[0004] JP 2020-129311 A
[0005] However, transferring user information between organizations can be difficult. For example, different databases are used by different organizations, making it difficult to transfer user information. In addition, different systems are used by different organizations, making it difficult to transfer information between organizations.
[0006] One of the objects of the present disclosure is to provide an information transfer device and the like that can facilitate the transfer of user information between organizations.
[0007] An information transfer device in one aspect of the present disclosure includes a receiving means for receiving a procedure to start a transfer process for transferring user information between membership-based organizations, a determining means for determining whether information in the source organization can be transferred to the destination organization based on conditions related to the capital contributions of the source and destination organizations, and an execution means for executing the information transfer process in the source organization if the information in the source organization can be transferred.
[0008] An information transfer method in one aspect of the present disclosure accepts a procedure to start a transfer process for transferring user information between membership-based organizations, determines whether the information in the source organization can be transferred to the destination organization based on conditions related to the capital contributions of the source and destination organizations, and if the information in the source organization can be transferred, executes the transfer process of the information in the source organization.
[0009] An information transfer program in one aspect of the present disclosure causes a computer to execute a process that accepts a procedure to start a transfer process for transferring user information between membership-based organizations, determines whether the information in the source organization can be transferred to the destination organization based on conditions related to the capital contributions of the source and destination organizations, and if the information in the source organization can be transferred, executes a transfer process for the information in the source organization.
[0010] Each program may be stored in a non-transitory computer-readable recording medium.
[0011] One example of the effect of the present disclosure is that it makes it easier to transfer user information between organizations.

[0013] Embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
[0014] [Embodiment] First, an example in which it is difficult to transfer user information between organizations will be described with reference to Figs.
[0015] FIG. 1 is a diagram showing an example of an organizational chart consisting of multiple membership-based organizations. Referring to FIG. 1, the organizational chart includes multiple membership-based organizations and an umbrella organization that oversees the multiple membership-based organizations. The multiple membership-based organizations are established, for example, by region. A user belongs to one of the multiple membership-based organizations excluding the umbrella organization. User information is managed by at least the organization to which the user belongs. Each membership-based organization has a database that manages user information. In other words, each organization manages user information in a different database.
[0016] For example, when a user changes the organization they use, it is necessary to transfer the information. A case where a user changes the organization they use is, for example, when the user moves. Here, FIG. 2 is a diagram showing an application example of the information transfer device 10. Referring to FIG. 2, it is necessary to transfer the user's information from organization A, which is the organization the user belonged to before moving, to organization B, which the user will belong to after moving.
[0017] However, transferring user information can be difficult. For example, transferring user information can be difficult because each organization uses a different database to manage user information. In other words, transferring information between organizations can be difficult because the format for managing user information is different. In addition, transferring information between organizations can be difficult because each organization has a different system. An example of a system that differs between organizations is the investment system of each organization. Therefore, the information transfer device 10 supports the transfer of user information between organizations.
[0018] 3 is a diagram showing an example of the configuration of a system including an information transfer device 10. Referring to FIG. 3, the information transfer device 10 is connected to a transfer source DB 12 and a transfer destination DB 13 via a wireless network. The information transfer device 10 may be connected to the transfer source DB 12 and the transfer destination DB 13 via a wired network. The information transfer device 10 is also connected to a user terminal 11 used by a user via a wireless network. Alternatively, the information transfer device 10 may be connected to an organization terminal (not shown) owned by each organization via a wireless network.
[0019] The source DB12 and the destination DB13 are examples of databases owned by an organization. The source DB12 is the database of the source organization. The destination DB13 is the database of the destination organization. A database stores information about users of the organization that owns the database. One organization owns one or more databases. When one organization owns two or more databases, for example, the types of information stored in each database may be different. The total number of databases is not limited to two. The total number of databases may be the same as or greater than the total number of organizations.
[0020] The user terminal 11 is a terminal owned by a user who uses one of multiple organizations. The user terminal 11 includes, for example, a smartphone, a tablet terminal, or a personal computer. Examples of the user terminal 11 are not limited to these. The user terminal 11 may be any terminal that can be operated by the user.
[0021] In addition, organizational terminals owned by each organization may be connected to the information transfer device 10. The organizational terminals include, for example, organizational terminals owned by the source organization. The organizational terminals also include organizational terminals owned by the destination organization. The organizational terminals are, for example, smartphones, tablet terminals, or personal computers. Examples of organizational terminals are not limited to these. The information transfer device 10 may be connected to the organizational terminals via a wireless network. When the information transfer device 10 is connected to an organization terminal, information identifying the organization terminal and organizational terminal ownership information linking the organization that owns the organization terminal are stored in a database. The database in which the organizational terminal ownership information is stored may be connected externally to the information transfer device 10 via a wired or wireless network. The database in which the organizational terminal ownership information is stored may also be included in the information transfer device 10.
[0022] Next, the configuration of the information transfer device 10 will be described with reference to Fig. 4. Fig. 4 is a block diagram showing an example of the configuration of the information transfer device 10. The information transfer device 10 includes a reception unit 101, a determination unit 102, and an execution unit 103. The information transfer device 10 may further include a transmission / reception unit 104.
[0023] First, the receiving unit 101, the determining unit 102, and the executing unit 103 will be described.
[0024] The reception unit 101 is one aspect of reception means that receives a procedure for starting a transfer process for transferring user information between membership-based organizations. The reception unit 101 receives a procedure for starting a process for transferring information about users belonging to an organization. Here, a membership-based organization is an organization to which a person who wishes to belong to the organization can become a member by paying money. A user is a person who belongs to the organization as a member by paying money. The user can then use services and products provided by the organization. A membership-based organization is, for example, an association, and the user is a member. A person who wishes to belong to an organization can join the organization as a user by paying a capital contribution. In other words, the user can become a member of the organization. The user can then use services and products provided by the organization. A membership-based organization may also be a store where members can become members by paying a membership fee. A membership-based organization is, for example, a gym where members can use the facilities by paying a membership fee. In this case, the user is a gym user. The relationship between a membership-based organization and its users may differ from organization to organization.
[0025] The user information includes the user's attribute information and information regarding the investment capital. The user's attribute information is information that represents the user's attributes. The attribute information includes, for example, name, date of birth, age, gender, contact information, or address. The attribute information may also include place of employment or family composition. The content included in the attribute information may differ for each organization. For example, the attribute information in the source organization includes name, date of birth, age, contact information, and address. On the other hand, the attribute information in the destination organization may include place of employment and family composition in addition to name, date of birth, age, contact information, and address.
[0026] Next, information regarding capital contribution is information about the amount paid by the user to belong to an organization. Here, capital contribution refers to the money paid by the user to belong to an organization. The information regarding capital contribution includes the amount paid by the user. Here, capital contribution may be expressed in the form of the number of shares. That is, the amount of each share is predetermined, and the capital contribution paid by the user is counted in units. In this case, the information regarding capital contribution may include information about the number of shares to which the amount paid by the user corresponds. The predetermined amount is set in advance for each organization. The amount of each share may differ for each organization. For example, one share at the source organization may be 5,000 yen, while one share at the destination organization may be 10,000 yen. The amount of one share is one example. The capital contribution may also include an admission fee to the organization.
[0027] The user information may also include the user's purchase information, point information, payment method information, or credit information. The user's purchase information is history information about the products or services used by the organization to which the user belongs.
[0028] The information about points includes the number of points held by the user in the organization to which the user belongs. The points held by the user are, for example, points awarded when the user uses the organization's products or services. The user can use the points to pay for purchases.
[0029] The information on payment methods is information about the payment methods used by users when purchasing products or services from an organization. Examples of payment methods include credit card payment, bank debit, and cash on delivery. Payment methods are not limited to these examples. Users can specify their desired payment method from among the payment methods supported by their organization. The payment methods that users can specify may vary depending on the organization. Furthermore, each organization may have a single payment method predetermined. The information on payment methods includes the payment method used by the user and information required to make a payment using that payment method. For example, if the payment method used by the user is credit card payment, the information required to make the payment includes the credit card number and expiration date. Furthermore, if the payment method used by the user is bank debit, the information required to make the payment includes account information. For example, the account information includes the bank name, branch name, and account number. The information on payment methods is not limited to these. The information on payment methods may be any information required for the user to make a payment.
[0030] Credit information is information that indicates the degree of a user's creditworthiness. For example, the organization to which the user belongs creates credit information based on the user's payment status. If the user's payments are not in arrears, the credit information may indicate that the user is highly trustworthy. On the other hand, if the user's payments are in arrears, the credit information may indicate that the user is less trustworthy.
[0031] The user information is not limited to these examples. The user information may include different information for each organization. For example, in the source organization, the user information includes attribute information, information on capital contributions, information on points, and information on payment methods. On the other hand, in the destination organization, the user information may include credit information in addition to attribute information, information on capital contributions, information on points, and information on payment methods.
[0032] User information is stored in a database owned by the organization to which the user belongs. When a user changes organizations, the user information must be transferred between organizations. Here, reference is made again to FIG. 2. For example, when a user moves, the user information must be transferred from the organization to which the user belonged before the move to the organization to which the user will belong after the move. Therefore, the reception unit 101 receives a procedure to start a transfer process for transferring user information. Specific steps of the transfer process will be described later.
[0033] The reception unit 101 receives, in the procedure for starting the transfer process, information identifying the user who will transfer the information, information identifying the organization from which the information will be transferred, or information identifying the organization to which the information will be transferred. The reception unit 101 may also receive information other than the above in the procedure for starting the transfer process. For example, the reception unit 101 may receive information on a schedule for performing the transfer process. The reception unit 101 may also receive a designation of the type of information to be transferred.
[0034] The reception unit 101 receives a procedure to start the transfer process, for example, from the user terminal 11. The user terminal 11 performs a procedure to start the information transfer process on the reception unit 101 through an operation by a user who wishes to transfer information. The reception unit 101 then receives the procedure to start the transfer process from the user terminal 11. At this time, the user who wishes to transfer information inputs information identifying the user, information identifying the organization from which the information is to be transferred, and information identifying the organization to which the information is to be transferred to the user terminal 11. The user terminal 11 then transmits the information identifying the user, information identifying the organization from which the information is to be transferred, and information identifying the organization to which the information is to be transferred as the procedure to start the transfer process.
[0035] The reception unit 101 may receive a transfer process initiation procedure from an organization terminal of the transfer source organization. For example, this may be the case when a user who desires to transfer information notifies the transfer source organization of his / her desire to transfer the information. Then, an employee of the transfer source organization operates the organization terminal of the transfer source organization to perform a transfer process initiation procedure on the reception unit 101. The reception unit 101 then receives the transfer process initiation procedure from the organization terminal of the transfer source organization. At this time, the employee of the transfer source organization inputs, to the organization terminal, information identifying the user, information identifying the transfer source organization, and information identifying the transfer destination organization. The organization terminal of the transfer source organization then performs, to the reception unit 101, a transfer process initiation procedure including information identifying the user, information identifying the transfer source organization, and information identifying the transfer destination organization. The employee of the transfer source organization may input, to the organization terminal, information identifying the user and information identifying the transfer destination organization. In this case, the reception unit 101 receives the information identifying the user and the transfer destination organization. The receiving unit 101 can then identify the organization from which the transfer is made based on the organization terminal ownership information.
[0036] The reception unit 101 may receive a transfer process initiation procedure from an organization terminal of the destination organization. For example, this may be the case when a user who desires to transfer information notifies the destination organization of his or her desire to transfer the information. Then, an employee of the destination organization operates the organization terminal of the destination organization to perform a transfer process initiation procedure on the reception unit 101. The reception unit 101 then receives the transfer process initiation procedure from the organization terminal of the destination organization. At this time, the employee of the destination organization inputs information identifying the user, information identifying the source organization, and information identifying the destination organization into the organization terminal. Then, the organization terminal of the destination organization transmits the information identifying the user, information identifying the source organization, and information identifying the destination organization as the transfer process initiation procedure. The employee of the destination organization may input the information identifying the user and information identifying the source organization into the organization terminal. In this case, the destination organization terminal transmits the information identifying the user and information identifying the source organization as the transfer process initiation procedure. The receiving unit 101 can then identify the organization to which the transfer is to be made from the organization terminal ownership information.
[0037] The determination unit 102 is one aspect of a determination means that determines whether information in a source organization can be transferred to a destination organization based on conditions related to capital contributions of the source and destination organizations. The conditions related to capital contributions are, for example, whether the capital contributions of the source organization can be converted into the form of capital contributions of the destination organization. As mentioned above, capital contributions are expressed in the form of shares. The amount of each share may differ depending on the organization. Therefore, even if the amount of capital contribution paid by a user is the same, the number of shares may differ depending on the organization to which the user belongs.
[0038] Therefore, the determination unit 102 determines whether the capital contribution paid by the user at the source organization can be converted into the form of capital contribution at the destination organization. The capital contribution form is a form in which the capital contribution is expressed in units. The amount of one unit of capital contribution is determined for each organization. Therefore, when transferring user information, it is necessary to convert the capital contribution at the source organization into the form of capital contribution at the destination organization.
[0039] The determination unit 102 identifies the amount of capital contribution paid by the user at the transfer source organization. For example, the determination unit 102 identifies the transfer source organization using information identifying the transfer source organization received by the reception unit 101. The determination unit 102 then queries the transfer source DB 12 for information regarding the user's capital contribution. The determination unit 102 can then obtain information regarding the user's capital contribution using the information identifying the user received by the reception unit 101. As a result, the determination unit 102 can identify the amount of capital contribution paid by the user at the transfer source organization.
[0040] Furthermore, the determination unit 102 identifies information on the format of the capital contribution of the transfer source organization and the transfer destination organization. For example, the determination unit 102 may identify the format of the capital contribution of the transfer source organization and the transfer destination organization by referring to capital contribution format information, which is information on the format of the capital contribution of each organization. The capital contribution format information is stored in, for example, a database connected to the information transfer device 10.
[0041] An example will be described in which the capital contribution paid by the user in the source organization can be converted into the form of capital contribution in the destination organization. For example, the amount of one share in the source organization is 5,000 yen, and the amount of one share in the destination organization is 10,000 yen. Assume that the user paid six shares of 30,000 yen as capital contribution in the source organization. In this case, the capital contribution of 30,000 yen in the source organization is converted into three shares in the destination organization. Therefore, the determination unit 102 determines that the capital contribution paid by the user in the source organization can be converted into the form of capital contribution in the destination organization.
[0042] An example will be described in which the capital contribution paid by a user at the source organization cannot be converted into the form of capital contribution at the destination organization. In the above example, the user paid one unit of 5,000 yen as capital contribution to the source organization. In this case, the capital contribution at the source organization does not satisfy the amount of one unit of capital contribution at the destination organization. In this way, when the capital contribution at the source organization does not satisfy the amount of one unit of capital contribution at the destination organization, the determination unit 102 determines that conversion is not possible. If the determination unit 102 determines that conversion is not possible, the information transfer device 10 does not transfer the information.
[0043] As another example, suppose a user paid three shares of 15,000 yen as capital contribution to the source organization. In this case, one share of capital contribution and a remaining balance of 5,000 yen will be generated in the destination organization. The amount that cannot be converted into the form of capital contribution of the destination organization is called the remaining amount. In this way, when a remaining amount is generated after converting a portion of the capital contribution paid by the user in the source organization into the form of capital contribution of the destination organization, the determination unit 102 may determine that conversion is possible or that conversion is not possible. If the determination unit 102 determines that conversion is not possible, the information transfer device 10 will not transfer the information. In the following explanation, it is assumed that the determination unit 102 determines that conversion is possible even when a remaining amount is generated.
[0044] An example of a case where the capital contribution paid by a user in the source organization cannot be converted into the form of capital contribution in the destination organization is when the capital contribution in the source organization does not satisfy the condition for the number of units of capital contribution in the destination organization. For example, the destination organization may impose a condition on the user for a minimum number of units of capital contribution. If the number of units of capital contribution in the destination organization after conversion does not satisfy the minimum number of units of the destination organization, the determination unit 102 can determine that conversion is not possible.
[0045] The determination unit 102 may further determine whether the user information can be transferred based on the format of the database. In this case, the user information to be transferred includes attribute information, purchase information, information related to payment method, or credit information. In other words, the determination unit 102 may determine whether the transfer is possible based on whether the format of the information stored in the transfer source DB 12 is compatible with that of the transfer destination DB 13.
[0046] A case where the formats of information stored in the databases are different is, for example, a case where the types of information stored in the databases are different. A specific example will be described. The transfer source DB 12 stores attribute information, purchase information, information related to payment methods, and credit information. On the other hand, the transfer destination DB 13 stores attribute information, purchase information, and credit information, but does not store information related to payment methods. In this case, the determination unit 102 determines that the attribute information, purchase information, and credit information are transferable. However, the determination unit 102 determines that the information related to payment methods is not transferable.
[0047] Another example of a case where the formats of information stored in the databases are different is when the items included in each piece of information are different. The transfer source DB 12 stores name, date of birth, contact information, address, and family structure as items included in the attribute information. Meanwhile, the transfer destination DB 13 stores name, date of birth, contact information, address, and place of employment as items included in the attribute information. In this case, the determination unit 102 determines that the name, date of birth, contact information, and address are transferable. However, the determination unit 102 determines that the family structure, which is attribute information, is not transferable.
[0048] The determination made by the determination unit 102 based on the format of information stored in the database is not limited to these. The determination unit 102 makes a determination in accordance with the formats of the transfer source DB 12 and the transfer destination DB 13.
[0049] The execution unit 103 is one aspect of execution means that executes a transfer process of information in the transfer source organization when the information in the transfer source organization is transferable. Information in the transfer source organization is transferable when the determination unit 102 determines that the information is transferable. The transfer process is a process of transferring user information from the transfer source DB 12 to the transfer destination DB 13. The transfer process includes an information storage process of storing user information in the transfer destination DB 13, a conversion process of converting capital contributions or points, and an accounting process of transferring money between organizations. When the processes executed by the execution unit 103 include an information storage process, a conversion process, and an accounting process, the execution unit 103 first executes the conversion process. Then, the accounting process and the information storage process are executed using the conversion result. The execution unit 103 may execute the accounting process and then the information storage process. Alternatively, the execution unit 103 may execute the information storage process and then the accounting process. Alternatively, the execution unit 103 may execute the accounting process and the information storage process at the same time.
[0050] First, the information storage process will be described. The execution unit 103 identifies the transfer source DB 12 and the transfer destination DB 13 using the information identifying the transfer source organization and the information identifying the transfer destination organization received by the reception unit 101. Then, the execution unit 103 acquires user information from the transfer source DB 12. At this time, the execution unit 103 identifies the user information to acquire from the database using the information identifying the user received by the reception unit 101. Then, the execution unit 103 stores the acquired user information in the transfer destination DB 13. At this time, the execution unit 103 may delete the user information stored in the transfer source DB 12.
[0051] When transferring user attribute information, purchase information, information on payment methods, or credit information, the execution unit 103 executes an information storage process.
[0052] Furthermore, when the determination unit 102 makes a determination based on the format of the database, the execution unit 103 may execute an information storage process for information determined to be transferable by the determination unit 102. In other words, the execution unit 103 may execute an information storage process for information determined to have a format compatible with the format of the information stored in the transfer source DB 12 and the transfer destination DB 13.
[0053] Next, the conversion process and accounting process will be explained. The conversion process is a process of converting capital contributions or points. The accounting process is a process of transferring money between organizations based on the results of the conversion process. In other words, when transferring information related to capital contributions or information related to points, the execution unit 103 performs conversion and accounting processes in addition to information storage processing. The conversion and accounting processes will be explained in detail separately for the case of transferring information related to capital contributions and the case of transferring information related to points.
[0054] The capital contribution conversion process is a process of converting the capital contribution at the transfer source organization into the form of capital contribution at the transfer destination organization. The capital contribution accounting process is a process of transferring the capital contribution at the transfer source organization to the transfer destination organization. Here, the capital contribution form is a form in which the capital contribution is expressed in units. The amount of one unit of capital contribution is determined for each organization. Therefore, as a conversion process, the execution unit 103 converts the amount of capital contribution paid by the user at the transfer source organization into the number of units of capital contribution at the transfer destination organization.
[0055] For example, if the transfer source organization and the transfer destination organization have the same unit price, the number of units in the transfer destination organization will be the same as the number of units in the transfer source organization. Therefore, as a result of the conversion process, the format of the capital contribution in the transfer destination organization will be the same as the format of the capital contribution in the transfer source organization. Then, the execution unit 103 executes accounting processing to transfer the capital contribution in the transfer source organization to the transfer destination organization. In addition, the execution unit 103 executes information storage processing to store information on the number of units of the capital contribution in the transfer destination organization as information on the capital contribution in the transfer destination DB 13.
[0056] Next, a case where the unit price differs between the source organization and the destination organization will be described. When the unit price differs, the execution unit 103 converts the capital contribution at the source organization into the capital contribution format at the destination organization through a conversion process. That is, as a conversion process, the execution unit 103 converts the amount of capital contribution paid by the user at the source organization into the number of units of capital contribution at the destination organization. A specific example will be described. For example, the unit price at the source organization is 5,000 yen, and the unit price at the destination organization is 10,000 yen. The user paid 30,000 yen (six units) as capital contribution at the source organization. In this case, the execution unit 103 executes a conversion process to convert the 30,000 yen capital contribution paid to the source organization into three units at the destination organization. Then, the execution unit 103 executes an accounting process to transfer the capital contribution at the source organization to the destination organization. Furthermore, the execution unit 103 executes an information storage process for the transfer destination DB 13. The information storage process in this case is a process of storing information on the number of investment units in the transfer destination organization as information on the investment.
[0057] In the above example, the entire amount of the capital contribution at the source organization could be converted into the capital contribution of the destination organization. However, there are cases where the entire amount of the capital contribution at the source organization cannot be converted into the capital contribution of the destination organization. For example, suppose the capital contribution at the source organization is 25,000 yen in five shares. As in the above example, each share at the source organization is 5,000 yen, and each share at the destination organization is 10,000 yen. In this case, when the execution unit 103 converts the capital contribution at the source organization into the capital contribution of the destination organization, the number of shares at the destination organization becomes two. Therefore, the execution unit 103 cannot convert the remaining amount of 5,000 yen into the capital contribution of the destination organization. If a remainder occurs, the execution unit 103 performs accounting processing to transfer the amount obtained by subtracting the remainder from the amount of the capital contribution at the source organization to the destination organization. The execution unit 103 also executes an information storage process to store the number of investment shares in the transfer destination organization as information related to the investment in the transfer destination DB 13. Furthermore, the execution unit 103 executes an accounting process to refund the remaining amount to the user. The accounting process to refund the remaining amount to the user may use account information included in the information related to the payment method.
[0058] The execution unit 103 may execute a conversion process to convert the remaining amount into points and a checkout process to grant the converted points to the user. Points will be described later. In addition, the execution unit 103 may request the user to pay the remaining amount remaining after deducting the amount of the transaction.
[0059] If the entire amount of the capital contribution at the source organization cannot be converted into the capital contribution of the transferee organization, the transferee organization may make up the shortfall. Using the above example, if the capital contribution at the source organization is 25,000 yen (five shares), the execution unit 103 may execute a conversion process to convert the number of shares of the capital contribution at the transferee organization into three shares. In this case, the amount transferred by the execution unit 103 to the transferee organization through accounting processing is the capital contribution of the source organization, 25,000 yen. However, the execution unit 103 executes an information storage process to store the number of shares of the capital contribution at the transferee organization as three shares in the transferee DB 13. By having the transferee organization make up the shortfall of 5,000 yen, it is possible to encourage users to join the transferee organization.
[0060] Next, we will explain the conversion process and accounting process when transferring information about points. Point conversion process is a conversion process that makes the points held by the user at the transfer source equivalent to the points at the transfer destination. Point accounting process is a process that transfers an amount corresponding to the points to the transfer destination organization. In point accounting process, points are transferred, for example, by transferring an amount corresponding to the points to a specified account at the transfer destination.
[0061] Each organization has its own point system. For example, the value of one point at the transfer source may differ from the value of one point at the transfer destination. Therefore, the execution unit 103 calculates a multiplier of the value of the points at the transfer source relative to the value of the points at the transfer destination. Then, the execution unit 103 can convert the points at the transfer source into points at the transfer destination by multiplying the points at the transfer source by the multiplier of the value.
[0062] A specific example will be described. The source organization has a point system in which one point is awarded for every 300 yen, while the destination organization has a point system in which one point is awarded for every 100 yen. A user holds 100 points in the source organization. In this case, the value of one point in the source organization is three times the value of a point in the destination organization. Therefore, the execution unit 103 executes a conversion process in which 100 points in the source organization are multiplied by a value multiplier of 3. At this time, the points at the destination organization are 300 points. The execution unit 103 also executes an information storage process in the destination DB 13, where the points held by the user are set to 300 points as information related to points.
[0063] Furthermore, the execution unit 103 executes accounting processing to transfer an amount corresponding to the points to the transfer destination organization. The amount to be transferred to the transfer destination organization may be determined based on the points at the transfer source organization. Furthermore, the amount to be transferred to the transfer destination organization may be determined based on the points at the transfer destination organization. For example, the execution unit 103 executes a conversion process to convert the points at the transfer source organization into an amount where 1 point is 1 yen. Then, the execution unit 103 executes accounting processing to transfer the converted amount to the transfer destination organization. Furthermore, the execution unit 103 executes a conversion process to convert the points at the transfer destination organization into an amount where 1 point is 1 yen. Then, the execution unit 103 executes accounting processing to transfer the converted amount to the transfer destination organization. The point systems at each organization and the method of determining the amount to be transferred to the transfer destination are only examples. It is sufficient that money is transferred from the transfer source organization to the transfer destination organization by executing the accounting process. If the transfer of money is not executed, the transfer destination organization may suffer a loss. For example, let us consider a case where only the information on the number of points is transferred from the source organization to the destination organization. In this case, the user can use the points even when they are not using the products or services of the destination organization. The destination organization uses the points even when they are not using the products or services. In other words, the use of points may result in a loss for the destination organization. Therefore, accounting procedures for transferring money from the source organization to the destination organization can prevent losses for the destination organization.
[0064] There are cases where accounting processing is performed for points of multiple members for the same transfer destination organization. In this case, the execution unit 103 may add up the points of the multiple members and transfer them to a specified account of the transfer destination. There are also cases where accounting processing is performed with the transfer destination and transferee reversed. Specifically, this is the case when accounting processing is performed from organization A to organization B and from organization B to organization A. In this case, the difference in the number of points transferred between the organizations may be transferred to the transfer destination or transfer origin.
[0065] In the above example, it was possible to convert points at the transfer source into points at the transfer destination. However, there are cases where points at the transfer source cannot be converted into points at the transfer destination. For example, when the execution unit 103 performs the above conversion process, the points at the transfer destination are not natural numbers. For example, when the above conversion process is performed, the points at the transfer destination become 333.333... points. In this case, the execution unit 103 may perform a conversion process to convert points at the transfer source into capital investment. Then, the execution unit 103 performs accounting processing to transfer the converted amount of capital investment from the transfer source to the transfer destination.
[0066] The execution unit 103 may execute the conversion process of converting points at the transfer source into capital contributions and the accounting process of transferring the converted capital contribution amount from the transfer source to the transfer destination not only when the points at the transfer source cannot be converted into points at the transfer destination, but also when the points at the transfer source can be converted into points at the transfer destination. In other words, the execution unit 103 may execute the conversion process and accounting process even when the points at the transfer source can be converted into points at the transfer destination.
[0067] Additionally, the execution unit 103 may execute a conversion process to convert the points of the transfer source into cash, and then execute a checkout process to refund the converted cash to the user.
[0068] In addition, if a shortfall occurs in the conversion process of the capital investment, the execution unit 103 may convert the points of the transfer source into the capital investment of the transfer destination. Then, the execution unit 103 may execute accounting processing to transfer the converted amount of the capital investment from the transfer source to the transfer destination.
[0069] The information transfer device 10 may include a transmitting / receiving unit 104 in addition to the receiving unit 101 , the determining unit 102 and the executing unit 103 .
[0070] The transmitting / receiving unit 104 is one aspect of a transmitting / receiving means that transmits an approval request to a user regarding the transfer of the user's information and receives an approval notice or a non-approval notice from a terminal owned by the user. The transmitting / receiving unit 104 transmits the approval request to the user terminal 11. The transmitting / receiving unit 104 may transmit the approval request to a transfer source organization terminal or a transfer destination organization terminal. The transmitting / receiving unit 104 may transmit the approval request to at least one terminal among the user terminal 11, the transfer source organization terminal, and the transfer destination organization terminal. In addition, the transmitting / receiving unit 104 receives an approval notice or a non-approval notice from the terminal that transmitted the approval request.
[0071] FIG. 5 is a diagram showing an example of an acceptance request screen displayed on a user terminal, a transfer source organization terminal, or a transfer destination organization terminal. The acceptance request screen displays information identifying the user, information identifying the transfer source organization, and information identifying the transfer destination organization. Referring to FIG. 5, a name is displayed as information identifying the user. An "Accept" button and a "Do Not Accept" button are also displayed. When the "Accept" button is pressed, the terminal on which the acceptance request screen is displayed transmits an acceptance notification to the information transfer device 10. The transmitting / receiving unit 104 then receives the acceptance notification. On the other hand, when the "Do Not Accept" button is pressed, the terminal on which the acceptance request screen is displayed transmits a non-acceptance notification to the information transfer device 10. The transmitting / receiving unit 104 then receives the non-acceptance notification. Alternatively, the execution unit 103 may accept the acceptance notification and the non-acceptance notification. The acceptance request screen is not limited to the example of FIG. 5. The consent request screen may be any screen that allows the owner of the terminal to which the consent request is sent to input consent to the transfer of information.
[0072] First, a case where an approval request is sent to the user terminal 11 will be described. The screen shown after approval in FIG. 5 is displayed on the user terminal 11. If the user approves the transfer of information, the user presses the "Accept" button. The user terminal 11 sends an approval notice to the information transfer device 10. The transmitting / receiving unit 104 then receives the approval notice. If the user does not approve the transfer of information, the user presses the "Do not approve" button. The user terminal 11 sends a non-approval notice to the information transfer device 10. The transmitting / receiving unit 104 then receives the non-approval notice.
[0073] Next, a case where an acceptance request is sent to the transfer source or transfer destination organization terminal will be described. When an acceptance request is sent to the transfer source or transfer destination organization terminal, a screen similar to that shown in FIG. 5 is displayed on the transfer source or transfer destination organization terminal. Then, if the transfer of information is accepted, the organizational employee who owns the terminal to which the acceptance request was sent presses an acceptance button. The organization terminal sends an acceptance notification to the information transfer device 10. Then, the transmission / reception unit 104 receives the acceptance notification. If the transfer of information is not accepted, the organizational employee who owns the terminal to which the acceptance request was sent presses a "do not accept" button. The organization terminal sends a non-acceptance notification to the information transfer device 10. Then, the transmission / reception unit 104 receives the non-acceptance notification.
[0074] The transmitting / receiving unit 104 may send the consent request to different destinations depending on the information to be transferred. For example, when attribute information is transferred, the consent request is sent to the user terminal 11, but when purchasing information is transferred, the consent request is sent to the user terminal 11 and the organization terminal from which the information is transferred. Alternatively, when credit information is transferred, the transmitting / receiving unit 104 may send the consent request to the organization terminal to which the information is to be transferred.
[0075] The transmitting / receiving unit 104 can use request destination information that associates the type of information to be transferred with a destination to which an approval request is sent when the information is transferred. The request destination information is stored, for example, in a database connected to the information transfer device 10. The transmitting / receiving unit 104 then refers to the request destination information and sends an approval request to a destination corresponding to the information to be transferred.
[0076] The timing at which the transmitting / receiving unit 104 transmits the approval request will be explained later.
[0077] 6, the operation of the information transfer device 10 including the reception unit 101, the determination unit 102, and the execution unit 103 will be described.
[0078] First, in step S101, the reception unit 101 receives a procedure to start the transfer process. In step S102, the determination unit 102 determines whether the information in the transfer source organization can be transferred based on conditions related to the capital investment. In step S103, the execution unit 103 executes the information transfer process if the information in the transfer source organization can be transferred. Then, the information transfer device 10 ends its operation. In step S102, if the information in the transfer source organization cannot be transferred, the information transfer device 10 ends its operation.
[0079] Next, the operation of the information transfer device 10 when it includes the transmitting / receiving unit 104 will be described. The transmitting / receiving unit 104 can transmit an acceptance request when the receiving unit 101 receives a procedure to start the transfer process. That is, the transmitting / receiving unit 104 transmits an acceptance request between steps S101 and S102. Then, when the transmitting / receiving unit 104 receives an acceptance notice, the operation of the information transfer device 10 proceeds to step S102. On the other hand, when the information transfer device 10 receives a non-acceptance notice, the information transfer device 10 terminates its operation.
[0080] Alternatively, if the determination unit 102 determines that the transfer is possible, the transmission / reception unit 104 may transmit an acceptance request. That is, the transmission / reception unit 104 may transmit an acceptance request between step S102 and step S103. The transmission / reception unit 104 may transmit an acceptance request before the execution unit 103 executes the transfer process. Then, if the transmission / reception unit 104 receives an acceptance notification, the operation of the information transfer device 10 proceeds to step S102. On the other hand, if the transmission / reception unit 104 receives a non-acceptance notification, the operation of the information transfer device 10 ends.
[0081] In this embodiment, the information transfer device 10 includes a reception unit 101 that receives a transfer process start request for transferring user information between membership-based organizations; a determination unit 102 that determines whether information in the source organization can be transferred to the destination organization based on conditions related to the source and destination organizations' capital contributions; and an execution unit 103 that executes the information transfer process in the source organization if the information in the source organization is transferable. User information may be stored in a database for each organization. If user information is stored in a different database for each organization, transferring the user information may be difficult if the formats of the source DB 12 and the destination DB 13 are different. However, if the information in the source organization is transferable to the destination organization, the configuration that executes the information transfer process in the source organization enables the transfer of user information even if the formats of the source DB 12 and the destination DB 13 are different. As a result, the configuration of the information transfer device 10 facilitates the transfer of user information between organizations.
[0082] A specific example will be used to explain when it is difficult to transfer user information. For example, a user may change the organization they belong to due to moving. If user information cannot be transferred between organizations, the user must go through the registration process at the new organization. The registration process requires time and effort from the user. However, by making it possible to transfer user information, the time and effort required for the user's procedures can be reduced. In other words, by making it possible to transfer user information between organizations, it is possible to improve user convenience. Furthermore, by reducing the time and effort required for users to go through the procedures, the likelihood that the user will belong to the organization to which the information is being transferred increases. As a result, the organization to which the information is being transferred can increase its number of users. Increasing the number of users who use the organization's products or services can increase the organization's sales.
[0083] In addition, there are cases where the investment system differs from organization to organization. However, the determination unit 102 in the information transfer device 10 determines whether the information in the transfer source organization can be transferred to the transfer destination organization based on the conditions related to the investment of the transfer source and the transfer destination. By determining whether the information can be transferred based on the conditions related to the investment, it is possible to facilitate the transfer of user information between organizations even when the investment system differs from organization to organization.
[0084] A specific example will be used to explain a case where the capital contribution system differs from organization to organization. For example, when the capital contribution system is expressed in the form of the number of shares, the amount of each share may differ from organization to organization. In order for a user to belong to the destination organization, the user must pay the capital contribution required to belong to the destination organization. If the capital contribution of the source organization can be converted into the capital contribution of the destination organization, the converted capital contribution can be paid to the destination organization by executing a transfer process. Therefore, if the capital contribution of the source organization can be converted into the capital contribution of the destination organization, the determination unit 102 determines that the information transfer is possible. Then, the execution unit 103 executes the transfer process. On the other hand, if the capital contribution of the source organization cannot be converted into the capital contribution of the destination organization, the capital contribution cannot be paid to the destination organization by converting the capital contribution of the source organization. Therefore, the determination unit 102 determines that the information transfer is impossible. If the determination unit 102 determines that the information transfer is impossible, the information is not transferred. The configuration of the information transfer device 10 allows the destination organization to receive the capital contribution paid by the newly affiliated user. Furthermore, the user can avoid the hassle of refunding or paying the capital contribution. If information is not transferred between organizations, the user must go through the process of paying the capital contribution to the new organization. Furthermore, the user may need to go through the process of refunding the capital contribution paid to the previous organization. However, the information transfer process is executed based on the conditions regarding the capital contributions of the transfer source and transfer destination organizations, thereby reducing the user's effort. In other words, the transfer of user information between organizations can be facilitated. As a result, user convenience is improved. Furthermore, the likelihood that the user will belong to the destination organization increases. As a result, the number of users using the organization's products or services increases, which can lead to increased sales for the organization.
[0085] In the information transfer device 10 according to this embodiment, the condition is whether the capital contribution at the transfer source can be converted into the capital contribution format at the transfer destination. When the capital contribution is expressed in the form of a number of shares, the amount per share may differ from organization to organization. One reason why information at the transfer source organization cannot be transferred to the transfer destination organization is when the capital contribution format is different between the transfer source and transfer destination organizations, i.e., when the amount per share is different. For example, a case where the amount per share is 5,000 yen at the transfer source organization and 10,000 yen at the transfer destination organization. In this case, the amount of capital contribution paid by the user to the transfer source organization needs to be converted into the number of capital contribution shares at the transfer destination organization. Therefore, the determination unit 102 determines whether the capital contribution at the transfer source can be converted into the capital contribution format at the transfer destination. This configuration enables the information transfer device 10 to appropriately determine whether information at the transfer source organization can be transferred to the transfer destination organization.
[0086] In the information transfer device 10 according to this embodiment, the transfer process includes a conversion process for converting the capital contribution at the transfer source into the capital contribution format at the transfer destination, and an accounting process based on the conversion result of the capital contribution. When transferring information about the capital contribution, it is necessary to transfer money equivalent to the capital contribution from the transfer source organization to the transfer destination organization. Therefore, by including accounting processing in the transfer process executed by the execution unit 103, the transfer and receipt of money associated with the information transfer can be ensured. As a result, the transfer destination organization can receive the capital contribution paid by the user upon joining the transfer source organization from the transfer source organization. Furthermore, if the capital contribution formats differ between the transfer source and transfer destination organizations, the capital contribution at the transfer source must be converted into the capital contribution format at the transfer destination organization. Therefore, by including conversion processing in the transfer process, the amount paid by the user who is changing affiliation can be appropriately transferred and received. In other words, the amount of the capital contribution paid by the user to the transfer source organization can be transferred from the transfer source organization to the transfer destination organization.
[0087] In the information transfer device 10 according to this embodiment, the user information includes information related to points. The execution unit 103 then performs a conversion process to make the points held by the user at the transfer source equivalent to the points held at the transfer destination. Point systems may differ from organization to organization. For example, a point system may differ if the value of one point differs from organization to organization. For example, a point system may be used in which one point is awarded for every 300 yen spent at the transfer source organization, while one point is awarded for every 100 yen spent at the transfer destination organization. In this case, if the number of points held by the user at the transfer source organization were transferred directly to the number of points held at the transfer destination organization, the user may incur a loss. Therefore, the execution unit 103 performs a conversion process to make the points held by the user at the transfer source equivalent to the points held at the transfer destination organization. As a result, the user can use the point system at the transfer destination organization without incurring any losses. This improves the user's satisfaction with the organization. On the other hand, when points are transferred, the recipient organization may experience a situation in which the user uses the points even though the recipient organization's products or services are not being used. In other words, the use of points when the recipient organization's products or services are not being used results in a loss for the recipient organization. Therefore, the execution unit 103 executes accounting processing based on the point conversion result, transferring money from the source organization to the recipient organization. This accounting processing can reduce the recipient organization's losses.
[0088] In this embodiment, the information transfer device 10 executes a conversion process in which the execution unit 103 converts points at the transfer source into capital contributions at the transfer destination when the points cannot be converted into points at the transfer destination, and performs accounting based on the conversion results. When point systems differ between organizations, points at the transfer source may not be converted into points at the transfer destination. For example, the conversion process may result in 333.333... points at the transfer destination. In such cases, the execution unit 103 can convert the points into capital contributions at the transfer destination through the conversion process. By converting points at the transfer source into capital contributions at the transfer destination, users can effectively use their accumulated points without wasting them. As a result, users' satisfaction with the organization improves. Furthermore, since users can effectively use points accumulated at the transfer source organization, users may be more likely to wish to belong to the transfer destination organization. As a result, the transfer destination organization can increase the number of users using its products or services, thereby increasing its sales.
[0089] In this embodiment, when the transfer destination has a shortage of capital contributions, the execution unit 103 of the information transfer device 10 performs a conversion process to convert the points held by the user at the transfer source organization into cash and an accounting process to convert the cash into capital contributions. A shortfall may occur during the conversion process for capital contributions. For example, this may occur when a portion of the capital contributions at the transfer source organization is less than the amount of one unit of capital contribution at the transfer destination organization. Specifically, if the capital contribution at the transfer source organization is 25,000 yen and the unit of capital contribution at the transfer destination organization is 10,000 yen, a remaining amount of 5,000 yen, which is less than the unit of capital contribution, occurs. In such a case, the shortfall is 5,000 yen, calculated by subtracting the remaining amount from the unit amount. When a shortfall occurs, the shortfall can be made up by converting the points at the transfer source organization into cash and using the cash as capital contributions. Users can use the points they have accumulated at the transfer source organization to contribute to the transfer destination organization, allowing them to make larger investments. Furthermore, users can effectively utilize the points they have accumulated in the organization from which they are transferring their funds. This improves user convenience, and the organization receiving the funds can receive a larger amount of capital contributions.
[0090] In this embodiment, if the execution unit 103 of the information transfer device 10 cannot convert points at the transfer source organization, it performs a conversion process to convert points into cash and an accounting process for the cash. If points cannot be converted, the user cannot use the points accumulated at the transfer source organization at the transfer destination organization. In other words, the points accumulated at the transfer source organization may be wasted. However, the information transfer device 10 converts the points accumulated at the transfer source organization into cash, and the user receives the cash, thereby preventing the user from wasting points. As a result, user satisfaction is improved.
[0091] In the information transfer device 10 according to this embodiment, user information includes at least one of the user's attribute information, purchasing information, information related to payment methods, and credit information. When a user changes organizations, the information stored in the source DB 12 must be transferred to the destination DB 13. If the user's attribute information or information related to payment methods cannot be transferred between organizations, the user must take the time to register the attribute information or information related to payment methods in the new organization. However, by transferring the attribute information or information related to payment methods stored in the source DB 12 to the destination DB 13, the user's registration effort can be eliminated. This improves user convenience. As a result, the user may be more likely to wish to belong to the destination organization. As a result, the destination organization may increase the number of users using its products or services, thereby increasing its sales. Furthermore, purchasing information or credit information may be useful to the organization. If the purchasing information or credit information cannot be transferred, the destination organization must collect the user's purchasing information or credit information anew. However, by transferring the purchasing information or credit information stored in the transfer source DB 12 to the transfer destination DB 13, the transfer destination organization can use the purchasing information or credit information of the transfer source organization. The transfer destination organization can improve the quality of the products or services it provides to users by using user attribute information, purchasing information, information on payment methods, or credit information.
[0092] In this embodiment, when the determination unit 102 transfers user information such as attribute information, purchase information, payment method information, or credit information, the information transfer device 10 determines whether the transfer is possible based on whether the format of the information stored in the database of the transfer source organization corresponds to the database of the transfer destination organization. Each organization manages user information, and the database may be different. Furthermore, the different databases may result in different formats of information stored in the databases. Here, the format of the information stored in the databases refers to, for example, the type of information or the items included in each piece of information. If the formats of the information stored in the databases are different, transferring the information may be difficult. Therefore, by determining whether the transfer is possible based on whether the format of the information stored in the transfer source DB 12 corresponds to the format of the transfer destination DB 13, it is possible to determine whether the information stored in the transfer source DB 12 can be transferred to the transfer destination organization. As a result, information can be transferred even if the database formats differ between organizations.
[0093] In this embodiment, the execution unit 103 of the information transfer device 10 executes an information transfer process in which the format of the information stored in the database of the source organization corresponds to the database of the destination organization. The information stored in each organization's database may be information required by each organization. Therefore, by executing an information transfer process in which the format of the information stored in the database of the source organization corresponds to the destination DB 13, it is possible to transfer information required by the destination organization and collected by the source organization. In other words, the destination organization can receive and use the necessary information from the source organization. As a result, the destination organization can reduce the effort required to collect information. Furthermore, the destination organization can improve the quality of products or services provided to users by using the information of the source organization.
[0094] In this embodiment, the information transfer device 10 further includes a transceiver 104 that transmits an approval request to a user's terminal regarding the transfer of the user's information and receives an approval or disapproval notice from the user's terminal. The information transfer device 10 then executes a transfer process when the transceiver 104 receives an approval notice from the user's terminal. A user may not want information registered in a transfer source organization to be transferred to a transfer destination organization without permission. Therefore, the transceiver 104 transmits an approval request to the user's terminal, and executes the transfer process when the transceiver 104 receives an approval notice from the user, thereby allowing the user to approve the information transfer. As a result, the user can use the organization's products or services with peace of mind. Furthermore, the organization can gain the trust of users.
[0095] In this embodiment, the transmitting / receiving unit 104 of the information transfer device 10 transmits an acceptance request to a terminal owned by the transfer source organization. Then, when the transmitting / receiving unit 104 receives an acceptance notice from the terminal owned by the transfer source organization, the transmitting / receiving unit 104 executes the transfer process. The user information stored in the transfer source DB 12 is information collected by the transfer source organization. There are cases where the transfer source organization does not want to provide the collected information to other organizations. Therefore, the transmitting / receiving unit 104 transmits an acceptance request to a terminal owned by the transfer source organization, and when the transmitting / receiving unit 104 receives an acceptance notice from the transfer source organization, the transmitting / receiving unit 104 executes the transfer process, allowing the transfer source organization to choose whether to transfer the information.
[0096] In this embodiment, the transmitting / receiving unit 104 of the information transfer device 10 transmits an acceptance request to a terminal owned by the transfer destination organization. Then, when the execution unit 103 receives an acceptance notice from the terminal owned by the transfer destination organization, it executes the transfer process. The user information stored in the transfer source DB 12 is information collected by the transfer source organization. There are cases where the transfer destination organization does not need the information collected by the transfer source organization. Therefore, the transmitting / receiving unit 104 transmits an acceptance request to a terminal owned by the transfer destination organization. Then, when the transmitting / receiving unit 104 receives an acceptance notice from the transfer destination organization, it executes the transfer process. With this configuration, the transfer destination organization can select whether to transfer the user information of the transfer source organization.
[0097] In this embodiment, the information transfer device 10 transmits an approval request when the transmitting / receiving unit 104 determines that the information in the source organization can be transferred. If the approval request is transmitted before the determination by the determining unit 102, unnecessary processing will occur if it is determined that the transfer is not possible. Furthermore, if the user performs a procedure to select approval for the information transfer, that procedure will be wasted. Therefore, by transmitting an approval request when it is determined that the transfer is possible, unnecessary processing and procedures can be prevented.
[0098] In this embodiment, the information transfer device 10 transmits an approval request when the transmitting / receiving unit 104 receives a procedure to start the transfer process. Even when the procedure to start the transfer process is received, approval for the transfer process may not be obtained. For example, this occurs when the terminal that performed the procedure to start the transfer process with the receiving unit 101 is different from the destination of the approval request. Specifically, this occurs when the procedure to start the transfer process is performed by the user terminal 11, but the approval request is sent to the transfer source organization. In this case, the transfer source organization may not approve the transfer of information. In this case, if the approval request is sent after the determination unit 102 makes a determination, the determination by the determination unit 102 will be unnecessary processing. Therefore, by transmitting an approval request when the transmitting / receiving unit 104 receives a procedure to start the transfer process, unnecessary processing can be prevented.
[0099] In this embodiment, the transmitter / receiver unit 104 of the information transfer device 10 sends consent requests to different destinations depending on the type of information to be transferred. The person requiring consent may differ depending on the information to be transferred. For example, when attribute information is transferred, consent from the user is required, but when purchasing information is transferred, consent from the organization from which the information is being transferred may be required. In addition, when credit information is transferred, consent from the organization to which the information is being transferred may be required. Therefore, by sending consent requests to different destinations depending on the type of information to be transferred, consent from the appropriate person can be obtained for the information to be transferred.
[0100] 7 is a diagram illustrating an example of a hardware configuration of the information transfer device 20 according to the present disclosure. The information transfer device 20 is realized by a computer. The information transfer device 20 is an example of the information transfer device 10 realized by a computer.
[0101] The information transfer device 20 includes a processor 201, a ROM (Read Only Memory) 202, a RAM (Random Access Memory) 203, a storage device 204 such as a hard disk for storing programs, an input / output interface 205 for inputting and outputting data, and a communication interface 206 for network connection. Each component is connected via a bus 207.
[0102] The processor 201 runs an operating system to control the entire computer.
