Abstract
Description
Vehicle-mounted drone takeoff and landing device
[0001] The present invention relates to a vehicle drone take-off and landing device, and more particularly, to a vehicle drone take-off and landing device that is installed on the roof of a vehicle and enables storage and take-off and landing of a drone.
[0002]
[0003] Drones are typically carried in a dedicated case or carried inside a vehicle without one. Therefore, upon arriving at the drone's intended location, taking it out of the vehicle, placing it on a flat surface, and then taking off requires a cumbersome preparation process. This hassle is compounded by the size and weight of the drone.
[0004] To solve these problems, a technology has been developed that allows a vehicle to be equipped with a dedicated drone landing gear, enabling the drone to take off immediately while stored on the landing gear without having to manually load or unload the drone, and to land and store it on the landing gear after the flight.
[0005] However, the conventional vehicle drone takeoff and landing device as described above is suitable for the takeoff and landing of large drones, and has a structure in which a loading box that occupies the entire rear space of the vehicle and a double-door hatch is installed on the ceiling of the loading box, which not only significantly reduces the vehicle's passenger space but also causes excessive manufacturing costs.
[0006] Furthermore, conventional vehicle-mounted drone landing gear features a double-door hatch that opens in both directions from the top of the cargo area. This means the minimum space required to open the hatch is excessive, making it impossible to open the hatch if there are obstacles on the top or sides of the vehicle. Furthermore, if the hatch cannot be opened, the drone cannot take off from above the landing gear.
[0007] The prior art is technical information that the inventor possessed for the purpose of deriving the present invention or acquired in the process of deriving the present invention, and cannot necessarily be said to be publicly known technology disclosed to the general public prior to the application for the present invention.

[0017] In addition, the cover is configured such that a second opening and a third opening are formed in the body, and the first opening, the second opening, and the third opening are arranged at the same position in the vertical direction according to the rotational position of the cover so that the first opening can be opened to the outside of the cover in an open state, or the second opening and the third opening can both be moved to a position adjacent to the upper surface of the base box so that the first opening can be covered by the cover in a closed state.
[0018] Meanwhile, the cover is installed with linear reinforcing members inserted in the width direction, and the reinforcing members can be installed in multiple numbers at a certain interval across the entire circumference of the cover in the front-back direction.
[0019] A vehicle drone take-off and landing device according to an embodiment of the present invention further includes a landing section that is provided to be accessible through a front opening of the base box, and the landing section may include a moving plate that moves in a straight line in a forward and backward direction along guide rails installed at both inner corners of the base box, and a front door that is installed upright at a front end of the moving plate and opens and closes the front opening.
[0020] In this case, the vehicle drone take-off and landing device according to an embodiment of the present invention may further include: a second drive motor installed on one side of the inside of the base box; a rack gear installed long in the front-rear direction at one end of the moving plate; a second drive gear installed on the rotational axis of the second drive motor and meshed with the rack gear; and a second switch installed on one side of the base box to input operation control of the second drive motor.
[0021] At this time, the base box has a battery pack installed in the rear part of the inner space, and the battery pack can be connected to the first drive motor and the second drive motor to supply power.
[0022]

[0058]
[0059] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 7, a vehicle drone takeoff and landing device (100) according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a base box (10), a side plate (20), a cover (30), a landing portion (40), and a driving motor (50, 60).
[0060] A vehicle drone take-off and landing device (100) according to an embodiment of the present invention is installed and used on the upper surface of the roof of a vehicle (1) as shown in Fig. 1. In Fig. 2, the front (Fr) and rear (Rr) of the vehicle drone take-off and landing device (100) are indicated, which coincide with the front and rear of the vehicle.
[0061] The above vehicle drone take-off and landing device (100) may be directly installed (e.g., bolted) on the upper surface of the roof of the vehicle (1), or may be installed on a carrier (2) installed on the upper surface of the roof, as in the illustrated example. The vehicle on which the vehicle drone take-off and landing device (100) is installed is a generally widely used vehicle type such as a sedan, SUV, or van, and unlike in the past, there is no need to install a separate loading box in the rear space of the vehicle.
[0062] The above base box (10) is installed on the roof of the vehicle (1), a drone (D) is stored inside, and a first opening (11) is formed on one side of the upper surface through which the drone (D) can enter and exit.
[0063] More specifically, the base box (10) occupies the entire lower area of the vehicle drone landing device (100) and is a part that forms the basic body, and as described above, is fixedly installed directly on the upper surface of the roof of the vehicle (1) or via the carrier (2).
[0064] The above base box (10) is a rectangular parallelepiped shape with a relatively low height compared to its area, and has an empty interior. The base box (10) has a first opening (11) in a rectangular shape formed in the front upper portion. The drone (D) can enter or exit the base box (10) through the first opening (11).
[0065] The above base box (10) has the landing part (40) installed on the lower side of the first opening (11). The landing part (40) will be described in detail later.
[0066] A rear door (13) is installed in the rear opening of the base box (10) so as to be rotatable and openable via a hinge shaft (13a). In this case, a locking mechanism such as a toggle clamp may be installed between the side of the base box (10) and the rear door (13) so as to maintain the closed state of the rear door (13).
[0067] The above base box (10) has a battery pack (80) installed in the rear portion of the inner space. The battery pack (80) can be installed by inserting it into the inside of the base box (10) while the rear door (13) is open, or can be pulled out to the outside. The battery pack (80) is connected to a power supply circuit provided inside the base box (10) in the installed state to supply power to the drive motors (50, 60). That is, the battery pack (80) is configured to be connected to the first drive motor (50) and the second drive motor (60) to supply power.
[0068] The above side plate (20) is configured to be installed upright on both ends of the upper surface of the base box (10).
[0069] More specifically, the side plates (20) are provided as a pair of left and right triangular flat plates in which the slope angle of the front hypotenuse is smaller than the slope angle of the rear hypotenuse, and are installed upright at both ends of the upper surface of the base box (10).
[0070] On the inner surface of one of the side plates (20) on both sides, an idle gear (21) is rotatably installed at each of the three vertices adjacent to each other. The idle gear (21) is configured to be hooked onto a toothed belt (31) provided on the cover (30).
[0071] In addition, the side plate (20) has the first drive motor (50), which is one of the drive motors (50, 60), fixed to one side of the inner surface thereof using a bracket (not shown) or the like. In the assembled state of the vehicle drone take-off and landing device (100), the first drive motor (50) is positioned in the inner space of the cover (30), and the first drive gear (51) installed on the rotational axis of the first drive motor (50) is caught on one side of the toothed belt (31). The idle gear (21) supports one end of the cover. Here, it goes without saying that the gears (the idle gear (21), the first drive gear (51)) and the toothed belt (31) can be replaced with a sprocket and a chain, respectively.
[0072] Meanwhile, on the inner surface of the other side plate (20) among the side plates (20) on both sides, a simple disk-shaped idle wheel may be installed at a position corresponding to the installation position of the idle gear (21) to support the other end circumference of the cover (30). Alternatively, a guide groove may be formed on the inner surface of the other side plate (20) among the side plates (20) on both sides, into which a predetermined amount of the other end circumference of the cover (30) is inserted and supported, or a guide rail may be installed. In any case, the component that performs the support function and is installed on the inner surface of the other side plate (20) among the side plates (20) on both sides enables the rotation operation of the cover (30) and the maintenance of the installation shape to be stably performed when the cover (30) is rotated by the first drive motor (50).
[0073] The above cover (30) is configured to be rotatably installed between the side plates (20) on both sides and to open and close the first opening (11). That is, the cover (30) is configured to be rotatably installed between the side plates (20) on both sides and to selectively open and close the first opening (11) of the base box (10) as needed.
[0074] The cover (30) is supported on both sides by the side plates (20), more specifically, by the rotational support means such as the idle gear (21), the idle wheel, the guide groove, and the guide rail provided on the inner surface of the side plate (20), so that the cover can be rotated while maintaining the same side shape (triangular shape) as the side plate (20).
[0075] In particular, since the cover (30) is formed with a gentle slope in the front by the idle gear (21) installed at the top of the inner upper side and the front lower side of the side plate (20), it is possible to reduce the increase in air resistance caused by the vehicle drone take-off and landing device (100) while the vehicle (1) is running.
[0076] In summary, the cover (30) is provided with the toothed belt (31) at one end, and the toothed belt (31) is hung on the idle gear (21) installed at the three corners of the inner surface of one side plate (20) among the side plates (20) on both sides, and the first drive motor (50) is fixedly installed on one side plate (20) among the side plates (20) on both sides via a bracket, and the first drive gear (51) provided on the rotational axis of the first drive motor (50) is engaged with the toothed belt (31).
[0077] The cover (30) may be made of a synthetic fiber-woven fabric or synthetic resin fabric with excellent waterproof and durability, and may be configured to withstand wind pressure generated during driving by inserting and installing linear reinforcing materials (34), such as thick wires or thin rods, in the left and right directions inside the fabric (or fabric). In Fig. 5, the reinforcing materials (34) are shown only in a portion of the upper part of the cover (30), but a plurality of reinforcing materials (34) may be installed at regular intervals over the entire circumference of the cover (30).
[0078] That is, the cover (30) is installed with the linear reinforcing material (34) inserted in the width direction, and the reinforcing material (34) can be installed in multiple numbers at a certain interval over the entire circumference of the cover (30) in the front-back direction.
[0079] Meanwhile, the cover (30) is formed with a second opening (32) and a third opening (33) in the body. More specifically, the cover (30) is formed with the second opening (32) and the third opening (33) each having a rectangular shape at a predetermined interval along the front-rear direction. The second opening (32) and the third opening (33) have almost the same shape and size as the first opening (11) of the base box (10).
[0080] The second opening (32) and the third opening (33) may be positioned above the first opening (11) as shown in FIG. 5, depending on the rotational state of the cover (30), or may be positioned close to the upper surface of the base box (10) as shown in FIG. 6 so as not to be exposed when viewed from above.
[0081] FIG. 5 illustrates a state in which the first opening (11), the second opening (32), and the third opening (33) are all connected in the vertical direction and the cover (30) is open, so that the drone (D) can take off from the inside of the base box (10) to the outside through the vertical space formed by the first opening (11), the second opening (32), and the third opening (33), or land from the outside into the inside of the base box (10).
[0082] FIG. 6 shows a cover closed state in which the upper part of the first opening (11) is blocked by the outer part of the cover (30) (the part that forms the outer appearance as a part far from the upper surface of the base box (10), so that the drone (D) cannot take off or land, and the drone (D) can be stored inside the base box (10).
[0083] In summary, the cover (30) is configured such that the second opening (32) and the third opening (33) are formed in the body, and the first opening (11), the second opening (32), and the third opening (33) are arranged at the same position in the vertical direction depending on the rotational position of the cover (30) so that the first opening (11) is opened to the outside of the cover (30) to implement an open state, or the second opening (32) and the third opening (33) are both moved to a position adjacent to the upper surface of the base box (10) to implement a closed state in which the first opening (11) is covered by the cover (30).
[0084] The above landing part (40) includes a rectangular flat moving plate (41) and a front door (42) installed in an upright state at the front end of the moving plate (41).
[0085] The above moving plate (41) is inserted into the guide rail (14) installed at both corners inside the base box (10) and is installed so as to be able to move forward and backward.
[0086] When the landing section (40) is fully inserted into the base box (10), the moving plate (41) is positioned at the lower portion of the first opening (11). The drone (D) lands on the upper surface of the moving plate (41) and is stored therein or takes off from there.
[0087] Although not shown, the moving plate (41) may be equipped with a restraint device on one side to hold and fix the leg portion of the drone (D). The restraint device is a restraint mechanism that holds and fixes the leg portion of the drone (D) by operating a fixing arm by an electric and hydraulic actuator, and can be easily designed in various structures, so a detailed description thereof will be omitted.
[0088] In addition, when the landing portion (40) is completely inserted into the base box (10), the front door (42) completely blocks the front opening (12) of the base box (10). Therefore, when the vehicle (1) is driven while the drone (D) is stored inside the base box (10), the front door (42) can block the inflow of wind, rainwater, and foreign substances, thereby protecting the drone (D), the battery pack (80), and the power supply circuit therefrom.
[0089] In summary, the landing section (40) is provided so as to be accessible through the front opening (12) of the base box (10). The landing section (40) is provided with the moving plate (41) that moves in a straight line in the front-back direction along the guide rail (14) installed at the inner corners on both sides of the base box (10), and the front door (42) that is installed upright at the front end of the moving plate (41) and opens and closes the front opening (12).
[0090] The above driving motor (50, 60) includes the first driving motor (50) for driving the cover (30) and the second driving motor (60) for driving the landing part (40).
[0091] The above first driving motor (50) is mounted on one of the side plates (20) on both sides and is configured to rotate the cover (30).
[0092] As described above, the first drive motor (50) is fixedly installed on one side of the inner surface of the side plate (20) via a bracket (not shown) or the like. In the assembled state of the vehicle drone take-off and landing device (100), the first drive gear (51) installed on the rotation axis of the first drive motor (50) is engaged with the tooth belt (31) installed along the inner circumference of one end of the cover (30).
[0093] The first drive motor (50) is connected to the battery pack (80) and is supplied with power. The first switch (71) for controlling the operation of the first drive motor (50) is installed on one side of the outer surface of the base box (10). Therefore, the user can control the operation, stop, and rotation direction of the first drive motor (50) by operating the first switch (71). That is, the first switch (71) is installed on one side of the base box (10) and is configured to input operation control of the first drive motor (50).
[0094] Accordingly, the user can control the rotational position of the cover (30) by operating the first switch (71), thereby forming an open state (state of FIG. 5) in which the first opening (11), the second opening (32), and the third opening (33) are all positioned vertically so as to be in communication, or a closed state (state of FIG. 6) in which the second opening (32) and the third opening (33) are both covered by the outer part of the cover (30).
[0095] In this case, in the open state, the user can operate the drone (D) stored inside the base box (10) to take off through the openings (11, 32, 33) whose positions are aligned in an upward direction. In the closed state, the user can drive the vehicle (1) while the drone (D) is stably stored inside the base box (10).
[0096] The open state of the cover (30) as described above is used to take off and land the drone (D) when there is no obstacle adjacent to the upper part of the vehicle (1).
[0097] The second drive motor (60) is installed on one side of the inside of the base box (10). The second drive motor (60) is fixedly installed on one side of the inside of the base box (10), and the second drive gear (61) is installed on the rotation shaft of the second drive motor (60).
[0098] In response to this, the moving plate (41) of the landing section (40) has a rack gear (43) installed in the front-back direction on one side. That is, the rack gear (43) is installed long in the front-back direction on one end of the moving plate (41).
[0099] The above rack gear (43) and the second drive gear (61) are meshed with each other. That is, the second drive gear (61) is installed on the rotation shaft of the second drive motor and meshes with the rack gear (43). By this meshing structure, the moving plate (41) can be withdrawn from the base box (10).
[0100] The second drive motor (60) is connected to the battery pack (80) and is supplied with power. A second switch (72) for controlling the operation of the second drive motor (60) is installed on one side of the outer surface of the base box (10) (adjacent to the first switch (71). Therefore, a user can control the operation, stop, and rotation direction of the second drive motor (60) by operating the second switch (72).
[0101] Accordingly, the user can operate the second switch (72) to bring the landing section (40) into the interior of the base box (10) to maintain the storage state of the drone (D), or can form a state in which the landing section (40) can be protruded (unfolded) to the exterior of the base box (10) to take off or land the drone (D). That is, the second switch (72) is configured to be installed on one side of the base box (10) and input the operation control of the second drive motor (50).
[0102] The above-described deployment state of the landing section (40) can be used to take off and land the drone (D) when there is an obstacle adjacent to the upper portion of the vehicle (1).
[0103]
[0104] When using the vehicle drone take-off and landing device (100), the drone (D) is stored inside the base box (10) when the vehicle (1) is moving. Therefore, unlike conventional technologies, the vehicle drone take-off and landing device (100) does not require the interior space of the vehicle (1) to be used for storing the drone (D), so there is no problem of a reduction in the boarding space.
[0105] In addition, when the user wants to take off the drone (D) when the vehicle (1) arrives at the destination, the user can operate the first switch (71) to open the cover (30) or operate the second switch (72) to protrude the landing portion (40) and then take off the drone (D). Therefore, unlike the conventional technology, the need to take the drone (D) out of the interior of the vehicle (1) and place it on a flat surface is eliminated. This advantage remains the same even after the drone (D) lands, making the use and storage of the drone (D) much easier.
[0106] In addition, the vehicle drone take-off and landing device (100) is smaller than a conventional cargo-type take-off and landing device and can be easily mounted on the roof of a vehicle, making it more suitable for medium-sized and small-sized drones and having the advantage of reducing manufacturing and installation costs.
[0107] In addition, since the vehicle drone take-off and landing device (100) opens or closes the take-off and landing passage by rotation while the cover (30) maintains its installation shape, there is no opening part (hatch) that operates in the outward direction of the vehicle drone take-off and landing device (100) when the cover (30) is opened, so there is an advantage in that it is easy to use in narrower spaces.
[0108]
[0109] As described above, the vehicle drone takeoff and landing device according to the present invention is manufactured in a size and structure that can be additionally installed on the upper surface of the vehicle's roof, so that it does not encroach on the vehicle's passenger space, and the manufacturing cost is greatly reduced. In addition, since it does not require additional space when opened, it enables the drone to easily take off and land even in narrow spaces.
[0110]
[0111] As described above, the present invention has been described with reference to the embodiments illustrated in the drawings. However, these are merely exemplary, and it should be understood that various modifications and equivalent alternative embodiments are possible based on common knowledge in the art. Therefore, the true technical protection scope of the present invention is determined by the claims set forth below and based on the specific contents of the invention described above.
