Confectionery and confectionery sets

[0001] The present invention relates to confectionery and confectionery sets.

[0002] Conventionally, there have been confectioneries that are playful and can be enjoyed while eating. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a confectionery of this type that has at least one part made of soft candy and at least one part made of at least one of gummy candy and hard candy, and that can be attached and assembled.

[0003] Patent Registration No. 3158533

[0004] The confectionery in Patent Document 1 solves the problem of teeth sticking by dispersing gummies in soft candy. However, the confectionery in Patent Document 1 has problems such as requiring multiple types of confectionery and multiple shapes of parts for combination.

[0005] To provide a confectionery and a confectionery set that has a simple structure and improves interest without requiring a plurality of types of confectionery or a plurality of types of parts.

[0006] One embodiment of the present invention is a confectionery comprising a starting point, an end point, and a path portion formed between the starting point and the end point, the path portion including a first path portion facing a first direction and a second path portion facing a second direction, and the first path portion and the second path portion including a portion connected at an acute angle.

[0007] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide confectioneries with improved taste.

[0008] Fig. 1 is a plan view showing one embodiment of the confectionery of the present invention. Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along line A-A in Fig. 1. Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along line B-B in Fig. 1. Fig. 4 is a cross-sectional view showing an example of how to remove the starting part of the confectionery. Fig. 5 is a perspective view showing an example of how to play with the confectionery, in which the confectionery has been broken. Fig. 6 is a perspective view showing how to play with the confectionery, in which the confectionery has not been broken.

[0009] A confectionery product according to one embodiment of the present invention will now be described with reference to the drawings. Fig. 1 is a front view of a confectionery product 1 according to this embodiment.

[0010] The confectionery 1 is a gummy candy. As shown in Fig. 1, the confectionery 1 is contained in a container 101, which constitutes a confectionery set 100. When sold, the confectionery 1 is contained in the container 101 shown in the figure, and is then further contained in a cosmetic packaging bag that does not allow the state shown in Fig. 1 to be seen.

[0011] The gummy candy referred to here can be produced using predetermined amounts of, for example, starch syrup, sugar, gelatin, concentrated fruit juice, edible oils and fats, sorbitol, acidulant, thickener, plant-derived coloring agent, and flavoring agent.

[0012] As shown in Figure 1, this confectionery 1 has a start point 10, which is the portion where removal begins when removing it from the storage section 101, and an end point 30, which is the portion where removal ends, and also has a path section 20 that is long and narrow between the start point 10 and the end point 30. This path section 20 has a plurality of first path sections 21 that face a first direction X1, and a plurality of second path sections 22 that face a second direction X2 that is opposite to the first direction X1. The path section 20 is a connecting section between the first path sections 21 that face the first direction X1 and the second path sections 22 that face the second direction X2, and the first connecting section J1 on the right side in the figure and the second connecting section J2 on the left side have portions where the path angles are acute.

[0013] For example, the first path portion 21 includes a first branch portion 21d provided midway through the second first path portion 21 from the top, and a second path portion 22 (the second path portion 22 having a cut end) extending toward the left side in the figure via the first branch portion 21d. The length (L23) of the second path portion 22 connected via the first branch portion 21d is configured to be shorter than the length (L22) of the second path portion 22 connected without via the first branch portion 21d.

[0014] For example, the second path section 22 has a second branch section 22d provided midway through the second path section 22 from the top, and a first path section 21 (a first path section 21 with a cut-off tip) extending toward the right side in the figure via this second branch section 22d. The length (L24) of the second path section 22 extending from this second branch section 22d is also configured to be shorter than the lengths (L21) of the other first path sections 21.

[0015] The storage section 101 in one set of sweets is rectangular in plan view, having a first end 111 on the upper short side, a second end 112 on the lower short side, a third end 113 on the left long side, and a fourth end 114 on the road side. The first direction X1 is the direction from the third end 113 to the fourth end 114, and the second direction X2 is the direction from the fourth end 114 to the third end 113.

[0016] The starting point 10 is located close to one corner K1 (upper left in the figure) when viewed in a plane of the storage section 101, and the ending point 30 is located close to the other corner K2 (lower right in the figure) that is farthest from the one corner K1.

[0017] The path sections 20 are configured to have approximately the same width in a plan view. Furthermore, the first connecting portion J1, which is the connecting portion between the first path section 21 and the second path section 22, and the second connecting portion J2 include a first character portion C1 that resembles, for example, a cloud. Furthermore, the first path section 21 and the second path section 22 include a second character portion C2 on their paths. Furthermore, the start point section 10 and the end point section 30 include a character portion C2 that is different from the character portion C1. The start point section 10 and the end point section 30 have a shape that is wider than the path section 20.

[0018] Furthermore, the path portion 20 is formed in a color different from the colors of the start portion 10 and the end portion 30, and the path portion 20 has a different taste from the start portion 10 and the end portion 30. Furthermore, since the materials are different in the different colored portions, the path portion 20 has a different aroma from the aroma of the start portion 10 and the end portion 30. Furthermore, the colors of the path portion 20, the start portion 10, and the end portion 30 are mixed at the connection portion 20b. As a result, the tastes and aromas are mixed at the connection portion 20b.

[0019] 2 is a cross-sectional view of a portion taken along line A-A in FIG. 1. As shown in FIG. 2, storage section 101 has a rectangular cross section including bottom surface 102. The character in character section C may be depicted in different colors, but in this embodiment, it is formed by an uneven portion Cb on bottom surface 102. For example, character section C2 in starting point section 10 and ending point section 30 has an uneven portion Cb on the deepest surface 102g of bottom surface 102g of storage section 101 so that its upper surface 1a is flat while its lower surface 1b forms a three-dimensional surface (uneven surface) with a bulge. Character section C2 and character section C1 are formed to be depicted by this uneven portion Cb.

[0020] In addition, the upper surface 1a of the confectionery 1 is configured so as not to adhere to the bottom surface 102 of the storage section 101 or the film lid 103. For example, the upper surface 1a of the confectionery 1 is stored within the deepest surface 102g of the starting point section 10, the end point section 30 (see FIG. 3), and the path section 20 so as to be lower than the shallowest upper bottom surface 102a of the bottom surface 102.

[0021] The outer periphery 105 of the storage section 101 rises from the upper bottom surface 102a. The film cover 103 is welded to the upper end surface of the outer periphery 105 and is attached at a position above the upper bottom surface 102a so as not to come into contact with the upper surface 1a.

[0022] Here, the gummy candy confectionery 1 made of the above-mentioned material is configured so that, when contained in the storage section 101, it can adhere to the deepest surface 102g of the bottom surface 102 of the storage section 101 at all of the starting point 10, the ending point 30, and the path section 20. Also, all of the starting point 10, the ending point 30, and the path section 20 are configured to be expandable and contractible. In this way, because the confectionery 1 adheres to the deepest surface 102g of the storage section 101, it is difficult to remove the confectionery 1 from the storage section 101, which can be enjoyed.

[0023] Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along line B-B in Fig. 1. As shown in Fig. 3, in the cross section of the path portion 20, one surface, that is, the upper surface 1a, is flat, and the other surface, that is, the lower surface 1b, is curved.

[0024] Furthermore, a protrusion 104 (see FIG. 1) is provided on the bottom surface 102 of the storage section 101 at least near the end point 30 so as to protrude higher than the upper bottom surface 102a and come close to the film lid 103. This protrusion 104 is provided, for example, so as to surround the end point 30 (see FIG. 1). This makes it difficult for the film lid 103 to come into contact with the upper surface 1a.

[0025] When the film lid 103 contains the confectionery 1, it is welded to the entire outer periphery 105 of the storage section 101. The storage section 101 is provided with a film peeling section 108 on its outer periphery, which is the point where peeling of the film lid 103 begins. This film peeling section 108 is provided at one corner of the storage section 101, which is rectangular in plan view (see FIG. 1). The film peeling section 108 also has a pair of notches 108b (see FIG. 1) formed on its base end side, which are configured to indicate the portion of the film lid 103 that needs to be peeled off. Furthermore, the film lid 103 is welded only at the outer periphery 105 on the base end side, and is not welded elsewhere, and has a facing section 103a that faces the film peeling section 108.

[0026] The film peeling portion 108 has a cutout 108b formed therein, which makes the film peeling portion 108 more easily deformable. Furthermore, the film peeling portion 108 is provided at an angle θ in a direction away from the film lid 103 (downward in the figure). With this configuration, when opening the storage portion 101, for example, the film lid 103 can be peeled off by pinching the facing portion 103a, which is the end of the film, with one finger and pinching the film peeling portion 108 with the other finger.

[0027] The operation of removing the confectionery 1 will be described below. Figure 4 is a cross-sectional view showing an example of how to remove the starting point 10 of the confectionery 1. After removing the film lid 103, the confectionery 1 is removed from the starting point 10, which is marked with a start mark 106. This starting point 10 has a middle bottom surface 102b that is lower than the upper bottom surface 102a (see Figure 2), making it easier to approach the starting point 10 with your fingertips.

[0028] Furthermore, since the storage section 101 is made of a flexible soft material, for example, as shown in Figure 4, the bottom surface 102 can be pushed up and deformed with the fingers 51 of one hand, and the initial operation of removal can be performed by pinching it with the fingers 50 of the other hand.

[0029] Then, the starting point 10, the ending point 30, and the path 20, in their contracted state, lift the confectionery 1 contained in the storage section 101 from the starting point 10. This allows the confectionery 1 to be removed while stretching. When removing the confectionery 1, it is separated from the storage section 101 in the order of the starting point 10, the path 20, and the ending point 30. The confectionery 1 is held by the large, bulging underside 1b and is in contact with the storage section 101, so a strong adhesive force is generated.

[0030] Figure 5 is a perspective view showing an example of a first state 1F in which the confectionery 1 has broken when playing with the confectionery 1. The confectionery 1 is configured to be breakable at any point when stretched beyond a certain level. When separating the confectionery 1 from the storage section 101, the confectionery 1 can break at any of the starting point 10, the ending point 30, and the path section 20. For example, in the case shown in Figure 5, a breaking point 20c is formed just before the first branching point 21d. This means that the adhesive strength is stronger at the first branching point 21d than at the path section 20 just before it. Furthermore, because the peeling directions are different in the two paths, peeling becomes difficult.

[0031] Figure 6 is a perspective view showing a second state 2F in which the candy 1 does not break when playing with the candy 1. In the example shown in Figure 6, the candy 1 is successfully lifted without breaking at any point, in the second state 2F. In this case, the peeling proceeds by successfully overcoming the two hurdles of the first branch 21d and the second branch 22d. However, the second branch 22d is particularly difficult to operate because the candy 1 is lifted for a long time.

[0032] As described above, the confectionery 1 of this embodiment has a path section 20 extending from the starting point 10 to the ending point 30 in which the path angles of the connecting sections (first connecting section J1, second connecting section J2) between the first path section 21 extending in the first direction X1 and the second path section 22 extending in the second direction X2 opposite to the first direction X1 are acute, thereby making it possible to provide an easily breakable confectionery 1. In particular, the peeling resistance when peeling from the storage section 101 can create the ease of breakage.

[0033] Furthermore, the connecting portions (first connecting portion J1, second connecting portion J2) between the first path portion 21 and the second path portion 22 include, for example, a cloud-shaped first character portion C1, which increases the width (area) of the connecting portions, thereby enabling adjustment of the strength of the connecting portions.

[0034] In the confectionery 1 of this embodiment, the path section 20 includes a first branch section 21d and a second branch section 22d connected to paths facing in a direction different from the peeling direction of the path (X1 direction or X2 direction), making it difficult to apply a force that determines the peeling direction. Furthermore, the lengths of the branch paths extending from both branch sections 21d, 22d are shorter than the other path sections facing the same direction (either X1 or X2 direction), making it possible to prevent the peeling resistance from becoming too strong.

[0035] In the confectionery 1 of this embodiment, the character part C2 is included on the path, so that in addition to enjoying the appearance of the path part 20, one can also enjoy the changes in taste and aroma.

[0036] In this embodiment of the confectionery 1, the storage section 101 has a rectangular cross section with a bottom surface 102 and is made of a bendable soft material, so that when the confectionery 1 is removed from, for example, the starting point 10, this starting point 10 can be easily deformed, making it easy to handle (easily removed).

[0037] In this embodiment of the confectionery 1, the starting point 10 is located close to one corner K1 of the storage section 101 when viewed in a plane, and the ending point 30 is located close to the other corner K2 that is farthest from the one corner K1, so that the area of the storage section 101 can be effectively utilized and the path section 20 can be made longer.

[0038] In the confectionery 1 of this embodiment, the path section 20, the starting point section 10, and the ending point section 30 include portions at their connecting sections 20b that create the illusion of a blended color, making it possible to create a blended color. Furthermore, if the confectionery 1 is color-coded and flavored with different tastes, the connecting sections 20b can create the illusion of a blended flavor. Furthermore, if the colors are flavored with different scents, the connecting sections 20b can create the illusion of a blended scent.

[0039] Furthermore, the path section 20 has a color, taste, and scent that are different from the tastes of the start point section 10 and the end point section 30, so that it is possible to present the color, taste, and scent for each of the path section 20, the start point section 10, and the end point section 30. In particular, it is possible to present the color, taste, and scent associated with the character of the end point section 30.

[0040] In the confectionery set 100 of this embodiment, the upper surface 1a of the cross section of the path section 20 is flat and the lower surface 1b is curved, so that, for example, the contact area of the confectionery 1 with the deepest surface 102g of the storage section 101 can be easily changed. As a result, the adhesion force of the confectionery 1 to the storage section 101 can be changed.

[0041] In the confectionery set 100 of this embodiment, the storage section 101 is provided with a film lid 103 that can open and close the storage section 101 without coming into contact with the confectionery 1, so that the confectionery 1 can be protected without sticking to the film lid 103. Furthermore, the bottom surface 102 of the storage section 101 is provided with a protrusion 104 that protrudes higher than the confectionery 1 at least near the end point 30, so that contact between the film lid 103 and the top surface 1a of the confectionery 1 is avoided. In particular, even when removing the film lid 103, contact is effectively avoided by the protrusion 104, so that the confectionery 1 does not adhere to the film lid 103 and be removed from the bottom surface 102 when the film lid 103 is peeled off, so that

[0042] In this type of candy set 100, the candy 1 is configured to be breakable at any of the starting point 10, the ending point 30, and the path 20, so that it is possible to enjoy either a first state 1F (failed to pull out) in which the candy breaks partway through the operation of removing it from the bottom surface 102, or a second state 2F (successful to pull out) in which the candy does not break.

[0043] Although one embodiment of the present invention has been described above, the present invention can be modified as appropriate within the scope of its technical concept. For example, in the above embodiment, two branch portions, the first branch portion 21 d and the second branch portion 22 d, are provided, but the present invention may be modified to include only one of the branch portions, or may include three or more branch portions.

[0044] In the above embodiment, the characters in the first character section C1 and the second character section C2 are not limited to those shown in the drawings.
