Abstract
Description
TRAY
[0001] The present invention relates to a tray for transporting food, medicines and utensils in elevators of residential, commercial, industrial buildings, hotels and non-sterile environments, which has a sterilizing device that aims to eliminate, at levels never before considered, all risks of contamination of food, medication, personal objects and utensils, which are currently transported by vertical ascension cabinets (elevators), whether commercial, social, service (hotels) and industrial, as well as geometric modules of compartments with the same function in horizontal or oblique transport on inclined planes. Background of the Invention
[0002] Due to the advent of the global COVID-19 pandemic, it is known and public that the delivery services of medicines by pharmacies, food by supermarkets, ready-made food by restaurants and various "Room Service" orders from hotels, either occur by carriers who are unauthorized to enter the customers' premises, or by services from application platforms such as iFood, Mappin, etc., as well as in hotels the movement of food dishes, desserts, drinks, etc., are done by internal elevators built between the spaces of each floor, known as freight elevators or freight elevators.
[0003] This new need for isolation, care and restrictions on the movement of people and service providers on the premises of consumer units (residential buildings, commercial buildings, hospitals, industries, hotels, etc.), forced the adoption of a practice completely against the recommendations of public health agencies and even due to the natural unhealthiness of this undesirable contact, promoting and increasing the risk of contamination and the spread of poisoning and even the transmission of contagious diseases.
[0004] This observation is a fact. The new customs mentioned above, imposed by the COVID-19 isolation regime and the increasingly widespread use of delivery app platforms like iFood, have forced subcontracted delivery drivers and waiters for large hotel chains, as well as doormen in residential and commercial buildings, to place products and objects, sometimes on the floors of elevators or in internal cargo transfer modules within hotels.
[0005] It turns out that after this pandemic, and even after the pandemic had already subsided, these practices, procedures, and new delivery customs, which prohibited carriers and delivery drivers from companies, stores, restaurants, pharmacies, etc., from entering buildings and residential condominiums, were maintained by both customers and service providers. In other words, entry into end-user units remained prohibited. In some cases, specific laws were even enacted prohibiting delivery drivers from entering the premises of buildings, residences, and condominiums, prohibiting consumers from demanding that app-based workers enter common areas of vertical and horizontal condominiums, with the package having to be delivered to the concierge.
[0006] What happens, however, is that deliveries are deposited on the elevator floor and / or in the place where all employees, passengers, residents, pets and workers on renovation and construction sites also circulate, step on, and in the case of animals, urinate and / or defecate, and in doing so, they leave and impregnate different types of viruses, bacteria, and contaminating chemical materials in a total lack of hygiene.
[0007] It is on this contaminated floor that the packaging of various products, medicines, food or utensils are directly deposited and placed in a state of total contamination with all types of agents that are harmful to human health, whether because they were taken into the elevators and transport modules by the soles of users' shoes, or by spills or leaks of chemical products that were previously transported or even by cleaning products used by employees of condominiums and companies.
[0008] Thus, it was found that all private, commercial, industrial and service elevators needed a device that guaranteed substantial hygienic safety to the products circulating in them, which is the object of the present invention, since they do not have or are provided with such a device developed here.
[0009] This is a device that would resemble a "special tray", developed in sterile material, of the surgical type (stainless steel or any other material that is similar in terms of sterility characteristics), which should, for safety, be installed in an appropriate place in the elevators, the best arrangement being the side of the elevators or transport modules, with its lower base at an adequate minimum distance from the floor of the elevators and internal transport modules, aiming to eliminate direct contact of food, medicines, ready meals, utensils, etc. with the floor of the same. [0035] The tray of the present invention in the exact plumb position to be fixed to the transport module or elevator cabin, showing the lower structural base that will support the objects to be transported (22); the piston shock absorbers (6), the "wire" grid (3); the active element responsible for sterilization (4); the arch-shaped steel structures for containing the objects (5a, 5b); the guide elements for forced closing and opening by manual operation (7); the internal monitoring microcamera (10); inductive lid proximity sensor (15); the projection of the external lid opening handle (14, 21) and also the projection of the mini sensor for the presence of people in the cabin or transport module.
[0036] The device of the present invention comprises a structural tray composed of an upper casing top or upper structural base (1) that is fixed to the substrate or wall of the elevators or transport modules, a flat lower structural base (2) acting as a bottom and structural support, providing a "wire" grid (3) spaced apart from this bottom structure, aiming to distance and support the items to be transported and supported on its bottom in structural plate. This structural bottom is molded with lateral containers of the folded flap type in the same steel that makes up the upper casing top and must be in the same shape that, when the tray is closed because it is not in use, this casing top or lower structural base (2) will act as a receptacle for the structural tray and will keep the entire tray assembly sealed, as well as serving as housing to seal the entire area and internal volume of the tray aiming to make a mechanical barrier for prevent the entry of insects, small rodents, suspended particles and other contact with the hands of users, passengers and / or other living agents.
[0037] Still on the "wire" tray supporting utensils and objects, a steel structure in the form of stainless steel geometric arches (5a, 5b) was developed to increase the lateral protection and containment areas of the tray with the aim of increasing the vertical area in order to prevent objects and utensils of larger volumes from rolling or falling from the top of the lower structural base (2) when the elevators (17) or loading modules are in motion, functioning as a guardrail or guardrail. These arches (5a, 5b) were designed with the concept of automatic opening and retraction actuation driven by a "spring effect" when the lower structural base (2) is manually mechanically opened, inducing sequential activations of the entire system, each acting separately and, once activated, together.0 its retraction to the original position when the tray is returned to its closing position, these same arches (5a, 5b) will be returned to the original position by closing and opening guide elements (7) to their housings, returning to a closed position as before their opening or actuation, by the action of the human driving force applied by the arc movement in contact and forced by the curved radius guide elements that will force the closing to be described in the manual closing of the lower structural base (2) of the tray as illustrated.
[0038] However, it was considered that adverse conditions could occur during the loading and placement of objects to be supported by the lower structural base (2), and there could even be small spills of liquids and solids inside the tray and this could generate possible fermentation processes, cultivation of bacterial colonies and even the appearance of unwanted odors.
[0039] In order to practically suppress and promote the removal of these possible solids or liquids from the interior of the lower structural base (2) in order to avoid any type of proliferation of this nature, the tray of the present invention was designed with the provision of an absorbent element of disposable semi-synthetic fabric acting as a removable lining for one-way use (8), in a geometry already pre-formed in the exact dimension of the internal area of the lower structural base (2) to be applied and installed below the structural system of the removable wire grid (3) for supporting and supporting the objects to be transported (22), this grid, as already mentioned, suspended and isolated from the bottom of the main tray, which has at its longitudinal end adequate space for handling its manual lifting for removal, the removable lining (12) will be positioned at the bottom of the lower base of the lower structural base (2) preferably made of stainless steel, which allows its easy removal and movement to provide access in order to allow the replacement of the "refill" or substitute. The disposable semi-synthetic fabric absorbent element that acts as a lining (12) is now applied to the bottom of the lower structural base (2), which will be made of biodegradable, laminar semi-synthetic material, such as absorbent fabric paper and / or absorbent paper such as those commonly used in hoods, stoves and general cleaning support, being 100% disposable, to absorb and contain probable leaks of liquids, pastes and solids, which must be replaced at the slightest sign of this need. This absorbent element is supplied as a structured Pre-Kit and already, molded to exact, standard dimensions to be easily replaced, making operation quick and requiring no extra skill or assistance.
[0040] The tray of the present invention is also provided, on one or more sides of the lower structural base (2) with a built-in sterilization system, without access to human vision, for complete sterilization by UV light irradiation, which will emit radiation from a sterilizing radiation emitting element (4) with a scanning fan at an angle of 160° in longitudinal cross-section from the device, also inducing the sterilization effect by reflection on the polished surface of the stainless steel, which will cover 100% of the entire area and internal volume of the tray. This will occur every time the tray is closed. And the sterilizing radiation emitting device (4) will emit radiation in a luminous flux in the longitudinal vertical direction.
[0041] As a control element and guarantee that the emission of sterilization light beams can only begin with the tray 100% closed, not exposing passengers to this emission of UV rays, an inductive proximity sensor (9) will be installed in the camera and sensor receptacle (8) together with the internal micro camera (10).
[0042] In other words, the effective energization of the U.Vc lamps by the auxiliary contact block responsible for this function will only be enabled after reading 100% of the pre-defined proximity and adjusting it, which recognizes and records that the base (2) supporting the objects and utensils is 100% closed and close to this sensor (9).
[0043] If the base (2) is not properly closed, the inductive sensor (9) will not be able to recognize the other part of the tray (structural support tray) and will prevent the activation of the electrical system (19) that triggers the emission of U.Vc rays in the environment of the elevator or transport module compartment.
[0044] The estimated calculated time for complete sterilization of the tray volume for a system power between 4.0 and 8.0 Watts is 5 to 9 seconds. Therefore, it is guaranteed that between one movement of the elevator or transport module and another, the tray of the present invention will be efficiently sterilized before the next operation to be requested.
[0045] In addition to these items, the set of this invention will have a mini presence sensor (15) attached to its face, to increase safety redundancy, which only allows the sterilization system (4) to start operating with the tray being 100% in the closed position and without the presence of people inside the elevator in case any passenger wants to open the tray when in movement and in its sterilization operation phase, this ensures that no human being will be exposed to UV radiation.
[0046] The tray of the present invention may also be equipped, in a specific modality, with an internal microcamera (10) that will record and monitor the user who opened the loading base (2) and placed the objects and utensils inside, as well as record which user removed them from inside, eliminating any doubt as to the time and user who had contact with the tray.
[0047] This is very important and effective for the user when handling the operations of placing and removing objects and utensils in the structural tray, as well as in the image records of these operations to recognize who were the professionals who fed and carried the trays, as well as the customers or users who removed and picked up their objects and utensils.
[0048] Furthermore, all opening and closing operations of the tray casing will be carried out using specific handles which, in more sophisticated models, may be equipped with digital password controls customized for each residential unit, installed between its base and the hinged tray.
[0049] The tray of the present invention may be installed so as to overlap the walls of the elevators and transport modules (visible) or installed in a built-in condition, facing the side or front wall of the elevators (17) and transport modules.
[0050] You can also adopt any type of external decoration that best suits the color, geometry and size of each user's equipment.
[0051] The decontamination and sterilization system (4) built into the base (2) of the tray of the present invention, for safety reasons, will be equipped with an electromechanical interconnection with total interlocking between the locking device of the elevator cabin doors and the transport modules, aiming to prevent that when the elevator (17) or the transport module have the doors open, it can never be activated or start its process of emitting sterilization radiation into the environment. This is to ensure that the sterilization and sanitization process of the internal volume of the tray is only effectively activated with the base (2) completely closed, without the presence of passengers inside the cabins and with the doors closed.
[0052] In another embodiment of the present invention it is provided an opening and closing button (11) that activates a servomotor (20) via an electrical system (19) and causes the base (2) to close without the need for human contact.
[0053] Likewise, a button (16) on the receptacle (8) activates the automatic opening of the tray, and makes the base (2) open without the need for human contact.
[0054] In another embodiment of the present invention, one or more handles (14, 21) are provided on the lower face of the base (2) to open the tray of the present invention.
[0055] In another embodiment of the present invention, barcode readers are provided, a mobile reader (23) or a fixed reader (24) for reading barcodes of products (22) and / or orders placed on the tray. Detailed Description of the Invention
[0056] The structural tray of the present invention is characterized by comprising an upper casing top (5) that is fixed to a substrate or wall, a flat lower structural base (2) acting as a bottom and structural support comprising a "wire" grid (3) spaced apart from said bottom structure, to distance and support the items to be transported and supported on its bottom in structural plate, said structural bottom being molded with lateral containers of the folded flap type in the same steel that makes up the bases (1, 2) and must be in such a shape that, when the tray is closed because it is not in use, the upper base (1) will act as a receptacle for the lower base (2) and will keep the entire tray assembly sealed to accommodate the lower structural base (2), as well as serving as housing to seal the entire area and internal volume of the tray in order to make a mechanical barrier to prevent the entry of insects, small rodents, suspended particles and other contacts with the hands of users, passengers and / or other living agents, said structural tray also comprising, on the "wire" tray supporting utensils and objects, a steel structure in the form of stainless steel geometric arches (5a, 5b) to increase the lateral protection and containment areas of the tray with the aim of increasing the vertical area in order to prevent objects and utensils of larger volumes from rolling or falling from the top of the lower base (2) when the elevators (17) or loading modules are in motion, said arches (5a, 5b) comprising automatic opening and retraction actuation driven by a "spring effect" when manually mechanically activating the opening of the lower structural base (2), inducing sequential actuations of an entire system, each one acting separately and, after activated, together, and their retraction to the original position will occur when the tray is returned to its closed position, said arches (5a, 5b) being returned to the original position by closing and opening guide elements (7) to their housings, returning to a closed position as before their openings or actuations, by the action of the human driving force imprinted by the arc movement in contact and forced by the curved radius guide elements that will force the closing to be described in the manual closing of the tray of the present invention.,
[0057] Furthermore, the tray of the present invention comprises an absorbent fabric element, which may be semi-synthetic, disposable or not, acting as a removable lining (12), in a geometry already pre-formed in the exact dimension of the internal area of the base (2) to be applied and installed below the structural system of the removable wire grid (2) for supporting and supporting the objects to be transported (22), said grid (3) being suspended and isolated from the bottom of the main tray, which has at its longitudinal end adequate space for handling its manual lifting for removal, the removable lining (12) will be positioned at the bottom of the lower base (2) allowing easy removal and movement to provide access in order to allow the exchange of the "refill" or substitute for the disposable semi-synthetic fabric absorbent element that acts as lining (12) now applied to the bottom of the base (2) of the tray of the present invention.
[0058] Said lining (12) is applied to the bottom of the base (2) and can be made from biodegradable, laminar, semi-synthetic material, such as absorbent tissue paper and / or absorbent paper and similar.
[0059] Another possibility is for the said lining (12) to be disposable, and to absorb and contain probable leaks of liquids, pastes and solids, and to be supplied as a structured Pre-Kit and already molded in the exact and standard dimensions.
[0060] Furthermore, the structural tray of the present invention may also be provided, on one or more sides of the lower base (2), with a built-in sterilization system (4), without access to human vision, for complete sterilization by irradiation of U.Vc light, said built-in sterilization system (4) emitting irradiation from a sterilizing radiation emission element (4), said sterilizing radiation emission element (4) comprising a scanning fan at an angle of 160° in longitudinal cross-section from the device, also inducing the sterilization effect by reflection on the polished surface of the stainless steel, covering 100% of the entire area and internal volume of the tray.
[0061] The structural tray further comprising integral sweeping that occurs whenever the tray is in position closed, with the time for complete sterilization of the tray volume for a system power between 4.0 and 8.0 Watts being 5 to 9 seconds.
[0062] The sterilizing radiation emission device (13) emits radiation in a luminous flux in the longitudinal vertical direction, the sterilizing radiation emission device (4) will not be activated if an inductive sensor (9) does not have the capacity to recognize the other part of the device arranged on the structural support tray, said inductive sensor comprising an inductive proximity sensor (9).
[0063] The structural tray of the present invention also comprises a mini presence sensor (15) coupled to the lower face of the base (2) to increase safety redundancy, which only allows the sterilization system (4) to start operating with the tray in the fully closed position and without the presence of people inside the elevator; and, in an alternative embodiment, an internal micro camera (16) that will record and monitor the user who opens the lower structural loading base (2) and places objects and / or utensils inside it, as well as recording the time and date, as well as the identity of the user who removed them from inside it, as well as being able to understand the record of all opening and closing operations of the tray casing to be carried out by specific handles (14, 21) with digital password controls personalized for each residential unit installed between the base and the articulated tray.
[0064] Furthermore, the decontamination and sterilization system (4) built into the tray of the present invention will be equipped with an electromechanical interconnection with total interlocking, between the locking device of the elevator cabin doors and transport modules, aiming to prevent that when the elevator (17) or the transport module has its doors open, it can never be activated or start its process of emitting sterilization radiation into the environment. This aims to ensure that the sterilization and sanitization process of the internal volume of the tray is only effectively activated when the tray (1) is completely closed, without the presence of passengers inside the cabins and with the doors closed.
[0065] The tray of the present invention is, therefore, completely safe for use and in the presence of human beings since it has triple safety redundancy in its automated operations.
[0066] Furthermore, the tray is installed so as to overlap the walls of the elevators and transport modules (exposed) or installed in a built-in condition, facing the side or front wall of the elevators (17) and transport modules; and may include external decoration elements, as well as adaptable geometry and size.
[0067] Thus, the innovation of the tray of the present invention is characterized by the novelty of having a special compartment for the internal transport of products, objects, utensils, etc., such as: human medicines, supermarket food, ready-made food from restaurants and various "Room Service" orders from hotels, where they will have a suitable, safe, hygienic compartment, sterilized after each use and with safety records.
[0068] In one embodiment, the present invention comprises a digital reader (23, 24) in two modalities, together or separately: a scanner-type reader of electronic gates on the tray and in a fixed mode, on the elevator wall, close to the tray of the present invention.
[0069] Every purchase / delivery / order / package (22) that contains a label encoded by QR Code or Barcode will be read by the tray reader and it will open, automatically selecting the elevator floor (like coded hotel keys), recording the day, time and which elevator it was, serving as an electronic signature for receipt of the package for buildings without doormen (this when placed directly by the delivery person) and / or the package is scanned directly by the doorman (for commercial buildings, for example, with large volumes of receipts).
[0070] Then, in a subsequent operation, the doorman goes to the tray and downloads all the readings to the tray's reading center, which programs the elevator floors assigned to each package or order and issues an online notification on the registered cell phone of the delivery company or partner companies / clients of delivery applications; or the communication center of the company responsible for the dispatched material and the cell phone of the resident in the unit where the package is going up in the elevator.
[0071] This system allows the tray of the present invention to provide near-complete automation in the delivery and receipt of parcels, packages, etc., by its users. All of this is physically interconnected by network cable to the elevator's small logic control module and the building's communication center via Wi-Fi.
[0072] Furthermore, the optical reading module will capture the codes present on the parcel labels, generating the receipt record, identifying the floor of the recipient who will receive the parcel and, automatically, marking the referred floor in the elevator programming.
[0073] After reading and registering, the system will also send a digital confirmation of receipt to the companies sending the packages and an online notification to the registered resident's cell phone, serving as an electronic signature for receipt of the package for buildings without doormen.
[0074] The tray can be opened by directly reading QR or barcodes, while it can be closed using an internal activation button or by automatic detection of tray emptying using an integrated camera.
[0075] A barcode reader application will be especially useful in the case of hospitals.
[0076] Considering that for hospitals, the tray of the present invention will be adapted in its dimensions and specific elements so that, when closed, it can hold up to serum bottles, with the lid being able to be subdivided, the hospital pharmacy can supply these subdivisions or "Slots" and on each floor / pavement, with the password for each room, the user will only be able to open their Slot on the tray, allowing access to the exact medication for that room.
[0077] This system eliminates medication mix-up errors during transportation and increases the safety of the hospital's logistics and quality certification."
[0078] The addition would be solely regarding the insertion of a tag or control element (QR Code, barcode, etc.) to identify each package transported, managed by beds in the tray.
[0079] The foregoing description illustrates and describes several representative embodiments. Various additions, modifications, alterations, etc., may be made to the representative embodiments without departing from the scope and scope of the description.
[0080] It is intended that all matter contained in the above description or shown in the accompanying drawings should be interpreted as illustrative and not in a limiting sense.
