Description

Confectionery and confectionery sets

[0001] The present invention relates to confectionery and confectionery sets.

[0002] Conventionally, there have been confectioneries that are playful and can be enjoyed while eating. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a confectionery of this type that has at least one part made of soft candy and at least one part made of at least one of gummy candy and hard candy, and that can be attached and assembled.

[0003] Patent Registration No. 3158533

[0004] The confectionery in Patent Document 1 solves the problem of teeth sticking by dispersing gummies in soft candy. However, the confectionery in Patent Document 1 has problems such as requiring multiple types of confectionery and multiple shapes of parts for combination.

[0005] To provide a confectionery product with a simple structure and improved interest, without requiring a plurality of types of confectionery or a plurality of types of parts.

[0006] One embodiment of the present invention is a confectionery comprising a starting point, an end point, and a path portion formed between the starting point and the end point, the path portion including a branching portion that forms multiple paths, a first path portion extending from the branching portion toward the end point, and a second path portion extending from the branching portion toward the end point, and the end point portion including a character portion.

[0007] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide confectioneries with improved taste.

[0008] FIG. 1 is a plan view showing one embodiment of the confectionery of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along line A-A in FIG. 1. FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along line B-B in FIG. 1. (a) is a cross-sectional view taken along line D-D of the confectionery shown in FIG. 1, and (b) is a cross-sectional view for explaining the operation of peeling off the film lid. FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing an initial state of how to play with the confectionery. FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing an example of a state in which the confectionery has broken in how to play with the confectionery. FIG. 5 is a perspective view showing a state in which the confectionery has not broken in how to play with the confectionery. FIG. 6 is a plan view showing another embodiment of the confectionery of the present invention.

[0009] A confectionery product according to one embodiment of the present invention will now be described with reference to the drawings. Fig. 1 is a front view of a confectionery product 1 according to this embodiment.

[0010] The confectionery 1 is a gummy candy. As shown in Fig. 1, the confectionery 1 is contained in a container 101, which constitutes a confectionery set 100. When sold, the confectionery 1 is contained in the container 101 shown in the figure, and is then further contained in a cosmetic packaging bag that does not allow the state shown in Fig. 1 to be seen.

[0011] The gummy candy referred to here can be produced using predetermined amounts of, for example, starch syrup, sugar, gelatin, concentrated fruit juice, edible oils and fats, sorbitol, acidulants, thickeners, plant-derived colorants, and flavorings.

[0012] As shown in Figure 1, this confectionery 1 has a start point 10, which is the portion where removal begins when removing it from the storage section 101, and an end point 30, which is the final portion where removal ends, as well as a path section 20 that is relatively long between the start point 10 and the end point 30. The path section 20 further includes a branch section 20a that forms multiple paths. It has a first path section 21 that extends from the branch section 20a toward the end point 30, and a second path section 22 that extends from the branch section 20a toward the end point 30 and is shorter than the first path section 21. There are also two end points 30. The path sections 20 are configured to have the same width in a plan view, and are configured non-linearly, with multiple bends.

[0013] The end point section 30 includes a character section C, and is presented as if multiple characters are competing in a sports day, for example. In addition, the two end point sections 30 each include a different character section C, for example, a "turtle" character is provided on the right side and a "rabbit" character is provided on the left side. In addition, a character section C is provided near the branching section 20a.

[0014] The end point 30 of the candy 1 is configured to have a larger surface area than the start point 10, emphasizing the character reaching the finish line in a sports day race. The path 20 is also configured so that its width (L20) in a plan view is smaller than the maximum width (L10) of the start point 10 and the maximum width (L30) of the end point 30.

[0015] Furthermore, the path portion 20 is formed in a color different from the colors of the start portion 10 and the end portion 30, and the path portion 20 has a different taste from the start portion 10 and the end portion 30. Furthermore, since the materials are different in the different colored portions, the path portion 20 has a different aroma from the aroma of the start portion 10 and the end portion 30. Furthermore, the colors of the path portion 20, the start portion 10, and the end portion 30 are mixed at the connection portion 20b. As a result, the tastes and aromas are mixed at the connection portion 20b.

[0016] Figure 2 is a cross-sectional view of a portion taken along line A-A in Figure 1. As shown in Figure 2, in the gummy candy, the character drawing in the character portion C may be a color-coded drawing, but in this embodiment, it is formed by an uneven portion Cb. For example, the character portion C in the starting point portion 10 and the ending point portion 30 has an upper surface 1a that is flat, while an uneven portion Cb is provided on the deepest surface 102g of the bottom 102 of the containing portion 101 so that the lower surface 1b can form a three-dimensional surface (uneven surface) with a bulge. The uneven portion Cb is formed to create a distinctive drawing of the character portion C.

[0017] Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along line B-B in Fig. 1. As shown in Fig. 3, in the cross section of the path portion 20, one surface, i.e., an upper surface 1a, is flat, and the other surface, i.e., a lower surface 1b, is curved (see the first path portion 21 and the second path portion 22 in Fig. 3).

[0018] Here, the gummy candy confectionery 1 made of the above-mentioned material is configured so that, when contained in the storage unit 101, it can adhere to the deepest surface 102g of the bottom 102 of the storage unit 101 at all of the starting point 10, the ending point 30, and the path 20. Also, all of the starting point 10, the ending point 30, and the path 20 are configured to be expandable and contractible. In this way, because the confectionery 1 adheres to the deepest surface 102g of the storage unit 101, removing the confectionery 1 from the storage unit 101 is made more difficult as will be described later, which can be enjoyed.

[0019] On the other hand, the upper surface 1a of the confectionery 1 is configured so as not to adhere to the bottom 102 of the storage section 101 or the film lid 103. For example, the upper surface 1a of the confectionery 1 is stored within the deepest surface 102g of the starting point section 10, the end point section 30, and the path section 20 so as to be lower than the shallowest upper bottom surface 102a of the bottom section 102.

[0020] The housing portion 101 has an outer periphery 105 that rises from the upper bottom surface 102a. The film cover 103 is welded to the upper end surface of the outer periphery 105 and is attached at a position above the upper bottom surface 102a so as not to come into contact with the upper surface 1a.

[0021] Furthermore, the bottom 102 of the storage section 101 is provided with a protrusion 104 (see FIG. 1) at least near the end point 30, which protrudes higher than the upper bottom surface 102a and approaches the film lid 103. This protrusion 104 is provided, for example, around the end point 30 (see FIG. 1). This configuration makes it difficult for the film lid 103 to come into contact with the upper surface 1a.

[0022] 4A is a cross-sectional view of the confectionery product shown in FIG. 1 taken along line D-D, and FIG. 4B is a cross-sectional view illustrating the film lid peeling operation. When the confectionery product 1 is contained, the film lid 103 is welded to the entire outer periphery 105 of the container 101. The container 101 is provided with a film peeling section 108 at its outer periphery, which serves as the starting point for peeling the film lid 103. This film peeling section 108 is located at one corner of the container 101, which is rectangular in plan view (see FIG. 1). The film peeling section 108 is formed with a pair of notches 108b at its base end, implicitly indicating that this is the area where the film lid 103 is to be peeled. The film lid 103 is welded only at the outer periphery 105 on the base end side, remaining unwelded, and has a facing section 103a facing the film peeling section 108.

[0023] The film peeling portion 108 has the notch 108b formed therein, which makes it easy to deform the film peeling portion 108. Furthermore, as shown in Fig. 4(a) , the film peeling portion 108 is provided at an inclination (inclination angle θ) in a direction away from the film lid 103 (downward in the figure).

[0024] With this configuration, when opening the storage section 101, as shown in Figure 4 (b), for example, one finger can be used to pinch the facing portion 103a, which is the end of the film, and the other finger can be used to pinch the film peeling portion 108, thereby peeling off the film lid 103.

[0025] The operation of removing the candy 1 will be described below. Figure 5 is a perspective view of the initial state of how to play with the candy 1. After removing the film lid 103, as shown in Figure 5, the candy 1 is removed from the starting point 10, which is marked with a start mark 106. This starting point 10 has a middle bottom surface 102b that is lower than the upper bottom surface 102a (see Figure 2), making it easier for the fingertips to approach the starting point 10.

[0026] Then, when the starting point 10, the ending point 30, and the path 20 are in a contracted state, the confectionery 1 contained in the storage section 101 is picked up by pinching the starting point 10 with the fingertips. This allows the confectionery 1 to be removed while stretching. When removing the confectionery 1, the starting point 10, the path 20, and the ending point 30 are separated from the storage section 101 in this order. Since the confectionery 1 is held by the large, bulging underside 1b and in contact with the storage section 101, a large adhesive force is generated. Furthermore, the path 20 is configured to be narrower than the starting point 10 and the ending point 30, allowing for a greater degree of stretchability.

[0027] Figure 6 is a perspective view showing an example of a first state 1F in which the confectionery 1 has broken when playing with the confectionery 1. The confectionery 1 is configured to be breakable at any point when stretched beyond a certain level. When separating the confectionery 1 from the storage section 101, the confectionery can break at any of the starting point 10, the ending point 30, and the path section 20. For example, in the case shown in Figure 6, the confectionery breaks at the section 22c just before the branching section 20a. This is because the two paths, the first path section 21 and the second path section 22, are connected at the branching section 20a, so the adhesive strength is stronger than that of the path section 20 just before it. Furthermore, the peeling directions of the two paths are different, making the confectionery difficult to peel.

[0028] FIG. 7 is a perspective view showing a second state 2F in which the candy 1 does not break during play. The example shown in FIG. 7 represents the second state 2F, in which the candy 1 is successfully lifted without breaking at any point. In this case, the branching section 20a is successfully cleared and peeling proceeds, but at this time, the character on the second path section 22, which has a shorter path, can peel off the end point 30 slightly earlier. By designating the character on the side that achieves this peeling earlier as, for example, a "turtle" and the character on the side that achieves the peeling later as a "rabbit," it is possible to create a race between the rabbit and the turtle. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 7, when the starting point 10, the end point 30, and the path section 20 are extended, the length (L1) from the starting point 10 to the end point 30 is longer than the length (L101) of the long side of the storage section 101.

[0029] Fig. 8 is a plan view showing another embodiment of the confectionery 1 of the present invention. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 8, one end point section 30 is provided, and the end point section 30 includes one character section C. In this case, the first path section 21 and the second path section 22 branching off from the branch section 20a are configured to reach the same end point section 30. In other words, the first path section 21 and the second path section 22 have different lengths and are configured to meet just before the end point section 30.

[0030] In this embodiment, the character portion C of the end point portion 30 is configured to resemble a fish. Also, a design resembling a fishing rod 60 is drawn on the start point portion 10, and the fishing line 61 of this fishing rod 60 is drawn so as to connect to the vicinity of the start mark 106 on the start point portion 10. This configuration that creates the fishing effect allows the player to enjoy two different modes: a first mode 1F in which the fishing fails (the candy breaks), and a second mode 2F in which the fishing is successful, in which the starting point portion 10, the path portion 20, and the end point portion 30 are all successfully peeled off.

[0031] As described above, in the state where the candy set 100 of this embodiment is stored in the storage section 101, the starting point section 10 and the ending point section 30 are connected by the path section 20, and since it has multiple paths by the branching section 20a, it is possible to enjoy playing by reaching the character section C at the ending point section 30 via different paths.

[0032] Furthermore, in the confectionery 1 of this embodiment, when two or more end points 30 are provided, each end point 30 includes a character part C of a different shape, so that it is possible to enjoy the character for each route.

[0033] In the confectionery 1 of this embodiment, the first path portion 21 and the second path portion 22 have different lengths, so that it is possible to enjoy different ways of reaching the end point 30. In particular, because the confectionery 1 is stretchable and the path portion 20 stretches more than other portions, it is possible to enjoy the way the path portion 20 stretches when peeling it off from the storage portion 101.

[0034] Furthermore, since the path section 20 is narrower than the start point section 10 and the end point section 30 and is configured to have the same width, the path section 20 can be easily extended, and the path section 20 can be made to appear to be extended greatly.

[0035] In the confectionery 1 of this embodiment, the end point portion 30 is configured to have a larger area than the start point portion 10 in a plan view, thereby emphasizing the character portion C of the end point portion 30. Furthermore, by making the start point portion 10 and the end point portion 30 a different color from the path portion 20, the end point portion 30 and the start point portion 10 can be emphasized.

[0036] In the confectionery 1 of this embodiment, the path section 20, the starting point section 10, and the ending point section 30 include portions at their connecting sections 20b that create the illusion of a blended color, making it possible to create a blended color. Furthermore, if the confectionery 1 is color-coded and flavored with different tastes, the connecting sections 20b can create the illusion of a blended flavor. Furthermore, if the colors are flavored with different scents, the connecting sections 20b can create the illusion of a blended scent.

[0037] Furthermore, the path section 20 has a different color, taste, and scent from the start section 10 and the end section 30, so that it is possible to present the color, taste, and scent for each of the path section 20, the start section 10, and the end section 30. In particular, it is possible to present the color, taste, and scent associated with the character of the end section 30.

[0038] In the confectionery set 100 of this embodiment, the path portion 20 is stored in a non-linear manner in the storage portion 101, so that the difficulty of separating the path portion 20 from the bottom portion 102 can be enjoyed.

[0039] In the confectionery set 100 of this embodiment, the upper surface 1a of the cross section of the path section 20 is flat and the lower surface 1b is curved, so that, for example, the contact area of the confectionery 1 with the deepest surface 102g of the storage section 101 can be easily changed. As a result, the adhesion force of the confectionery 1 to the storage section 101 can be changed.

[0040] In the confectionery set 100 of this embodiment, the top surfaces 1a of the starting point 10, the ending point 30, and the path 20 are configured so as not to adhere to the storage section 101, and therefore can be pulled up by pulling them away from the storage section 101 from the top surface 1a side. Also, because all parts of the confectionery 1 (the starting point 10, the ending point 30, and the path 20) are stored in the storage section 101 in a contracted state, when they are pulled away from the storage section 101, the adhesive force can be used to make each part stretch.

[0041] In the confectionery set 100 of this embodiment, the storage section 101 is provided with a film lid 103 that can open and close the storage section 101 without coming into contact with the confectionery 1, so that the confectionery 1 can be protected without sticking to the film lid 103. Furthermore, the bottom 102 of the storage section 101 is provided with a protrusion 104 that protrudes higher than the confectionery 1 at least near the end point 30, so that contact between the film lid 103 and the top surface 1a of the confectionery 1 is avoided. In particular, even when removing the film lid 103, contact can be effectively avoided by the protrusion 104, so that the confectionery 1 does not adhere to the film lid 103 and be removed from the bottom 102 when the film lid 103 is peeled off, so that

[0042] Furthermore, in the candy set 100 of this embodiment, the starting point 10, the ending point 30, and the path 20 are configured so that, in an extended state, the length (L1) from the starting point 10 to the ending point 30 is longer than the length (L101) of the long side of the storage section 101. As a result, when the candy 1 is pulled out from the starting point 10 and then pulled out via the path 20 to the character section C at the ending point 30, it can be made to appear larger than the size of the storage section 101. It can also be made to appear as if the character section C is being pulled out.

[0043] In this type of candy set 100, the candy 1 is configured to be breakable at any of the starting point 10, the ending point 30, and the path 20, so that it is possible to enjoy either a first state 1F (failed to pull out) in which the candy breaks partway through the operation of removing it from the bottom 102, or a second state 2F (successful to pull out) in which the candy does not break.

[0044] Furthermore, in the confectionery set 100 of this embodiment, the storage section 101 has, at its outer peripheral edge 105, a facing portion 103a that is not adhered to the outer peripheral edge 105, and is provided with a film peeling portion 108 that is inclined in a direction away from the film lid 103, so that when peeling off the film lid 103, the film lid 103 can be easily grasped and the film lid 103 can be easily peeled off.

[0045] While one embodiment of the present invention has been described above, the present invention can be modified as appropriate within the scope of its technical concept. For example, while the above embodiment is configured to have two path sections (first path section 21 and second path section 22), the present invention is not limited to this configuration and may have three or more path sections.

[0046] In the above embodiment, the starting point 10 and the ending point 30 are configured to be approximately circular or elliptical in plan view, but are not limited to this shape.Furthermore, the characters are not limited to those shown in the drawings.

[0047] In addition, in the above embodiment, the protrusion 104 is provided so as to surround the end point portion 30, but this is not limited to this, and for example, it may be provided at a position close to the start point portion 10 and the path portion 20.

[0048] As described above, the present specification describes the following:
