Abstract
Description
Garment processing equipment
[0001] This application relates to a clothing treatment device.
[0002] A clothing treatment device is a concept that includes a washing machine that washes laundry (hereinafter referred to as “clothes”), a dryer that dries dry items (hereinafter referred to as “clothes”), and a combined washing machine and dryer that can wash and dry clothes.
[0003] A clothing treatment device capable of drying clothes removes moisture from clothes by supplying high-temperature air (hot air) to the clothes. Depending on the air flow method, it can be divided into a device with an exhaust-type drying section and a device with a circulation-type (condensation) drying section.
[0004] The exhaust type drying unit supplies hot air to the space where clothes are stored, but the air that has completed heat exchange with the clothes is discharged outside the clothes processing unit, while the circulation type drying unit supplies hot air to the space where clothes are stored, but the air that has completed heat exchange with the clothes is dehumidified and heated, and then supplied back to the clothes.
[0005] The clothing treatment device equipped with the above-mentioned circulating drying unit includes an air supply unit that forms an air circulation path, and a heat exchange unit that dehumidifies and heats air moving along the air supply unit.
[0006] In a garment treatment device equipped with the above-mentioned circulating drying unit, foreign substances discharged from garments during the drying process may enter the air supply unit or the heat exchange unit and remain there. Therefore, filtration and removal of foreign substances have also been important design considerations for garment treatment devices.

In this case, the tub supply path (63) may be provided to connect the heat exchange chamber (612) and the air supply path (43).
[0067] In order to minimize heat loss occurring during movement through the above-mentioned tub supply path (63) and to minimize the resistance of the flow path, it is preferable that the above-mentioned supply path (43) be positioned above the horizontal line (H) passing through the center of the above-mentioned connecting body (41).
[0068] The above tub supply path (63) may be provided to include a fan housing (631) connecting the heat exchange chamber (612) and the air supply path (43), and a fan (634) provided inside the fan housing (631) to move air.
[0069] The fan housing (631) may be provided to include a housing inlet (632) that guides air discharged from the heat exchange chamber (612) to the fan (634) and a housing outlet (633) that guides air discharged from the fan (634) to the air supply path (43).
[0070] The above fan (634) may be equipped with an impeller rotatably fixed inside the fan housing, and a motor fixed to the outside of the fan housing to rotate the impeller.
[0071] The above heat exchange unit (7) may include a first heat exchanger (71) and a second heat exchanger (72) provided in the heat exchange chamber (612), a refrigerant pipe (75) that provides a refrigerant circulation path and passes through the first heat exchanger (71) and the second heat exchanger (72), a compressor (73) located outside the heat exchange chamber (612) and moving the refrigerant along the refrigerant pipe (75), and a pressure regulator (74) that controls the pressure of the refrigerant circulating along the refrigerant pipe.
[0072] The first heat exchanger (71) is a means for cooling the air introduced into the heat exchange chamber (612) (a means for removing moisture from the air), and the second heat exchanger (72) is a means for heating the dehumidified air.
[0073] The refrigerant passing through the first heat exchanger (71) absorbs heat from the air and vaporizes, and the vaporized refrigerant is supplied to the second heat exchanger (72) through the compressor (73), and the refrigerant condensed while passing through the second heat exchanger (72) is supplied again to the first heat exchanger (71) through the pressure regulator (74).
[0074] The above filtration chamber (611) is provided with an inlet (615), and the heat exchange chamber (612) is provided with an exhaust port (616). The inlet (615) is a means for introducing air supplied from the chamber supply path (62) into the filtration chamber (611), and the exhaust port (616) is a means for discharging air discharged from the heat exchange chamber (612) into the tub supply path (63).
[0075] The above-mentioned air inlet (615) may be provided with a grating (615a) for filtering foreign substances, and the grating may be provided so as to be withdrawable from the air inlet (615) toward the center of the filtration chamber (611).
[0076] In order to secure the chamber supply path (62) and the tub supply path (63) to the body (61), the air supply unit (6) may be provided with a first connection part (617) and a second connection part (619).
[0077] The first connecting portion (617) may be provided on the rear surface (the surface facing the rear panel) of the body (61) and may be provided as a pipe-shaped passage that surrounds the air supply port (615), and the second connecting portion (619) may be provided on the side surface (the surface facing the first side panel) of the body (61) and may be provided as a pipe-shaped passage that surrounds the exhaust port (616). When the fan housing (631) is fixed to the body (61), the second connecting portion (619) may be provided to be connected to or inserted into the housing inlet (632) of the fan housing.
[0078] The above filtration chamber (611) and the heat exchange chamber (612) may be provided as spaces having an open upper surface. The open upper surface (upper open surface) of the filtration chamber (611) may be provided to be closed by a filtration unit (8) to be described later, and the open upper surface of the heat exchange chamber (612) may be provided to be closed by a body cover (613).
[0079] Furthermore, the body (61) may further be provided with a condensate discharge unit (65) for discharging condensate inside the heat exchange chamber (612).
[0080] The above condensate discharge unit (65) may be provided to include a condensate discharge port connected to the heat exchange chamber (612) through one surface of the body (61), and a condensate discharge pipe connecting the condensate discharge port and the drain unit.
[0081] The above body (61) may be provided with a compressor mounting portion (614) that supports the compressor (73).
[0082] The compressor mounting portion (614) is a space where the compressor (73) is mounted, and may be provided with a support plate extending from the body (61) toward the rear panel (13) so that the compressor (73) is positioned above the tub body (21).
[0083] The above-described body (61) forms a single mounting space in which the filtration chamber (611), the heat exchange chamber (612), and the compressor mounting portion (614) are connected without a separate fastening means, so that the assembly of the air supply portion (6) and the heat exchange portion (7) is easy.
[0084] It is preferable that the above-described air supply unit (6) and heat exchange unit (7) be positioned between the upper panel (14) and the upper surface of the tub body (21).
[0085] As described above, since the detergent supply unit (5) and the drain unit (24), etc. are provided at the bottom of the tub body (21), in order to install the air supply unit (6) and the heat exchange unit (7) at the bottom of the tub body (21), the volume of the cabinet (1) must be increased to provide a separate space for installation at the bottom of the tub body (21). However, if the air supply unit (6) and the heat exchange unit (7) are installed at the top of the tub body (21), the space required for installing the air supply unit (6) and the heat exchange unit (7) can be minimized (the volume of the cabinet can be minimized).
[0086] Meanwhile, in order to minimize the installation space of the air supply unit (6) and the heat exchange unit (7) and to minimize the flow resistance (air movement distance) of air moving from the tub body (21) to the chamber supply path (62), the filtration chamber (611) and the heat exchange chamber (612) may be arranged parallel to the width direction (Y-axis direction) of the tub body, and the chamber supply path (62) may be arranged parallel to the length direction (X-axis direction) of the tub body.
[0087] As illustrated in Fig. 1, the filter unit (8) can be detachably installed in the filter chamber (611) through the upper panel (14). That is, the upper panel (14) can further be provided with a chamber communication hole (141) that exposes the filter chamber (611) to the outside of the cabinet (1), and the filter unit (8) can be inserted into the filter chamber (611) through the chamber communication hole (141) or withdrawn from the filter chamber (611).
[0088] As shown in Fig. 5, a mounting portion (91) that provides a space for mounting the filter portion (8) may be provided at the top of the filter chamber (611).
[0089] The above mounting portion (91) may be provided to include a mounting body (911) fixed to the upper surface of the filtration chamber (611). The mounting body (911) may be provided to include a body penetration hole (912) communicating with the open upper surface (mounting hole, 618) of the filtration chamber (611), and a mounting space (913) providing a space in which the filtration portion (8) is mounted. The mounting space (913) may be provided in a shape that surrounds the body penetration hole (912).
[0090] The above filtering unit (8) may be provided to include a cover (81) having a shape capable of closing the body penetration hole (912), a support body (82) fixed to the cover (81) and positioned inside the filtering chamber (611), and a filtering net (83) provided on the support body (82) to separate foreign substances from the air. If the mounting unit (91) is not provided, the cover (81) may be provided in a shape capable of closing the mounting hole (618).
[0091] As illustrated in Fig. 6, the cover (81) may include a cover body (811) provided in a shape capable of closing the body penetration hole (618). The support body (82) may be fixed to the cover body (811).
[0092] A through-hole sealer (812) for sealing the body through-hole (912) may be provided on the bottom surface of the cover body (811). The through-hole sealer (812) may be provided with rubber or the like in a shape that surrounds the body through-hole (912). Therefore, when the cover body (811) is placed in the mounting space (913), the through-hole sealer (812) is positioned between the cover body (811) and the mounting space (913), thereby preventing air from being discharged through the body through-hole (912).
[0093] In order to facilitate the withdrawal and installation of the filter unit (8), a handle (813) may be provided on the upper surface of the cover body (811). FIG. 6 illustrates an example in which the handle (813) is provided with a receiving groove concavely bent toward the inside of the cover body (811), and a handle door rotatably fixed to the cover body (811) to open and close the receiving groove.
[0094] The cover body (811) may be provided with a fixed body (814) configured to support one side of the support body (82). FIG. 6 illustrates an example in which the fixed body (814) supports the rear side of the support body (82). When the cover body (811) is seated in the mounting space (913), the fixed body (814) can be inserted into the filtration chamber (611) through the body penetration hole (912).
[0095] As illustrated in Fig. 7, the fixed body (814) may be provided with a communication hole (815) that guides air supplied from the air supply port (615) into the interior of the support body (82). In order to guide air discharged from the air supply port (615) to the communication hole (815), the fixed body (814) may further be provided with an air supply port sealer (816).
[0096] As illustrated in FIG. 8, the air supply hole sealer (816) may be provided to include a sealer fixing body (816a) fixed to the fixing body (814), a connecting hole (816b) provided to penetrate the sealer fixing body (816a) and connect the air supply hole (615) and the communication hole (815), and a sealing body (816c) provided to surround the connecting hole (816b).
[0097] The above fixed body (816a) is provided in a ring shape surrounding the communication hole (815), and the connection hole (816b) may be provided in a shape corresponding to the communication hole (815). It is preferable that the sealing body (816c) be provided in a shape that is inclined upward from the sealer fixed body (816a) toward the center of the connection hole (816b).
[0098] When the above filter unit (8) is mounted on the filter chamber (611), the sealing body (816c) will be compressed between the sealer fixing body (816a) and the back surface (surface where the air inlet is formed) of the filter chamber.
[0099] When the sealing body (816c) is compressed, if the free end of the sealing body (816c) faces the center of the connecting hole (816b), even if the pressure of the air supplied from the air supply port (615) is high, the possibility of air leaking to the outside of the filtration chamber (611) can be reduced.
[0100] As illustrated in FIG. 6, the support body (82) may be provided to include a first frame (821) extending from the cover body (811) toward the filtration chamber (611), a second frame (822) extending from the cover body (811) toward the filtration chamber and positioned at a point facing the first frame, and a third frame (823) positioned between the two frames to provide a space in which the filtration net (83) is mounted.
[0101] When the rear surface of the above support body (82) is provided to be fastened or in contact with the above fixed body (814), it is preferable that the second frame (822) be provided in a shape that surrounds the communication hole (815) of the above fixed body.
[0102] The above filter net (83) can be fixed to the third frame (823) and positioned on the bottom surface and both sides of the support body (82).
[0103] As shown in Fig. 7, in order to prevent the filtering unit (8) from being withdrawn from the filtering chamber (611) during operation of the clothing treatment device (100), the clothing treatment device (100) may further be provided with a fixing unit (93).
[0104] The above-mentioned fixed part (93) may be provided to include a fixed groove (932) provided on one surface of the above-mentioned filtration chamber (611), and a fixed projection (931) provided on one surface of the above-mentioned support body (82) and fastened to the fixed groove (932).
[0105] FIG. 9 illustrates an example in which the fixing projection (931) is provided on the first frame (821) of the support body, and the fixing groove (932) is provided on the front surface of the filtration chamber (611). Unlike the above, the fixing projection may be provided on one surface of the filtration chamber (611), and the fixing groove may be provided on the first frame (821).
[0106] As shown in Fig. 10, the mounting portion (91) may further be provided with a guide (914) that facilitates the coupling of the cover body (811) and the mounting space (813).
[0107] The above guide (914) is a means for setting the position at which the cover body (811) is seated in the mounting space (813), and through the guide (914), the garment treatment device (100) can prevent the cover body (811) from leaving the mounting space (813) and being coupled to the mounting portion (91).
[0108] The above guide (914) may be provided with a mounting protrusion provided on one of the cover body (811) and the mounting body (911), and a fastening groove provided on the other of the cover body (811) and the mounting body (911) to which the mounting protrusion is coupled.
[0109] FIG. 10 illustrates an example in which the mounting protrusions (915, 916) are provided on the cover body (811) and the fastening grooves (917, 918) are provided on the mounting body (911).
[0110] The above mounting protrusion includes a first mounting protrusion (915) and a second mounting protrusion (916) protruding from one surface of the cover body (811), and the fastening groove may be provided in the mounting body (911) to include a first fastening groove (917) in which the first mounting protrusion (915) is received and a second fastening groove (918) in which the second mounting protrusion (916) is received.
[0111] The first mounting protrusion (915) and the second mounting protrusion (916) may be positioned on the rear surface of the cover body (811) (the surface positioned in the opposite direction to the direction in which the handle is positioned), but may be positioned spaced apart from each other. The first fastening groove (917) and the second fastening groove (918) may be provided as grooves provided in the mounting space (913).
[0112] Meanwhile, if the gap (W1) between the first mounting protrusion (915) and the second mounting protrusion (916) is set shorter than the width (W2) of the body penetration hole (912), when the cover body (811) is installed in the mounting space (913), the two mounting protrusions (915, 916) may catch on the edge of the body penetration hole (912), which may cause inconvenience.
[0113] To solve the above-described problem, it is preferable that the gap between the first mounting protrusion (915) and the second mounting protrusion (916) be set longer than the width (W2) of the body penetration hole (912).
[0114] The distance between the two mounting protrusions (915, 916) may be defined as the distance between the widthwise center of the first mounting protrusion and the widthwise center of the second mounting protrusion, or the distance between the inner edges of the two mounting protrusions, or the distance between the outer edges of the two mounting protrusions.
[0115] Fig. 11 illustrates an example in which the distance (W3) between the outer edges of the two mounting protrusions is set longer than the width of the body penetration hole.
[0116] That is, it is preferable that the gap (W3) between the outer edge (B1) of the first mounting protrusion (915) and the outer edge (B2) of the second mounting protrusion (916) be set longer than the width (W2) of the body penetration hole (912).
[0117] In this case, the gap between the edge (A1, inner edge of the first mounting protrusion) of the first mounting protrusion positioned in the direction toward the second mounting protrusion (916) and the edge (A2, inner edge of the second mounting protrusion) of the second mounting protrusion positioned in the direction toward the first mounting protrusion (915) may be set shorter than the width (W2) of the body penetration hole.
[0118] Although not shown in the drawing, the gap between the inner edge (A1) of the first mounting protrusion and the inner edge (A2) of the second mounting protrusion may be set longer than the width (W2) of the body penetration hole (912).
[0119] The above-described embodiment describes a case where the guide (914) is provided with a mounting protrusion and a fastening groove, but the fastening groove may also be provided as a fastening hole. The fastening hole may be provided as a first fastening hole into which the first mounting protrusion (915) is inserted, and a second fastening hole into which the second mounting protrusion (916) is inserted.
[0120] Fig. 12 illustrates another embodiment of a filter unit (8), and the filter unit according to this embodiment is characterized in that the support body (82) is withdrawable from the cover body (811).
[0121] The filter unit (8) according to the present embodiment includes a rail (818) provided along the longitudinal direction (X-axis direction) of the cover body (811), and a fastening frame (824) coupled to the rail (818) so as to be withdrawable from the cover body (811).
[0122] In this case, the first frame (821) extends from the fastening frame (824) toward the filtration chamber (611), the second frame (822) is fixed to the fastening frame (824) so as to be positioned at a point facing the first frame, and the third frame (823) is provided to connect the first frame and the second frame and can support the filter net (83).
[0123] Furthermore, in order to remove foreign substances remaining in the filter net (83) when separating the support body (82) from the cover body (811), the cover body (811) may be further provided with a removal part (817).
[0124] The above removal unit (817) may be provided with a removal unit body extending from the cover body (811) toward the inside of the support body (82), and a contact body provided along the edge of the removal unit body. Considering the durability of the filter net (83), the contact body may be provided with an elastic body such as rubber.
[0125] Since the above-described clothing treatment device and control method are examples of the present invention, the scope of rights of the present application is not limited to the structure or control method illustrated in the drawings.
