Description

[0001] A Hybrid Hoop-Generator Mechanism for Sustainable Electricity Generation

[0002] DESCRIPTION

[0003] Field of the Invention

[0004] The present invention relates to the field of Electricity generation. This invention discloses a novel hybrid method and system for generating clean, renewable and sustainable electricity, AC or DC, by means of a hoop-generation mechanism.

[0005] More particularly, the present invention primarily functions by means of an external energy source, "combined" with a secondary energy sourced harnessed from the natural forces of nature, particularly gravity. The amalgamation of both these distinctly different sources of energies is amply reflected in the present system's overall enhanced performance and efficiency.

[0006] Background of the Invention

[0007] Today, we are all aware of our dependence on electricity for living, the rate at which our natural resources are depleting, the consequences of generating electricity by the existing methods, and the capacity of our renewable energy generation systems to meet the ever-growing demand for electricity.

[0008] On the one hand, we have developed electrical devices that can function with an efficiency of up to 95%, like the axial flux motors and generator, which implies that we are left with only 4% scope for further improvisation, as per the limitations set by laws of Energy Conservation and Thermodynamics, which are both integral to the subject matter of the present invention.

[0009] On the other hand, when numerous challenges were considered "unattainable and impossible" by the established fundamental laws of nature, human ingenuity managed to transform them into "attainable and achievable" objectives through clever utilization of various other scientific principles, e.g., steel, by itself, cannot float over water due to differential densities. However, by strategically balancing surface area, gravity, buoyancy, and water pressure with a hull-like design, we can see the creation of ships made of steel, weighing thousands of tons, floating over water, while also obeying the fundamental laws of nature.

[0010] In the same way, It is contemplated that a novel "hybrid" system for generating sustainable electricity may be developed, comprising an external energy source, combined with a secondary energy source harnessed from the forces of nature, specifically gravity.

[0011] The system disclosed in the chapters to follow enables the conversion of natural forces into usable energy, which can be synergistically integrated with the primary external energy external source, thereby creating a combined effect that is both efficient and environmentally friendly, while remaining compliant with the fundamental principles of physics and the laws of nature.

[0012] Prior Art:

[0013] Numerous inventors have endeavoured to introduce novel systems and techniques for producing electricity, aiming to achieve higher levels of efficiency, particularly in the realm of renewable and sustainable energy sources. Nevertheless, in the upcoming sections, we will distinguish the "present invention" from the most similar "Prior Art" described by previous inventors, considering their physical resemblance, operational concepts, approaches, and objectives.

[0014] There was no similar prior art found specifically pertaining to the subject matter of the present invention. Nevertheless, we have identified certain pertinent patents, publications, or other publicly available information that exhibit some similarities in the configuration, appearance and / or conceptual approach, which are presented below as follows:

[0015] 1) KR20160092529A published on August 5, 2016, relates to the most recent and closest prior art. This document describes an 'Electric power system for harnessing the kinetic energy from a train's wheel by incorporates a planetary gearbox type of mechanism designed to recover the kinetic energy from a moving train's wheels to charge batteries and plough back the energy into the system.

[0016] Drawbacks of KR20160092529A: a) Energy is required to drive any system. Hence, if the publication KR20160092529A suggests a configuration to recover the kinetic energy from the train's rotating wheels to charge the batteries, the recovery process will impede the rotational motions of the train's wheels; b) The system described in publication KR20160092529A can work only if the system attains a perpetual motion; and c) However, if the goal is to recover all the energy that could be possibly wasted during deceleration, braking, etc. to be ploughed back into the system, then such systems already exist and are commonly used in hybrid electric vehicles.

[0017] 2) US2014203568A1 refers to a "gravity power generator system" (1), wherein: a) A hoop (2) of a substantial diameter rotates about its axis (21) by means of an electric motor (3). Pluralities of power-generating devices (4) are circumferentially installed on the hoop (2) at an equal distance from one another; b) A straight connecting rod (511) freely passes through the side bore of the generator's shaft (42) to connect the ends of a semi-circular rod / plate (512); and c) A round ball-like object of the desired mass (52) is placed inside the concave curvature of the semi-circular rod / plate , such that when the hoop (2) rotates, the ball-like mass (52) will roll under the influence of gravity, from one end of the arc to another, thereby causing the shaft (42) to rotate and generate electricity.

[0018] Drawbacks of US2014203568A1 :

[0019] When a ball-like round object with a mass (52) is placed inside the concave curvature of the semi-circular assembly (512), the centrifugal force generated by the rotating hoop (2) will tangentially push the ball-like object (52) in a direction away from the centre of the axis, where it will remain stationary with reference to its position with the rotating ring (2), and thereby doing no work on the generator to generate electricity.

[0020] 3). TW201307681 A relates to a "gravity power generation", is an overbalanced wheel system that relies on the distribution of mass for rotation, wherein the force of gravity pulls the heaviest side of the wheel in a downward direction. However, any mass of any shape will always have a centre of gravity. Hence, the forces of gravity and friction will eventually bring any rotating body to rest at a point of equilibrium, where all the forces in play are balanced. Besides, overbalanced systems do not function perpetually without some external energy source continuously influencing them.

[0030] Summary of the invention

[0031] The present invention, entitled "A Hybrid Hoop-Generator Mechanism for Sustainable Electricity Generation," discloses a novel method for generating electricity in an environmentally conscious manner, utilizing a diverse array of external energy sources to provide motion to the system, including but not limited to battery banks, solar energy, wind energy, biogas, mini and micro hydropower, geothermal energy, wave energy, and similar sources. Of particular significance, the present system is engineered to capitalize on a secondary energy source derived from the gravitational potential energy generated by the operation of the system itself, which is facilitated by the integration of an external energy source. Consequently, as the designation 'hybrid' implies, the present system operates by harmoniously combining the distinct energy sources through a synergistic interaction, thereby achieving the desired outcomes of the present invention.

[0032] To facilitate a comprehensive understanding of the present invention, the salient features of the system are initially presented in the sequence of their assembly, as the specific configuration of these components ultimately determines the system's performance and outcome. Accordingly, the configuration of the system, including the various components and their interconnections, is hereby summarised, as follows.

[0033] The invention comprises a rigid framework specifically designed to integrate and enclose all component parts of the system, comprising strategically placed apertures, wire conduits, and damping elements, which are purposefully arranged to ensure the system's overall stability and facilitate seamless integration with the Hoop Assembly.

[0034] The Hoop Assembly comprises at least two symmetrical and dynamically balanced circular hoops of substantially large diameter, characterized by a specified width and thickness. Each hoop's central hub is circumferentially connected to the hoop by radially arranged spokes of equal length, forming a radial pattern. The hoops are further assembled in a circumferential configuration at the desired radial distance by connecting rods, which secure the hoops together. Both ends of the hoops are integrated with a horizontal connecting shaft featuring stepped sections, designed to ensure synchronized rotation. The horizontal plane of the hoops' concave curvature, characterized by a toothed gear pattern, serves as a traction pathway for the wheels of the generator to traverse the endless pathway. Each end of the shaft integral to the hoops is fitted with pillow block bearings, which are mounted on each end of the shaft to complete the Hoop Assembly. The Hoop Assembly is mounted on the rigid frame in a vertical orientation, allowing the horizontal shaft to rotate freely about its designated X-axis.

[0035] The Guide Arm Assembly, a subsequent component in the sequence of assemblies, comprises at least two symmetrical vertical connecting rods of specified length, each equipped with pillow block bearings at both ends. The upper pillow block bearings are mounted on their designated step of the horizontal connecting shaft integral to the Hoop Assembly, while the lower pillow block bearings are mounted on their designated step on the pivotally extended shaft of the Generator, on each side, without obstructing the rotational motion of the shafts integral to both the Hoop and

[0036] The generator, a subsequent component following the Guide Arm Assembly, is dynamically balanced and possesses a substantially smaller diameter than the hoops. The generator, as embodied in the present invention, generates electricity by rotating its stator coils around a stationary rotor. To achieve this functionality, the generator is pivotally integrated with axially extending shafts of equal length and diameter on each side, featuring steps designated to accommodate the lower ends of the guide arms. The wheels, characterized by a toothed gear pattern, are configured to traverse the endless pathway of the hoop assembly without slipping or sliding. In this configuration, the wheels, the axially extending shafts, and the outer shell of the generator housing the stator coils establish a fixed rotational relationship amongst themselves. Notably, the axially extending shaft on the rotor shaft side is a through-bore shaft, permitting the rotor shaft to coaxially pass through it to be introduced into a locking block that immobilizes the rotor shaft, thereby ensuring the rotor's stationary position.

[0037] Operation of the present system is initiated by introducing an external energy source and controllers programmed to maintain a predetermined rotational velocity, notwithstanding varying load conditions, within the peak load capacity of the generator. Following this initiation, the rotational motion of the hoop assembly is transmitted to the generator via the contact points where the toothed gear pattern of the generator's wheels intermesh with the endless traction pathway of the hoops. This arrangement enables the achievement of the rated rotational speed required to generate standardized electricity, specifically at frequencies of 50 Hz or 60 Hz, as exemplified by the International Electro-technical Commission (IEC) standard.

[0038] Upon initiation of the desired motion of the hoops, the generator is initially elevated within the concave curvature of the hoops, wherein the generator's centre of gravity is sufficiently shifted towards the lower end of the curvature, thereby inducing a torque in the generator's axis of rotation to initiate a tipping motion. This tipping motion is subsequently converted into a continuous rolling motion at the recommended rotational speed (RPM), synchronously with the angular velocity of the hoops.

[0039] When a load is introduced to the generator, it initially experiences a torque deficit, resulting in a state of under-excitation. This leads to an increase in the internal resistance of the generator, thereby impeding its angular velocity. Consequently, a relative motion develops between the generator and the hoop assemblies, with the generator lagging in rotational speed. This situation triggers the following sequential reactions, which occur simultaneously:

[0040] (a) The generator's resistive motion is transmitted to the hoop assembly via their intermeshed contact point, conveying the departure from the pre- established rotational velocity designated for the hoops. This action triggers the speed controller to solicit additional energy from the external energy source to reinstate the predetermined rotational velocity of the hoops, thereby increasing the hoop's vertical frictional force and torque along its curved surface. This causes the generator to ascend to a higher location within the concave curvature, in the direction towards the hoops' rotation, accompanied by an enhancement of rotational speed and torque, thereby conserving the system's angular momentum;

[0041] (b) Concurrently, as the generator ascends to a higher position within the concave curvature, it accumulates greater gravitational potential energy and experiences an increase in gravitational force due to the steeper angle of elevation encountered during its ascent; and

[0042] (c) Consequently, for any given load, the generator arrives at an "equilibrium point" within the concave curvature, wherein the hoop's frictional force, acting in a direction perpendicular to the curved surface, is precisely balanced by the opposing gravitational force, acting downwards upon the generator, thereby causing the generator to maintain a neutral position within the concave curvature and remain stationary at that precise location, while simultaneously fulfilling its purpose of satisfying the demand for torque imposed by the load by utilizing input energies from two distinct sources of energy. Additionally, equilibrium is maintained between the centripetal force applied by the rotating hoops and the centrifugal force exerted by the generator during their interaction. This equilibrium ensures the stability of the generator as it rotates within the trajectory of the hoops.

[0043] Concomitantly, when the load imposed on the generator is diminished, it initially experiences a torque surplus and enters a state of over-excitation, resulting in a decrease in its internal resistance coefficient. This reduction in internal resistance coefficient leads to an augmentation of the rotational velocity of the hoops. The speed controller detects this change and subsequently adjusts the energy supply from the external energy source to restore the hoops to their predetermined rotational velocity. In this scenario, the generator descends to a new position within the concave curvature under the influence of gravity, arriving at a new lower location where the hoop's frictional force, acting in a direction perpendicular to the curved surface, and the gravitational force, acting downwards upon the generator, re-establish a new equilibrium corresponding to the reduced load, thereby maintaining a stable operating condition. However, when the generator ascends beyond the 90° (horizontal) angular orientation, it encounters a diminution of its gravitational potential energy due to the cosine of the angle assuming a negative value beyond this critical point. To mitigate this phenomenon, the generator assembly is engineered to prevent ascent of the generator assembly beyond 90° (horizontal) from its initial quiescent position at the lowest point of the concave curvature of the hoops. Consequently, the generator assembly is precisely designed and configured to capture and convert the desired gravitational potential energy into torque (Nm) commensurate with its rated power capacity (kW) and recommended rotational speed (RPM), in conjunction with the external energy source.

Notwithstanding such modifications, it is essential that they do not alter the fundamental operating principles or the intended function of the system as described and claimed herein. Two specific embodiments exemplifying these adaptations are elucidated in the subsequent specifications, which detail the specific configurations and arrangements of the system's components and features.

[0073] The existing system (100), comprises a plurality of interconnected mechanical components, specifically arranged in a predetermined sequence to facilitate the transformation of input energy into output energy. Consequently, in order to thoroughly comprehend the operational principles of the existing system, it is imperative to initially describe the sequential arrangement of the system, encompassing the entirety of the pathway from input to output. Hence we shall begin with the configuration of the system (100), before describing how it works.

[0074] CONFIGURATION:

[0075] 1. First in the sequence of the system (100) is a rigid framework (2) specifically comprising of strategically placed apertures, wire conduits, and damping elements, to accommodate, integrate and enclose all component members of the input energy apparatus (1) , the Hoop Assembly (5), the Guide Arm Assembly (6), the Generator Assembly and the Rotor Shaft Locking Assembly (8) and enclose all component parts of the system, comprising strategically placed apertures, wire conduits, and damping elements, which are purposefully arranged to ensure the system's overall stability and facilitate seamless integration with the Hoop Assembly.

[0076] 2. The second component of the system (100) is the Input Energy Apparatus, as depicted in Figure 1, which is configured to provide energy to the system (100) from an external energy source. The Input Energy Apparatus is designed to induce the precise rotational motion of the hoop assembly (5) by transmitting the energy through an automated speed control apparatus (2), a motor (21), and a gearbox (22), thereby enabling the system (100) to operate in a controlled and predetermined manner.

[0077] The automated speed control apparatus (2) is pre-programmed with a predetermined algorithm that ensures the precise control of mechanical energy output, whereby the apparatus generates a constant supply of energy through the output of energy from the motor (21) and gearbox (22) to the hoop assembly (5). This algorithm is designed to maintain a constant rotational velocity of the hoop assembly (5) regardless of variations in load conditions applied to the generator (7), which may occur at any time, within the generator's (7) rated load capacity.

[0078] In the event of any deviation from the pre-programmed rotational speed set for the hoop assembly (5), the automated speed control apparatus (2) detects the deviation and initiates a corrective action by adjusting the energy supply from the external energy source to restore the pre-programmed rotational speed of the hoop assembly (5)..

[0079] The power transmitted to the hoop assembly (5) through the electric motor (21) and the gearbox (22) is a precise combination of the desired torque and rotational velocity necessary to satisfy the torque demand for any increase or decrease in load conditions, within the rated capacity of the generator (7). This precise combination of torque and rotational velocity ensures a configuration that provides a stable and consistent operation of the system (100), thereby conserving its angular momentum, with no net force acting on the system. The third component of the system (100) is the Hoop Assembly (5), as illustrated in Figures No. 1, 3 and 4, comprising of:

[0080] A minimum of at least two symmetrical round-shaped hoops (5A and 5B) with vertically arranged dimensions specified according to the design requirements. Each hoop is linked to its respective central hub (51 A and 51 B) through a series of radially extending spokes (52A and 52B) arranged along the axial direction. These two hoops (5A and 5B) are positioned at the desired separation distance and joined together circumferentially by connecting rods (53) to ensure consistent and uniform spacing is maintained along the Y-axis; and

[0081] A horizontal shaft (4), depicted in Figure No. 1, possesses a specified diameter and strategically placed stepped sections, ensuring secure attachment to the central bores of each hub (51 A and 51 B), thereby enabling synchronized rotation. Pillow blocks (31A and 31 B) are positioned at both ends of the shaft (4), and the entire hoop assembly (5) is affixed to a sturdy framework (3), permitting unhindered rotation along the X-axis.

[0082] In this configuration, as depicted in Figure 2, the inner concave curvature of the hoops within the horizontal plane (54A and 54B) defines an uninterrupted traction pathway, characterized by a distinctive toothed gear pattern. This toothed gear pattern is precisely matched to the gear pattern of the wheels (76A and 76B) integral to the Generator Assembly (7), thereby establishing a perfect intermeshed rotational relationship between the hoops (5A and 5B) and the wheels (76A and 76B).

[0083] The hoop assembly (5) is pre-programmed to function at a predetermined angular velocity by means of an external energy source (2) apparatus. The fourth component of the system (100) is the Guide Arm Assembly (5), as depicted in Figure 3, which comprises two symmetrical connecting rods (62A and 62B) of precisely specified length and orientation, each rod being oriented in the vertical direction and further equipped with pillow block bearings (61) at both their ends.

[0084] The upper pillow block bearings (61 A and 61 B) are mounted on their designated step sections on the shaft (4) that is integral to the Hoop Assembly (5), whereas the lower pillow block bearings (63A and 63B) are mounted on their designated step sections on each of the pivotally fixed and axially extended shaft (75A and 75B), located on each respective side of the Generator (7), as illustrated in Figure 4.

[0085] The vertical connecting rods (62A and 62B) are further reinforced by being joined together with a horizontal connecting rod (63), thereby maintaining a fixed distance and alignment between them, as well as their respective positions of installation with respect to the shaft (4) that is integral to the Hoop Assembly (5), and the axially extending shafts (75A and 75B) located on each side of the Generator (7). Within the assembly comprising the shaft members integrally connected to the Hoop Assembly (5) and the Generator Assembly (7), and also including the pillow block bearings, the inner chamfer of said bearings is in a dynamic relationship with its respective shaft member, characterized by a rotational motion that is not obstructive to the rotational motion of the associated shaft. The fifth component of the system (100) is a dynamically balanced Generator Assembly (7), having a cylindrical shape, as depicted in Figures 1, 2, and 4. This component is installed at the lowest point of the concave curvature within the internal diameter of the Hoop Assembly (5), specifically within the void between the first hoop (5A) and the second hoop (5B), wherein the wheels (76A and 76B) of the Generator Assembly (7) are precisely aligned to traverse over the endless traction pathway (54A and 54B) of the Hoop Assembly (5), and are guided by the Guide Assembly (6).

[0086] According to the configuration embodied in the present invention, the Generator Assembly (7) generates electricity by inducing electromagnetic force (EMF) in the stator coils as a result of the relative motion between the "stationary rotor" and the "rotating stator coils". This phenomenon is facilitated by the Lorentz Force, which arises from the interaction between the magnetic field and the moving coils, thereby generating electrical power. The fundamental principle of electromagnetic induction, as described by Faraday's law, remains applicable regardless of whether the rotor or the stator is in motion, thereby ensuring the efficient conversion of mechanical energy into electrical energy.

[0087] Hence, in the present invention, the generator (7) is equipped with a pivotally arranged shaft on both sides (75A and 75B), each having a uniform diameter and length, extending outwardly in the axial direction from the generator (7). These shafts (75A and 75B) are characterized by step segments positioned to accommodate and integrate pillow block bearings (63A and 63B) affixed to the lower segments of the guide arms (62A and 62B), respectively, on each side, as illustrated in Figure No. 3. Each shaft (75A and 75B) further incorporates a wheel (76A and 76B) of specified diameter, fixed in a vertical orientation at their respective step segments, aligned to traverse over the traction pathway of the hoops (54A and 54B). Each wheel (76A and 76B) features a toothed gear configuration that is complementary to the gear design on the traction pathway (54A and 54B) of the hoop assembly (5), ensuring precise alignment and intermeshing with the traction pathway (54A and 54B), thereby preventing slipping or sliding.

[0088] The pivotally arranged shafts (75A and 75B) on each side of the generator (7) may have a uniform diameter and length; however, the shaft (75B) on the rotor-shaft side is a through-bore shaft, permitting the rotor shaft to coaxially pass through it and be introduced into a locking block that immobilizes the rotor shaft, thereby ensuring the rotor's stationary position, as illustrated in Figure No. 4.

[0089] The shaft (75A) on the non-rotor side is equipped with a wire raceway to transmit the electricity generated by the generator through conducting wires to the slip rings installed towards the end of the shaft, thereby serving as the output source of the system (100), as illustrated in Figure No. 6.

[0090] Crucially, in accordance with the configuration of the generator (7) embodied in the present invention, the outer rigid shell (71) housing the stator coils (72) is arranged to maintain a fixed rotational relationship with the wheels (76A and 76B) and the axially extending shafts (75A and 75B) of the generator. This arrangement ensures that the stator coils (72) consistently rotate around the stationary rotor located within the hollow space surrounded by the stator coils. The sixth and the last mechanical component of the system (100) is the Rotor Locking Block assembly (8) comprising if a connecting rod (82) with a pillow block bearings (81) fixed to its upper segment and a Rotor Locking Block (83) fixed to its bottom segment. The pillow block bearings (81) end of the vertically arranged Rotor Locking Block assembly (8) is integrate with the shaft (4) associated with the Hoop Assembly (5), installed on its designated step segment. At the lower end, the yoke (7311) at the end of the rotor shaft (731) is coupled with a fixed and stationary spring (831), which mutually together establish a mechanism that prevents the rotor shaft (731) from rotating, thereby rendering it stationary. However, the spring (831) performs a very important role of absorbing the sudden jerks and surge on torque experienced by the rotor shaft (731) during varying load applications.

[0091] WORKING OF THE SYSTEM AS AN ASSEMBLED UNIT

[0092] Operation of the present system (100) of the present invention is initiated when the Speed Controller (2) draws the desired amount of power from the external energy source and transmits this power to the Hoop Assembly (5) through the Motor (21) and Gearbox (22). The power is subsequently distributed through the shaft-end (43A) coupled to the output shaft of the Gearbox (22), providing a precise distribution of angular velocity and torque necessary for the Hoop Assembly (5) to transition from a stationary position to its normal rotational state.

[0093] Upon initiation of the desired motion of the hoops (5A and 5B), given the intermeshed rotational relationship between the generator (7) and the hoops (54A and 54B), the rotating motion of the hoops (54A and 54B) initially lift the generator assembly (7) to a higher elevation within the concave curvature of the hoops (54A and 54B) to a point where the generator's centre of mass sufficiently shifts towards the lower end of the curvature. This shift in the centre of mass induces a torque within the generator's axis of rotation, initiating a tipping motion, which is converted into a continuous rolling motion, synchronously rotating with the angular velocity of the hoops (5A and 5B) at the desired rotational speed (RPM) needed to generate standardized electricity at frequencies of 50 Hz or 60 Hz, in accordance with International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards.

[0094] In this condition, the total angular momentum of the system (100) is conserved through the redistribution of momentum between the generator (7) and the hoops (5). Besides, the gravitational force and the external energy input driving the hoops reach an equilibrium where the generator's rotational motion is stabilized, and the net external force results in maintaining a constant rotational speed, allowing the generator to produce standardized electricity.

[0095] When a load is introduced to the generator (7), the generator (7) initially experiences a torque deficit, resulting in a state of under-excitation. This state causes the generator (7) to exhibit reduced voltage output, poor voltage regulation, increased reactive power demand, a lagging power factor, potential rotor heating, stability issues, overloading of other system components, and compromised efficiency. These conditions collectively lead to an increase in the internal resistance of the generator (7), which impairs its ability to rotate synchronously with the angular velocity of the hoops (5A and 5B), thus impeding its angular velocity. Consequently, a relative motion develops between the generator (7) and the hoop assembly (5), with the generator (7) lagging in angular velocity. This scenario triggers the following sequential reactions, simultaneously.

[0096] A. The generator's (7) resistive motion is transmitted to the hoop assembly (5) via their contact point, where the geared wheels (76A and 76B) of the generator intermesh with the geared traction pathways (54A and 54B) (illustrated in Figures 1 and 2), thereby causing the hoop assembly (5) to also decelerate. This deviation of the hoops' (54A and 54B) angular velocity from the pre-programmed angular velocity triggers the speed controller (2) to solicit additional energy from the external energy source to reinstate the predetermined angular velocity of the hoops (54A and 54B).

[0097] B. With the input of additional energy, the angular velocity of the hoops (54A and 54B) increases, thereby applying greater vertical frictional force and torque along their curved surfaces. The frictional force between the generator's wheels (76A and 76B) and the inner surface of the hoops (54A and 54B) exerts an upward force on the generator (7), causing it to ascend along the concave surface and move in the direction of the hoops' (5A and 5B) rotation. Additionally, the increased rotational speed of the hoops (5A and 5B) generates a centrifugal force that pushes the generator assembly (7) further outward from its centre of rotation, further contributing to the generator's upward motion within the concave curvature, as illustrated in Figure No. 7, wherein the generator assembly (7) ascends from position 'A' to position 'B'. C. Concurrently, as the generator assembly (7) ascends to a higher position within the concave curvature, it accumulates greater gravitational potential energy and begins to experience an increase in gravitational force due to its steeper angle of elevation encountered during its ascent. For example, as illustrated in Figure No. 7, when the generator assembly (7) is at its resting position at location 'A' (270° relative to the hoop assembly's (5) circle), the gravitational force exerts no significant influence on the generator assembly (7) because gravity is acting in the same direction as the generator assembly's (7) resting position. However, when the generator assembly (7) ascends to location 'B' (315°), the gravitational force experienced by the generator assembly (7) will be approximately 70% of its own gross weight.

[0098] D. Concurrently, as the generator assembly (7) ascends to a higher position within the concave curvature, it accumulates greater gravitational potential energy and begins to experience an increase in gravitational force due to the steeper angle of elevation encountered during its ascent.

[0099] E. Concurrently, as the generator assembly (7) ascends to a higher position within the concave curvature, it accumulates greater gravitational potential energy and begins to experience an increase in gravitational force due to the steeper angle of elevation encountered during its ascent.

[0100] F. Consequently, for any given load, the generator (7) arrives at an 'equilibrium point' within the concave curvature, wherein the hoop's frictional force acting in an upward direction is precisely balanced by the opposing gravitational force acting downward upon the generator (7), thereby causing the generator (7) to maintain a neutral position within the concave curvature and remain stationary at that precise location while simultaneously fulfilling its purpose of satisfying the torque demand imposed by the load. Additionally, equilibrium is maintained between the centripetal force applied by the rotating hoops (54A and 54B) and the centrifugal force exerted by the generator (7) during their interaction. This equilibrium ensures the stability of the generator (7) as it rotates within the trajectory of the hoops (54A and 54B).

[0101] G. While the generator (7) is already functioning to cater to an existing load, and further additional load is applied (limited to the generator's rated capacity), the generator (7) will undergo the same load-to-equilibrium cycle, experiencing a torque deficit and entering a state of under-excitation, resulting in reduced voltage output, poor voltage regulation, increased reactive power demand, a lagging power factor, and other associated issues. These conditions lead to a relative motion between the generator (7) and the hoop assembly (5), which ultimately compels the speed controller (2) to adjust and increase the energy supply from the external energy source to re-establish the pre-programmed angular velocity of the hoop assembly (5). This adjustment further increases the vertical frictional force and induces more torque in the generator's wheels (76A and 76B), causing the generator (7) to ascend further upward in the direction of the hoops' (5A and 5 B) rotation, from location ' B' to location 'C, where the generator (7) gains gravitational potential energy, as illustrated in Figure No. 7.

[0102] H. Similarly, when the load imposed on the generator assembly (7) is reduced, it initially experiences a torque surplus and enters a state of over-excitation, resulting in a decrease in its internal resistance coefficient. This reduction in the internal resistance coefficient leads to an augmentation of the rotational velocity of the hoop assembly (5). The speed controller (2) detects this change and subsequently reduces the energy supply from the external energy source to restore the hoops to their predetermined rotational velocity. In this scenario, the generator (7) descends to a new lower location within the concave curvature, under the influence of gravity, where the hoop's frictional force acting in a direction perpendicular to the curved surface, and the gravitational force acting downward upon the generator (7), re-establish a new equilibrium corresponding to the reduced load, thereby conserving the momentum within the system (100).

[0103] I. In the present invention, the system (100) is specifically designed and configured to operate in a gravitational field in a specific manner where it relies on the force of gravity to establish an equilibrium between the upward forces of friction exerted by the hoops (54A and 54B) and the downward force of gravity exerted by the wheels (76A and 76B) of the generator (7), to achieve a common objective of generating renewable and sustainable electricity. Therefore, as the force of gravity, in the context of the present invention, is an 'active participant' in the overall 'input energy' induced in the present 'hybrid' system to achieve the 'output' electricity from the present system (100), the 'force of gravity' becomes an essential and indispensable "input component", combined with the external energy source, to achieve the objectives of the present invention. This novel concept of the present invention is explained through the illustration in Figure No. 8, wherein the upward-acting force of friction (FF) exerted by the hoop (5A) rotates the wheel (76A) of the generator (7) in a clockwise direction. Simultaneously, the downward-acting force of gravity (FG) acting on the generator's wheel (76A) also causes the generator's wheel (76A) to rotate, in unison, in the same clockwise direction, thereby collectively performing the task of generating electricity. In contrast, if load were to be applied on the present system (100) without the counterforce applied by the force of gravity, the generator assembly (5) would have been driven circumferentially within the inner concave circle of the hoops (54A and 54B), like any other drivetrain system, generating very little non-standardized electricity. Most importantly, when the generator assembly (7) ascends beyond the 90° (horizontal) angular orientation, it encounters a diminution of gravitational potential energy due to the cosine of the angle assuming a negative value beyond this critical point. To mitigate this phenomenon, the generator assembly (7) is designed and configured to not ascend beyond the 90° (horizontal) orientation.

[0104] Consequently, the generator assembly (7), encompassing all its integral member components, is precisely designed and configured to capture and convert the desired gravitational potential energy into torque (Nm) commensurate with its rated power capacity (kW) and recommended rotational speed (RPM), in conjunction with the external energy source.

[0105] In accordance with the principles and concepts set forth in the present disclosure, the system (100) may be adapted to various configurations and scales, and may incorporate alternative mechanical components or design elements tailored to the intended application. Specifically, the rigid circular hoops depicted in the embodiments may be substituted with any motion transmitting apparatus, including but not limited to flexible chains, timing belts, and the like, thereby enabling the creation of the desired concave arc for the generator's (7) wheels (76A and 76B) to traverse over its inner curvature, which is a fundamental aspect of the present system's design and configuration.

[0106] Notwithstanding such modifications, it is essential that they do not alter the fundamental operating principles or the intended function of the system as described and claimed herein. Two specific embodiments exemplifying these adaptations are elucidated in the subsequent specifications, which detail the specific configurations and arrangements of the system's components and features.

[0107] In a specific embodiment of the present invention illustrated in Figure 9, the system (100) aligns with the engineering principles and characteristics outlined in the specifications, achieving the same outcome and objectives. In this configuration, a pair of timing belts (5A and 5 B) is driven by an external energy-based apparatus (21) to propel a set of "gears and shaft" assembly (4) to further transmit its motion to another two "gears and shaft" assemblies (41 and 42) along an elliptical trajectory, which are installed on each side of the generator (7) such that they enable the timer belts (5A and 5B) to replicates the desired concave arc of the original hoop design. This configuration plays a crucial role in minimizing the size and dimension of the system, such that the system (100) functions within the 90° (horizontal) orientation, in either direction, where the generator assembly (7) retains a positive cosine angle, thereby enhancing its compactness and portability.

[0108] In yet another embodiment of the present invention illustrated in Figure 10, the system (100) aligns with the engineering principles and characteristics outlined in the specifications, achieving the same outcome and objectives. In this configuration, the guide arms assembly (6) and the guide arms (62A and 62B) are substituted with robust plates (62A and 62B) having specified dimensions, shape, mass, and weight tailored to produce a precise gravitational force essential for enabling the system to function in accordance with the intended output desired.
