Abstract
Description
[0001] TITLE:
[0002] "HAIR WASHING METHOD AND DEVICE
[0003] TEXT OF THE DESCRIPTION
[0004] BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0005] The present invention relates to a method and a device for washing hair.
[0006] PRIOR ART
[0007] As is well known, we all have to consider the fact that through perfect hygiene for our hair, we can achieve truly surprising and unexpected results.
[0008] Below is a list of very common errors and problems that can occur in hair care.
[0009] A first error is to wash your hair upside down.
[0010] In fact, doing so opens the scales and makes them ripple.
[0011] A second error is not to wet your hair well before washing it.
[0012] When shampooing, make sure to wet your hair thoroughly your hair before washing.
[0013] In fact, if there is not enough water in the hair, the shampoo may not lather or lather well, resulting in more product being used than necessary.
[0014] In addition, some small areas of the head may still be dry and this will make it more difficult to clean the hair.
[0015] It is recommended to keep your head in the shower for at least one minute.
[0016] A third error is to proceed with a wrong massage.
[0017] A fourth error is to wash the tips too much.
[0018] The massage should only be aimed at the scalp because that is where the excess sebum is deposited.
[0019] With rubbing on the tips, they are frayed and weakened.
[0020] In addition, no other shampoo should be put on them; in fact, the foam on the head during washing will fall on the lengths, washing them.
[0021] A further error is to never change shampoos.
[0022] Instead, the shampoo should be changed according to the seasons.
[0023] This rule is important because our hair changes depending on the various times of the year.
[0024] Use a moisturising and protective product for the summer.
[0025] For autumn and spring, a fall arrest.
[0026] For winter, an anti-frizz.
[0027] Finally, do not wash too frequently.
[0028] For perfect hygiene, it would be best to wash your hair 2 / 3 times a week even for hair that does not have particular sebum production problems.
[0029] Between washes, we can only rinse our heads with water that will be enough to wipe away sweat.
[0030] Another very common mistake is not rinsing the shampoo well, making the hair dull and dull.
[0031] Yet another error is due to the temperature of the water, which is often mixed at too high a temperature and which, in addition to softening the hair, helps to fade the colour faster on dyed hair.
[0032] A further problem is that using your arms can be tiring because for proper hygiene of our scalp you also need a certain time and type of massage, in addition to the fact that the massage can ruin enamelled or weak nails.
[0033] Prior document KR 2020 0059383 illustrates a pet shower and a washing method, wherein the pet shower drives a rotating cleaning element via a motor and a storage battery provided inside the shower head.
[0034] A rotating cleaning element is provided on which water is sprayed, causing foam thanks to the frictional action caused by the cleaning element and spraying the washing water on an area of friction, thus allowing a plurality of pets or large animals to bathe quickly and efficiently.
[0035] Also a control unit is provided on the left side of which there is a pet shower, while on the right side another normal shower head for washing human skin can be installed.
[0036] An object of the invention is therefore to provide a method and a device that act on the scalp in such a way as to avoid the described errors.
[0037] Another object of the invention is to create a method and a device that offer a wide versatility of use. Another object of the invention is to avoid excessive fatigue in hair washing, especially in the case of the elderly.
[0038] A further object of the invention is to solve the said problems in a rational and economical way.
[0039] SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0040] The above objects are achieved thanks to a method for washing hair, which includes a plurality of steps that are performed after wetting the head and applying a shampoo to the hair, wherein said method includes at least the following steps:
[0041] - bring near the head two preferably curved brushes mounted on flexible tubes and equipped with movable elements and driven by a motor associated with an electronic control unit, where the said movable elements operate as fingertips;
[0042] - select a specific washing program that can be executed by means of said electronic control unit;
[0043] - start a washing cycle of the selected program that includes steps of circular movement of the fingertips on the head for a predetermined period;
[0044] - repeat the washing cycle steps according to the selected program.
[0045] Among the advantages of the present invention, it is included the fact that with the method (and the related device) the hair washing procedure is done optimally for a perfect cleaning without knots forming and without our arms getting tired.
[0046] The invention also relates to a device for washing hair, said device being configured to perform the method of the preceding claims, the device comprising a waterproof electronic control unit equipped with buttons for selecting washing programs, wherein the device also comprises two flexible tubes removable from the control unit and adjustable in length, wherein each of the tubes is provided with a brush, wherein each brush has elements that work like fingertips on the scalp.
[0047] Further features of the invention may be deduced from the dependent claims.
[0048] BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES
[0049] Further characteristics and advantages of the invention will be apparent from reading the following description, which is given by way of example and not limitation, with the aid of Figure 1 which schematically illustrates a hair washing device according to an embodiment of the invention.
[0050] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURE
[0051] The invention will now be described with particular reference to the attached Figure 1 , where a hair washing device is visible, according to an embodiment of the invention, globally indicated with reference numeral 10.
[0052] The device 10 in turn comprises an electronic control unit 100, powered externally, or by battery 190.
[0053] The control unit 100, in addition to providing an ON / OFF button 105, provides a plurality of buttons, each associated with a specific washing program.
[0054] In particular, there is a first button 110 that activates a recommended circular washing program, a second button 120 that activates a vigorous circular washing program, a third button 130 that activates a recommended scrubbing washing program, a fourth button 140 that activates an vigorous scrubbing washing program and a fourth button 150 that activates a relaxation rinsing program.
[0055] All of these programs will be described in more detail below.
[0056] The control unit 100 is waterproof and is intended to be attached to the shower with a suitable adhesive.
[0057] In another embodiment, the control unit is fixed in the shower by means of other means suitable for the purpose such as clips or supports etc.
[0058] From the control unit 100 there are two flexible tubes 24,34, about 100 cm long and removable from the control unit 100 itself and adjustable in length, according to the various needs such as height of the person, distance from the shower head and more. By way of example, consider that the dimensions of the control unit 100 are approximately 27 cm in width, 23 cm in height and 4 cm in depth, or in any case suitable measures to be able to contain a motor 170 and the flexible tubes 24,34.
[0059] To the flexible tubes 24,34 are screwed two brushes 21 ,31 provided with six elements 22,32 which operate as fingertips and which are operable by the motor 170.
[0060] Preferably, the two brushes 21 ,31 are identical and are configured to operate simultaneously on the same user.
[0061] These elements operate as fingertips in the sense that they can be operated by the motor 170 and suitable mechanisms internal to the flexible tubes to perform small circular movements.
[0062] The elements 22,32 operating as fingertips are interchangeable and are preferably made of special latex i.e. suitable for washing and rinsing.
[0063] The elements 22,32 (fingertips) should be about 1 cm thick and about 2 cm long.
[0064] The diameter of the single brush 21 ,31 should be about 11 cm.
[0065] The distance from the beginning or edge of the brush to the first element that acts as a fingertip must be 2.5 cm, the distance from the edge of the brush to the second element is 5.5 cm and the distance from the edge of the brush to the third element is 8.5 cm.
[0066] The elements 22,32 (fingertips) must be 6 for each brush 21 ,31 and no more, otherwise the hair gets tangled and torn.
[0067] It is possible to provide a box containing the elements 22,32 (fingertips) as spare parts, for example a gift box.
[0068] It is possible to provide a sort of interchangeable sheath to protect the fingertips so that wear is prevented by replacing the sheath.
[0069] The work programs of the control unit 100 are now illustrated.
[0070] The first program is the recommended circular washing program, which can be activated with the button 110.
[0071] Preliminarily, wet your head very well on your own in the shower.
[0072] Put the shampoo on your head idipendently.
[0073] Close the shower.
[0074] Pull the brushes 21 ,31 screwed to the tubes, which must be flexible, but rigid (so as not to fall) so that the brushes 21 ,31 remain fixed on the head.
[0075] By pressing the button 110 of the circular wash, you start a cycle of 9 steps (and these for each type of wash) that extends to both hands, i.e. to the brushes 21 ,31 .
[0076] The first step of the washing method acts on the nape of the neck.
[0077] For 10 seconds the brushes 21 ,31 remain fixed and the finger elements 22,32 make a circular movement with gentle friction on the head with a light pressure for the recommended washing and a slightly higher pressure slightly stronger for the vigorous washing program (button 120).
[0078] The pressure values are obtained by appropriately adjusting the motors that move the moving elements 22,32.
[0079] In the second step, the brushes 21 ,31 detach from the head.
[0080] In the third step, they rest in the centre.
[0081] The fourth step involves, as above, a circular movement of the fingertips 22,32 in the centre of the head with gentle friction on the head with light pressure for the recommended washing and a little stronger for the vigorous one, all for about 10 seconds.
[0082] In the fifth step, the brushes 21 ,31 detach from the centre of the head.
[0083] In the sixth step, they lean against the top of the head.
[0084] The seventh step involves, as above, circular movement of the fingertips 22,32 at the top of the head with gentle friction on the head with a light pressure for the recommended wash and a little stronger for the vigorous one, all for about 10 seconds. In the eighth step, the brushes 21 ,31 detach from the top of the head.
[0085] In the ninth step, they return to acting on the nape of the neck.
[0086] These steps are repeated for a maximum time of 3 minutes using the shampoo and then the appliance is switched off. If you want to finish first, simply press the wash button again.
[0087] If the scrub washing is chosen (button 130) the procedure is the same but the movable elements 22,32 that operate as fingertips will make a gentle horizontal friction movement.
[0088] This movement can also be achieved by stopping the rotation of the movable elements 22,32 and manually operating the brushes 21 ,31 .
[0089] A higher pressure will be applied if you select the vigorous scrub washing program (button 140).
[0090] Once the washing is finished, the button 150 of the RELAXATION RINSING program is activated and this also includes the 9-step cycle with circular movement.
[0091] For optimal washing, the washing programs described perform delicate but button circles with the fingertips to wash your hair well. The time needed to wash them thoroughly is at least 2 or 3 minutes.
[0092] In the case of scrubbing: scrub the fingertips from the outside of the scalp to the inside for the same time.
[0093] It is advisable to make 2 shampoos for those who wash their hair 2 / 3 times a week, a single shampoo for those who wash frequently (which must be a maximum of 5).
[0094] Thanks to the device and method of the invention, this procedure is done optimally for a perfect cleaning without knots forming and without our arms getting tired.
[0095] We find in the device the 2 massage systems and, in addition, a vigorous variant for those who like a more intense massage.
[0096] And it is always thanks to the device of the invention, that works like a personal shampoo person, the lengths are safe. Incorrect friction is caused by the use of the palms of the hands and nails.
[0097] We only use the fingertips without being too aggressive.
[0098] That is why finally without any effort on our part, we can save our hair thanks to the invention described, preferably using lukewarm water.
[0099] For very shiny hair, it is advisable to use cold water for a few seconds after the last rinse.
[0100] It is advisable to always wring the hair well before applying the conditioner on the ends, this is because excess water dilutes its effectiveness. So let's use lukewarm water.
[0101] It is quite evident that the dimensions and measures mentioned in this description have been indicated by way of example and not limiting the possibilities of the invention.
[0102] It should be noted that in an embodiment the device can also be inserted during the construction of shower elements, such as showerheads with sliders or shower cubicles with elements such as hydromassage and / or chromotherapy that are already supplied complete.
[0103] Obviously, the invention as described can be modified or improved for contingent or particular reasons, without departing from the object of the invention.
