Resettable magnetoresistance fuse

By using the magnetoresistive fuse design in the fuse, the reset function is achieved using the hysteresis magnetoresistive unit and the reset current conductor, and by controlling the logic unit to remember the fault status, the problem that the existing fuse cannot be reset and memory is solved, and the safety and reliability of the circuit are improved.

AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

In the prior art, the fuse cannot realize the reset function when the power supply is faulty or the electronic components are overloaded, and the previous error operation record cannot be remembered, resulting in the inability to distinguish different causes of the failure.

Method used

A resettable magnetoresistive fuse is adopted, which is composed of a hysteresis magnetoresistive unit, a main current conductor, a reset current conductor, a switching unit and a control logic unit. It can automatically reset after the power supply returns to normal, and the magnetic state of the hysteresis magnetoresistive unit is recorded and read through the control logic unit to distinguish the overload and reset states.

Benefits of technology

The fuse reset function is realized, so that it can automatically restore normal state after troubleshooting, and distinguish different causes of failure through memory function, improving the safety and reliability of the circuit.

Abstract

A resettable magnetoresistance fuse. The resettable magnetoresistance fuse is electrically connected to a power supply circuit or a device to be protected by means of a main input pad and a main output pad and electrically connected to a reset pulse circuit by means of a reset input pad and a reset output pad. The magnetoresistance fuse comprises one or more magnetic hysteresis magnetoresistance units, a main current conductor, a reset current conductor, a switch unit, and a control logic unit, wherein any one of the magnetic hysteresis magnetoresistance units has two magnetic states, i.e., magnetic state 0 and magnetic state 1; and an input end, an output end, a first intermediate end, and a second intermediate end of the main current conductor are electrically connected to the main input pad, the main output pad, an input end of the switch unit, and an output end of the switch unit, respectively. The magnetoresistance fuse has the advantages of a simple structure, a memory function, a low price, etc.
