Abstract
Description
[0001] AN ADHESIVE TRANSFER MACHINE AND ADHESIVE TRANSFER METHOD PERFORMED IN THE MACHINE
[0002] Technical Field
[0003] The invention relates to a machine designed to cleanly, quickly and easily transfer a special solid adhesive plastered on a thin material such as paper to the surface of the product intended to be adhered, and the adhesive transfer method performed in this machine.
[0004] State of the Art
[0005] It is known that there are various methods and machines developed for the adhering processes of various products in the shoe, saddlery (leather) and promotion industries. In the shoe industry, which is the field where the adhering process is used the most, the footbeds known as the insole lining are generally the most important part where the foot placed on the sole lining comes into contact with and feels cushioned and comfortable when stepping on it. Insole lining is the name given to the fabricated part of the shoe made of leather or fabric, non-leather materials such as synthetic products, usually labeled with the shoe brand. It is an element that is adhered to the insole of the shoe and comes into direct contact with the bottom of the human foot. In the state of the art, said footbeds are adhered to the insole after the shoe is removed from the mold. There are footbed types that fully cover the inside of the shoe or are cut in half. According to the style of the shoe; it is made of materials such as natural leathers, textiles, artificial materials, compressed sponge PU, Eva, latex and / or lamination of these. In the state of the art, for example, in the adhering applications of a footbed (insole lining) in the shoe industry, the product to be adhered needs applying the liquid adhesives to both surface areas to be adhered by hand with the help of a brush or by atomizing with an airbrush, or by manually or by automatically passing thereof through the chamber of double-roller simple machines where the liquid adhesive or a hotmelt (solid adhesive of wax base molten by heat of the machine) adhesive is picked up by the machine from its storage tank and applied to the surface of the material. Said processes create various health problems, especially due to the solvents secreted by liquid adhesives, and due to the fact that the adhesive is liquid, it dirties the applied product and the working area, and therefore requires re-cleaning. Therefore, the completion time of the process with the hand speed of the person performing the process is limited, and additional working personnel must be reinforced to this station to complete the process on time according to the workload. In cases where the product area or product edges are not flat (perforated, covered with various embroideries, lace, etc.), it is not possible to apply clean adhesive to these areas, and this process generally requires at least two more individuals to operate. Further, since liquid adhesive is applied by hand, airbrush or rollers, the thickness of the applied adhesive and its homogeneity on the surface cannot be controlled, which affects the drying time of the adhesive on the same surface and reduces the adhesive quality. Again, in these systems, the adhesion process can only be achieved by applying adhesive to both sides, and without waiting for the drying time (open time) of this adhesive, the adhering process of combining both surfaces to which the adhesive is applied cannot be performed.
[0006] In other alternative machine applications used in the state of the art, the process is carried out with 2 separate bands, an adhesive and an adhesive collecting band are used. The use of two separate bands in this process carried out in said machines prolongs the performance time of the process. Further, the use of more than one band increases the cost, creates excess waste material and causes halting of the process due to a problem that may occur in one of the bands. In the state of the art, in the machine applications developed for said adhesive application process, the thickness of the product and the variable thicknesses on the same product to which the adhesive is intended to be applied is limited. Machine settings need to be remade for products of different thicknesses, which leads to a loss of time. Further, there is a maximum thickness limit in these applications and this limits the scale of the products that can be used. In all of these adhering systems developed, there is difficulty regarding use when the process is performed. Usage of the machine and system outside the production line is not possible.
[0007] In the state of the art, in the Chinese document No. CN203457894 related to the machine developed to perform the adhering process in shoes, only the shoe sole adhering process can be performed with said machine. The adhering process required for such products in shoe insole (footbed) adhering and other sectors are not possible with this machine. Further, since liquid adhesive is used as an adhesive, it causes problems such as cleaning and health, and adjustments of for example adhesive thickness and amount cannot be controlled.
[0008] In the Chinese document No. CN106136464, which is another improvement in the state of the art, it is only a machine designed to adhere the intermediate sole, if there is an intermediate sole present in the shoe sole group as mentioned. Again, there are health and cleaning problems due to the use of liquid adhesive in said machine and method, and the thickness and weight of the adhesive cannot be controlled.
[0009] Therefore, it is necessary to develop a method that minimizes or eliminates the above- mentioned disadvantages in the state of the art and a system that works according to said method.
[0010] Summary of the Invention
[0011] One of the advantages of the invention is that since solid adhesive plastered on the band is used for adhesion, the problem of the solvent of the liquid adhesive being released and creating various health problems will be solved. This will ensure the occupational safety of the individuals who will carry out said application and prevent the environment from being covered with various chemical gases that adversely affect human health. In addition, a process that does not create air pollution, will emerge.
[0012] Another advantage of the invention is that instead of 2 personnel as in the state of the art, the process will be performed by a single personnel and the capacity of 2 personnel will be reached in a much shorter time. For example, in the case of the invention being used in the shoe industry, a single personnel will be able to make 500 pairs of footbeds adherable in an hour in the footbed adhesive application. This will allow both time and labor savings.
[0013] Another advantage of the invention is that by eliminating in said invention all problems such as the inability to achieve complete cleaning in liquid adhesive applications used in the state of the art, increasing of this problem in products with curved and protruding details, and the emergence of the need for re-cleaning after the process, by means of the adhesive plastered product acquiring the adhesive by contact, regardless of the shape of the product, it will be possible to apply the adhesive clearly and cleanly. Another advantage of the invention is that due to the property of solid adhesive, adhesive (material) savings can be achieved by applying the adhesion process only to one side. Further, the necessity of using the adhesive applied product only at the time of application will be eliminated and this adhesive applied product will be able to be used immediately and / or within a period of one year. Thanks to this feature, the product can be produced in as many numbers as desired, can be transferred to the locations where it is needed, and will be able to be stored by the user. Further, in other machine applications, the thickness of the product to which the adhesive is intended to be applied is limited. Machine settings need to be remade for products of different thicknesses, which leads to a loss of time. Further, as detailed in the state of the art, there is a maximum thickness limit in other applications. With the embodiment of said invention, the maximum thickness limit can be raised much higher without any machine adjustment.
[0014] The adhesive transfer machine of the invention, has been developed not only for insole lining adhering processes in the shoe industry, but also for use in every sector where it is needed, and there is no restriction regarding usage field.
