Description

[0001] A TRACTOR AND POWERTRAIN SYSTEM

[0002] TECHNICAL FIELD

[0003] The invention relates to a tractor engine in general.

[0004] In particular, the invention relates to a tractor with a powertrain system comprising a PTO shaft and an auxiliary engine that powers the pump to operate the hydraulics.

[0005] STATE OF THE ART

[0006] Tractor is a land vehicle with a self-propelled engine that operates agricultural tools used in fields, gardens, vineyards, and city parks. The transmission, on the other hand, is the part that transmits the movement from the engine to the shaft or differential at the desired torque value.

[0007] Different operating conditions are required for the tractor to operate efficiently in different areas of use.

[0008] When the electric motor transmits power to the wheels with only a single ratio, it loses its efficiency for different speed-torque requirements. The electric tractor must be designed to operate with a different gear for road conditions, a different gear for field conditions, and speed options in the tractor with appropriate gear ratios and transmission systems integrated with the electric motor.

[0009] Electric vehicles usually do not have the option of shifting or changing gears. Due to the difference between the electric motor and the internal combustion engine, the use of a single gear in the electric vehicle infrastructure is common. In tractors with an internal combustion engine, there are up to 32 different speed gear options.

[0010] The power transmitted by electric motors to the PTO shaft and the pump operating the hydraulics can sometimes be insufficient and the performance of the tractor decreases. Korean patent KR101315148B1 in the state of the art, discloses that the PTO and hydraulic pump are connected to a single engine in electrically operated tractors.

[0011] Korean patent KR102542042B1 in the state of the art, discloses a hydraulic pump connected to the PTO in electric vehicles and driven by the PTO.

[0012] As a result, improvements are made in tractor engines, so there is a need for new structures that will eliminate the disadvantages mentioned above and bring solutions to existing systems.

[0013] OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

[0014] The present invention relates to a tractor engine that meets the aforementioned needs, eliminates all disadvantages, and brings some additional advantages.

[0015] The main object of the invention is to ensure that the power transmitted to the PTO shaft and the pump by the known technical main engine is transmitted by an auxiliary engine, not the main engine.

[0016] An object of the invention is to provide an embodiment that can change the transmission rate of the PTO shaft and the power transmitted to the pump.

[0017] The present invention comprises a tractor with a main engine, a PTO shaft (Power Take Off), a pump that enables the operation of hydraulics, an auxiliary engine that powers the PTO shaft, the pump or both together in order to realize all the advantages to be understood from the abovementioned and the following detailed description. In this way, power is transmitted to the PTO shaft and / or the pump by the auxiliary engine while only power is transmitted to the wheels by the main engine. Thus, the operating performance and efficiency of the tractor are increased.

[0018] In one embodiment of the invention, there is at least one first set of gears that regulate the power transmission rate to the PTO shaft of the auxiliary engine. In this way, the power ratio transmitted to the PTO shaft can be easily adjusted and it is ensured that the power received from the auxiliary engine is transmitted to the PTO shaft at the optimum level. In another embodiment of the invention, there is at least one second set of gears that regulate the power transmission rate of the auxiliary engine to the pump. In this way, the power ratio transmitted to the pump can be easily adjusted and it is ensured that the power received from the auxiliary engine is transmitted to the pump at the optimum level.

[0019] In another embodiment of the invention, the main engine is an electric motor.

[0020] In another embodiment of the invention, the auxiliary engine is an electric motor.

[0021] In another embodiment of the invention, the tractor comprises a control unit that optimizes the power to be transmitted by the auxiliary engine to the PTO shaft or pump. In this way, the power required for the PTO shaft or the pump or both is optimized according to the need of the tractor in the operating condition. Thus, the operating efficiency and performance of the tractor are increased.

[0022] The structural and characteristic features and all the advantages of the invention will be understood more clearly by reference to the following figures and the detailed explanation thereof. Therefore, the evaluation should be made by taking these figures and detailed explanations into consideration.

[0023] BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0024] The present invention should be evaluated together with the figures explained below, in order that it will be constructed, and its advantages will be understood together with the additional elements in the best way.

[0032] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0033] The preferred embodiments of the inventive tractor are described in this detailed description only for a better understanding of the subject and in a way that does not have any limiting effect.

[0034] The invention relates to a tractor with a main engine (1) that transmits power to the wheels, a PTO shaft (6), a pump (4) that enables the operation of hydraulics. The invention is characterized in that it comprises an auxiliary engine (5) that powers the PTO shaft (6), the pump (4) or both together. The auxiliary engine (5) is located on the tractor and the power produced in the auxiliary engine (5) is transmitted to the PTO shaft provided at the rear of the tractor and to the pump (4) that enables the operation of hydraulics.

[0035] In one embodiment of the invention, there is at least one first gear set (2) that regulates the power transmission rate to the PTO shaft (6) of the auxiliary engine (5). The first gear set (2) regulates the transmission rate of the power received from the auxiliary engine (5) to the PTO shaft (6). Thus, the first gear set (2) changes the power transmission rate according to the required torque-speed ratio.

[0036] In another embodiment of the invention, there is at least one second gear set (3) that regulates the power transmission rate of the auxiliary engine (5) to the pump (4). The second gear set (3) regulates the transmission rate of the power received from the auxiliary engine (5) to the pump (4). Thus, the second gear set (3) changes the power transmission rate according to the need of the pump (4) and ensures that the performance of the tractor is at the optimum level.

[0037] In another embodiment of the invention, the main engine (1) is an electric motor.

[0038] In another embodiment of the invention, the auxiliary engine (5) is an electric motor.

[0039] In another embodiment of the invention, the tractor comprises a control unit that enables the optimization of the power to be transmitted by the auxiliary engine (5) to the PTO shaft (6) and / or pump (4). Thus, the control unit can optimize the power that the auxiliary engine will transmit to the PTO shaft (6) or the pump (4) according to the power required by the tractor in the terrain condition. Thus, the operating performance of the tractor is improved. If there is no load only when the pump (4) is working, it works in silent mode at, for example, 100 rpm. When it is detected that a load is formed in the pump (4), the speed is increased and the operating conditions of the auxiliary engine (5) are determined by adjusting the appropriate torque value. In the event that the PTO is activated, the auxiliary engine (5) is operated by determining the torque value, preferably at 540 rpm. The user can determine the speed and torque value according to the need.
