Description

Tent pole fixing unit and tent including same

[0001] The present invention relates to a tent pole fixing unit and a tent including the same, and more particularly, to a tent pole fixing unit that fixes at least one tent pole supporting a tent fabric and a tent including the same.

[0002] In general, tents are equipped with tent poles of various specifications as a means of maintaining their shape, and a plurality of tent poles with flexibility and rigidity support the tent fabric in an unfolded state, thereby maintaining the tent's unique shape, such as a tunnel or dome shape.

[0003] The tent of Korean Patent Publication No. 10-1717048 has a structure in which, when installed, the tent poles are bent to form an arc with their ends touching the ground, thereby raising the tent fabric, thereby completing the structure. At this time, in the tent of Korean Patent Publication No. 10-1717048, the ends of the tent poles are simply inserted into fitting members or the like having insertion holes formed into which the tent poles are inserted, thereby being fixed to the ground.

[0004] In the case of a tent having a structure similar to that of Korean Patent Publication No. 10-1717048, one end of the tent pole is first inserted into the fitting member, and in the process of bending the tent pole, a certain elastic force is formed in the tent pole, so there was a fatal problem in that the end of the tent pole that was first inserted into the fitting member easily came off from the fitting member.

[0005] Accordingly, the present invention was invented to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems, and its purpose is to provide a tent pole fixing unit that facilitates tent installation by fixing the end of a tent pole when installing a tent, and a tent including the same.

[0006] The present invention provides a tent pole fixing unit for fixing a tent pole, comprising: a mounting portion having one side in contact with the ground and into which an end of the tent pole is inserted and mounted; and a pair of fixing portions positioned inside the mounting portion and formed to face each other with a gap therebetween; and a tent pole fixing unit in which the end of the tent pole is inserted between the pair of fixing portions and fixed at the inserted position by pressure from the pair of fixing portions.

[0007] The above pair of fixing parts can be elastically deformed in the horizontal direction as the tent pole end is inserted into the mounting part.

[0008] Each of the pair of fixing parts may include a body part connected to the inner surface of the mounting part; an inclined part extending inclinedly from the lower portion of the body part toward the center of the mounting part; and a catch protruding horizontally from the lower portion of the inclined part to fix the tent pole.

[0009] In addition, the present invention provides a tent including a tent pole supporting a tent fabric and a tent pole fixing unit according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein a spherical insertion ball is provided at an end of the tent pole; and when the insertion ball passes between the pair of fixing parts, the pair of fixing parts are elastically deformed outward upon contact with the insertion ball and then restored when the insertion ball passes between the pair of fixing parts.

[0010] At least one of the tent pole fixing units is provided at each corner of the tent and can be directly or indirectly connected to and fixed to the tent fabric.

[0011] The present invention facilitates the installation of a tent by a single user by preventing the tent pole end from coming off the tent pole fixing unit when installing a tent, since the tent pole fixing unit fixes the end of the tent pole.

[0012] In addition, the present invention provides a tent pole end having an insertion ball and being inserted between a pair of fixing parts, wherein the pair of fixing parts elastically deform in a horizontal direction as the tent pole end is inserted into the mounting part, thereby enabling the tent pole end to be more easily fixed to the tent pole fixing unit.

[0019] Figure 5c is a schematic cross-sectional view of a tent pole fixing unit showing the appearance when the tent pole end passes the catch and is fixed to the tent pole fixing unit.

[0020] Hereinafter, a tent pole fixing unit (10) and a tent (1) including the same according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.

[0021] The tent (1) of the present invention, as illustrated in Fig. 1, includes a tent pole (20) that supports a tent cloth (not illustrated) and a tent pole fixing unit (10). The tent cloth is supported by the tent pole (20) to provide an internal space to the user.

[0022] The above tent pole (20) supports the tent fabric in an unfolded state and can be manufactured from a material having elastic resilience. This tent pole (20) has an overall cylindrical pipe shape and can be formed as a single integral tube or a plurality of straight tubes connected together.

[0023] Referring to Fig. 1, when installing a tent (1), the tent pole (20) is inserted into a tent pole fixing unit (10) whose both ends are in contact with the ground, and the middle portion is deformed to bend upward. This is achieved by the user first inserting one end of the tent pole (20) into one of the tent pole fixing units (10) in contact with the ground, and then bending and deforming the tent pole (20) to insert the other end of the tent pole (20) into another tent pole fixing unit (10) in contact with the ground.

[0024] In the present invention, the ends of the tent poles (20) are each fixed so as not to come off from the tent pole fixing unit (10) while being inserted into the tent pole fixing unit (10). That is, since the tent pole fixing unit (10) of the present invention fixes the end of the tent pole (20), even if one end of the tent pole (20) that is first inserted into the tent pole fixing unit (10) receives a force that tries to come off from the tent pole fixing unit (10) due to elastic restoring force when the tent pole (20) is bent during the process of installing the tent (1), the one end of the tent pole (20) does not come off from the tent pole fixing unit (10). Accordingly, a user can easily install a tent by himself / herself without the help of others.

[0025] Such tent pole fixing units (10) are provided at each corner of the tent, as shown in Fig. 1, and are directly or indirectly connected to and fixed to the tent fabric.

[0026] Meanwhile, the detailed structure of the tent pole fixing unit (10) is specifically described below.

[0027] The above tent pole fixing unit (10) fixes a tent pole (20), and includes a mounting portion (11) having one side in contact with the ground and into which an end of the tent pole (20) is inserted and mounted; and a pair of fixing portions (12) positioned inside the mounting portion (11) and formed to face each other with a gap therebetween.

[0028] Specifically, as illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 3, the mounting portion (11) has one side in contact with the ground, and the end of the tent pole (20) is inserted and mounted therein. More specifically, the mounting portion (11) has a lower side that directly or indirectly contacts the ground so that the end position of the tent pole (20) can be fixed with respect to the ground, and an accommodation space that can accommodate the end of the tent pole (20) is formed inside.

[0029] In this mounting portion (11), a first tent fabric connecting portion (13) and a second tent fabric connecting portion (14) are protrudingly formed so as to be able to connect and fix a tent pole fixing unit (10) to the tent fabric. The first tent fabric connecting portion (13) and the second tent fabric connecting portion (14) can be connected to the tent fabric by a connecting string (not shown) or the like, and one connecting string can be connected to both the first tent fabric connecting portion (13) and the second tent fabric connecting portion (14).

[0030] The first tent fabric connecting portion (13) protrudes from the rear of the mounting portion (11) and has a receiving space formed into which a connecting strap can be inserted, and the second tent fabric connecting portions (14) are formed as a pair facing each other and have a fixing hole formed into which a connecting strap can be directly or indirectly fixed. The connecting strap can be provided between a pair of second tent fabric connecting portions (14).

[0031] Meanwhile, as shown in Fig. 4, the end of the tent pole (20) is positioned in the receiving space inside the mounting portion (11) and is fixed by the fixing portion (12). Note that only one of the pair of fixing portions (12) is shown in Fig. 4.

[0032] The above pair of fixing parts (12) are positioned inside the mounting part (11) and are formed to face each other with a gap therebetween, and the end of the tent pole (20) described above is inserted between the pair of fixing parts (12) and is fixed at the inserted position by the pressure of the pair of fixing parts (12).

[0033] Specifically, the pair of fixing parts (12) are elastically deformed in the horizontal direction as the end of the tent pole (20) is inserted into the mounting part (11), and the end of the tent pole (20) can be easily and quickly fixed to the mounting part (11) according to the elastic deformation of the pair of fixing parts (12).

[0034] Each of the pair of fixing parts (12) includes, as shown in FIGS. 5a to 5c, a body part (15) connected to the inner surface of the mounting part (11); an inclined part (16) extending inclinedly from the lower portion of the body part (15) toward the center of the mounting part (11); and a catch protrusion (17) protruding horizontally from the lower portion of the inclined part (16) to fix the tent pole (20).

[0035] The above body part (15) is connected to the inner surface of the mounting part (11), and can be formed to protrude from the inner surface of the mounting part (11) toward the inside of the mounting part (11).

[0036] The above-mentioned inclined portion (16) extends inclinedly from the lower portion of the body portion (15) toward the center of the mounting portion (11). That is, the inclined portion (16) forms a space between the body portions (15) into which the end of the tent pole (20) can be inserted, and is formed inclinedly toward the inner center of the mounting portion (11) so that the hooking jaw (17) described later can easily contact the end of the tent pole (20) and the insertion direction of the tent pole (20) can be guided.

[0037] The above-mentioned catch (17) protrudes horizontally from the lower portion of the above-mentioned inclined portion (16) to secure the above-mentioned tent pole (20). Specifically, the above-mentioned catch (17) protrudes from the lower portion of the above-mentioned inclined portion (16) into the interior of the mounting portion (11) to secure the end of the tent pole (20) inserted into the receiving space of the mounting portion (11).

[0038] Meanwhile, the operating method of a pair of fixing parts (12) for fixing the end of a tent pole (20) is described below together with the specific shape of the end of the tent pole (20).

[0039] Referring again to FIGS. 2 and 4, at least one end of the tent pole (20) is provided with a spherical insertion ball (21) and a connecting portion (22) provided between the insertion ball (21) and the end of the tent pole (20). Accordingly, the end of the tent pole (20) can be more stably and easily fixed with the tent pole fixing unit (10).

[0040] Specifically, the insertion ball (21) is provided at the end of the tent pole (20) that is inserted into the tent pole fixing unit (10). In addition, a connecting portion (22) is provided between the insertion ball (21) and the end of the tent pole (20), and connects the insertion ball (21) to the end of the tent pole (20). The diameter of the connecting portion (22) is formed to be smaller than the diameters of the insertion ball (21) and the tent pole (20).

[0041] That is, in the present invention, the pair of fixed parts (12) are elastically deformed outward upon contact with the insertion ball (21) when the insertion ball (21) passes between the pair of fixed parts (12), and are restored when the insertion ball (21) passes between the pair of fixed parts (12).

[0042] More specifically, the end of the tent pole (20) having the insertion ball (21) and the connecting portion (22) is inserted into the mounting portion (11) along the inclined portion (16), as shown in Fig. 5a, and when inserted to a certain depth or more, the insertion ball (21) comes into contact with the catch jaw (17). Then, when the insertion ball (21) comes into contact with the catch jaw (17) and a downward pressing force of a certain level or more is applied to the catch jaw (17), as shown in Fig. 5b, the inclined portion (16) is elastically deformed and the catch jaw (17) moves in the horizontal direction (the direction of the arrow in Fig. 5b). Accordingly, the insertion ball (21) passes through the catch jaw (17), and the connecting portion (22) having a smaller diameter than the insertion ball (21) faces the catch jaw (17), and the inclined portion (16) is elastically restored as shown in Fig. 5c, and the catch jaw (17) moves in the horizontal direction (arrow direction of Fig. 5c) again. At this time, since the distance between the catch jaws (17) is formed to be smaller than the diameter of the insertion ball (21) and the tent pole (20), the axial movement along the longitudinal direction of the tent pole (20) is restricted, and thus the end of the tent pole (20) can be fixed to the tent pole fixing unit (10).

[0043] Meanwhile, in order to disassemble the installed tent, even when the end of the tent pole (20) is pulled out from the mounting portion (11), the pair of fixing portions (12) can be elastically deformed in the horizontal direction. That is, when the tent pole (20) is pulled in the opposite direction of the insertion direction so that the insertion ball (21) comes into contact with the catch jaw (17) and a certain level or more of upward pulling force is applied to the catch jaw (17), the inclined portion (16) is elastically deformed and the catch jaw moves in the horizontal direction (opposite to the direction of the arrow in FIG. 5c). Accordingly, the insertion ball (21) passes the catch jaw (17), the inclined portion (16) is elastically restored again, and the catch jaw (17) moves in the horizontal direction (direction of the arrow in FIG. 5c). In this way, the user can easily separate the end of the tent pole (20) from the tent pole fixing unit (10), and the detachment of the tent pole (20) from the tent pole fixing unit (10) becomes easy.

[0044] Although the preferred embodiments of the present invention have been described above, the present invention is not limited thereto, and various modifications can be made within the scope of the claims, the detailed description of the invention, and the attached drawings, and it is obvious that this also falls within the scope of the present invention.
