This paper describes a method for producing a sterile in-situ gel based on solvent removal technology, and the resulting product. Compared to conventional aseptic manufacturing methods for in-situ gel formulations, this method adds a volatile solvent during production to reduce the viscosity of the formulation solution, facilitating filtration and sterilization. The volatile solvent can then be removed by various methods without adversely affecting the final in-situ gel formulation. Research data shows that the volatile solvent residues in in-situ gel formulations produced using this method meet safety standards. Compared to formulations produced using the conventional radiation sterilization method, the types and amounts of degradation impurities in the polymer and active pharmaceutical ingredients are both reduced, further improving the safety of the formulation.

The method first constructs a sodium brine gel using chickpea protein, pullulan, and salt, then prepares Antarctic krill surimi with a low total salt content.
