Description

LINEAR SLOT DIFFUSER PROFILE AND LINEAR SLOT DIFFUSER AREA OF TECHNOLOGY

[0001] This technical solution relates to the field of ventilation system equipment, in particular to linear slot diffusers for distributing air flows, built into the ceiling made of plasterboard (GKL) and a metal frame. LEVEL OF TECHNOLOGY

[0002] Linear slot diffusers are used for installation in suspended ceilings to conceal the frame of the ventilation grille and ensure the required distribution of air flows.

[0003] The state of the art provides for various types of linear diffusers for concealed installation, which, as a rule, form a common diffuser frame placed in a plasterboard ceiling. Examples of such solutions include diffusers known from sources ES 1064231 U, US 4537347 A, KR 20130108792 A.

[0004] As an analogue, we can consider the design of a slot diffuser manufactured by Ritech. 1.88 / 1.§§.J ; . Q17090712QS1.6..ndf). The diffuser has a curved V-shaped profile with a segment in the form of a cavity framed by a frame designed to attach the diffuser to the plasterboard ceiling. The diffuser profile in the lower part contains a paint unit with a pointed profile and made in the form of an angular thin frame.

[0005] An improved design of slot diffuser profiles was previously proposed by the applicant in patent RU 2751963 C9. The proposed design of the diffuser profile is implemented as a frame structure formed by profile segments in the form of cavities, which ensures improved thermodynamic properties of the diffuser and prevents condensation.

[0006] To further improve the design of the diffuser profiles, this solution proposes a new diffuser profile geometry, made rounded, which improves both the distribution of air flows and reduces noise during ventilation operation. ESSENCE OF THE INVENTION

[0007] The claimed invention is aimed at solving a technical problem associated with reducing noise during ventilation operation, as well as more efficient distribution of air flows.

[0008] The main technical result is a reduction in noise during air distribution due to more efficient sliding of air flows along the inner surface of the profile.

[0009] Another technical result is a reduction in the likelihood of condensation formation due to the acceleration of air flow along the inner wall of the profile, ensuring good and stable ventilation.

[0010] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, a ventilation diffuser profile is claimed, made in the form of a single structure containing an internal and external surface, wherein the internal surface has a rounded shape, and the external surface is formed by at least one hollow segment, wherein the rounding of the internal surface is continuous from the upper to the lower parts of the profile and the length of the rounded surface is more than 50% of the entire height of the profile. [UN] In one of the particular examples of implementation, the lower surface is made profiled.

[0012] In another particular example of implementation, the hollow segment is made in the form of a frame element, which is walls framing the cavity.

[0013] In another particular example of implementation, the upper part is made L-shaped.

[0014] In another particular example of implementation, a protrusion is provided on the upper part for positioning the locking element.

[0015] In another particular example of implementation, the profile additionally contains a paint unit located in the lower part of the profile.

[0016] In another preferred embodiment of the invention, a design of a ventilation diffuser is proposed, comprising two profiles, made according to any example of the above-described design, which are connected to each other by a fixing element placed on the upper part of the profiles, wherein an air flow deflector is located on the fixing element.

[0017] In one of the specific examples of implementation, the air flow deflector is made in the form of a single cast structure.

[0018] In another particular example of implementation, the air flow deflector is made from at least one hollow segment.

[0019] In another particular example of implementation, the hollow segment is made in the form of a frame element, which is walls framing the cavity.

[0020] In another particular example of implementation, the lower part of the air flow deflector is made in the shape of a crescent.

[0021] In another particular example of implementation, the air flow deflector is secured to the fixing element via a retaining element.

[0022] In another particular example of implementation, the air flow deflector is designed with the possibility of rotating on the fixing element.

[0023] In another particular example of implementation, the air flow deflector is designed with the possibility of its rotation relative to the plane of the air flow exit from the diffuser.

[0024] In another particular example of implementation, the air flow deflector is designed with the possibility of partially or completely blocking the cavity for the passage of air masses.

[0025] In another particular example of implementation, the air flow deflector is designed with the ability to change the trajectory of the air mass flow relative to the plane of the air mass exit from the diffuser.

[0028] Fig. 2 illustrates a ventilation diffuser.

[0029] Fig. 3 illustrates the design of a rotary air flow deflector.

[0030] Fig. 4 - Fig. 5 illustrate the modeling of the distribution of air flow velocity in the diffuser. IMPLEMENTATION OF THE INVENTION

[0031] Fig. 1 shows the design of the claimed profile (10) of the ventilation diffuser. The profile (10) is made in the form of a one-piece metal structure and contains two surfaces, an internal (11) and an external (12). The internal surface (11) is made rounded and can have different rounding lengths. For example, the rounding of the inner surface (11) can be performed continuously from the upper (13) to the lower (14) parts of the profile, and the length of the rounded surface (11) can be from 50% or more of the entire height of the profile (10).

[0032] The outer surface (12) of the profile (10) is made in the form of a frame structure and contains one or more hollow segments made in the form of a framing frame of the cavity. The segments can be made in various shapes and located in different parts on the surface (12) of the profile (10). As a rule, the area of the inner space of the cavity is larger than the area of the framing frame, but different types of variations and thicknesses can be used in the manufacture of the said segments.

[0033] The height of the profile (10) is understood to be the distance from the highest point on the upper part (13) of the profile to the point on the lower part (14). The upper part (13) of the profile (10) is made in an L-shape in order to accommodate the fixing element (30) shown in Fig. 2.

[0034] The working surface (I) of the profile (10) has an arc-shaped cross-section, which ensures improved air flow sliding due to reduced surface resistance; the absence of angles and refractions ensures a smooth change in the air flow trajectory, thereby reducing the noise characteristics of a diffuser with such a profile by at least 2 dB(A) compared to analogs with one or more refraction angles. Also, such geometry of the surface (11) of the profile (10) allows for more efficient distribution of air flows.

[0035] Fig. 2 shows a view of a ventilation diffuser (100) formed by profiles (10, 20) connected to each other. The profiles (10, 20) are connected by means of a fixing element (30) placed on the upper parts (13, 23) of the profiles. The fixing element (30) is secured by means of fasteners (for example, self-tapping screws) to the upper parts (13, 23) of the profiles (10, 20), or a welded connection of the fixing element (30) and the profiles (10, 20) is used, in particular, by placing it on the L-shaped protrusions of the profiles (10, 20), which play the role of a shelf.

[0036] The profiles (10, 20) are made identical and form an internal space for the passage of air flows. An air flow deflector (40) is fixed to the fixing element (30), which can be welded directly to the fixing element (30) or fixed with fasteners (e.g., self-tapping screws).

[0037] The main feature of the applied deflector (40) is its shape, which is made in the form of a crescent (arc-shaped) in the lower part, which ensures smooth acceleration of air flows in the diffuser outlet zones. In Fig. 4 - Fig. 5 The simulation of the distribution of air flow velocity in the diffuser (100) is presented. Also, due to the use of such geometry of the lower part of the deflector (40), the probability of condensation both at the air outlet from the diffuser (100) is reduced, and the probability of condensation inside the diffuser (100) is reduced by providing a plug effect with air masses exiting with acceleration, eliminating the possibility of air getting back into the diffuser (100). At the same time, such geometry of the deflector (40) reduces noise characteristics together with the rounded shape of the surfaces (11, 21) of the side profiles (10, 20) by at least 3 - 4 dB (A) in total.

[0038] The air flow deflector (40) may be made as a single cast structure, which may be manufactured as a single solid part. The deflector (40) structure may contain one or more hollow segments, which represent a frame structure in the form of a framework of walls framing the cavity.

[0039] Fig. 3 shows a particular example of the design of the air flow separation deflector (50), in which the deflector (50) is made rotatable. In this case, the deflector (50) can be made of several elements, in particular, a holding element (51), which is attached to the fixing element (30), and is connected to the working area of the deflector (50) through an additional element (52), for example, a retainer, which is a C-shaped support, providing for the rotation of the deflector (50) around the axis to provide the possibility of partially or completely blocking the cavity of the passage of air masses along one of the profiles (10, 20). Fig. 3 shows an example of fixing the deflector (50) on a cylindrical holding element (51), which can be a bushing with a leg, fixed on the fixing element (30).

[0040] This principle of performing the movement of the deflector (50) provides both the possibility of effectively changing the trajectory of the movement of the air mass stream relative to the plane of the exit of the air masses from the diffuser (100), while maintaining the effect of increasing the efficiency of the distribution of air flows, and allows reducing noise during ventilation operation in terms of passing air through the diffuser (100) due to the implementation of its geometry in the form of a crescent.

[0041] The deflector (50) can be made removable, for example, by fixing it with latches, or by removing it from the element (52). Fixation on the element (52) can be performed by making a U-shaped diffuser (50) support from a polymer material, which allows it to be fixed by compression / expansion of the housing. Removal can occur both with and without the use of specialized tool. Without using the rotary deflector, it is removed manually. This operation allows for periodic cleaning (maintenance) of the internal surfaces of the diffuser and deflector in particular.

[0042] Returning to Fig. 2, the lower part (14, 24) of the profiles (10, 20) is a paint unit and contains a profiled surface (141, 241) with alternating grooves and recesses. The grooves have a widening, which, as a rule, is made larger than the input part of the recess. For example, the ratio of the widening size to the groove size can be no less than 1 to 1.2, which depends on the shape of the groove. Due to such a ratio of the sizes of the parts of the profiled surface formed by grooves and depressions, the putty, filling the entire groove, during its subsequent drying becomes self-supporting together with the finishing layer, which increases the reliability and efficiency of the diffuser (100), formed by profiles (10, 20) by reducing the likelihood of peeling off the putty layer under external loads (for example, geometric displacement of the ceiling, shrinkage of the house, etc.).It should be obvious to a specialist in this field of technology that the geometry of the grooves of the profiled surface (141, 241) can be of a different shape, while maintaining the proportions of the base of the groove and its recess.

[0043] This type of geometry allows, during the final finishing of the diffuser (100) installed in the plasterboard, to ensure that the grooves are filled with it by applying a layer of putty, thereby increasing the adhesion of the putty layer. On the lower part (14, 24) of the profiles (10, 20), a paint beacon is also made, which is a beveled surface.
