[0003] Patent Registration No. 3224153

[0004] In Patent Document 1, a "Shinko Manju" is provided in which a mark for distinguishing the contents of the confectionery is efficiently attached, a clear mark for distinguishing the contents is provided, and raw materials are used efficiently. However, the confectionery in Patent Document 1 is not an interesting confectionery.

[0005] The present invention aims to provide a confectionery, a confectionery set, and a method for manufacturing confectionery that are more interesting.

[0006] One embodiment of the confectionery of the present invention comprises an edible film onto which a pattern can be applied, a main body to which the edible film can be attached, and a covering part that can be attached to the main body to cover a portion of it, and the main body is configured so that the pattern of the edible film is exposed in the areas not covered by the covering part.

[0007] A method for manufacturing confectionery in one embodiment of the present invention includes a first forming step of forming the main body portion into a predetermined shape, a second forming step of forming the covering portion into a shape that can cover the main body portion, a film attachment step of attaching an edible film to the main body portion, and an attachment step of combining the main body portion after the first forming step and the covering portion after the second forming step.

[0008] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide confectioneries with improved taste.

[0009] Fig. 1 is a front view of a first embodiment of the confectionery of the present invention. Fig. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the confectionery shown in Fig. 1. Fig. 3 is a perspective view showing an example of a manufacturing process for the confectionery shown in Fig. 1. Fig. 4 is a perspective view showing an example of a confectionery set. Fig. 5 is a cross-sectional view of the confectionery set in a state in which the confectionery shown in Fig. 1 is contained. Fig. 6 is a perspective view showing a main body part and a covering part in a second embodiment of the present invention. Fig. 7 is a perspective view of the confectionery in the second embodiment during assembly. Fig. 8 is a perspective view of the confectionery in the final stage of the second embodiment.

[0010] (First Aspect) A confectionery product according to a first aspect of the present invention will now be described with reference to the drawings. Fig. 1 is a plan view of the confectionery product 1 according to this aspect. Fig. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the confectionery product 1.

[0011] As shown in Figure 1, the confectionery 1 is, for example, a Japanese confectionery modeled after a character, and consists only of the character's head. The components of this confectionery 1 include an edible film 30 with a pattern 35, a main body 10 to which the edible film 30 can be attached, and a covering part 20 that covers a portion of the main body 10 when attached to the main body 10 (see Figure 2). The main body 10 is configured as the character's face when the edible film 30 is attached. The covering part 20 also covers a portion of the main body 10, imitating the character's hair. More specifically, the edible film 30 has a pattern 35 drawn on it that represents the eyes, nose, mouth, and other parts of the character's face, and is attached so that this pattern 35 is exposed in the portion of the main body 10 that is not covered by the covering part 20.

[0012] As shown in Fig. 2, the main body 10 has a spherical shape. On the other hand, the covering part 20 is configured in a hairstyle and has a shape other than a sphere. The edible film 30 in Fig. 1 is a transparent film having a rectangular material shape.

[0013] The main body 10 is made primarily of mochi rice cake, while the covering 20 is made primarily of kneaded bean paste. The main body 10 is made of mochi rice cake containing milk extract, while the covering 20 is made of strawberry-flavored bean paste, for example, containing strawberry extract. Therefore, the main body 10 and the covering 20 are configured to have different tastes and textures. Furthermore, the main body 10 and the covering 20 are made of a viscous material, which facilitates connection (combination) during the manufacturing process described below. The main body 10 and the covering 20 are also made of different colors in appearance.

[0014] When the covering part 20 is not attached, the main body part 10 is spherical as shown in the figure and is configured to be rollable, but when the non-spherical covering part 20 is attached, it is configured to be non-rollable and can be stably placed as described below. In addition, a part of the outer surface of the main body part 10 is provided with a non-spherical flat surface 11. The provision of this flat surface 11 allows the main body part 10 to be stably held on the placement surface and its orientation to be fixed.

[0015] The pattern 35 on the edible film 30 is not limited to the one shown in the figure, and a plurality of different patterns are prepared in advance. As a result, any one of the edible films 30 selected can be attached to the main body 10. This allows the provision of confectioneries 1 featuring a plurality of characters. The edible film 30 is made of, for example, a transparent, flexible film, and can be adhered to the outer surface 10s of the main body 10. The pattern 35 is provided on the front or back surface of the film, for example, by printing. The edible film 30 may not be transparent, but may be a colored, light-transmitting film.

[0016] As shown in Fig. 2, the covering part 20 may have, for example, a hairstyle part 20d formed thereon before being attached to the main body part 10. However, as shown in Fig. 1, the hairstyle part 20d may be formed while the covering part 20 is attached to the main body part 10. In addition, a decorative part 33 such as a hairpin can be attached to the covering part 20 as an ornament.

[0017] A manufacturing method for the confectionery 1 of this embodiment will be described below with reference to Fig. 3. Fig. 3 is a perspective view showing an example of the manufacturing process for the confectionery 1. In the manufacturing method for the confectionery 1, for example, in a first shaping step, a main body 10 made from a predetermined amount of rice cake is shaped into a spherical shape of a predetermined size as shown in Fig. 3. In a second shaping step, a predetermined amount of kneaded bean paste is used to form a covering portion 20 for the hairstyle. As shown in Fig. 3, this covering portion 20 has a front opening 20a for the hairstyle of the facial part formed on the front side, and a substantially circular rear opening 20b formed on the rear side. The first shaping step and the second shaping step are carried out in parallel.

[0018] Furthermore, after the first forming step, a film attachment step is carried out in which the edible film 30 is attached to the surface of the main body 10. In this film attachment step, as shown in Figure 3, only the approximate center portion of the edible film 30 is attached to a portion of the outer surface 10s of the main body 10. Note that the entire edible film 30 may be attached to the outer surface 10s so that the four corner portions 30a are attached to the outer surface 10s, but, for example, when attachment is performed using an automated assembly device, it is also possible to attach only the center portion of the edible film 30.

[0019] Next, an attachment process is carried out in which the covering part 20 after the second shaping process is combined with the main body part 10 after the first shaping process and the film attachment process. As shown in Figure 3, the covering part 20 is placed over the main body part 10 with the edible film 30 provided so that the pattern 35 of the edible film 30 is exposed from the front opening 20a. In other words, the exposed part of the main body part 10 that is not covered by the covering part 20 is covered with the edible film 30 (see Figure 1).

[0020] 3, the corners 30a of the edible film 30 in this embodiment are not in contact with the outer surface 10s of the main body 10. However, when the covering 20 is attached to cover the outer periphery of the front surface of the main body 10 in the above-described attachment step, the corners 30a of the edible film 30 can be pressed against the outer surface 10s and attached thereto.

[0021] Furthermore, the covering part 20 attached to the main body part 10 is configured so as not to cover the rear surface of the main body part 10. Therefore, when the main body part 10 and the covering part 20 are combined, the flat surface 11 can be aligned with the placement surface to ensure stable placement. This allows, for example, processing of the hairstyle part 20d, as described above, or attaching the decorative part 33, which is attached to the covering part 20 in advance as shown in the drawing, after processing the covering part 20.

[0022] In the manufacturing method of this aspect, when automating the manufacturing process, for example, a first manufacturing line can be used to manufacture the non-rolling covering portion 20, a second manufacturing line can be used to manufacture the rolling movable main body portion 10, and the main body portion 10 of the second manufacturing line can be supplied to the first manufacturing line. In other words, a manufacturing line can be configured in which the main body portion 10 is moved to the position of the covering portion 20 by utilizing the rolling shape of the main body portion 10.

[0023] Fig. 4 is a perspective view showing an example of the confectionery set 100. Fig. 5 is a cross-sectional view of the confectionery set 100 in a state where the confectionery 1 is contained therein.

[0024] The confectionery 1 manufactured as described above is sold and provided as a confectionery set 100 housed in a square container 50, as shown in Fig. 4. As described above, the confectionery 1 is configured to be attachable to the bottom surface 51a of the container 50, and is housed with the character's face facing upward. That is, as shown in Fig. 5, the main body 10 has a flat surface 11 on its rear surface, which allows it to be stably held in surface contact with the bottom surface 51a of the container 50. As a result, even when subjected to slight vibrations or impacts, the confectionery 1 does not come into contact with the side wall 51b or top wall 52c of the container 50, and is displayed and sold while maintaining its shape and orientation.

[0025] The storage section 50 has a bottom section 51 with a bottom surface 51a, and a lid section 52 that covers the bottom section 51. The lid section 52 is configured to be light-transmitting so that the side and top surfaces of the confectionery 1 can be seen. This allows the shape and color of the confectionery 1 in the storage section 50 to be seen from the outside.

[0026] (Second embodiment) The second embodiment will be described below with reference to Figures 6 to 8. Figure 6 is a perspective view showing the main body 10 and the covering 20 in the second embodiment of the present invention. Figure 7 is a perspective view showing the confectionery 1 in the second embodiment during assembly, and Figure 8 is a perspective view showing the final stage of assembly of the confectionery 1 in the second embodiment.

[0027] The manufacturing method of the confectionery 1 in this embodiment differs from the above-described embodiments in that the shape of the covering portion 20 is different, and the method of attaching the covering portion 20 to the main body portion 10 is different. In the manufacturing method of the confectionery 1, in the first forming step, the edible film 30 is attached in its entirety to the outer surface 10s so that the four corner portions 30a of the edible film 30 are attached to the outer surface 10s. In the second forming step, the hairstyle covering portion 20 is formed by dividing it into two portions, a first covering portion 21 and a second covering portion 22 (see FIG. 7 ).

[0028] As shown in Figure 6, the first covering part 21 has a spherical recess 21c formed in its front part. The main body part 10 is then inserted into the spherical recess 21c so that its rear side (with the pattern 35 facing up) fits into the recess 21c, and assembled. Thereafter, as shown in Figure 7, the second covering part 22 is placed over the main body part 10 so that the pattern 35 is visible, and assembled. Thereafter, the hairstyle part 20d is formed as necessary. Finally, as shown in Figure 8, the decorative part 33 is placed in a predetermined position, and the confectionery 1 is completed.

[0029] Here, the finished confectionery 1 is placed on the placement section or storage section 50, and the placement surface of the confectionery 1 at this time is the bottom surface 21e of the first covering section 21 (see FIG. 6). Therefore, the bottom surface 21e is configured as a flat surface. Also, the main body 10 is provided with a flat surface 11, as in the first embodiment. By having this flat surface 11 correspond to the bottom surface 21e, it is easy to position the main body 10 relative to the spherical recess 21c.

[0030] Furthermore, since the covering portion 20 in this embodiment is made up of two members, it can be made up of different materials, different flavors, and different colors instead of the same material.

[0031] As described above, the confectionery 1 of this embodiment is formed by covering the spherical main body 10 with the non-spherical covering portion 20, creating a specific shape using two-colored materials, and further decorating the areas not covered by the covering portion 20 with an edible film 30 bearing a pattern 35, so that a wide variety of confectionery 1 can be easily produced by varying the pattern 35 of the edible film 30 and the shape of the covering portion 20 material, etc.

[0032] In the confectionery 1 of this embodiment, the main body 10 is formed in a different color from the covering 20, allowing the consumer to enjoy the different colors. Furthermore, the main body 10 is formed in a different flavor from the covering 20, allowing the consumer to enjoy two different flavors, or to enjoy a combination of the two. Furthermore, the main body 10 and covering 20 are made of different materials, allowing the consumer to enjoy the texture of each, as well as the texture of a mixture of the two.

[0033] In the confectionery 1 of this embodiment, the main body 10 and the covering 20 are formed from a viscous material, which makes it easy to join the main body 10 and the covering 20. Furthermore, the covering 20 is formed primarily from kneaded bean paste, which makes it easy to process the exterior shape, and furthermore, the decorative part 33 can be attached, which allows for decorative appearance.

[0034] Furthermore, in the confectionery 1 of this embodiment, the edible film 30 can be a transparent film with at least part of the character's facial elements drawn as a pattern 35 and attached to the main body 10, making it easy to imitate the character's facial part, and by preparing multiple types of edible film 30 and simply changing the edible film 30, different faces can be easily expressed.

[0035] In the confectionery 1 of this embodiment, the covering part 20 attached to the main body part 10 is attached so as to cover part of the front surface of the main body part 10 but not the rear surface of the main body part 10, so that the covering part 20 can be attached to the main body part 10 from a direction that does not cover the main body part 10. Furthermore, the covering part 20 can be shaped even after being attached to the main body part 10, so there is a wide range of possible shaping processes.

[0036] In the confectionery 1 of this embodiment, the main body 10 has a flat surface 11 on a portion thereof, which makes it easy to place on a flat surface and determines its orientation, which is advantageous. For example, the orientation is stable when attaching the edible film 30 or when combining the covering portion 20, making it easy to assemble automatically. Furthermore, when storing the confectionery 1 in the storage portion 50, the orientation of the character is important, and the surface contact between the flat surface 11 and the bottom surface 51a allows the confectionery 1 to be held stably.

[0037] In the confectionery set 100 of this embodiment, the main body 10 is spherical in shape and therefore can roll, making it easy to move and supply by machine.

[0038] In the present embodiment of the confectionery set 100, a manufacturing method including the first and second molding steps, the film attachment step, and the mounting step allows each material of the confectionery 1 to be molded and processed to provide a confectionery 1 that can be automatically assembled.

[0039] In the confectionery set 100 of this embodiment, the confectionery 1 is configured so that the flat surface 11 of the main body 10 can be attached to the bottom surface of the storage section 50, so it is possible to provide a confectionery set 100 in which the confectionery 1 is stably held within the storage section 50. In addition, the lid 52 material of the storage section 50 is configured so that the confectionery 1 can be seen, so the confectionery 1 modeled after the character can be seen from the outside.

[0040] Although one embodiment of the present invention has been described above, the present invention can be modified as appropriate within the scope of its technical concept. For example, in the above embodiment, the main body 10 is made mainly of mochi and the covering 20 is made mainly of nerikiri bean paste, but the present invention is not limited to this and can be modified as appropriate.
