Description

Plugging device for non-stop flow method

[0001] The present invention relates to a plugging device for a non-stop flow method, and more particularly, to a plugging device for a non-stop flow method for closing (sealing) a branch hole perforated for branching in a pipe through which a fluid flows.

[0002] In order to supply fluids, including tap water, pipes are buried underground, and by continuously connecting pipes of a certain length, the fluids are safely transported to the desired destination.

[0003] Among these pipes, water supply pipes are composed of large-diameter main pipes that transport large quantities of water over long distances, and branch pipes that branch off from the main pipes and are used for relatively short-distance transport to supply water to buildings such as homes and offices.

[0004] In pipes with branches like this, valves must be installed to ensure that the water supply can be shut off, making it easier to replace aged pipes (main pipe, branch pipe) or valves by simply replacing them.

[0005] This conventional method has the disadvantage of having a wide range of water cutoffs because it is performed after closing all valves installed around the replacement point to cut off the water supply to the pipes or valves at the replacement point.

[0006] In addition, as mentioned above, when the water supply is cut off, it causes inconvenience and loss to each household and various industrial facilities, and there is a problem of causing inconvenience to the lives of the people. In order to solve this problem, a non-stop water supply (non-stop water supply) method using a non-stop water supply valve to repair water pipes without cutting off the water supply has been developed.

[0007] This non-disruptive method refers to the process of replacing pipes or valves or connecting or branching separate branch pipes while maintaining the flow and pressure of fluids such as water, gas, and oil flowing in the pipes of the construction section without cutting them off.

[0008] Additionally, in order to connect a branch pipe in a pipe, a branch hole is formed, and a valve, a splitter pipe, a branch pipe, etc. are connected to the branch hole.

[0009] Accordingly, it was essential to close the branch holes to replace aging valves, branch pipes and splitter pipes.

[0010] Moreover, there are frequent cases where it is no longer necessary to supply water through a branch pipe formed by branching off from an existing water pipe. In this case, a method of separating and removing the branch pipe connected to the pipe while sealing the branch hole formed in the pipe has been proposed.

[0011] In the past, a plug was used to close a branch hole like this.

[0012] However, conventional plugs close the vent by forcibly pushing in an elastic material, which can be gradually pushed out by constant pressure, potentially causing a leak.

[0013] Therefore, there is a need for the development of a plugging device for a complex and improved non-stop method that stably closes the branch hole of a pipe.

[0050] As shown in Figures 1 to 10, the branch hole (P1) formed in the pipe (P) is closed.

[0051] A plugging device (A) for a non-stop flow method according to the present invention comprises a housing (100) that surrounds the outer surface of the pipe (P) so as to close the branch hole (P1), a cam guide (200) installed toward the center of the clamp insertion hole (110), and a clamp (300) that is installed in the clamp insertion hole (110) of the housing (100) and is extracted and compressed by the cam guide (200) and cam operation to fix the inner surface of the pipe (P).

[0052] First, the housing (100) is formed in a cylindrical shape, and the lower end of the housing (100) is formed in an arcuate cross-section as illustrated in Fig. 6. Accordingly, the housing (100) is formed in a shape that surrounds the outer circumferential surface of the pipe (P).

[0053] In addition, a cam guide insertion hole (101) formed with a female screw is formed in the housing (100) so that a cam guide (200) can be installed. At this time, the cam guide insertion hole (101) is formed to penetrate the center of the clamp insertion hole (110) in a direction perpendicular to the center.

[0054] And, the cam guide (200) is composed of a ball screw, a ball plunger, a ball roller, or a pin guide. At this time, the cam guide (200) is formed as a headless bolt type and a general bolt type.

[0055] Meanwhile, as shown in FIG. 5, the clamp insertion hole (110) is composed of a first clamp insertion hole (111) formed of a female screw, and a second clamp insertion hole (112) having a relatively larger inner diameter than the first clamp insertion hole (111).

[0056] In addition, as shown in FIG. 1 or FIG. 5, the clamp (300) is composed of a cam driver (310) having a cam profile (311) and a through hole (312) formed therein, which is inserted into the second clamp insertion hole (112) and coupled with the cam guide (200), and a rotating body (320) which is rotatably installed in the through hole (312) of the cam driver (310) and has a male screw (321) formed therein so as to be screw-coupled with the first clamp insertion hole (111).

[0057] And, a catch groove (313) is formed at the bottom of the through hole (312) of the cam drive body (310), and a catch protrusion (322) that engages with the catch groove (313) and a ring groove (323) to which a snap ring (330) is fixed are formed in the rotating body (320). At this time, the catch groove (313) is formed in a flat or countersunk shape, and the catch protrusion (322) is formed in a flat or dish-head shape.

[0058] Meanwhile, a foot (314) is formed protrudingly on the cam drive body (310) to contact the inner surface of the pipe (P) and pull the housing (100) to be in close contact with the pipe (P), and an inclined surface (315) is formed on the foot (314).

[0059] In addition, as illustrated in FIG. 1, ring grooves (314, 315) are formed on the outer surface of the cam drive body (310) and the through hole (312), respectively, and O-rings (316, 317) are installed in the ring grooves (314, 315), respectively. The O-rings (316, 317) prevent fluid from leaking between the clamp (300) and the housing (100).

[0060] In addition, a hexagonal head (324) is formed on the above-described rotating body (320), and rotation is achieved by combining with the lifting unit described later.

[0061] The assembly structure of the clamp (300) configured in this manner and the assembly structure of the clamp (300) and the housing (100) are described.

[0062] First, the above-mentioned rotating body (320) is installed across the through hole (313) of the cam driving body (310). At this time, the engaging jaw (322) of the above-mentioned rotating body (320) engages with the engaging groove (313) to limit the insertion depth.

[0063] Thereafter, the assembly of the clamp (300) is completed by inserting the snap ring (330) into the exposed ring groove (323) across the through hole (312). Accordingly, the rotating body (320) is assembled so that it rotates relative to the cam driving body (310) while preventing it from coming off.

[0064] Next, the assembled clamp (300) is inserted into the lower part of the clamp insertion hole (110) by rotation, and the male screw (321) of the rotating body (320) and the female screw of the first clamp insertion hole (111) are screwed together.

[0065] Finally, the cam guide (200) is inserted through the cam guide insertion hole (101) so that the cam profile (311) and the cam guide (200) are interlocked with each other to perform cam operation.

[0066] That is, the above-mentioned rotating body (320) is installed so that rotation occurs, and the above-mentioned cam driving body (310) is configured so that elevation occurs from the top to the bottom part by the cam profile (311) and the cam guide (200), and rotation occurs only in the bottom part.

[0067] Specifically, the cam profile (311) is composed of a first cam (311a) that raises and lowers the cam driver (310) by forward and reverse rotation of the rotor (320), and a second cam (311b) that rotates the cam driver (310) by forward and reverse rotation of the rotor (320).

[0068] When explaining the operation of the above clamp (300), when the rotating body (320) rotates in the forward direction, the clamp (300) protrudes away from the lower end of the housing (100) without rotating by the cam guide (200) and the first cam (311a).

[0069] Thereafter, when the forward rotation of the above-mentioned rotating body (320) is added, the cam driving body (310) rotates inside the second clamp insertion hole (112) of the housing (100) by the cam guide (200) and the second cam (311b).

[0070] At this time, the rotation direction of the cam drive body (310) is such that the foot (314) is rotated (internal rotation, solid line in FIG. 3) toward the center (C) of the housing (100), as shown in FIG. 3 or FIG. 7. This state is a state in which there is no interference between the foot (314) and the branch hole (P1). In other words, the plugging device (A) of the present invention can be inserted into the branch hole (P1) without interference.

[0071] On the other hand, when the above-mentioned rotating body (320) is rotated in the reverse direction, the cam driving body (310) rotates inside the second clamp insertion hole (112) of the housing (100) by the cam guide (200) and the second cam (311b).

[0072] At this time, the rotation direction of the cam drive body (310) is such that the foot (314) rotates away from the center (C) of the housing (outer rotation, two-dot chain line in FIG. 3) as shown in FIG. 3 or FIG. 7. This state is a state in which the foot (314) is caught in the branch hole (P1).

[0073] In this state, when the reverse rotation of the above-mentioned rotating body (320) is added, the cam driving body (310) is compressed in the direction of the housing (100) by the above-mentioned cam guide (200) and the first cam (311a).

[0074] That is, when the reverse rotation of the above-described rotating body (320) occurs while the foot (314) is inserted into the branch hole (P1), the foot (314) generates a pulling force by being caught on the branch hole (P1), and accordingly, the housing (100) closes the branch hole (P1).

[0075] Ultimately, according to the cam operation described above, when the clamp (300) is withdrawn from the housing (100), the foot (314) passes through the branch hole (P1), and when the clamp (300) is compressed against the housing (100), the inner surface of the pipe (P) is fixed by the foot (314) and the housing (100) is pressed against the outer surface of the pipe (P1).

[0076] In addition, a rubber packing (400) is further provided to be installed at the bottom of the housing (100). Accordingly, the rubber packing (400) prevents fluid from leaking between the housing (100) and the pipe (P).

[0077] In addition, an anti-slip unit insertion hole (120) is formed in the housing (100), and an anti-slip unit (500) is installed in the anti-slip unit insertion hole (120).

[0078] Meanwhile, as shown in FIG. 6 or FIG. 9, the anti-rolling unit (500) is composed of a driving cam assembly (510) that is screw-connected to the anti-rolling unit insertion hole (120) and is raised and lowered by forward and reverse rotation, a guide (520) installed in the housing (100), a slider (530) that is slidably installed on the guide (520) and has a driven cam (531) corresponding to the driving cam assembly (510), and a return spring (540) that returns the slider (530).

[0079] In addition, as shown in FIG. 6, the anti-slip unit insertion hole (120) is composed of a first anti-slip unit insertion hole (121) in which a female screw is formed, and a second anti-slip unit insertion hole (122) having a relatively larger inner diameter than the first anti-slip unit insertion hole (121).

[0080] In addition, the drive cam assembly (510) is formed with a drive cam (511), a hollow drive cam lifting body (512) inserted into the second anti-slip unit insertion hole (122), and a drive cam rotating body (513) installed across the inside of the hollow drive cam lifting body (512) and screw-connected to the first anti-slip unit insertion hole (121).

[0081] Here, a hexagonal head (518) is formed to be coupled with the lifting device described later on the upper portion of the drive cam rotor (513).

[0082] At this time, a stopper (514) is formed on the upper part of the driving cam rotor (513), and a catch member (515) is provided on the lower part of the driving cam rotor (513) to prevent the driving cam rotor (512) from being separated from the driving cam elevating member (512). At this time, the catch member (515) is configured as a separation structure by a mechanical coupling element such as a screw, thereby preventing the driving cam rotor (513) from being separated from the inside of the driving cam elevating member (512) and allowing rotation to occur.

[0083] Meanwhile, a ring groove (516) is formed on the outer and inner surfaces of the driving cam lifting body (512), and an O-ring (517) is installed in the ring groove (516). The O-ring (517) prevents fluid leakage.

[0084] The operation of the above anti-slip unit (500) will be described with reference to FIG. 9. The housing (100) rotates the drive cam rotor (513) in the forward direction while surrounding the branch hole (P1) and the pipe (P).

[0085] Next, the driving cam assembly (510) moves downward by the downward movement of the driving cam rotor (513).

[0086] And, the driving cam (511) of the driving cam assembly (510) pushes the driven cam (531) and the slider (530) moves toward the branch hole (P1).

[0087] Next, the slider (530) is in close contact with the branch hole (P1) to prevent the plugging device (A) of the present invention from being pushed and firmly fixes the plugging device (A) inside the branch hole (P1).

[0088] On the other hand, when the reverse rotation of the drive cam rotor (513) is performed, the slider (530) is released from contact with the branch hole (P1) by the restoration spring (540).

[0089] In the above description and drawings, the slider (530) is configured as two, but it is also possible to form the drive cam assembly (510) as a pyramid or cone and configure the slider (530) as three or more.

[0090] In addition, an interference prevention groove (518) is formed in the driving cam (511) to prevent interference with the restoration spring (540) when the driving cam assembly (510) is lowered.

[0091] And, as shown in Fig. 6, a dynamic pressure valve insertion hole (130) is formed in the housing (100), and a dynamic pressure valve (600) is installed in the dynamic pressure valve insertion hole (130).

[0092] At this time, the dynamic pressure valve insertion hole (130) is formed to penetrate in the axial direction of the housing (100). A taper is formed at the entrance of the dynamic pressure valve insertion hole (130) to guide the insertion of the bolt for the lifting device described later. At this time, the upper entrance of the dynamic pressure valve insertion hole (130) is formed with a female screw.

[0093] Meanwhile, as illustrated in FIG. 1 or FIG. 6, the dynamic pressure valve (600) is composed of a valve seat (610) formed in the dynamic pressure valve insertion hole (130), a valve body (620) that opens and closes the valve seat (610), a valve spring (630) that elastically supports the valve body (620), and a closing cap (640) that fixes the valve spring (630) and has an inlet hole (641) formed therein. At this time, the valve body (620) is pressed by a connecting bolt of the lifting device.

[0094] Additionally, a discharge hole (650) is formed in the housing (100) through which the fluid passing through the valve seat (610) is discharged.

[0095] After installing the plugging device (A) of the present invention by the above-mentioned dynamic pressure valve (600), the fluid is sent to a part where the fluid does not flow, thereby maintaining the dynamic pressure by matching the pressure at the front and rear ends of the plugging device (A).

[0096] That is, when the plugging device (A) of the present invention is installed in a state where the dynamic pressure is not maintained, the plugging device (A) is pushed out of the branch hole (P1) by the pressure of the fluid, making insertion difficult. In addition, even after insertion into the branch hole (P1), the pressure of the fluid may act on the plugging device (A), causing a pushing phenomenon and damage to the device.

[0097] In this way, when performing a non-stop flow method on a pipe through which fluid flows or when installing or replacing a valve, it is essential to maintain the dynamic pressure in front and behind the installation target, so a detailed explanation is omitted.

[0098] Lastly, an elevating unit (B) for operating the plugging device (A) for the non-stop method of the present invention is further provided.

[0099] The operation of a plugging device for a non-stop flow method using a lifting unit is briefly explained using FIGS. 11a and 11b as examples.

[0100] First, replace the old valve, branch pipe and splitter pipe or close the unused branch hole by closing the valve and then removing the branch pipe (1).

[0101] Next, a lifting unit (B) including a plugging device (A) for the non-stop method of the present invention is installed on the flange of the dividing tube (2).

[0102] Then, after opening the valve of the pipe, the lifting unit (B) lowers the plugging device (A) and places the plugging device on the pipe (3) to (4).

[0103] Next, the lifting unit operates the clamp of the plugging device to close the branch hole of the pipe with the plugging device (5).

[0104] Then, separate the lifting unit and plugging device (6).

[0105] Next, raise the lifting unit and separate the lifting unit (7)~(8).

[0106] Finally, separate the valve and the diaphragm (9).

[0107] Conversely, the above-described (1) to (9) are performed in reverse order to install the splitter tube and valve, and then the plugging device is unclamped with the lifting unit, and the plugging device and the lifting unit are separated. Thereafter, the valve of the splitter tube is closed, and the branch pipe can be installed.

[0108] According to the present invention, a branch hole (P1) is placed between a housing (100) and a clamp (300), and the inside and outside of the branch hole (P1) are clamped to stably close (seal) the branch hole (P1).

[0109] In addition, the center of the branch hole (P1) and the center of the housing (100) are aligned by the anti-slip unit (500) to accurately guide the clamping position.

[0110] In addition, insertion of the plugging device is easy by matching the pressure inside the pipe (P) and the internal pressure of the plugging device by the pressure valve (600).

[0111]

[0112] While preferred embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail, the technical scope of the present invention is not limited to the aforementioned embodiments and should be interpreted in accordance with the scope of the patent claims. Those skilled in the art should recognize that numerous modifications and variations are possible without departing from the scope of the present invention.

[0113] For example, in the above description, water pipes were used as an example, but this is not particularly limited and can be applied to various types of pipes such as industrial water cooling pipes, gas pipes, and oil pipes.

[0114] Additionally, the present invention can also close a branch hole in a general closed pipe through which no fluid flows.
