Abstract

The present invention relates to a mounting system for a side shelf (2) and a panel (1) wherein said side shelf (2) is enabled to be mounted to said panel (1) by engaging a rod (2.2) formed on a first vertical wire (2.1) in a hole (1.2) formed on a first side (1.1) and attaching a second vertical wire (2.3) to a tab (1.4) formed on a second side (1.3).

[0004] The invention relates to a mounting system for a side shelf and a panel, which is usable in cooking appliances.

[0005] More specifically, the invention relates to a system wherein a side shelf is enabled to be mounted to a panel by engaging a rod formed on a first vertical wire in a hole formed on a first side and attaching a second vertical wire to a tab formed on a second side.

[0007] A cooking appliance is a household device used for cooking or heating the food. Such appliances are generally used in the kitchens of the houses for the purpose of preparing (heating and cooking) the food. Cooking appliances have types such as gas- or electric-operated appliances, etc.

[0008] The side surfaces at the interior of the baking ovens, which are a type of cooking appliance, become dirty in the course of time, as a result of use. The user faces some problems when the user wants to clean the dirty side surfaces. Cleaning an interior side surface by the use of a chemical is undesirable for an oven, inside which the foods are cooked. On the other hand, it is not possible to hygienically clean the side surface if no chemical is used. In order to avoid this situation, it may be possible to add an extra panel on the side surfaces at the interior of the oven. This panel may be attached to the side surfaces of the oven by screwing the same. However, the solutions employing the screws are not preferred, as they offer a costly and complicated structure.

[0009] The screw structures are used also in the cases where it is desired to install a shelf on said panel. When the user wants to clean the panel, the user should dismantle first the shelf structure and then the screwed panel. Said cleaning process means a method that is far from being simple, requires labor, and is time-wasting.

[0010] EP2790549A1 discloses a fixing member positioned on a side shelf with a wire structure. Here, the fixing member is used to fix the pulling mechanisms. According to the document, the fixing members are enabled to be connected with the side shelf by passing a wire present in said side shelf through two such fixing members. Here, a complex structure, which is far from being simple, is involved. EP1840473A2 discloses the design and operation of a telescopic extension mechanism used inside a domestic appliance. The telescopic extension mechanism includes a holding rail that supports a shelf section and a running rail that enables said shelf section to be pulled out. However, the document does not disclose the attachment of a panel, which is disposed on an interior side surface of an oven, to a side shelf.

[0011] EP2226566A2 discloses a pyrolytic baking oven structure with the feature of pyrolytic cleaning, which is a method where the food residues and grease accumulating inside the oven are removed by burning off the same at an elevated temperature. The document discloses a holding element, which is mounted to the side walls to hold a baking tray and further discloses the ability to dismount said holding elements during the pyrolytic cleaning process.

[0012] Consequently, considering the prior art and the mentioned drawbacks, there is a need for a design whereby the side shelves and the panel may be readily assembled, the assembled structure may be mounted and dismounted in a practical manner, and the cleaning may thus be achieved easily.

[0014] An object of the invention is to enable a connection to be achieved between a side shelf and a panel.

[0015] Another object of the invention is to enable a connection to be achieved between a side shelf and a panel without the need to use any screw structure.

[0016] Another object of the invention is to enable the structure formed by the connection between said side shelf and side panel to be easily mounted to and dismounted from the side surfaces inside a cooking appliance.

[0017] Another object of the invention is to enable the cleaning of said side shelf-panel structure to be performed somewhere outside the cooking appliance, owing to the ability of the assembled side shelf-panel structure to be easily mounted to and dismounted from the side surfaces inside said cooking appliance.

[0038] Detailed Description of the Invention

[0039] The invention relates to a mounting system for a side shelf (2) and a panel (1), said mounting system being intended to enable the side surfaces of a cooking appliance to be cleaned easily by enabling a panel (1 ), which is positioned into said cooking appliance, and a side shelf (2), which is positioned on said panel (1), to be connected. The cooking appliances (baking ovens, etc.) may become dirty in the course of time, due to the use. Some panel (1 ) structures may be fitted on the side surfaces of a cooking appliance, in order to enable the easy cleaning of said cooking appliance. Here, the goal is to provide a dismountable structure to thereby enable the cleaning process, which is difficult to perform inside the cooking appliance, to be achieved outside said cooking appliance.

[0040] In the process of manufacturing a cooking appliance, said panel (1) structures are mounted to the side surfaces of said cooking appliance, and then, the side shelf (2) structures are mounted on said panels (1). Said mounting processes are performed by way of screwing. In the case where the cooking appliance has become dirty, a user wishing to perform the cleaning process dismounts first the side shelf (2) and then the panel (1). Here, the process for removing the screws takes time and causes extra labor. In order to preclude the above-mentioned drawbacks, the present invention enables a panel (1) and a side shelf (2) positioned on said panel (1) to be connected / joined outside the cooking appliance. Said assembled structure (panel (1)-side shelf (2)) is then fitted on a side surface inside the cooking appliance. In this way, the side surfaces inside the cooking appliance are prevented from becoming dirty, and it becomes possible to take the dirty assembled structure out of the cooking appliance in one move. The parts taken out of the cooking appliance may be cleaned either by uncoupling or without uncoupling the same, depending on the preference.

[0041] The present invention basically consists of the structures of a panel (1) and a side shelf (2). Said panel (1 ) comprises the structures of a first side (1.1), a hole (1.2), a second side (1.3), and a tab (1 .4). Said side shelf (2) comprises the structures of a first vertical wire (2.1), a rod (2.2), a second vertical wire (2.3), a horizontal wire (2.4), and a holding wire (2.5).

[0042] Said panel (1) is configured with a geometry compatible with the side surfaces inside the cooking appliance, in a way to cover said side surfaces. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, said panel (1) has a special enamel coating structure so that the dirt accumulated on said panel (1) can be removed by way of burning off said dirt. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, said panel (1 ) has a quadrilateral geometry with a gap in the middle. The structure of said panel (1 ) may be altered according to the preference and the need. The structure of said panel (1 ) has four sides. Since customized structures are provided on two of these sides, said two sides are referred to as a first side (1.1) and a second side (1.3), respectively. Said first side (1.1) refers to the vertical side near the door of the cooking appliance when the panel (1) is positioned into said cooking appliance. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, there are two holes (1.2) on said first side (1.1 ). More specifically, the hole (1.2) is disposed on said first side (1.1) in a way that it is located near the right and the left of said first side (1.1) and enables the rod (2.2), which is configured as an extension on the first vertical wire (2.1) of said side shelf (2), to be engaged via close fit. The close fit action enables the side shelf (2) to be fastened / fixed to the panel (1 ). Said second side (1.3) refers to the side that is parallel to said first side (1.1). In a preferred embodiment of the invention, there are two tabs (1 .4) on said second side (1 .3). In a preferred embodiment of the invention, said tabs (1 .4) are each configured as an extension with a “c”-shaped geometry. Said tabs (1.4) enable the side shelf (2) to be fastened by pressing said second vertical wire (2.3). More specifically, the tab (1.4) is configured as an extension with a “c”-shaped geometry on said second side (1.3), is disposed such that it is located near the right and the left of said second side (1 .3), and enables the second vertical wire (2.3) of the side shelf (2) to be fastened by way of getting caught on said extension with “c”-shaped geometry.

[0043] Said side shelf (2) refers to a shelf structure, which has a wire structure and is capable of supporting various components (e.g., a baking tray). Said side shelf (2) is formed by joining a certain number of horizontal wires (2.4), which are parallel to one another, between two vertical wires (2.1 , 2.3). In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the formed structure of the side shelf (2) has a quadrilateral geometry and has the dimensions corresponding to those of the panel (1), wherein there are two rods (2.2) on said first vertical wire (2.1). Said rod (2.2) is configured on the first vertical wire (2.1), in the form of an extension perpendicular to said first vertical wire (2.1) and at locations near the top and bottom of said first vertical wire (2.1). Said rod (2.2), by engaging the holes (1.2) on said first side (1.1) in a close fit manner, enables the side shelf (2) to be fastened to the panel (1). Optionally, a holding wire (2.5) may be provided in the structure of the side shelf (2). Said holding wire (2.5) has curves arranged to form in its middle section a protrusion shorter than the length of said holding wire (2.5). [0044] (2.3) in a way to be parallel to said second vertical wire (2.3). Here, the holding wire (2.5) is intended to get caught in a corresponding structure to thereby enable the assembled structure of panel (1 )-side shelf (2) to be mounted to the side surface inside the cooking appliance.

Claims

CLAIMS1. A mounting system for a side shelf (2) and a panel (1 ), said mounting system being intended to enable side surfaces of a cooking appliance to be cleaned easily by enabling a panel (1), which is positioned into said cooking appliance, and a side shelf (2), which is positioned on said panel (1), to be connected characterized in that, in order to enable said side shelf (2) to be connected to said panel (1), said panel (1 ) comprises the components of- at least one hole (1.2), which is disposed on a first side (1.1) in a way that it is located near right and left of said first side (1.1 ) and which enables a rod (2.2), configured as an extension on a first vertical wire (2.1 ) of said side shelf (2), to be engaged via close fit, and- at least one tab (1.4), which is configured as an extension with a “c”-shaped geometry on a second side (1.3), is disposed such that it is located near right and left of said second side (1 .3) and enables a second vertical wire (2.3) of said side shelf (2) to be fastened by way of getting caught on said extension with “c”-shaped geometry.

The mounting system for a side shelf (2) and a panel (1) according to Claim 1 characterized in that the mounting process comprises the steps of aligning said panel (1 ) with said side shelf (2), pressing said second vertical wire (2.3) on said tabs (1.4) on said second side (1.3), and engaging said rods (2.2) on said first vertical wire (2.1) in said holes (1 .2) on said first side (1 .1 ) in a close fit manner.

3. The mounting system for a side shelf (2) and a panel (1) according to Claim 1 characterized in that said panel (1 ) comprises at least one first side (1.1) and at least one second side (1 .3).

4. The mounting system for a side shelf (2) and a panel (1) according to Claim 1 characterized in that said side shelf (2) comprises at least one first vertical wire (2.1), at least one second vertical wire (2.3), and at least one horizontal wire (2.4).

5. The mounting system for a side shelf (2) and a panel (1 ) according to Claims 1 and 3 characterized in that said first side (1.1) comprises at least one hole (1.2) and said second side (1 .3) comprises at least one tab (1 .4).

6. The mounting system for a side shelf (2) and a panel (1 ) according to Claims 1 and 4 characterized in that said first vertical wire (2.1) comprises at least one rod (2.2) configured as an extension.
