Abstract
Description
Lid label and packaging
[0001] The present invention relates to a lid label and a package for use in packaging sheet-like materials. This application claims priority based on Japanese Patent Application No. 2023-171252, filed in Japan on October 2, 2023, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference.
[0002] Wet tissues, which are moistened sheets made by impregnating paper, woven fabric, or nonwoven fabric fiber materials with a medicinal solution containing alcohol, moisturizer, surfactant, etc., are stored in airtight and water-impermeable packaging containers to prevent them from drying out. There are a variety of moistened tissues, including those for wiping away skin stains, removing makeup, wiping infants' bottoms, and cleaning. These moistened tissues are packaged in airtight and water-impermeable flexible resin film packaging to prevent the impregnated medicinal solution from drying out. An access opening is formed in the approximate center of the surface of such a packaging, and a lid label is repeatedly attached to the top of this access opening so that it can be opened, closed, and sealed.
[0003] For example, Patent Document 1 describes a package in which contents are stored inside an enclosed bag formed from a flexible sheet, and the enclosed bag has on its upper surface an access opening or a tear-off notch for forming the access opening, and a sheet-like opening and closing lid for covering the access opening or the tear-off notch for forming the access opening, in which a reinforcing sheet that is larger than the access opening or the tear-off notch for forming the access opening and harder than the sheet forming the enclosed bag is attached to the upper surface of the enclosed bag, and the reinforcing sheet is a transparent polyester single sheet having a thickness of 100 to 150 μm.
[0004] As such, conventionally, lid members for packaging of sheet-like materials have been made from single or composite synthetic resins such as polyethylene terephthalate, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester, polyamide, polyvinyl chloride, etc., and have been used as lid labels that can be repeatedly peeled off and attached and are formed from flexible sheets that are soft, airtight, and impermeable.
[0005] However, in recent years, with the growing awareness of environmental issues, there has been a demand to reduce the use of these plastic materials and synthetic resin materials. From this perspective, for example, it is preferable to use paper materials, but when a lid label is manufactured using a paper material, the amount of evaporation of the internal wet sheet increases compared to when it is sealed with a lid label made of synthetic resin material, which causes the wet sheet to dry out more quickly.
[0006] Patent No. 3195305
[0007] SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In view of the above problems of the prior art, an object of the present invention is to provide a lid label and a packaging body that can reduce the amount of evaporation of the internal wet sheet while using a paper material.
[0008] One aspect of the present invention is a lid label for covering the outlet of a package that stores a stack of multiple sheet-like materials, and is characterized in that the lid label is made of a paper material with a waterproof film attached thereto, or a material coated with a waterproof resin layer.
[0009] In this case, in one aspect of the present invention, the paper member has a basis weight of 60 g / m 2 Above, 400g / m 2 The thickness of the waterproof film may be 7 μm or more and 50 μm or less, and the thickness of the waterproof resin layer may be 3 μm or more and 50 μm or less.
[0010] In one aspect of the present invention, at least a portion of the lid label that covers the opening for taking out the package may be waterproofed.
[0011] Another aspect of the present invention is a package characterized in that the above-described label for a cover is provided at the outlet of a sealed bag that contains a stack of sheet-like materials inside.
[0012] According to the present invention, a lid label and a package can be provided that can suppress the amount of evaporation of the wet sheet inside while using a paper member.
[0013] Fig. 1 is a perspective view showing an example of a package to which a lid label according to one embodiment of the present invention is applied. Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view of a lid label according to one embodiment of the present invention. Figs. 3(A) to 3(D) are schematic diagrams showing specific examples of a lid label according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0014] The lid label and packaging body according to the present invention will be described in detail below. Note that the present invention is not limited to the following examples and can be modified as desired without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention.
[0015] FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing an example of a package to which a lid label according to one embodiment of the present invention is applied. As shown in FIG. 1, the package 1 includes a container body 2 made of an airtight and water-impermeable material, and a lid label 10 adhered to approximately the center of the top surface 3 of the container body 2. The package 1 contains a stack 5 of wet sheets, such as wet wipes, stacked one by one and capable of being dispensed. An outlet 6 for removing the wet sheets is formed approximately in the center of the top surface 3 of the container body 2. While the lid label and package according to the present invention are primarily intended for wet sheets, they may also be applied to packaging dry sheets.
[0016] The container body 2 is formed from a flexible, airtight, and water-impermeable sheet, such as a single material or a composite material of synthetic resin, such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester, polyamide, or polyvinyl chloride. The container body 2 is not limited to the above example, and may be made from a composite material in which the above-mentioned synthetic resin is bonded to aluminum foil, paper, or the like. The container body 2 is a so-called pillow-type package in which both longitudinal ends of the film are sealed, and a stack 5 of sheet-like materials is enclosed inside.
[0017] The packaging body 1 is not limited to the so-called pillow type as described above, but may be any type of packaging body that is flexible, airtight, and impermeable, and that can accommodate a wet sheet inside.
[0018] As shown in FIG. 1 , the outlet 6 formed in the container body 2 is formed in approximately the center of the top surface 3, parallel to the longitudinal direction of the container body 2, with both ends forming arcs. The outlet 6 is not limited to the shape shown in FIG. 1 , but may also be oval or rectangular, as long as it is entirely covered by the lid label 10 and allows wet wipes to be dispensed. The outlet 6 is not limited to being pre-formed; it may be formed by perforations to form the outlet 6 in the container body 2 or by thinning the container body 2 at the portion corresponding to the perforations so that the outlet 6 portion of the container body 2 can be cut away. If the container body 2 has perforations or the like, the portion that will become the outlet 6 adheres to the lid label 10 by an adhesive applied to the surface of the lid label 10 facing the container body 2. When using the wet wipes for the first time, the lid label 10 is peeled off from the container body 2, and the portion that will become the outlet 6 is cut off from the container body 2 together with the lid label 10, forming the outlet 6.
[0019] In one embodiment of the present invention, the lid label 10 is constructed of a paper material with a waterproof film attached thereto or a material coated with a waterproof resin layer. Conventional lid labels are formed of flexible, airtight, and water-impermeable sheets made of composite materials such as synthetic resin sheets of polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester, polyamide, and polyvinyl chloride. In response to growing awareness of environmental issues in recent years, the inventors have diligently investigated whether the material could be changed to one primarily made of paper. As shown in the examples described below, the inventors have discovered a lid label that uses paper but can reduce the amount of evaporation of the internal wet sheet.
[0020] Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view of a lid label according to one embodiment of the present invention. As shown in Fig. 2, the lid label 10 according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a base layer 11 made of a paper material, and a coating layer 12 formed by adhering a waterproof film to the surface of the base layer 11 facing the container body 2 and the sheet-like material stack 5, or a coating layer 12 coated with a waterproof resin layer. The underside of the coating layer 12 has an adhesive layer 13 formed by applying a re-adhesive and removable adhesive that can be repeatedly adhered to and removed from the container body 2. The adhesive layer 13 may not be formed in the portion facing the outlet 6, or a member shaped like the outlet 6 may be attached thereto. Additionally, the upper surface of the base layer 11 made of a paper material may be printed with predetermined characters, graphics, etc., and may further include a printed adhesive layer coated with an adhesive for adhering a protective layer, or a protective layer for protecting the printed surface.
[0021] The coating layer 12 is a layer made of a waterproof film or a waterproof resin layer, and an example thereof is polyethylene terephthalate (PET), but is not particularly limited as long as it is a film or resin material having a waterproof function. The adhesive layer 13 is made of a pressure-sensitive adhesive such as a polyester-based, acrylic-based, or rubber-based adhesive.
[0022] In one aspect of the present invention, the paper member has a basis weight of 60 g / m 2 Above, 400g / m 2 The thickness of the waterproof film is preferably 7 μm or more and 50 μm or less, and the thickness of the waterproof resin layer is preferably 3 μm or more and 50 μm or less. These numerical ranges are suitable for the present invention, which the inventors have found through various trial and error including the examples described below.
[0023] 3A to 3D are schematic diagrams showing specific examples of lid labels according to one embodiment of the present invention. The shape of the lid label 10 is not particularly limited, but for example, as shown in FIG. 3A, the lid label 10A is formed in a substantially rectangular shape and has a tab 16 at one longitudinal end to facilitate repeated peeling and adhering to the container body 2. Furthermore, as shown in FIGS. 3B and 3C, the lid labels 10B and 10C may have a stopper 17 at the other longitudinal end to prevent the lid labels 10B and 10C from being completely peeled off when the user peels them off.
[0024] The stopper 17 is formed by providing a notch near the other end of the long side of the lid label 10. The shape of the stopper 17 may be an internal hook type stopper 17 with a notch provided inside the lid label 10B as shown in Fig. 3(B), or an external hook type stopper 17 with a notch provided from the outer edge of the lid label 10C toward the inside as shown in Fig. 3(C). The notch of the stopper 17 is formed by combining linear and curved portions, and serves to stop the lid label 10 from being peeled off from the container body 2 as shown in Fig. 1.
[0025] 3(D), the lid label 10D may have a structure including a reinforcing portion 18. By including the reinforcing portion 18, the lid label 10D can be more firmly fixed to the container body 2 of the packaging body 1.
[0026] The tab 16 is formed at one end in the longitudinal direction and protrudes in a substantially arcuate shape. To make the tab 16 easier to grip, no adhesive layer 13 is formed on the tab 16, and the tab 16 is not affixed to the container body 2. The tab 16 is not limited to the above, and may be formed at the end of the lid label 10 in any shape that allows the user to easily peel it off, and its shape may be, for example, rectangular or trapezoidal. The tab 16 is not limited to the above, and may be formed in any shape that allows the user to easily grip the tab 16, and instead of the adhesive layer 13 being applied, a non-adhesive layer may be further formed at a predetermined position on the adhesive layer 13.
[0027] In one embodiment of the present invention, it is preferable that at least the portion of the lid label 10 that covers the access opening 6 of the package 1 is waterproofed. This is to prevent the lid label 10 of the present invention, which is primarily composed of a paper material, from losing strength due to moisture contained in the sheet-like material over use. Examples of waterproofing include applying waterproof paint or waterproof resin, providing a resin coating layer, or providing a plastic member. The portion that covers the access opening 6 refers to the portion that faces the access opening 6 when the lid label 10 is closed and / or the portion that faces the edge of the access opening 6. Of course, the entire surface of the lid label 10 may be waterproofed.
[0028] The sheet-like material stack 5 contained in the package 1 configured as described above is made by impregnating a wet-strength fibrous material, such as a nonwoven fabric made of pulp, cotton, synthetic fiber, or the like, paper made of natural pulp, synthetic pulp, or cloth such as gauze, with a liquid component or solution, such as water, alcohol, fragrance, lotion, medicine, or surfactant. The sheet-like material stack 5 may be stored in the package 1 in a so-called pop-up format, in which each sheet is folded and overlapped with the other, allowing successive wet wipes to be taken out from the outlet 6 of the package 1, or in a so-called sheet-fed format, in which folded wet wipes are stacked without overlapping. The wet wipes stored in the package 1 may be face masks, makeup removers, baby wipes, cleaning wipes, etc.
[0029] In the package 1 containing wet sheets such as wet tissues, a lid label 10 is attached to the adhesive area 4 with an adhesive layer 13, closing the outlet 6 of the container body 2. This keeps the package 1 airtight and water-impermeable, preventing the contained wet tissues from drying out.
[0030] When removing the sheet-like material from the packaging body 1, the handle 16 of the lid label 10 is grasped and the lid label 10 is pulled upward in the direction of the arrow X in Figure 1, whereby the lid label 10 is peeled from the adhesive area 4 of the container body 2 from the handle 16 side toward the fixed part 7 side, and the stopper 17 peels it down to the fixed part 7, exposing the removal opening 6.
[0031] After the sheet-like material has been removed, the tab 16 of the lid label 10 is picked up and the lid label 10 is lowered in the direction of arrow Y in FIG. 1 to cover and temporarily adhere the lid label 10 over the removal opening 6 of the container body 2 .
[0032] In this way, the present invention can realize a lid label and a package that can suppress the amount of evaporation of the internal wet sheet while using a paper member.
[0033] The present invention will be described in more detail below with reference to specific examples, but the present invention is not limited to the following examples in any way.
[0034] The amount of evaporation of the internal wet sheet laminate when using a lid label according to one embodiment of the present invention was confirmed. The paper member used was K Coat PW8K (basis weight 63 g / m) manufactured by Lintec Corporation as Example 1. 2 ), and Example 2: #200 Miracoat (basis weight 157 / m) manufactured by Moriyoshi Co., Ltd. 2 ), and Example 3: card paper (basis weight 310 g / m 2 A 25 μm polyethylene terephthalate film (PET25) was attached to each paper member. As a comparative example, the evaporation rate of a conventional flap label (made of polyester or polypropylene) was also measured.
[0035]
[0036] A laminate of wet wipes was prepared using 60 sheets of oral wet wipes. 60 sheets (54.6 g) of nonwoven fabric were impregnated with 145.4 g of medicinal solution to adjust the weight to approximately 200 g, and the resulting package was placed inside a container body and sealed with the lid labels according to Examples 1 to 3 and the Comparative Example. The weights of the packages were measured initially, and after 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks, and 4 weeks to measure the amount and rate of evaporation. The results are shown in Table 2, and the average amount and rate of evaporation after 1 week to 4 weeks for Examples 1 to 3 and the Comparative Example are summarized in Table 3.
[0037]
[0038]
[0039] As shown in Table 3, the lid labels of Examples 1 to 3 to which the present invention was applied, although mainly made of paper, had an evaporation rate similar to that of the comparative example (lid labels made of conventional plastic materials), demonstrating that they are materials that can replace lid labels made of conventional plastic materials.
[0040] Although one embodiment of the present invention and each example have been described in detail above, it will be readily apparent to those skilled in the art that many modifications are possible without substantially departing from the novel features and effects of the present invention. Therefore, all such modifications are intended to be included within the scope of the present invention.
[0041] For example, a term described at least once in the specification or drawings together with a different term having a broader or similar meaning can be replaced with that different term anywhere in the specification or drawings. Furthermore, the configurations of the lid label and the packaging body are not limited to those described in the embodiment and examples of the present invention, and various modifications are possible.
