[0077] The band portion 74 has a fracture origin 81, which serves as a fracture origin, and a tab 82 protruding from the fracture origin 81. The fracture origin 81 is preferably a notch formed on the edge of the band portion 74. The fracture origin 81 is preferably formed at the base end of the band portion 74, i.e., near the main body portion 73. The tab 82 is preferably provided on the side edge of the band portion 74 opposite the side edge on which the fracture origin 81 is provided. An operator can apply a shear force to the fracture origin 81 by pulling on the side edge, thereby breaking the band portion 74 starting from the fracture origin 81.

[0078] A manufacturing method of the seat 1 will be described. The manufacturing method of the seat 1 includes a step of attaching the pressure receiving portion 14 to the seat frame 13, a step of attaching a first wire harness 51 to the seat frame 13, a step of attaching a second wire harness 52 to the pressure receiving portion 14, and a step of connecting a first connector 61 of the first wire harness 51 to a second connector 62 of the second wire harness 52. The seat frame 13 may be the front member 22, and the pressure receiving portion 14 may be the seat cushion pressure receiving portion 14A. The manufacturing method of the seat 1 may include a step of connecting the first wire harness 51 to a control device 45 and a step of attaching the control device 45 to the front member 22. The manufacturing method of the seat 1 may also include a step of connecting the second wire harness 52 to a seat occupancy sensor 46 and a step of attaching the seat occupancy sensor 46 to the seat cushion pressure receiving portion 14A. The manufacturing method of the seat 1 may include a step of attaching the third wire harness 53 to the seatback pressure receiving portion 14B, and a step of connecting the third connector 63 and the fourth connector 67.

[0079] The method for dismantling the seat 1 will now be described. First, the worker removes the covering material and padding from the seat cushion 11 and the seat back 12 to expose the seat frame 13 and the pressure-receiving portion 14. Next, the worker separates the first connector 61 from the second connector 62, and also separates the third connector 63 from the fourth connector 67. Next, the worker removes the seat cushion pressure-receiving portion 14A together with the second wire harness 52 from the seat cushion frame 13A.

[0080] The worker pulls the tab 82 of the clip 55 to break the band portion 74 of the clip 55 and remove the first wire harness 51 from the clip 55. Next, the worker may remove the control device 45 together with the first wire harness 51 from the front member 22.

[0081] According to the seat 1 described above, by separating the first connector 61 and the second connector 62, the second wire harness 52 can be removed integrally with the seat cushion pressure receiving portion 14A from the seat cushion frame 13A. In other words, when removing the seat cushion pressure receiving portion 14A from the seat cushion frame 13A, it is not necessary to remove the second wire harness 52 from the seat cushion pressure receiving portion 14A. This makes it possible to provide a seat 1 that reduces the workload required when removing the seat cushion pressure receiving portion 14A from the seat cushion frame 13A. Furthermore, because the seat occupancy sensor 46 is provided in the seat cushion pressure receiving portion 14A, an operator can remove the seat occupancy sensor 46 together with the seat cushion pressure receiving portion 14A from the seat cushion frame 13A.

[0082] The worker can break the band portion 74 by pulling the tab 82 of the clip 55. This allows the worker to easily remove the first wire harness 51 from the seat cushion frame 13A.

[0083] Although the specific embodiment has been described above, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment and can be widely modified. For example, the clip 55 can have various structures. As shown in FIG. 5 , a slot 85 may be formed in the flange portion 78 of the clip 55, penetrating the shaft portion 77 in the extension direction. The tips of the elastic claws 79 may pass through the slot 85 and protrude further toward the main body portion 73 than the flange portion 78. A pair of slots 85 may be provided corresponding to each pair of elastic claws 79. With this configuration, when the engaging portions 75 of the clip 55 are engaged with the engaging holes 71, the tips of the elastic claws 79 pass through the engaging holes 71 and protrude outward from the flange portion 78. Therefore, by deforming the tips of the pair of elastic claws 79 toward the shaft portion 77, an operator can release the engagement between the pair of elastic claws 79 and the edge of the engaging hole 71, allowing the engaging portions 75 to be removed from the engaging hole 71. This allows the first wire harness 51 to be removed from the front member 22. In this case, the breakage starting point 81 and the tab 82 may be omitted.

[0084] In another embodiment, as shown in FIG. 6 , the shaft portion 77 may be provided with a weakened portion 87 that breaks when a torsional load is applied to the shaft portion 77. In this case, the shaft portion 77 is non-rotatably engaged with the engagement hole 71. For example, the engagement hole 71 may be formed as a rectangular hole, such as a square hole, and the shaft portion 77 may be formed as a rectangular column that fits into the engagement hole 71. The weakened portion 87 may be a notch, groove, or through-hole formed in the surface of the shaft portion 77. An operator can grasp the main body portion 73 of the clip 55 and twist the main body portion 73 about the axis of the shaft portion 77, thereby breaking the shaft portion 77 at the weakened portion 87. This allows the operator to remove the first wire harness 51 from the front member 22.

[0085] As shown in FIG. 7 , the electric actuator 32 includes an electric motor 32A and a reducer 32B that reduces the driving force of the electric motor 32A. A yoke 32D of the electric motor 32A is coupled to a case 32C of the reducer 32B. The yoke 32D may be fastened to the case 32C with bolts. The rotor of the electric motor 32A is rotatably supported by the case 32C and the yoke 32D. The case 32C is coupled to the inner surface of the left seatback side member 26. A fracture origin 91 is formed in the case 32C. The fracture origin 91 is located around the periphery of the joint with the yoke 32D. The fracture origin 91 may be a notch, a groove, or a thin-walled portion. An operator can fracture the case 32C at the fracture origin 91 by applying a load to the yoke 32D. This allows the yoke 32D to be removed from the case 32C, and the rotor to be recovered. The rotor contains copper wire that forms the coils.

[0086] The yoke 32D is provided with a tool engagement portion 32F. An operator may couple a tool to the tool engagement portion 32F and apply a load to the yoke 32D via the tool. The tool engagement portion 32F may be a hole into which the tip of a rod-shaped tool such as a screwdriver or crowbar can be hooked. The tool engagement portion 32F may also have a shaft portion 77 that can be inserted into a hole provided at the tip of the tool.

[0087] 8, the electric actuator 32 may be provided on the outer surface of the seatback side member 26. In this case, access to the electric actuator 32 becomes easier, and dismantling work becomes easier.

[0088] Japanese Patent Publication No. 2018-188137 discloses a vehicle seat in which a speaker and a microphone are provided in the headrest. In such a vehicle seat, a control device for the headrest and microphone may be provided in the seat cushion or the seat back. In this case, a headrest pillar extending from the headrest to the seat back may be formed by a pipe, and a wire harness connecting the speaker and microphone to the control device may be disposed within the pipe. However, if the connector (coupler) provided at the end of the wire harness is large, the connector cannot enter the headrest pillar, making it impossible to pass the wire harness through the headrest pillar. Another embodiment aims to provide a vehicle seat in which the wire harness can be passed through the headrest pillar.

[0089] A vehicle seat 100 according to another embodiment has a configuration similar to that of the seat 1 according to the above embodiment. In the seat 100 according to the following embodiment, the same components as those of the seat 1 are denoted by the same reference numerals and the description thereof will be incorporated herein.

[0090] 9, the seatback frame 13B has left and right seatback side members 26 that extend vertically, and an upper member 27 that extends horizontally and is connected to the upper ends of the left and right seatback side members 26. A headrest 101 is provided on the upper part of the seatback 12.

The electrical device 105 may be connected to the upper parts of the left and right headrest pillars 103 or to the connecting members 104.

[0092] As shown in FIG. 9 , the lower portions of the left and right headrest pillars 103 protrude downward from the upholstery material 107. The upper member 27 is provided with left and right pillar support portions 108 that receive the lower portions of the left and right headrest pillars 103 so that they can move up and down. The left and right pillar support portions 108 are cylindrical and penetrate vertically. The lower portion of each headrest pillar 103 penetrates the corresponding pillar support portion 108. The lower portion of each headrest pillar 103 protrudes downward from the corresponding pillar support portion 108. As shown in FIG. 10 , a plurality of locking grooves 110 are formed on the side surface of the headrest pillar 103, and the pillar support portion 108 is provided with a locking claw 111 that can engage with one of the locking grooves 110. The height of the headrest 101 relative to the seat back 12 is determined by the locking claw 111 engaging with one of the locking grooves 110. In other embodiments, the headrest pillar 103 may be coupled to the pillar support 108 so as not to be movable up and down.

[0093] The electrical device 105 is connected to the control device 45 by a wire harness 120 that extends from the inside of the headrest 101 to the inside of the seat back 12 .

[0094] The wire harness 120 includes a first connector 121, a first wiring 122A, a second wiring 122B, a third wiring 122C, and a fourth wiring 122D extending from the first connector 121, a second connector 123A connected to the first wiring 122A, a third connector 123B connected to the second wiring 122B, a fourth connector 123C connected to the third wiring 122C, and a fifth connector 123D connected to the fourth wiring 122D. The first wiring 122A is formed longer than the second wiring 122B. As a result, the second connector 123A and the third connector 123B are arranged offset from each other in the longitudinal direction of the wire harness 120. The third wiring 122C is formed longer than the fourth wiring 122D. As a result, the fourth connector 123C and the fifth connector 123D are arranged offset from each other in the longitudinal direction of the wire harness 120.

[0095] The first wiring 122A and the second wiring 122B are covered with a first exterior member 125A. The third wiring 122C and the fourth wiring 122D are covered with a second exterior member 125B. The first exterior member 125A and the second exterior member 125B are flexible tubular members. The first exterior member 125A and the second exterior member 125B protect the first to fourth wirings 122A to 122D from external forces. The first exterior member 125A and the second exterior member 125B may be formed of, for example, resin. The first exterior member 125A and the second exterior member 125B may be, for example, corrugated tubes. As shown in FIG. 11 , the first exterior member 125A may have a hole 127A that exposes the second connector 123A to the outside. The second exterior member 125B may have a hole 127B that exposes the fourth connector 123C to the outside. In another embodiment, as shown in FIG. 12 , the second connector 123A and the third connector 123B may protrude outward from the end of the first exterior member 125A. That is, the first exterior member 125A is formed shorter than the second wiring 122B. Furthermore, the fourth connector 123C and the fifth connector 123D may protrude outward from the end of the second exterior member 125B. That is, the second exterior member 125B is formed shorter than the fourth wiring 122D. Furthermore, the first exterior member 125A and the second exterior member 125B may be formed as a single continuous exterior member. In this case, a hole 127C may be formed at the boundary between the first exterior member 125A and the second exterior member 125B, allowing the first to fourth wirings 122A to 122D to pass through.

[0096] 10 , the wire harness 120 branches from a first connector 121 into a set of first wiring 122A and second wiring 122B and a set of third wiring 122C and fourth wiring 122D. The first connector 121 is fixed to the connecting member 104. A branch portion 131 of the wire harness 120 may be formed in a T-shape or a Y-shape. The first connector 121 may be fixed to the center of the connecting member 104 in the left-right direction. The branch portion 131 may be disposed between the left end and the right end of the connecting member 104 in the left-right direction.

[0097] The first wiring 122A, the second wiring 122B, and the first exterior member 125A pass through the interior of one of the pair of headrest pillars 103. The third wiring 122C, the fourth wiring 122D, and the second exterior member 125B pass through the interior of the other of the pair of headrest pillars 103. The second to fifth connectors 123A to 123D are disposed inside the seat back 12.

[0098] An electrical equipment connector 133 is connected to four wires extending from the electrical equipment 105 and is connected to the first connector 121. The four wires are connected to left and right speakers 105A and left and right microphones 105B. The number of pins in the first connector 121 is equal to the total number of pins (terminals) in the second to fifth connectors 123A to 123D. For example, the first connector 121 has eight pins, and each of the second to fifth connectors 123A to 123D has two pins. The second connector 123A and the fourth connector 123C may have the same structure. The third connector 123B and the fifth connector 123D may have the same structure.

[0099] The first wiring 122A has a first protective member 135A at a portion corresponding to the third connector 123B. The first protective member 135A may be a tape wrapped around the outer periphery of the first wiring 122A or a flexible tube attached to the outer periphery of the first wiring 122A. The tube may be made of, for example, rubber. The first protective member 135A protects the first wiring 122A from external forces. This allows the first protective member 135A to protect the portion of the first wiring 122A that contacts the third connector 123B. The first protective member 135A may be provided over the entire length of the first wiring 122A, or may be provided only on the portion facing the third connector 123B.

[0100] The third wiring 122C has a second protective member 135B at a portion corresponding to the fifth connector 123D. The configuration of the second protective member 135B may be the same as that of the first protective member 135A. This allows the portion of the third wiring 122C that contacts the fifth connector 123D to be protected by the second protective member 135B. The second protective member 135B may be provided over the entire length of the third wiring 122C, or may be provided only on the portion facing the second connector 123A.

[0101] The combined width of the third connector 123B and the first wiring 122A provided with the first protective member 135A is smaller than the inner diameter of the headrest pillar 103. This allows the third connector 123B and the first wiring 122A provided with the first protective member 135A to pass through the inside of the headrest pillar 103 as a single unit.

[0102] The combined width of the fifth connector 123D and the third wiring 122C provided with the second protective member 135B is smaller than the inner diameter of the headrest pillar 103. This allows the third connector 123B and the third wiring 122C provided with the second protective member 135B to pass through the inside of the headrest pillar 103 as a single unit.

[0103] The second to fifth connectors 123A to 123D may be fixed to a bracket 137 provided on the seat back frame 13B. A blower 138 is attached to the bracket 137. The first to fourth wirings 122A to 122D protrude downward from the lower end of each headrest pillar 103, form loops 141, and are then fixed to the bracket 137 at the second to fifth connectors 123A to 123D. This prevents excessive tension from being applied to the first to fourth wirings 122A to 122D due to changes in the shape of the loops 141 even when the headrest pillar 103 moves up and down. The third wire harness 53 may be connected to the second to fifth connectors 123A to 123D. The second to fifth connectors 123A to 123D may also be fixed to harness mounting seats provided on the exterior case of the blower 138.

[0104] In another embodiment, the left and right headrest pillars 103 and the connecting member 104 may be formed by bending a single hollow pipe. In this case, it is preferable that an insertion hole for passing the wire harness 120 is formed in the upper end portion of the left and right headrest pillars 103 or the connecting member 104.

[0105] 9 and 10 , resin grommets 143 for protecting the edges may be attached to the upper and lower ends of the left and right headrest pillars 103. The grommets 143 are provided with locking claws to prevent disengagement and locking projections to prevent rotation, and are fixed by fitting into through holes and recesses, respectively, provided at the ends of the headrest pillars 103. The through holes and recesses are preferably provided on the same surface of the headrest pillars 103, and may be provided on the surface opposite to or on the same surface as the locking grooves 110.

[0106] The sum of the diameters of the first wiring 122A and the second wiring 122B may be smaller than the widths of the second connector 123A and the third connector 123B, respectively. The sum of the diameters of the third wiring 122C and the fourth wiring 122D may be smaller than the widths of the fourth connector 123C and the fifth connector 123D, respectively.

[0107] The third wire harness 53 may be mounted at a position that avoids other electrical devices such as a vibration device and a sensor when viewed from the front. The third wire harness 53 may also be mounted at a position that avoids other electrical devices such as a vibration device and a sensor when viewed from above. In the seat cushion 11, the first wire harness 51 and the second wire harness 52 may also be mounted at a position that avoids the contact surface between the seat cushion pressure receiving portion 14A and the pad 106. The wire harness 120 may extend through a hanging groove formed in the pad 106. Portions of the first wire harness 51 and the second wire harness 52 may be fixed to the seat cushion frame 13A. If the seat cushion frame 13A is provided with the seat cushion pressure receiving portion 14A, portions of the first wire harness 51 and the second wire harness 52 may be fixed to the seat cushion pressure receiving portion 14A. If the seat cushion pressure receiving portion 14A is formed of a wire spring, the first wire harness 51 and the second wire harness 52 may also be fixed to the wire spring. When the seat cushion pressure receiving portion 14A is configured by a wire spring and a resin plate supported by the wire spring, the first wire harness 51 and the second wire harness 52 may be fixed to the plate.

[0108] A back plate, which is a resin plate member, may be provided on the back surface of the seat back 12. The back plate may be joined to the seat back frame 13B or sewn to the cover material 107.

[0109] The vehicle in which the seat 100 is installed may be an automobile such as an internal combustion engine vehicle, an electric vehicle (EV), or a fuel cell vehicle (FCEV), an airplane, a ship, a spacecraft, a drone, etc. The electrical device 105 installed in the headrest 101 may be a sensor, a display, a light, a vibration device, an odor generating device, etc. instead of the speaker 105A and the microphone 105B.

[0110] The seat 100 may have a height adjustment mechanism that adjusts the height of the seat cushion 11 relative to the floor 2.

[0111] The second to fifth connectors 123A to 123D may be fixed to the seatback pressure receiving portion 14B supported by the seatback frame 13B. If the seatback pressure receiving portion 14B is configured with a wire spring, the second to fifth connectors 123A to 123D may be fixed to the wire spring. If the seatback pressure receiving portion 14B is configured with a wire spring and a resin plate supported by the wire spring, the second to fifth connectors 123A to 123D may be fixed to the plate. In this case, the second to fifth connectors 123A to 123D may be fixed to the rear surface of the plate.
