[0014] Figure 1 illustrates an example of a layer structure of a hydrocolloid-containing gel base according to the present invention.

[0015] Referring to FIG. 1, the hydrocolloid-containing gel base includes a polyurethane component substrate (11); an adhesive layer (12) containing a hydrocolloid component while being bonded to the substrate (11); and a release layer (13) separable from the adhesive layer (12).

[0016] Hydrocolloid refers to a state in which ions contained in an aqueous solution corresponding to a dispersion medium are adsorbed, or the electrostatic groups present on the particle surface are dissociated and charged, and stabilized by the charge action of such electrostatic charge. Since it has hydrophilicity, it can form a hydration layer by combining with water molecules, thereby having a moisturizing function, and due to such moisturizing function, damage to fingernails or toenails can be prevented and damage treated. The substrate (11) can be made of polyurethane, polyester, polypropylene, or a similar material, and polyurethane has the advantage of being chemically resistant and having excellent elasticity. The substrate (11) can have a thickness of, for example, 10 to 50 ㎛, preferably 20 to 40 ㎛, and most preferably 30 ㎛, but is not limited thereto. The adhesive layer (12) can have adhesive properties and also have hydrocolloid properties. For example, the adhesive layer (12) may be formed from an ethylene-vinyl acetate system, a polyolefin system, a styrene block copolymer system, a polyamide system, a polyester system, a urethane system, a poly(styrene-isoprene-styrene) system, or a poly(styrene-butadiene-styrene) system, and may include a hydrophilic colloid such as protein, starch, gelatin, agar, sugar beet, or pectin, but is not limited thereto. It is advantageous for the adhesive layer (12) to have both hydrocolloid properties and adhesive properties. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the adhesive layer (12) may include a styrene / butadiene copolymer, and preferably, a hydrogenated styrene / butadiene copolymer. For example, the adhesive layer (12) may be composed of 1 to 30 wt% styrene and 30 to 99 wt% butadiene, and may be hydrogenated in the range of 90 to 99% by a catalyst such as titanium.Such a hydrogenated styrene / butadiene copolymer can have adhesive properties while functioning as a hydrocolloid. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the adhesive layer (12) can include cellulose gum. The cellulose gum can be a sodium salt of carboxymethyl cellulose and can have a viscosity of 50 to 200 cP (4% water, 25°C). The cellulose gum can be a viscosity modifier, a thickener, or an emulsion stabilizer, and the adhesive layer (12) can include 1 to 15 wt% of cellulose gum based on the total weight. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the adhesive layer (12) can include keratin, for example, can include keratin in an amount of 0.05 to 0.20 wt% based on the total weight of the adhesive layer. Keratin may have the function of providing nutrition to fingernails or toenails. In addition, the adhesive layer (12) may include horse fat, for example, the adhesive layer (12) may include horse fat in an amount of 0.01 to 0.1 wt% based on the total weight of the adhesive layer. Horse fat contains a certain amount of protein and moisture, and contains vitamin E, so it may have the function of restoring the luster of fingernails or toenails and restoring damaged areas. The adhesive layer (12) may include various ingredients having moisturizing, healing, or nutritional effects, and the present invention is not limited thereby.

[0017] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the adhesive layer (12) may include various antibacterial components, and may include a first antibacterial component made of, for example, zeolite, zinc stearate, fatty acids, or stearamide. Specifically, the first antibacterial component may be included in an amount of 0.1 to 1.0 wt% of the total weight of the adhesive layer (12). The first antibacterial component may include 5 to 50 wt% of zeolite; 1 to 20 wt% of zinc stearate; 5 to 30 wt% of fatty acids or stearamide; 0.1 to 5 wt% of water; and polypropylene or polyurethane making the total 100 wt%. In this configuration, the fatty acids and stearamide may have a weight ratio of fatty acids: stearamide = 0 to 1: 1 to 0, and polypropylene and polyurethane may also be included in the same ratio. Optionally, the adhesive layer (12) may include tea tree oil or terpinen-4-ol extracted from the leaves of Melaleuca alternifolia, which may include a second antibacterial component. The second antibacterial component may be included in an amount of 0.001 to 5 wt% of the total weight of the adhesive layer (12). The adhesive layer (12) may include various antibacterial components, and the present invention is not limited thereby.

[0018] The adhesive layer (12) can be formed with a thickness of 50 to 200 μm, and a release layer can be adhered on top of the adhesive layer (12), and the release layer (12) can be made of, for example, a PET (polyethylene terephthalate) material and can have a thickness of 10 to 200 μm, but is not limited thereto. The gel base formed by the substrate (11), the adhesive layer (12), and the release layer (13) in this way can be made in a form that can be attached to a fingernail or toenail. The gel base can be used, for example, before or after nail art or before attaching a gel sticker to a fingernail or toenail, but can remain attached during daily life. Below, a gel base made in a form that can be attached to a fingernail or toenail is described.

[0019] Figure 2 illustrates an embodiment in which a gel base according to the present invention is made in a form that can be attached to a fingernail or toenail.

[0020] Referring to FIG. 2, a plurality of gel bases (22_1 to 22_5) can be made into one set, and for example, five gel bases (22_1 to 22_5) corresponding to five fingers can be made into one set. The plurality of gel bases (22_1 to 22_5) can be detachably attached to a release film (21), and each of the plurality of gel bases (22_1 to 22_5) can be detached from the release film (21) and attached to a fingernail or toenail. When attached to a fingernail or toenail, each of the gel bases (22_1 to 22_5) can be made of a substrate layer (221) made of polyurethane, polyester, polypropylene or a similar material, and an adhesive layer (222) that attaches the substrate layer (221) to the fingernail or toenail, and the adhesive layer (222) can include a hydrocolloid component as described above. The adhesive layer (222) can be bonded to the substrate layer (221) by a hot melt method or a similar method, and can include a hydrogenated styrene / butadiene copolymer as described above.
