Description

[0001] DESCRIPTION

[0002] MULTIFUNCTIONAL RIGID CURVED FOOD CONTAINER

[0003] Technical Field

[0004] The invention relates to a disposable multifunctional rigid curved paper food container that is used in the food industry, can be closed with any flat lid without the help of another machine, does not lose its rigidity.

[0005] Prior Art

[0006] Disposable containers and lids are frequently preferred today due to their practical and hygienic usage. Disposable containers and lids are among the most practical food containers. There are many different types of disposable containers and lids available. Consumers can choose products with different structures and sizes according to the purpose.

[0007] Disposable containers and lids are preferred to carry all kinds of food in daily life. The reason for their preference is that they provide many advantages to the consumer. These advantages can be listed as;

[0008] • ease of use,

[0009] • trouble-free delivery of service,

[0010] • suitability for rapid use,

[0011] • being hygienic,

[0012] • affordable prices,

[0013] • practicality.

[0014] Disposable containers and lids have many different varieties. We can divide them into 4 groups as; kraft (paper), plastic, aluminium and PP plastic materials. Among these varieties are; • Cardboard food containers,

[0015] • Aluminium food containers,

[0016] • Leak-proof containers,

[0017] • Salad bowls,

[0018] • Plastic bowls,

[0019] • Cardboard boxes.

[0020] Consumers can choose products suitable for the food they want to carry or their areas of use. Then, according to their intended use, we can classify them as sauce containers, hot food containers, dessert containers, soup containers, salad containers and meat and delicatessen containers.

[0021] Disposable containers and lids are also very practical in terms of being hygienic and easy to clean. Since they are thrown away directly when they get dirty, they eliminate the possibility of harbouring germs or having problems with cleaning, so no hygiene problems are encountered.

[0022] Most of the existing products do not harm human health if used properly. However, if the preferred containers and lids are used to carry foods that are not suitable for the material they are produced from, they may harm health. For example, since plastic is a substance that can melt and exhibit carcinogenic properties when melted, plastic bowls should not be used with hot foods.

[0023] Since plastic bottles, cups and similar products are thin and soft, they release all petroleum derivatives into the hot material inside when a hot material is placed in them. They should only be used when consuming cold food and should not be used again after being used once. In addition, the storage conditions of these plastic products are also important. Existing plastic products stored in a sunny place are risky because they directly release their carcinogenic content into the food they store.

[0024] Consumers who want to avoid the carcinogenic effects of plastic products and use healthier products prefer cellulosic consumables. Materials such as cardboard cups, paper plates, wooden stirrers, and paper tablecloths do not harm health if they are made of 100% cellulose. They are also environmentally friendly products with their biodegradability. In this way, consumers can protect both their own health and nature.

[0025] Today, we are slowly entering a period where plastic containers are banned in many countries. With the ban on plastic containers, paper containers have begun to gain great importance. However, the increase in paper use has brought with it some new problems. First of all, the cost has increased for producers and consumers because paper and biodegradable products are very costly compared to plastic products. In addition, the fact that paper products cannot maintain their strength and an additional hot press machine is needed during packaging and lid closing are some of the disadvantages.

[0026] Aims of the Invention

[0027] The invention, with the advantage of its shape, allows paper products to be produced cheaper because its rigidity thus, it needs %50 less paper thickness than other paper cardboards. It protects nature with less paper used in processing. It can also perform food packaging and lid closing processes without the need to use a hot press machine.

[0028] The aim of the invention is to reduce costs with a special mould design and to produce products that are respectful to nature. In addition, the need for a lid can be met without the need for any adhesion or adhesive. The rigidity provided by the special shape of the upper curve of the produced mould, which is not available in other cardboard containers, eliminates the need for a plastic lid and a lid can be made with any flat cardboard. So, both food container and its lid can be environment friendly and low cost.

[0029] There is no other paper food container in this form at present. In all existing products, lids are closed with plastic lids, hot pressing machines or special adhesives.

[0030] The invention is a rigid container that can be closed with any flat cardboard and can preserve food. Due to the special shape of the upper curve of the mould, rigidity is provided in the container and the need for plastic lids, hot presses and adhesives is eliminated. The invention can be closed with just a flat cardboard lid.

[0031] The upper sections of the paper food containers currently used are produced in a flat or curved manner. In this case, the flat product requires an adhesive lid, otherwise the product must be served openly without this adhesive lid. In addition, since there is no support in the upper section of these products, the product loses its rigidity after a while, resulting in the need of using thicker paper.

[0032] In this invention, a new mould method has been determined so that rigidity is not lost, and the product is not deformed. The curved opening of the invention also contributes to its rigidity. In addition, by means of this rigid structure and the curves on its edges, it can be closed with a flat paper lid, which is more advantageous than existing products, and it also avoids harmful effects on health and nature.

[0033] Although the paper salad bowl version of the invention, which is called “Paper Salad Bowl” in the market, is rigid on the top of the product, the upper part is closed with a plastic lid. The advantage of the invention is that it has a rigid structure due to the curling of the upper part. However, in this version, it cannot be closed with a flat lid; it is closed with a plastic lid.

[0034] The structural and characteristic features of the invention and all its advantages will be understood more clearly by means of the detailed description written below, and therefore the evaluation should be made by taking these figures and detailed description into account.

[0043] Description of the Invention This detailed description is about the multifunctional rigid curved food container and is explained solely for the purpose of better understanding the subject and does not create any limiting effects.

[0044] Multifunctional rigid food container is produced with a different production technique. By means of its special production technique, rigidity is provided on the upper side. By means of this rigidity, lower grammage paper / cardboard is used.

[0045] Said invention comprises

[0046] • Food container body (1 ) that holds the products placed inside,

[0047] • Upper diameter flatness (2) on which the lid is placed, which is on the upper part of the paper food container, creates resistance, and increases rigidity,

[0048] • Back curve (3) which increases the container resistance, holds the paper lid, prevents the container from breaking apart when the product is placed inside, and acts as a lock for the container.

[0049] The invention can be closed with flat cardboard or paper without the need for any gluing or hot pressing by means of the back curve (3) and upper diameter flatness (2). It has the feature of being the only cardboard product that can be closed in this way.

[0050] The back curve (3) invention on the upper side of the product has been made suitable for both rigidity and paper cover use.

[0051] The invention is formed with heat while being produced and no gluing or adhesives is used in the production phase.

[0052] The technical and all other features mentioned in each claim are followed by a reference number, and this reference number is used only to facilitate understanding of the claims, so it should not be considered that these limit the scope of the element indicated with this reference number for exemplification purposes.

[0053] It is clear that a person skilled in the art can also reveal the innovation presented in the invention by using similar structures and / or apply this structure to other areas with similar purposes used in the relevant technique. Therefore, it is also obvious that such structures will lack the criteria of innovation and especially surpassing the state of the art.
