AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

When cleaning surfaces such as carpets, it is difficult to effectively clean up silky objects, such as hair, wrapped in deep fluff, when existing cleaning devices clean up surfaces.

Method used

A roller brush is designed in which a plurality of cleaning components are arranged on the outer surface of the roller body, including a brush strip and two support strips. The support strip and the brush strip extend spirally respectively. The brush strip is located between the support strip. The distance between the outer edge of the support strip and the roller body axis is smaller than the distance between the outer edge of the brush strip and the roller body axis, ensuring that the support strip first contacts the object and removes the fluff, and the brush strip then cleans up debris.

Benefits of technology

Through this design, the support strip can effectively remove the tufted fluff during cleaning, and the brush strip can deeply clean up the debris hidden deep in the fluff, improving the cleaning effect of the filament, reducing the probability of the filament wrapped around the roller brush, and ensuring the normal operation of the cleaning device.

[0001] This application claims priority to Chinese patent application No. 202311237267.8 filed on September 22, 2023, with invention name “Roller brush, roller brush assembly and cleaning equipment”, and Chinese patent application No. 202311245939.X filed on September 22, 2023, with invention name “Roller brush and cleaning equipment”, the entire contents of which are incorporated by reference into this application. Technical Field

[0002] The present application relates to the field of cleaning devices, and in particular to a roller brush and a cleaning device. Background Art

[0003] A cleaning device is a commonly used household appliance that can be used to clean dust, dirt and other debris from surfaces such as floors, carpets and furniture.

[0004] A cleaning device typically consists of a housing and a roller brush, which is located within the housing and rotatably connected to the housing. During use, the roller brush rolls across the surface of the object being cleaned. As the roller brush rolls across the surface, it picks up dust and other debris, which are then drawn into the housing by suction.

[0005] When using a current cleaning device, various debris tends to hide among the tufts on surfaces such as carpets. In particular, filaments such as hair entangled deep within the tufts are difficult to clean.

[0052] Figure 1 is a schematic diagram of the structure of a cleaning device provided in an embodiment of the present application. As an example, the cleaning device may be a vacuum cleaner. Figure 2 is a bottom view of a cleaning device provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the cleaning device includes a body 100 and a roller brush 200. The body 100 has a roller brush mounting groove 100a. The roller brush 200 is located in the roller brush mounting groove 100a and is rotatably connected to the body 100.

[0053] FIG3 is a cross-sectional view taken along line Ⅰ-Ⅰ in FIG2 . As shown in FIG3 , a side wall of the roller brush mounting groove 100 a has an air inlet 100 b .

[0054] The cleaning device may further include a dust collecting member, which may be a dust collecting box, a dust collecting bag or other container capable of accommodating debris. The dust collecting member is connected to the body 100, and the air inlet 100b is connected to the roller brush mounting groove 100a and the dust collecting member.

[0055] As shown in FIG. 3 , the cleaning device further includes a comb-tooth bar 300 . The comb-tooth bar 300 is located between the roller brush 200 and the air inlet 100 b and is connected to the body 100 .

[0056] The comb teeth 300 are used to interact with the roller brush 200 during the rotation of the roller brush 200 to separate foreign matter, such as hair and other filaments, remaining on the roller brush 200 from the roller brush 200 .

[0057] Figure 4 is a partial schematic diagram of the structure of a cleaning device provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figure 4, a power mechanism 400 and a transmission mechanism 500 are also provided within the body 100. The transmission mechanism 500 is connected to the power mechanism 400 and the roller brush 200 to drive the roller brush 200 to rotate. The transmission mechanism 500 can be connected to one end of the roller brush 200.

[0058] Illustratively, the power mechanism 400 may include a motor, and the transmission mechanism 500 may be a belt transmission mechanism.

[0059] When the cleaning device is in use, the opening of the roller brush mounting slot 100a faces the surface of the object to be cleaned. Debris on the surface of the object to be cleaned is drawn into the roller brush mounting slot 100a by the airflow and then enters the dust collection unit through the air intake 100b. During this process, some debris directly enters the roller brush mounting slot 100a under the airflow and is then sucked into the air intake 100b. Other debris is separated from the surface of the object to be cleaned by the roller brush 200, then enters the roller brush mounting slot 100a under the airflow and is then sucked into the air intake 100b.

[0060] Figure 5 is a schematic diagram of the structure of a roller brush 200 provided in an embodiment of the present application. This roller brush 200 is used in a cleaning device. As shown in Figure 5 , the roller brush 200 includes a roller body 10 and multiple cleaning assemblies 20. The cleaning assemblies 20 are disposed on the outer surface of the roller body 10 along its axial direction. The multiple cleaning assemblies 20 are spaced apart along the circumference of the roller body 10.

[0061] As an example, the roller brush 200 may include two cleaning assemblies 20, which are arranged symmetrically with respect to the center. By providing multiple cleaning assemblies 20, the cleaning efficiency can be improved.

[0062] The cleaning assembly 20 includes a brush bar 21 and two support bars 22. The brush bar 21 and the two support bars 22 each spirally extend from the first end of the roller body 10 to the second end of the roller body 10, with the brush bar 21 located between the two support bars 22. The spacing between the two support bars 22 in the same cleaning assembly 20 along the circumferential direction of the roller body 10 is smaller than the spacing between two adjacent cleaning assemblies 20 along the circumferential direction of the roller body 10.

[0063] For example, the first end of the roller body 10 may be the end for transmission connection with the transmission mechanism 500. The second end of the roller body 10 may be the other end of the roller body 10 facing away from the first end of the roller body 10. With the direction parallel to the axis of the roller body 10 and pointing from the second end to the first end as the positive direction, both the brush strip 21 and the support strip 22 may be right-handed structures, that is, when viewed from the second end toward the first end, the rotation direction of both the brush strip 21 and the support strip 22 is clockwise.

[0064] Figure 6 is a schematic diagram of a cross-section of a roller brush provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figure 6, the cross-section of the roller brush 200, i.e., the cross-section perpendicular to the axis of the roller body 10, has intersections with the outer edges of the support strip 22 and the brush strip 21. For ease of distinction, the intersection of the outer edge of the support strip 22 and the cross-section of the roller brush 200 is defined as the first intersection A, the intersection of the outer edge of the brush strip 21 and the cross-section of the roller brush 200 is defined as the second intersection B, and the intersection of the rotation axis of the roller body 10 and the cross-section is the third intersection C.

[0065] In the embodiment of the present application, the spacing between two support bars 22 in the same cleaning assembly 20 along the circumferential direction of the roller body 10 may refer to the spacing between the outer edges of the two support bars 22 in the same cleaning assembly 20 in the same cross section of the roller brush 200. This spacing may be the straight-line distance between two first intersection points A in the same cleaning assembly 20 in the cross section, or the length of an arc between a ray passing through one first intersection point A and another ray passing through another first intersection point A, with the third intersection point C as the endpoint, where the arc has its center at the third intersection point C and at least one of the two first intersection points A as the endpoint of the arc.

[0066] In the embodiment of the present application, the spacing between two adjacent cleaning assemblies 20 along the circumferential direction of the roller body 10 may refer to the spacing between the outer edges of the two brush strips 21 in two adjacent cleaning assemblies 20 in the same cross section of the roller brush 200. This spacing may be the length of an arc between a ray passing through one second intersection point B and another ray passing through another second intersection point B in two adjacent cleaning assemblies 20 in the cross section, with the third intersection point C as the endpoint, where the arc has its center at the third intersection point C and at least one of the two second intersection points B as the endpoint of the arc.

[0067] In an embodiment of the present application, in the same cleaning component 20, the distance between the outer edge of the support strip 22 and the outer edge of the brush strip 21 may refer to the straight-line distance between the first intersection A and the second intersection B on the same cross-section of the roller brush 200, or it may be the length of an arc between a ray passing through the first intersection A and another ray passing through the second intersection B with the third intersection C as the endpoint. The center of the arc may be the third intersection C, and one of the endpoints of the arc may be the first intersection A or the second intersection B.

[0068] Figure 7 is a cross-sectional schematic diagram of a roller brush provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figure 7, the roller brush 200 includes two cleaning assemblies 20. The surface of the roller body 10 has two support ribs 11, which extend helically along the axial direction of the roller body 10. The two support ribs 11 and the two cleaning assemblies 20 are alternately arranged along the circumference of the roller body 10.

[0069] The larger the outer diameter of the roller body 10, the longer the minimum length of hair that can be entangled outside the roller body 10. In other words, hair of the same length is more difficult to be entangled outside the roller body 10 with a larger outer diameter. The support ribs 11 serve to increase the outer diameter of the roller body 10, thereby making it more difficult for hair to be entangled outside the roller body 10.

[0070] As an example, the two cleaning assemblies 20 are symmetrically arranged about the center of the roller body 10, the two support ribs 11 are symmetrically arranged about the center of the roller body 10, and along the circumference of the roller body 10, the distance from any one of the two support ribs 11 to the two cleaning assemblies 20 is equal.

[0071] Referring again to FIG. 6 , in the embodiment of the present application, the distance from the support rib 11 to the cleaning assembly 20 along the circumference of the roller body 10 may refer to the distance from the outer edge of the support rib 11 to the outer edge of the brush strip 21 in the same cross section of the roller brush 200. The intersection of the outer edge of the support rib 11 and the cross section of the roller brush 200 is defined as the fourth intersection D. The distance may be the straight-line distance between the fourth intersection D and the second intersection B on the cross section, or the length of an arc between a ray passing through the fourth intersection D and another ray passing through the second intersection B with the third intersection C as the endpoint. The center of the arc may be the third intersection C, and at least one of the second intersection B and the fourth intersection D may be the endpoint of the arc.

[0072] That is to say, the cleaning assembly 20 and the support ribs 11 are arranged at equal angles along the circumference of the roller body 10. Both the cleaning assembly 20 and the support ribs 11 can increase the outer diameter of the roller body 10. The more uniform arrangement can further reduce the possibility of hair being entangled outside the roller body 10.

[0073] The distance R1 from the outer edge of the brush strip 21 to the axis of the roller body 10, the distance R2 from the outer edge of one of the two support strips 22 to the axis of the roller body 10, and the distance R3 from the outer edge of the other of the two support strips 22 to the axis of the roller body 10 satisfy the following relationship:

[0074] R1 is greater than R2, and R1 is greater than R3.

[0075] As an example, R2 may be equal to R3.

[0076] The outer edge referred to here refers to the edge away from the axis of the roller body 10. For example, the outer edge of the brush strip 21 refers to the edge of the brush strip 21 away from the axis of the roller body 10.

[0077] R1 is greater than R2, and R1 is greater than R3, that is, along the radial outward direction of the roller body 10, the outer edge of the brush strip 21 exceeds the outer edge of the support strip 22. This allows the support strip 22 to push aside the tufted hairs of the object to be cleaned when cleaning the blanket, and the brush strip 21 can clean the debris hidden deep in the tufted hairs more deeply and bring the filamentous objects out from the depths of the tufted hairs.

[0078] In the embodiment of the present application, a cleaning assembly 20 is disposed on the side of the roller 10. The cleaning assembly 20 includes a brush bar 21 and two support bars 22. The support bars 22 and brush bar 21 each extend spirally on the surface of the roller 10, with the brush bar 21 positioned between the two support bars 22. The spirally extending brush bar 21 and support bar 22 encourage hair to move to the ends of the brush bar during cleaning, preventing it from becoming entangled in the middle of the roller brush 200. During the cleaning process, one of the support bars 22 will contact the object before the brush bar 21, dislodging the tufts of hair on the surface of the object. Furthermore, because the distance between the outer edge of the brush bar 21 and the axis of the roller 10 is greater than the distance between the outer edge of the support bar 22 and the axis of the roller 10, after the support bars 22 dislodge the tufts, the brush bar 21 can penetrate deep into the tufts on the surface of the object to be cleaned, removing debris hidden deep within the tufts and separating filaments entangled with the tufts. After the brush bar 21 cleans, the other support bar 22 contacts the surface of the object to be cleaned again, sweeping away the debris removed by the brush bar 21. During the cleaning process, the support bars 22 on both sides of the brush bar 21 can support the filaments swept out, increasing the circumference of the filaments wrapped around the roller brush 200, reducing the probability of the filaments being wrapped around the roller brush 200 for more than one circle, making it less likely for the filaments to be entangled on the roller brush 200, without affecting the operation of the roller brush 200, and facilitating improved cleaning effects on surfaces such as carpets.

[0079] In some examples, the difference between R1 and R2 does not exceed 3 mm, and the difference between R1 and R3 does not exceed 3 mm.

[0080] The outer edge of the brush strip 21 exceeds the outer edge of the support strip 22 by too much length, which makes it difficult for the brush strip 21 to extend deep into the tufted hairs to clean debris during the rolling of the roller brush 200 .

[0081] Exemplarily, the difference between R1 and R2 is 1 mm.

[0082] In the above embodiment, by ensuring that the difference between R1 and R2 does not exceed 3 mm, the brush strip 21 can better clean the debris deep inside the tufted hairs during the rolling of the roller brush 200 .

[0083] In some examples, the distance between the outer edge of at least one of the two support bars 22 and the outer edge of the brush bar 21 is no more than 15 mm, for example, may be 2 mm.

[0084] During the cleaning process, hair and other filaments hidden in the tufts can easily become entangled or stuck in the brush bar 21, and thus be pulled out from the depths of the tufts by the brush bar 21 and separated from the tufts. The support bar 22 can support the filaments pulled out by the brush bar 21, reducing the probability of the filaments being entangled on the roller brush 200 for more than one round, thereby reducing the possibility of the filaments being entangled on the roller brush 200.

[0085] When the brush strip 21 and the filaments first come into contact, the filaments usually get entangled or stuck on the outer edge of the brush strip 21. If the distance between the outer edge of the brush strip 21 and the outer edge of the support strip 22 is too large, before the filaments are supported by the support strip 22, as the roller brush 200 rolls, the part of the filaments entangled or stuck on the brush strip 21 will slide along the brush strip 21 toward the roller body 10, causing the filaments to get entangled or stuck with the brush strip 21 more tightly, making it difficult for the filaments to separate from the brush strip 21 and be sucked into the air inlet 100b, resulting in the filaments remaining on the roller brush 200. In the embodiment of the present application, by setting the distance between the outer edge of the brush strip 21 and the outer edge of the support strip 22 to be relatively small, the brush strip 21 can be supported by the support strip 22 after bringing the filament out from the depth of the tufted hair for a short distance, thereby preventing the part of the filament entangled or stuck on the brush strip 21 from sliding along the brush strip 21 toward the roller body 10, making it easier to separate the filament from the brush strip 21.

[0086] For example, the distance between the outer edge of the support strip 22 and the outer edge of the brush strip 21 may be 2 mm.

[0087] In some examples, the outer edge of the support bar 22 may also be in contact with the brush bar 21 .

[0088] Exemplarily, an outer edge of the support bar 22 located in front of the brush bar 21 may be in contact with the brush bar 21 .

[0089] During the operation of the cleaning device, the roller brush 200 usually rotates in one direction. The support bar 22 located in front of the brush bar 21 referred to here refers to the support bar 22 located in front of the brush bar 21 between the two support bars 22 on the cross section of the roller brush 200, along the direction of rotation of the roller brush 200, and the other support bar 22 is the support bar 22 located behind the brush bar 21.

[0090] Figure 8 is a schematic diagram of the structure of a support bar provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figure 8, the cross-section of the support bar 22 can be T-shaped. The support bar 22 includes a first mounting portion 221 and a support portion 222. The first mounting portion 221 is strip-shaped, and the support portion 222 is connected to one side of the first mounting portion 221.

[0091] FIG9 is a partial structural diagram of a support bar provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in FIG9 , the connection between the support portion 222 and the first mounting portion 221 has a second rounded corner 223 , and the first mounting portion 221 is connected to the roller body 10 .

[0092] The first mounting portion 221 connects to the roller body 10, while the support portion 222 supports the filament. During operation, the support portion 222 deforms laterally when in contact with the object being cleaned, generating stress at the connection between the support portion 222 and the first mounting portion 221. Providing a second rounded corner 223 at the connection between the support portion 222 and the first mounting portion 221 reduces stress at the connection, thereby extending the service life of the support bar 22.

[0093] In some optional embodiments, the radius of the second rounded corner 223 is greater than a second radius threshold. For example, the second radius threshold may be 3 mm.

[0094] In the above embodiment, by making the radius of the second fillet 223 greater than the second radius threshold, the stress at the connection can be further reduced, and the wear of the support bar 22 at the contact point between the roller body 10 and the support bar 22 can be reduced, thereby improving the tear resistance of the support bar 22.

[0095] For example, the support bar 22 may be a rubber bar, a silicone bar, etc. The hardness of the support bar 22 may be 20 to 60 degrees, for example, the hardness of the support bar 22 is 30 degrees.

[0096] Figure 10 is a cross-sectional schematic diagram of a roller body provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figure 10, the surface of the roller body 10 has a first T-slot 10a, the slot of the first T-slot 10a has a first rounded corner 10b, and the first mounting portion 221 is located in the first T-slot 10a.

[0097] The first T-slot 10a cooperates with the first mounting portion 221 to prevent the support bar 22 from separating from the roller body 10. During lateral deformation, the support portion 222 may come into contact with both sides of the first T-slot 10a. Providing first rounded corners 10b on both sides of the first T-slot 10a reduces the stress on the support portion 222 during contact, thereby extending the service life of the support bar 22.

[0098] In some optional embodiments, the radius of the first fillet 10b is greater than a first radius threshold. The first radius threshold may be equal to, or greater than or less than, the second radius threshold. For example, the first radius threshold may be 3 mm.

[0099] In the above embodiment, by making the radius of the first fillet 10b greater than the first radius threshold, the stress at the connection can be further reduced, and the wear of the first T-slot 10a on the support bar 22 can be reduced, thereby improving the tear resistance of the support bar 22.

[0100] In this example, a portion of the first T-slot 10 a corresponding to the second rounded corner 223 may further have a third rounded corner 10 c , thereby further reducing the stress on the support bar 22 and extending the service life of the support bar 22 .

[0101] As shown in FIG. 8 , the first mounting portion 221 includes a first section 2211 and a second section 2212 connected to each other. The first section 2211 is close to the first end of the roller body 10 , and the thickness of the first section 2211 is smaller than that of the second section 2212 .

[0102] The thickness of the first mounting portion 221 refers to the distance between one side of the first mounting portion 221 close to the support portion 222 and the other side of the first mounting portion 221 away from the support portion 222 .

[0103] The greater thickness of the second section 2212 reduces the clearance between the second section 2212 and the first T-slot 10a. This smaller clearance stabilizes the support bar 22 and the roller body 10, preventing the support bar 22 from loosening. The smaller thickness of the first section 2211 increases the clearance between the first section 2211 and the first T-slot 10a, allowing the portion of the support bar 22 near the first end of the roller body 10 to float, thereby reducing the radial pressure exerted by the first section 2211 of the support bar 22 on the roller body 10.

[0104] The first end of the roller 10 is connected to the transmission mechanism 500 for transmission. This means that the first end of the roller 10 receives power. A significant radial compression on the first end of the roller 10 could affect the stability of the roller's rotation. In this example, the first section 2211 of the support bar 22 is relatively thin, minimizing radial compression on the roller 10 and thereby improving the stability of the roller's rotation.

[0105] The length of the second section 2212 can be greater than that of the first section 2211 , so that most of the first mounting portion 221 can fit more firmly with the first T-slot 10 a , thereby improving the installation stability of the support bar 22 .

[0106] The first mounting portion 221 may further include a stopper 225 connected to the end of the second section 2212 away from the first section 2211. The stopper 225 is at least partially located outside the first T-slot 10a. The stopper 225 cooperates with the roller body 10 to prevent the first mounting portion 221 from sliding along the first T-slot 10a.

[0107] As shown in FIG. 9 , at least one side of the support portion 222 is covered with a flexible cloth 224 , and an edge of the flexible cloth 224 away from the first mounting portion 221 extends beyond an edge of the support portion 222 away from the first mounting portion 221 .

[0108] In this example, the flexible cloth 224 covers one side of the support portion 222 and a portion of the surface of the first mounting portion 221. For example, the side of the support bar 22 located in front of the brush bar 21 and away from the brush bar 21 is covered with the flexible cloth 224, and the side of the support bar 22 located behind the brush bar 21 and close to the brush bar 21 is covered with the flexible cloth 224.

[0109] The flexible cloth 224 covers at least one side of the support portion 222 , thereby protecting the support bar 22 and reducing wear on the support portion 222 .

[0110] As an example, the width of the edge of the flexible cloth 224 away from the first installation portion 221 beyond the edge of the support portion 222 away from the first installation portion 221 does not exceed 1 mm.

[0111] The edge of the support portion 222 away from the first mounting portion 221 has the function of cleaning debris and removing tufts on surfaces such as carpets. The edge position is more prone to wear. By setting the edge of the flexible cloth 224 slightly beyond the edge of the support portion 222, the protection of the edge of the support portion 222 can be improved and the wear of the edge of the support portion 222 can be reduced.

[0112] For example, the thickness of the flexible cloth 224 may be 0.3 mm to 0.4 mm. The flexible cloth 224 may be nylon cloth or polyester cloth.

[0113] Figure 11 is a cross-sectional schematic diagram of a brush strip provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figure 11, the cross-section of the brush strip 21 may also be T-shaped. The brush strip 21 may include a second mounting portion 211 and bristles 212. The bristles 212 may be distributed on one side of the second mounting portion 211. The density of the distribution of the bristles 212, the hardness of the bristles 212, and the diameter of the bristles 212 may all be selected according to different cleaning effects. For example, the diameter of the bristles 212 may be 0.2 mm. The brush strip 21 may include the same type of bristles 212, or may include a variety of different bristles 212. The same type of bristles 212 refers to bristles 212 made of the same fiber, and different bristles 212 are made of different fibers. The same fiber may refer to the same material and / or the same diameter. Different bristles 212 may refer to different materials and / or different diameters.

[0114] The outer side wall of the roller body 10 may further have a second T-slot 10d, through which the brush strip 21 is connected to the roller body 10. The second mounting portion 211 may be located in the second T-slot 10d, with the bristles 212 extending outside the second T-slot 10d.

[0115] As shown in FIG. 5 , the roller brush 200 further includes a first end cover 31 and a second end cover 32 . The first end cover 31 is connected to the first end of the roller body 10 , and the second end cover 32 is connected to the second end of the roller body 10 .

[0116] The first end cover 31 and the second end cover 32 can be detachably connected to the roller body 10, for example, by snap fastening.

[0117] In the same cleaning assembly 20 , one end of at least one support bar 22 is inserted between the first end cover 31 and the roller body 10 , and the first end cover 31 is used to bend the portion of the support bar 22 between the first end cover 31 and the roller body 10 toward the roller body 10 .

[0118] In this example, at the first end of the roller body 10, after the support portion 222 of the support bar 22 is bent by the first end cap 31, the height of the support bar 22 protruding from the roller body 10 at this position is reduced. This allows the support bar 22 to avoid being struck by the comb teeth and pulled by objects to be cleaned during use. The radial force exerted by the support bar 22 on the first end of the roller body 10 is reduced, which helps improve the rotational stability of the roller body 10. It also protects the end of the support bar 22, reducing wear on the end of the support bar 22.

[0119] Exemplarily, the length of the portion of the support bar 22 located between the first end cover 31 and the roller body 10 is not less than 5 mm.

[0120] In the above embodiment, by making the length of the portion of the support bar 22 located between the first end cover 31 and the roller body 10 not less than 5 mm, the stability of the plug-in connection between the support bar 22 and the first end cover 31 can be increased to ensure that the support bar 22 will not fall off from the first end cover 31.

[0121] Figure 12 is a schematic diagram of the structure of a first end cap provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figure 12, the first end cap 31 includes a mounting plate 311 and a first stopper plate 312. The first stopper plate 312 is connected to one side of the mounting plate 311. As shown in Figure 5 , the mounting plate 311 is positioned opposite the end face of the roller body 10, with a gap between the first stopper plate 312 and the outer sidewall of the roller body 10. At least one support bar 22 is positioned within this gap and abuts against the inner sidewall of the first stopper plate 312.

[0122] In this example, the support bar 22 located in front of the brush bar 21 is located in the gap between the first limiting plate 312 and the outer side wall of the roller body 10 .

[0123] By inserting the end of the support bar 22 into the gap between the first limiting plate 312 and the outer wall of the roller body 10, the support bar 22 is bent toward the roller body 10, thereby reducing the height of the support bar 22 protruding from the roller body 10 at this position. The above embodiment has at least the following beneficial effects: 1. The height of the support bar 22 protruding from the roller body 10 at this position is reduced, which can avoid being struck by the comb teeth and pulled by the objects to be cleaned, thereby protecting the end of the support bar 22 and reducing wear on the end of the support bar 22; 2. The surface of the support bar 22 abuts against the inner wall of the first limiting plate 312, which can ensure that the support bar 22 is not quickly worn by the edge of the first limiting plate 312, thereby ensuring the service life of the roller brush 200.

[0124] As shown in FIG. 12 , the first limiting plate 312 further has a first notch 312 a . At least a portion of the brush strip 21 is located in the first notch 312 a . The first notch 312 a is used to avoid the end of the brush strip 21 .

[0125] The first end cap 31 also includes a plurality of second limiting plates 313, which are connected to the same side of the mounting plate 311 as the first limiting plates 312. The plurality of second limiting plates 313 are spaced apart along the edge of the mounting plate 311, and the second limiting plates 313 are transitionally aligned with the outer wall of the roller body 10, with the first limiting plates 312 positioned between adjacent second limiting plates 313.

[0126] The second stopper plate 313 is used to cooperate with the roller body 10, ensuring a stable installation of the first end cap 31 and the roller body 10. The second stopper plate 313 and the outer wall of the roller body 10 have a transitional fit, meaning that the second stopper plate 313 and the roller body 10 can have either an interference fit or a clearance fit. The interference fit improves stability, making the assembly of the first end cap 31 and the roller body 10 more secure, and reduces the chance of debris, such as hair, becoming lodged between the second stopper plate 313 and the roller body 10. The clearance fit facilitates assembly and disassembly of the first end cap 31 and the roller body 10, making it easier to replace the roller body 10, the support bar 22, or the brush bar 21.

[0127] Exemplarily, the minimum gap between the second limiting plate 313 and the outer side wall of the roller body 10 does not exceed 0.2 mm.

[0128] Fibrous debris such as hair that gets stuck in the gap between the second limiting plate 313 and the outer wall of the roller body 10 will be difficult to clean and may get stuck inside the roller brush 200, which may adversely affect the movement of some moving parts such as bearings. Although the diameter of the hair is very small, the hair that is naturally wrapped around the outside of the roller brush 200 is usually bent and coiled, not in a taut state. These naturally wrapped hairs usually have difficulty passing through gaps larger than the diameter of the hair. The gap is set to no more than 0.2mm to effectively prevent the hair from getting stuck between the second limiting plate 313 and the outer wall of the roller body 10, while avoiding excessive assembly precision, which increases manufacturing costs and assembly difficulty.

[0129] The gap between the second limiting plate 313 and the outer wall of the roller body 10 is set to be relatively small to prevent hair and other debris from being stuck.

[0130] The edge of the second limiting plate 313 has a second notch 313 a , and the end of the supporting rib 11 is located in the second notch 313 a .

[0131] As shown in Figure 12, a transition plate 314 is connected between the first limiting plate 312 and the second limiting plate 313. The transition plate 314 smoothly connects the first limiting plate 312 and the second limiting plate 313. Connecting the first limiting plate 312 and the second limiting plate 313 through the transition plate 314 can improve the structural strength of each and reduce deformation.

[0132] In some examples, in the same cleaning assembly 20 , at least a portion of a support bar 22 is located in the first notch 312 a .

[0133] In this example, the first limiting plate 312 has a first notch 312 a , and the brush bar 21 and the support bar 22 located behind the brush bar 21 are located in the first notch 312 a .

[0134] Referring to the example shown in Figure 5, in this example, at least a portion of the brush strip 21 is located in the first notch 312a of the first limiting plate 312, at least a portion of the support strip 22 located in front of the brush strip 21 is located between the first limiting plate 312 and the outer wall of the roller body 10, and the portion located between the first limiting plate 312 and the outer wall of the roller body 10 is bent toward the direction close to the brush strip 21.

[0135] The first limiting plate 312 bends the support bar 22 located in front of the brush bar 21 toward the brush bar 21, thereby reducing the height of the support bar 22 protruding from the outer surface of the roller body 10 near the first end cap 31. This reduces wear between the support bar 22 and the ground near the end of the roller body 10, prevents the comb teeth 300 from striking the support bar 22, and thus extends the service life of the support bar 22. At least a portion of the other support bar 22 is arranged in the first notch 312a near the end of the roller body 10. After the brush bar 21 completes cleaning, the support bar 22 located in the first notch 312a can contact the surface of the object to be cleaned, sweeping away debris removed by the brush bar 21. This is suitable for applications where cleaning performance is more important.

[0136] In other possible implementations, in the same cleaning assembly 20, the two support bars 22 are at least partially located between the first end cover 31 and the roller body 10, and the portion of one support bar 22 located between the first end cover 31 and the roller body 10 is bent toward the brush bar 21, and the portion of the other support bar 22 located between the first end cover 31 and the roller body 10 is bent toward the brush bar 21.

[0137] Figure 13 is a schematic diagram of the assembly of a first end cap provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figure 13, in this example, the brush strip 21 is located in the first notch 312a of the first limiting plate 312, and the support strips 22 located in front of and behind the brush strip 21 are both located between the first limiting plate 312 and the outer wall of the roller body 10. Specifically, the portion of the support strip 22 located in front of the brush strip 21 between the first limiting plate 312 and the outer wall of the roller body 10 is bent toward the brush strip 21, while the portion of the support strip 22 located behind the brush strip 21 between the first limiting plate 312 and the outer wall of the roller body 10 is bent away from the brush strip 21.

[0138] The two support bars 22 are bent at the first end of the roller body 10 through the first limiting plate 312, so that the height of the two support bars 22 protruding from the roller body 10 at this position is reduced, which is beneficial to further improve the rotation stability of the roller body 10 and reduce the wear of the ends of the two support bars 22. It is suitable for occasions where more attention is paid to extending the service life of the roller brush.

[0139] As shown in FIG. 13 , the outer wall of the second limiting plate 313 is an inclined surface, and the side of the outer wall of the second limiting plate 313 away from the mounting plate 311 is inclined toward the roller body 10 .

[0140] During operation of the cleaning device, the first end of the roller body 10 is more likely to become entangled with hair or other filaments than other parts of the roller body 10. In this example, by tilting the outer wall of the second limiting plate 313 to form an inclined surface, hair or other filaments entangled with the roller brush 200 and the first end cap 31 can be guided to gather at the lowest point of the inclined surface, facilitating centralized processing using the comb teeth 300.

[0141] Figure 14 is a schematic diagram of the structure of a second end cap provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figure 14, the second end cap 32 may have multiple circumferentially distributed ribs 321 on the side adjacent to the roller body 10. The ribs 321 may transitionally fit with the outer sidewall of the roller body 10.

[0142] FIG15 is a schematic diagram of a partial structure of a roller brush provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in FIG15 , the gap-blocking ribs 321 conform to the shape of the outer wall of the roller body 10 and transitionally fit with the outer wall of the roller body 10. For example, the gap-blocking ribs 321 are used to block the gap between the roller body 10 and the second end cap 32 to prevent hair from getting stuck.

[0143] Figure 16 is a schematic diagram of a partial structure of a cleaning device provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in Figure 16, the comb bar 300 includes a plurality of first comb teeth 301 and a plurality of second comb teeth 302, which are spaced apart and arranged parallel to the axis of the roller body 10. The first comb teeth 301 are located at the first end of the roller body 10, and are longer than the second comb teeth 302.

[0144] The comb teeth 300 are used to cooperate with the cleaning component 20 to clean the debris on the cleaning component 20 and separate the debris from the cleaning component 20. In this example, the inclined outer wall of the second limit plate 313 plays the role of collecting filaments such as hair. By setting the first comb teeth 301 with a longer length, the first comb teeth 301 can clean the hair collected here. During the rotation of the roller brush 200, the first comb teeth 301 contact and pull the collected hair, causing the hair to break and detach from the roller brush 200, and finally be sucked into the air intake 100b, thereby preventing the hair from being excessively entangled on the roller brush 200. When some hair is difficult to be completely separated from the first end cover 31, the first end cover 31 and the roller body 10 can also be disassembled to clean the hair.

[0145] During the rotation of the roller brush 200, the second comb teeth 302 and the support bar 22 hit each other, thereby removing debris attached to the support bar 22. In this example, the interference between the comb teeth 300 and the support bar 22 is 1mm to 3.5mm, for example, 2.5mm.

[0146] The interference fit between the comb teeth 300 and the support bar 22 refers to the length of the portion of the comb teeth 300 that contacts the support bar 22 during the rotation of the roller brush 200, that is, the tip of the comb teeth 300, a portion with a length of 1mm to 3.5mm that can contact the support bar 22.

[0147] The support bar 22 will vibrate after being hit by the comb teeth 300, thereby generating noise. In this example, only a small part of the second comb teeth 302 hits the support bar 22. While ensuring the effect of preventing hair entanglement, the range of the support bar 22 that is hit is relatively small, thereby reducing the vibration of the support bar 22, which is beneficial to reducing the noise generated when the cleaning device is working.

[0148] In addition, since the distance between the outer edge of the brush strip 21 and the outer edge of the support strip 22 is small, not exceeding 15 mm, during the shaking process of the support strip 22, it may come into contact with the bristles 212 of the brush strip 21. The bristles 212 can absorb part of the energy of the support strip 22, thereby slowing down the vibration of the support strip 22. The support strip 22 can return to its original state more quickly, which is conducive to eliminating noise.

[0149] The interference between the comb teeth 300 and the brush strip 21 can be 1 mm to 6 mm, for example, 3.5 mm. The comb teeth 300 and the brush strip 21 interact with each other to clean out debris stuck on the brush strip 21, thereby improving cleaning efficiency.

[0150] When the cleaning device is in use, the opening of the roller brush mounting groove 100a faces the object to be cleaned. For example, when cleaning a carpet, as shown in FIG3 , the comb teeth 300 can be located between the roller brush 200 and the air inlet 100b. The distance between the comb teeth 300 and the opening of the roller brush mounting groove 100a is greater than the distance between the axis of the roller body 10 and the opening of the roller brush mounting groove 100a. In other words, the comb teeth 300 are arranged at a height higher than the axis of the roller body 10.

[0151] In some examples, the height of the portion of the support bar 22 extending from the opening of the roller brush mounting slot 100a does not exceed 0.5 mm. That is, during use, the interference between the support bar 22 and the ground does not exceed 0.5 mm, and can be, for example, 0.1 mm. This prevents excessive deformation of the support bar 22 and the resulting excessive radial force on the roller body 10. The height of the portion of the brush strip 21 extending from the opening of the roller brush mounting slot 100a does not exceed 3 mm, and can be, for example, 1 mm. This prevents the bristles 212 of the brush strip 21 from excessive bending, which could affect its service life.

[0152] In some examples, the rotational speed of the roller brush 200 in the cleaning device may not exceed 2000 rpm during operation. In related art, to achieve effective cleaning, the roller brush typically rotates at a speed of 2400 rpm or higher, resulting in high noise levels and a short lifespan. In this example, because the roller brush 200 has a relatively high cleaning efficiency, reducing its rotational speed can reduce noise levels while maintaining effective cleaning results. This can also extend the lifespan of the support bar 22, thereby extending the service life of the roller brush 200.
