[0095] However, in the present invention, the transport module (300) includes an elevating module (330) that elevates the cart (310), and as shown in FIG. 9, the cart (310) is elevated by the operation of the elevating module (330), and thus the support module (200) mounted on the cart (310) can be elevated, so that the culture block (B) can be smoothly loaded onto the upper level of the culture rack (120).
[0096] Therefore, by repeating the above process, the culture blocks (B) in each compartment of the culture rack (120) of the loading section (100b) can be loaded, thereby enabling the cultivation of anaerobic microorganisms in an anaerobic environment.
[0097] Meanwhile, the present invention can accurately secure the culture block (B) to one of the support modules (200) when the culture block (B) is moved from one of the support modules (200) to another.
[0098] That is, the support module (200) of the present invention includes a first detection member (220) arranged on the upper surface, so that when the culture block (B) moves from one of the support modules (200) to another, the settling position of the culture block (B) can be detected through the first detection member (220), so that, for example, when the settling position of the culture block (B) does not reach the set position, by further rotating the conveyor (210) of one of the support modules (200), the culture block (B) can proceed further and reach the set position, so that the settling of the culture block (B) can be accurately performed on one of the support modules (200).
[0099] In addition, the present invention enables smooth loading of culture blocks (B) into each compartment of the culture rack (120).
[0100] That is, the support module (200) of the present invention includes a second detection member (230) that detects the position of the culture rack (120), more specifically, detects the position of each compartment of the culture rack (120), so that the degree of elevation of the support module (200) is adjusted according to the position of any one compartment of the culture rack (120), thereby enabling smooth loading of the culture block (B) into each compartment of the culture rack (120).
[0101] In addition, the present invention can smoothly maintain the anaerobic microbial culture temperature.
[0102] That is, the main body (100) of the present invention may include a temperature control module (130), and heating and cooling of the air inside the receiving portion (100a) and the loading portion (100b) may be performed by the temperature control module (130), thereby controlling the temperature inside the receiving portion (100a) and the loading portion (100b), and thus, the anaerobic microbial culture temperature may be smoothly maintained.
[0103] In addition, the present invention can facilitate hygiene management inside the receiving portion (100a) and the loading portion (100b).
[0104] That is, the main body (100) of the present invention may include an ultraviolet lamp (140), and as illustrated in FIG. 11, the receiving portion (100a) and the loading portion (100b) can be sterilized when the ultraviolet lamp (140) irradiates ultraviolet light, so that the interior of the receiving portion (100a) and the loading portion (100b) can be managed more hygienically.
[0105] In addition, the present invention can easily confirm the degree of cultivation of anaerobic microorganisms.
[0106] That is, the main body (100) of the present invention can include a camera module (150), and as shown in FIG. 12, the inside of the loading section (100b), more specifically, the inside of the culture block (B) pulled out from the support module (200) of one of the cells of the culture rack (120) to the support module (200) arranged in the passage (103) of the loading section (100b) can be photographed through the camera module (150), so that the degree of culture of anaerobic microorganisms can be easily confirmed, and thus the culture of anaerobic microorganisms can be more smoothly performed.
[0107] At this time, the support module (200) placed in the passage (103) of the loading unit (100b) is moved by the transport module (300) and positioned directly below the camera module (150), so that the camera module (150) can smoothly take pictures of the inside of the culture block (B).
[0108] However, depending on the distance between the camera module (150) and its lower cultivation block (B), the focus may become blurry, which may deteriorate the image quality.
[0109] However, in the present invention, the transport module (300) includes an elevating module (330) that elevates the cart (310) as described above, and by elevating the cart (310) through the elevating module (330), the support module (200) arranged in the passage (103) of the loading part (100b) installed on the cart (310) is elevated, thereby enabling the focus of the camera module (150) to be accurately captured, thereby enabling clear image capturing, and facilitating confirmation of the degree of culture of anaerobic microorganisms.
[0110] Meanwhile, the withdrawal of the culture block (B) from the inside of the main body (100) to the outside can be accomplished by performing the loading process described above in reverse, and therefore, a detailed description of the withdrawal of the culture block (B) is omitted.
[0111]
[0112] The present invention as described above is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and thus may be modified within a scope that does not depart from the gist of the present invention as claimed in the claims, and such modifications are within the scope of protection of the present invention defined by the following claims.
