Abstract
Description
packaging
[0001] The present invention relates to a packaging body for use in packaging sheet-like materials. This application claims priority based on Japanese Patent Application No. 2023-201050, filed in Japan on November 28, 2023, the entire contents of which are incorporated herein by reference.
[0002] Wet tissues, which are moistened sheets made by impregnating paper, woven fabric, or nonwoven fabric fiber materials with a medicinal solution containing alcohol, moisturizer, surfactant, etc., are stored in airtight and water-impermeable packaging containers to prevent them from drying out. There are a variety of moistened tissues, including those for wiping away skin stains, removing makeup, wiping infants' bottoms, and cleaning. These moistened tissues are packaged in airtight and water-impermeable packaging to prevent the impregnated medicinal solution from drying out. An access opening is formed in the approximate center of the surface of such a packaging body, and a lid member is repeatedly attached to the top of this access opening so that it can be opened, closed, and sealed.
[0003] For example, Patent Document 1 describes a packaging container for wet tissues, particularly a packaging container that is made up of a container body and an opening / closing lid made of plastic resin and has an opening / closing mechanism that opens and closes the opening / closing lid by utilizing the elasticity of a resin spring. The invention of Patent Document 1 is said to be able to obtain a packaging container for wet tissues that does not require a special member such as a locking pin member to lock an elastic plate to the main container body, has a simple structure, is easy to assemble, and does not require sorting when discarded.
[0004] However, in recent years, with the increasing awareness of environmental issues, there has been a demand to reduce the use of these plastic materials and synthetic resin materials. From this perspective, it is preferable to use paper materials, for example, but when a package is manufactured using paper materials, there is a problem that the package and the lid material are corroded by the moisture of the wet sheet inside, resulting in a deterioration in strength and appearance.

[0021] Fig. 1 is a perspective view showing an example of a package according to an embodiment of the present invention. Fig. 2 is a perspective view showing another example of a package according to an embodiment of the present invention. Fig. 3 is a perspective view showing the periphery of an access opening of a box-shaped package according to an embodiment of the present invention.
[0022] The packaging body according to the present invention will be described in detail below. Note that the present invention is not limited to the following examples, and can be modified as desired without departing from the gist of the present invention.
[0023] 1 is a perspective view showing an example of a package according to one embodiment of the present invention. One aspect of the present invention is a package 1 comprising a main body 10 for storing a stack of wet wipes, an outlet 5 for removing the wet wipes from the main body 10, and a lid member 20 attached to cover the outlet 5 so as to be repeatedly openable and closable, the main body 10 and the lid member 20 being made of a material primarily composed of paper.
[0024] In one aspect of the present invention, the main body 10 is for flexible packaging, and is a so-called pillow-type package in which both longitudinal ends 16 of a paper-based material are glued together. The lid member 20 is a label-shaped lid label. The main body 10 contains a stack 15 of wet sheets, such as wet tissues, stacked one by one so that they can be fed out one by one. While the package 1 according to the present invention is primarily intended for wet sheets, it may also be used for packaging dry sheets.
[0025] As shown in FIG. 1 , the outlet 5 formed in the main body 10 is formed in the approximate center of the top surface of the main body 10, parallel to the longitudinal direction of the main body 10, with both ends forming arcs. The outlet 5 is not limited to the shape shown in FIG. 1 , but may also be oval or rectangular, as long as it is entirely covered by the lid member 20 and allows wet wipes to be dispensed. The outlet 5 is not limited to a pre-formed outlet 5; it may be formed by perforating the main body 10 to form the outlet 5, by slitting the main body 10 with only a few connection points remaining, or by slitting the main body 10 thin enough to allow the outlet 5 to be cut off. If the main body 10 has perforations or the like, the portion that will become the outlet 5 will adhere to the lid member 20 with an adhesive applied to the surface of the lid member 20 facing the main body 10. When the wet sheet is used for the first time, the lid member 20 is peeled off from the main body 10, and the portion that will become the outlet 5 together with the lid member 20 is cut off from the main body 10, forming the outlet 5.
[0026] Fig. 2 is a perspective view showing an example of another package according to an embodiment of the present invention. In one aspect of the present invention, the main body 10 may be formed in a box shape, and the lid member 20 (lid label) may be formed on the top surface of the box-shaped main body 10. As an example, as shown in Fig. 2, the main body 10 is a waterproofed paper box that is sealed except for the outlet 5, and a paper lid member 20 that opens and closes the outlet 5 is provided on the top surface of the main body 10. In addition, a stack of wet sheets, such as wet wipes, stacked one by one and capable of being fed out, is stored inside the main body 10.
[0027] Furthermore, the main body 10 may have a shape other than that shown in Figs. 1 and 2, for example, a double package having a box-shaped main body on the outer surface of a pillow-shaped package.
[0028] The main body 10 has a size and shape that allows it to store a stack of sheet-like materials. As described above, the main body 10 is formed from a material primarily composed of paper. The paper constituting the main body 10 is, for example, a suitable paper material having a predetermined thickness and strength, such as cardboard, a composite material including a paper layer, or synthetic paper. In the example of FIG. 1 , the main body 10 has a pillow-like shape with both longitudinal ends 16 of the paper-based material sealed or glued. In the example of FIG. 2 , the main body 10 has a cubic or rectangular box shape and includes side portions formed on four sides, a top surface connecting the upper ends of the four side portions, and a bottom surface facing the top surface in the vertical direction and connecting the lower ends of the four side portions.
[0029] The sheet-like material contained in the package 1 is a wet-strength fibrous material, such as a nonwoven fabric made of pulp, cotton, synthetic fiber, paper made of natural pulp, synthetic pulp, or cloth such as gauze, impregnated with a liquid component or solution, such as water, alcohol, fragrance, lotion, medicine, or surfactant. The sheet stack 15 may be stored in the package in a so-called pop-up format, in which each sheet is folded and overlapped with the other, allowing the wet wipes to be taken out successively from the package's outlet, or in a so-called sheet-fed format, in which the folded wet wipes are stacked without overlapping. The wet wipes stored in the package may be face masks, makeup removers, baby wipes, cleaning wipes, etc.
[0030] An outlet 5 for removing sheet-like materials is formed on the top surface of the main body 10. The outlet 5 is formed, for example, in the center of the top surface and is large enough to remove sheet-like materials. When pillow-packaged products are stored inside the box-shaped container, the outlet for the pillow-packaged products is located within the range of the outlet 5 of the main body 10 when viewed in plan (from above).
[0031] The lid member 20 (lid label) is firmly adhered to the top surface of the main body 10, for example, at an edge 21 adjacent to one side thereof, using an adhesive or the like. The lid member also has a tab 22, e.g., a mountain-shaped protruding tab, at the end opposite the adhesive portion. No adhesive is provided on the back surface of the tab 22. An adhesive portion 23 is provided on the back surface of the lid member 20 in an area facing the periphery of the outlet 5. This allows the lid member 20 to be repeatedly peeled and adhered to the top surface of the main body 10. The adhesive portion 23 allows the lid member 20 to be repeatedly attached and detached from the top surface. In other words, the lid member 20 covers the outlet 5 and is configured to be repeatedly opened and closed.
[0032] The lid member 20 (lid label) may have a stopper 17 (shown only in FIG. 1 ) near an edge 21 close to one side of the main body 10 to prevent the lid member 20 from being completely peeled off when the user peels it off. The stopper 17 is formed by providing a notch near the edge 21 of the lid member 20, and the shape of the stopper 17 may be an internal hook-type stopper with a notch provided inside the lid member 20, or an external hook-type stopper with a notch provided from the outer edge of the lid member 20 toward the inside, as shown in FIG. 1 . The notch of the stopper 17 is formed by combining linear and curved portions and serves to stop the lid member 20 from being peeled off from the main body 10.
[0033] In one aspect of the present invention, a lid member in which a base portion and a lid portion are connected via a hinge portion may be used instead of the lid member 20 serving as the lid label described above. As an example, such a lid member is attached to face an opening provided on the top surface of the main body portion. That is, the lid member can be attached by adhering the top surface of the base portion of the lid member to the underside of the periphery of the opening of the main body portion 10. Alternatively, the lid member may be installed so that the bottom of the base portion is adhered to the top surface of the main body portion.
[0034] In one embodiment of the present invention, the main body 10 and the lid member 20 are formed from a material primarily composed of paper. If they are made of pure paper, the weight ratio is approximately 100%. However, in the case of composite materials or synthetic paper containing layers of paper and other materials, it is desirable that the paper-based material be 20% or more by weight paper. Alternatively, in one aspect of the present invention, the paper-based material may be 50% or more by weight paper. If the weight ratio is 50% or more paper, it can be treated as paper under the Resource Effective Utilization Promotion Act.
[0035] In one aspect of the present invention, the material containing paper as a main component is preferably a composite material made of two or more materials, with the weight ratio of paper being the largest, or may be a composite material made of three or more materials, with the weight ratio of paper being the largest.
[0036] As an example of the present invention, the main body 10 or the lid member 20 is preferably constructed of a paper material with a waterproof film attached thereto or a material coated with a waterproof resin layer. The underside of such a coating layer has an adhesive layer formed by applying a re-adhesive and re-peelable adhesive that can be repeatedly attached to and removed from the main body 10. The adhesive layer may not be formed in the area facing the outlet 5, or a member shaped like the outlet 5 may be attached thereto. Alternatively, the opposite surface of the paper layer may be printed with predetermined characters, graphics, etc., and may further have a printed adhesive layer coated with adhesive for attaching a protective layer, or a protective layer for protecting the printed surface.
[0037] The coating layer is a layer made of a waterproof film or a waterproof resin layer, and an example thereof is polyethylene terephthalate (PET), but there is no particular limitation as long as it is a film or resin material having a waterproof function. The adhesive layer is made of a pressure-sensitive adhesive such as a polyester, acrylic, or rubber-based adhesive.
[0038] In one aspect of the present invention, the paper member has a basis weight of 30 g / m 2 Above, 400g / m 2Preferably, the thickness of the waterproof film is 7 μm or more and 50 μm or less, and the thickness of the waterproof resin layer is 3 μm or more and 50 μm or less.
[0039] Next, we will explain the structure around the outlet 5 in the present invention. As described above, in the present invention, the main body 10 and the lid member 20 are formed from a material whose main component is paper. However, if the package 1 is manufactured using paper materials, there is a problem that the moisture in the wet sheet inside erodes the package 1 and the lid member when the sheet is removed, resulting in a deterioration in strength and appearance.
[0040] Figure 3 is a perspective view showing the periphery of the outlet of a box-shaped package according to one embodiment of the present invention. In one aspect of the present invention, as shown in Figures 1 and 3, it is preferable that a waterproof treatment be applied to the periphery 25 of the outlet 5. Here, the periphery 25 of the outlet 5 is, for example, the portion indicated by the hatched area in Figure 3. Examples of waterproofing include applying a waterproof paint such as water-resistant ink or a waterproof resin to the periphery 25 of the outlet 5. Alternatively, the periphery 25 of the outlet 5 may be mold-coated with a resin material to provide a resin coating layer.
[0041] In one aspect of the present invention, a film member that covers at least the edge of the outlet 5 may be attached to the underside of the outlet. The film member may cover only the edge of the outlet 5, or may cover the entire outlet 5. When the entire outlet 5 is covered, a slit is provided in the center of the film member to allow the sheet-like material inside the main body 10 to be removed. This prevents the edge of the outlet 5 from being corroded by the moisture in the sheet-like material, and the film member also reduces evaporation of moisture from the sheet-like material inside the main body 10.
[0042] In this case, a seal member that covers at least the edge of the outlet 5 may be attached to the upper surface of the outlet 5. In this way, the upper surface can also be prevented from being corroded by moisture.
[0043] Alternatively, in one aspect of the present invention, a plastic member may be provided at the outlet 5. As an example, a frame having substantially the same size as the outlet 5 may be formed of a plastic member and fitted into the outlet 5.
[0044] As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to provide a packaging body that is environmentally friendly, reduces costs, and has excellent waterproof properties.
[0045] Although one embodiment of the present invention and each example have been described in detail above, it will be readily apparent to those skilled in the art that many modifications are possible without substantially departing from the novel features and effects of the present invention. Therefore, all such modifications are intended to be included within the scope of the present invention.
[0046] For example, a term described at least once in the specification or drawings together with a different term having a broader or similar meaning can be replaced with that different term anywhere in the specification or drawings. Furthermore, the configuration of the package is not limited to that described in the embodiment and examples of the present invention, and various modifications are possible.
