DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0051] Conventional fluid connectors, in the prior art, have a valve core or stem in the middle of their flow path, resulting in significant fluid resistance. This leads to significant pressure loss at the connector outlet and inlet, severely impacting heat dissipation. Furthermore, the male and female ends are two completely different connectors, each with different assembly parts, roughly doubling the number of components required for a single valve, resulting in high manufacturing costs.

[0052] Based on the above problems, an embodiment of the present invention discloses a connecting end, a fluid connector and a liquid cooling device, which can improve the problem of large pressure loss at the connector outlet and inlet due to large fluid resistance in the flow channel of existing fluid connectors, and reduce manufacturing costs.

[0053] The following will clearly and completely describe the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. Obviously, the described embodiments are only part of the embodiments of the present invention, not all of the embodiments. Based on the embodiments of the present invention, all other embodiments obtained by ordinary technicians in this field without making creative efforts are within the scope of protection of the present invention.

[0054] Referring to Figures 1-5 , in some embodiments, the connection end provided by the present invention includes a valve seat 100 and a valve core 200. The valve seat 100 is provided with a flow channel 110. The valve seat 100 can be connected to a valve seat 100 on another connection end to form a fluid connector. The connection method between the two valve seats 100 is not specifically limited herein. It is understood that the flow channel 110 extends to the end surface 100a of the valve seat 100, thereby enabling communication between the flow channels 110 of the two valve seats 100. The valve core 200 is rotatably disposed within the valve seat 100. A through hole 210 is provided on the valve core 200. Rotation of the valve core 200 enables at least partial communication between the through hole 210 and the flow channel 110. Specifically, the connection end is opened when the valve core 200 rotates until the through hole 210 is aligned with the flow channel 110. The connection end is closed when the valve core 200 rotates until the through hole 210 is aligned with the flow channel 110. It can be understood that the through hole 210 of the valve core 200 is relative to the flow channel 110, which may mean that the through hole 210 and the flow channel 110 are at least partially connected, so that the fluid in the flow channel 110 can flow from one end of the flow channel 110 through the through hole 210 into the other end of the flow channel 110, that is, the connecting end is open; the through hole 210 of the valve core 200 is staggered with the flow channel 110, which may mean that the through hole 210 and the flow channel 110 are not connected, that is, the through hole 210 and the flow channel 110 are completely staggered, so that the fluid in the flow channel 110 cannot flow due to the blocking action of the valve core 200, that is, the connecting end is closed. A connection portion 120 is provided on the end surface 100a of the valve seat 100, and a first groove 220 is provided on the valve core 200. The first groove 220 can be used to insert the connection portion 120 of the other valve seat 100. The valve core 200 of the valve seat 100 can rotate as the connection portion 120 of the other valve seat 100 rotates. That is, the valve core 200 is driven by the connection portion 120 on the other connection end, and the rotation of the valve core 200 can at least partially connect the through hole 210 with the flow channel 110. The shape of the connection portion 120 is configured to correspond to the shape of the first groove 220, so that when the two connection ends are inserted into each other, the connection portion 120 of one is inserted into the first groove 220 of the other. The rotation of the valve seat 100 causes the connection portion 120 to rotate accordingly, thereby driving the valve core 200 of the other to rotate, thereby switching the open and closed states of the connection ends.

[0055] By using the connection end provided by the present invention, the valve seat 100 can be used to cooperate with the valve seat 100 of the other connection end. When the connection end is not connected to the other connection end, the through hole 210 of the valve core 200 of the connection end is not connected to the flow channel 110, that is, the connection end on this side is in a closed state. When the connection end is connected to the other connection end, the valve seats 100 of the two connection ends are cooperated and connected, and the connecting portion 120 of the connection end is inserted into the first groove 220 of the other connection end, and the connecting portion 120 of the other connection end is inserted into the first groove 220 of the connection end. When the two connection ends are rotated, the connecting portions 120 of the two connection ends rotate relative to the other connection end respectively and drive the valve core 200 of the other connection end to rotate, so that the valve cores of the two connection ends are rotated until the through hole 210 is at least partially connected to the flow channel 110, so that the two connection ends are opened and connected, as shown in Figure 6. When disconnecting, rotate the connecting part 120 in the opposite direction mentioned above, and drive the corresponding valve core 200 to rotate, so that the through hole 210 of the valve core 200 is not connected to the corresponding flow channel 110, so that both connection ends are closed, and then the two can be disconnected, as shown in Figure 7. The connecting end provided by the present invention forms a straight-through fluid flow channel when its valve core 200 rotates to at least part of the through hole 210 and the flow channel 110. There is no longer a valve core or valve stem in the fluid flow channel, so the fluid resistance in the flow channel can be reduced, thereby reducing pressure loss. In summary, the connecting end provided by the present invention can improve the problem of large pressure loss at the connector outlet and inlet due to the large fluid resistance in the flow channel in existing fluid connectors. At the same time, the two matching connecting ends can adopt the same structure, thereby reducing production and manufacturing costs. In addition, the use of the valve core 200 can also simplify the sealing structure and docking operation.

[0056] In some embodiments, the valve core 200 may be a plate-like structure. The plate-like structure occupies little space and is convenient for assembly with the valve seat 100. In other embodiments, the valve core 200 may also be in a block or other shape.

[0057] In some embodiments, the through hole 210 is eccentrically arranged on the valve core 200, that is, the through hole 210 is not located at the center of the valve core 200, that is, the through hole 210 is an eccentric hole. Accordingly, the flow channel 110 and the opening position toward the through hole 210 are arranged corresponding to the position of the through hole 210. Then, when the valve core 200 rotates around its central axis, the through hole 210 can rotate with the valve core 200 to be at least partially connected or not connected with the flow channel 110, thereby opening or closing the connection end. In other embodiments, the through hole 210 is not limited to the eccentric position of the valve core 200. For example, when the rotation of the valve core 200 is eccentric, the through hole 210 can also be arranged at the center position of the valve core 200.

[0058] In some embodiments, the connecting portion 120 of the other connecting end inserted into the first groove 220 can drive the valve core 200 to rotate under the action of an external force. When the valve core 200 rotates to at least partially connect the through hole 210 with the flow channel 110, the connecting end is opened. When the valve core 200 rotates to disconnect the through hole 210 from the flow channel 110, the connecting end is closed. In other words, an external force acts on the connecting portion 120 of the other connecting end to rotate it. The rotation of the connecting portion 120 drives the corresponding valve core 200 to rotate, and the rotation of the valve core 200 realizes the switching between opening and closing of the connecting end.

[0059] In some embodiments, referring to Figures 1, 8, and 10, a retaining groove 130 is further provided on the end surface 100a. A first groove 220 is aligned with the retaining groove 130. The retaining groove 130 allows the connecting portion 120 of the other connecting end to be inserted and rotated along the retaining groove 130, thereby axially securing the two valve seats 100 at the two connecting ends. It will be understood that the alignment of the first groove 220 with the retaining groove 130 means that the connecting portion 120 of the other connecting end can pass through the retaining groove 130 and be inserted into the first groove 220. This allows the connecting portion 120 of the other connecting end to cooperate with the retaining groove 130 to axially secure the two valve seats 100 at the two connecting ends and simultaneously drive the valve core 200 to rotate. The two valve seats 100 are axially secured, i.e., they are axially restricted, maintaining a connection that cannot be disconnected. Specifically, they are circumferentially rotatable relative to each other, allowing the connecting portion 120 to drive the valve core 200 to rotate. The valve seat 100 adopts the above-mentioned configuration, which is used to provide both the driving force for the rotation of the valve core 200 and the axial connection force of the two connecting ends. The slot 130 can be specifically arc-shaped, and the connecting portion 120 moves along the arc-shaped slot 130 as the valve seat 100 rotates. When connecting, hold the two valve seats 100 with both hands, insert the connecting portion 120 of the valve seat 100 into the corresponding slot 130 of the other valve seat 100, and rotate the two hands in opposite directions. At this time, the connecting portion 120 drives the valve core 200 of the opposite connector to rotate until the through hole 210 of the valve core 200 corresponds to the flow channel 110, and the two connecting ends are connected at the same time. When disconnecting, just rotate the valve seat 100 in the opposite direction mentioned above. The connection is achieved by the engagement of the slot 130 and the connecting portion 120 , and the connecting portion 120 is fixed to the valve seat 100 . The rotation of the valve seat 100 drives the connecting portion 120 to rotate. The structure is simple, the connection is reliable, and the two connecting ends are easy to plug in and out.

[0060] In some embodiments, each valve seat 100 is provided with two connecting portions 120 and two retaining grooves 130. Of course, in other embodiments, the number of connecting portions 120 and retaining grooves 130 provided on each valve seat 100 may not be two.

[0061] In some embodiments, a notch 121 is provided on one end of the side wall of the connecting portion 120 close to the end face 100a, and the slot 130 includes a plug-in section 131 and a locking section 132 connected to each other. The width of the plug-in section 131 is greater than the width of the locking section 132. The plug-in section 131 can be used for plugging and unplugging the connecting portion 120 of another valve seat 100, and the locking section 132 can be used to snap into place with the notch 121 of the connecting portion 120 of another valve seat 100. A notch 121 is provided at one end of the side wall of the connecting portion 120 near the end face 100a of the valve seat 100, thereby forming a stepped surface. The connecting portion 120 can be inserted into the slot 130 via the plug-in section 131. The connecting portion 120 rotates along the slot 130. After rotating from the plug-in section 131 to the locking section 132, the locking section 132 engages with the notch 121, that is, the end face of the locking section 132 can be abutted against the stepped surface of the connecting portion 120, thereby limiting the axial displacement of the connecting portion 120 and the opposite valve seat 100, and achieving effective locking of the two valve seats 100. The slot 130 and the connecting portion 120 are arranged as above, with a simple structure and reliable fit. When the connection end is disconnected and needs to be in a closed state, it is understandable that when the first groove 220 of the valve core 200 corresponds to the plug-in section 131, the through hole 210 is not connected to the flow channel 110, and the valve core 200 is in a closed state. That is, when the valve core 200 of this connector is in the closed state, the connecting portion 120 of the other connector can be inserted into the plug-in section 131 of this connector and into the first groove 220. The length of the plug-in section 131 specifically matches the width of the connecting portion 120. This ensures that while the connecting portion 120 rotates to adjust the opening and closing state of the connection end, most of the rotational travel is in the axial locking state of the two valve seats 100, further facilitating the rotation operation and improving the reliability of the entire fluid connector. In other embodiments, the retaining groove 130 may also adopt other engaging shapes that cooperate with the boss.

[0062] In some embodiments, referring to Figures 2-3, 11 and 12, a retractable first pin 140 is provided on the valve seat 100. When the valve core 200 rotates until the first groove 220 is aligned with the plug-in section 131, the first pin 140 can be inserted into the first groove 220. By reusing the first groove 220 on the valve core 200, when the first groove 220 of the valve core 200 is staggered with the plug-in section 131, the valve core 200 can be offset against the first pin 140 to limit the first pin 140 from extending toward the valve core 200; and when the valve core 200 is rotated until the first groove 220 is aligned with the plug-in section 131, the first groove 220 is aligned with the first pin 140, and the valve core 200 no longer limits the first pin 140, so that the first pin 140 can automatically extend after the connecting part 120 is disengaged from the first groove 220 to be inserted into the first groove 220, which can not only lock the valve core 200 in the initial position when the connecting ends are plugged in, but also provide a reminder of the rotation position of the valve core 200 during the plug-in operation, with a simple structure and precise positioning.

[0063] Specifically, the valve core 200 rotates 90° clockwise from the initial position, the through hole 210 of the valve core 200 is aligned with the flow channel 110 , the entire flow channel 110 forms a passage, and the connector is in an open state.

[0064] In some embodiments, the first groove 220 extends through both ends of the valve core 200. A retractable first pin 140 is provided on the valve seat 100. When the valve core 200 rotates until the first groove 220 is aligned with the insertion section 131, the first pin 140 can be inserted into the corresponding first groove 220. In the initial state, the first groove 220 of the valve core 200 is aligned with the insertion section 131, and the first pin 140 is inserted into the first groove 220. When the two connecting ends are plugged into each other, the connecting portion 120 of the opposite connecting end is inserted into the first groove 220, thereby pushing out the first pin 140, that is, the first pin 140 is retracted outside the first groove 220. As the opposite connecting portion 120 drives the valve core 200 to rotate, the first pin 140 and the valve core 200 are abutted to limit the extension of the first pin 140. When the valve core 200 rotates until the first groove 220 is aligned with the plug-in section 131, the valve core 200 no longer limits the first pin 140. When the opposite connecting portion 120 is pulled out, the first pin 140 can automatically extend to insert into the first groove 220, that is, it can lock the valve core 200 in the initial position when the connecting ends are plugged into each other. Specifically, when the valve core 200 rotates until the first groove 220 is aligned with the plug-in section 131, the through hole 210 is disconnected from the flow channel 110.

[0065] In some embodiments, the valve seat 100 is provided with a first mounting groove 150. The first pin 140 includes a first sliding member 141 and a first elastic member 142. The first sliding member 141 is slidably mounted in the first mounting groove 150. The first elastic member 142 is disposed between the first sliding member 141 and the first mounting groove 150 and can be used to push the first sliding member 141 into the first groove 220. The first elastic member 142 is used to provide a force to push the first sliding member 141 into the first groove 220. When the first groove 220 is aligned with the insertion section 131, the first sliding member 141 extends into the first groove 220 under the action of the first elastic member 142. Furthermore, the provision of the first elastic member 142 provides a click sound when the first sliding member 141 extends into the first groove 220, thereby facilitating an operator's accurate determination of the rotational position of the valve core 200.

[0066] In some embodiments, referring to Figures 2-3, 11 and 13, a retractable second pin 160 is provided on the valve seat 100, and a second groove 230 is provided on the valve core 200 corresponding to the second pin 160, that is, a second groove 230 is also provided on the valve core 200, and when the valve core 200 rotates until the through hole 210 is aligned with the flow channel 110, the second pin 160 is inserted into the second groove 230. By providing a second groove 230 on the valve core 200, when the through hole 210 of the valve core 200 is not connected to the flow channel 110, the valve core 200 can be offset against the second pin 160 to limit the second pin 160 from extending toward the valve core 200; and when the valve core 200 is rotated until the through hole 210 is aligned with the flow channel 110, the valve core 200 no longer limits the second pin 160, so that the second pin 160 can automatically extend to insert into the second groove 230, which can lock the valve core 200 in the position where the connection end is docked and opened, and at the same time provide a reminder of the rotation position of the valve core 200 during operation.

[0067] In some embodiments, the valve seat 100 is provided with a second mounting groove 170. The second pin 160 includes a second sliding member 161 and a second elastic member 162. The second sliding member 161 is slidably mounted in the second mounting groove 170, with a portion of the second sliding member 161 positioned outside the valve seat 100. The second elastic member 162 is disposed between the second sliding member 161 and the second mounting groove 170 and is used to push the second sliding member 161 into the second groove 230. The second elastic member 162 provides a force to push the second sliding member 161 into the second groove 230. When the through hole 210 is aligned with the flow channel 110, the second pin 160 is aligned with the second groove 230. The second sliding member 161, under the action of the second elastic member 162, extends into the second groove 230, thereby precisely positioning the valve core 200. Furthermore, the provision of the second elastic member 162 provides a click sound when the second sliding member 161 extends into the second groove 230, thereby helping the operator to accurately determine the rotational position of the valve core 200. Part of the second sliding member 161 is located outside the valve seat 100 to facilitate operation.

[0068] When a first pin 140 and a second pin 160 are provided, and the valve seat 100 is provided with a slot 130 that cooperates with the connecting portion 120, when the two connecting ends are docked, hold the two connecting ends with both hands respectively; insert the connecting portion 120 into the corresponding slot 130 of the other connecting end respectively, and at the same time push the first pin 140 that can be used for initial positioning of the valve core 200 out of the end face of the valve core 200, and rotate the two hands in opposite directions. At this time, the connecting portion 120 will respectively drive the valve core 200 at the opposite connecting end to rotate until a click sound is heard, that is, the second pin 160 is inserted into the second groove 230 of the valve core 200, and the valve core 200 is accurately positioned. The through hole 210 of the valve core 200 is aligned with the flow channel 110 and is in a connected state, and the two connecting ends are connected at the same time.

[0069] When closing, hold the two connecting ends with both hands respectively, and at the same time, use the thumbs to move the second pins 160 of the two connecting ends away from the end faces of the valve core 200 to exit the second groove 230, and at the same time rotate the two hands in opposite directions. At this time, the connecting part 120 will drive the valve core 200 of the opposite connecting end to rotate until it rotates to the initial position of the closed valve, and a clicking sound is heard at the same time, that is, the first pin 140 is in the working state, and the two connecting ends are closed at the same time; the valve core 200 of the two connecting ends are staggered with the entire flow channel 110, and the two connecting ends are disconnected from the entire flow channel 110 respectively.

[0070] In some embodiments, the part of the second sliding member 161 located outside the valve seat 100 constitutes an operating part, and the second sliding member 161 can be disengaged from the second groove 230 by toggling the operating part. When the second sliding member 161 is disengaged from the second groove 230, the second sliding member 161 releases the restriction imposed on the valve core 200. In this case, the valve core 200 can be rotated. When the valve core 200 is rotated to the initial valve closing position, the connecting part 120 is located in the corresponding plug-in section 131, and the two connecting ends can be separated at this time.

[0071] In other embodiments, the first pin 140 and the second pin 160 may also be made of other structures that can be extended and deformed and reset, such as springs and gas rods.

[0072] In other embodiments, markings may be provided on the outer circumference of the valve seat 100 to indicate the relative rotation angle. The valve core 200 may also be locked by locking the connection portion 120. For example, after the valve seats 100 are rotated into position, the two valve seats 100 are fixedly connected using a buckle or other structure. Alternatively, the valve core 200 itself may be locked using its own damping force, both of which can ensure the reliability of the connection state.

[0073] In some embodiments, end face 100a is further provided with a first sealing ring 300 for sealing with the other connecting end. A first communication hole 310 is defined in first sealing ring 300, corresponding to flow channel 110. Specifically, first sealing ring 300 is provided with first communication hole 310 that communicates with flow channel 110. By providing first sealing ring 300, when the two connecting ends are docked, first sealing ring 300 can achieve a seal between the end faces of the two connecting ends, thereby ensuring the reliability of the resulting fluid connector. Exemplarily, first sealing ring 300 can be a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) sealing ring.

[0074] In some embodiments, a second sealing ring 400 is disposed within the valve seat 100 at each end of the valve core 200. Each second sealing ring 400 is provided with a second communication hole 410 corresponding to the flow channel 110. In other words, the second sealing ring 400 is provided with a second communication hole 410 that communicates with the flow channel 110. In other words, the valve core 200 is compressed and sealed at both ends by the second sealing ring 400, blocking the entire flow channel 110 from the outside world. This ensures a reliable seal when the through hole 210 of the valve core 200 is disconnected from the flow channel 110, i.e., when the connection ends are closed, and also ensures reliable connectivity when the two connection ends are docked. The second sealing ring 400 can, for example, be a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) sealing ring.

[0075] In some embodiments, the valve seat 100 includes a valve body 101 and a valve cover 102 connected to the valve body 101. The valve cover 102 is provided with a connecting portion 120 and a retaining groove 130. The end surface 100a is located on the valve cover 102. The connecting portion 120 and the retaining groove 130 are located near the edge of the end surface 100a. There are two connecting portions 120 and two retaining grooves 130. The flow channel 110 includes a valve body flow channel 111 provided within the valve body 101 and a valve cover flow channel 112 provided within the valve cover 102. The valve body 101 and the valve cover 102 form a receiving cavity. The valve core 200 is provided in the receiving cavity and forms a seal with the valve body 101 and the valve cover 102, respectively. The valve seat 100 adopts a split valve body 101 and valve cover 102, which facilitates the installation of components such as the valve core 200. When the valve core 200 rotates until the through hole 210 is at least partially connected with the valve body flow channel 111 and the valve cover flow channel 112, the valve body flow channel 111 and the valve cover flow channel 112 are connected, and the connection end is opened; when the valve core 200 rotates until the through hole 210 is no longer connected with the valve body flow channel 111 and the valve cover flow channel 112, the valve body flow channel 111 and the valve cover flow channel 112 are blocked, and the valve body flow channel 111 is blocked from the outside, and the connection end is closed.

[0076] In some embodiments, the valve body 101 and the valve cover 102 are interference fit, and a steel ball 180 is provided on the valve body circumference or the valve cover circumference where the valve body 101 and the valve cover 102 are matched. The valve cover 102 and the valve body 101 are assembled through an interference fit relationship, which is convenient for operation. In actual application of the connector, a certain torque is often carried. In order to increase the torque tolerance of the connector, a steel ball 180 is added to the valve body circumference or the valve cover circumference where the valve body 101 and the valve cover 102 are matched as a torsion key to bear the torque during use, thereby ensuring the stability of the connection. Specifically, a accommodating groove for accommodating the steel ball 180 is provided on the valve body circumference or the valve cover circumference to facilitate the installation of the steel ball 180.

[0077] The present invention also provides a fluid connector. In some embodiments, the fluid connector includes a male end and a female end, each of which is a connection end of any of the above-mentioned embodiments. The male end's connection portion 120 is used to insert into the first groove 220 of the female end, and the female end's connection portion 120 is used to insert into the first groove 220 of the male end. When the male end and the female end rotate relative to each other, the male end's connection portion 120 drives the female end's valve core 200 to rotate, and the female end's connection portion 120 drives the male end's valve core 200 to rotate, thereby synchronously opening or closing the male and female ends. This fluid connector uses the connection end of the above-mentioned embodiment, so please refer to the above-mentioned embodiment for the beneficial effects of the fluid connector.
