[0003] JP 2013-94395 A

[0004] With hanging volatilization devices, the vaporized pesticide spreads not only in all directions, but also downwards. For example, air convection from below the device can promote the vaporization of the pesticide, and it has been found that compared to stationary volatilization devices, more pesticide is consumed and the duration of the effect is shorter.

[0005] The present invention aims to provide a volatilization device that can extend the duration of a chemical agent even when it is a hanging type compared to when it is installed.

[0006] Item 1. A volatilization device comprising: a housing having at least one vent hole formed on the front or back surface; a drug container having a container body in which a liquid drug is contained and an opening formed therein, and a volatilization film that closes the opening; and a hook for hanging the housing, wherein the drug container is contained in the housing so that the volatilization film faces the vent hole, and when the housing is hung from an object via the hook, the contact area between the drug and the volatilization film is smaller than when the housing is placed on a mounting surface.

[0007] Item 2. The volatilization device according to Item 1, wherein the vent hole is formed on the back surface of the housing, and the hook is attached to the housing on the back side of the opening of the drug container.

[0008] Item 3. The volatilization device according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the hook is configured to be movable relative to the housing so that an attachment angle with respect to the vertical direction can be changed.

[0009] Item 4. The volatilization device according to any one of Items 1 to 3, wherein the hooks are attached near both sides of the housing.

[0010] Item 5. The volatilization device according to any one of Items 1 to 4, wherein the housing has a windbreak below the ventilation opening, and the windbreak is configured to prevent air from below the housing from entering the ventilation opening.

[0011] Item 6. The volatilization device according to any one of Items 1 to 5, wherein the hook has a hanging portion configured to be hooked onto an object, and an attachment portion connected to a lower end of the hanging portion and attached to the housing, and the hanging portion and the attachment portion are configured to be rotatable relative to each other around an axis extending in the vertical direction.

[0012] According to the chemical vaporization device of the present invention, even though it is a hanging type, it is possible to extend the duration of the chemical vapor compared to a fixed type.

[0014] <1. Overall Configuration of the Volatilization Device> The volatilization device 1 according to this embodiment is a device that volatilizes a chemical 1Y and diffuses the chemical 1Y in a space in which the volatilization device 1 is placed. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the volatilization device seen from the front, and FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the volatilization device seen from the back. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the volatilization device 1 includes a housing 2, a movable body 3 that is movable relative to the housing 2, a chemical container 4 housed in the housing 2, and a hook 5 for hanging the housing 2. Each component will be described in detail below.

[0015] <1-1. Drug container> Fig. 3 is a perspective view of the drug container, Fig. 4 is an exploded view of the drug container, and Fig. 5 is a cross-sectional view of the drug container. As shown in Figs. 3 and 4, the drug container 4 includes a container body 41, a lid 44, and a plate member 45, and contains the drug 1Y. These members will be described below.

[0016] <1-1-1. Chemical> Chemical 1Y is a volatile liquid chemical 1Y. There are no particular limitations on the chemical 1Y, and examples thereof include fragrances, deodorants, insect repellents, and mixtures thereof. Chemical 1Y also contains additives depending on the purpose. Examples of additives include fragrances, deodorant components, insect repellent components, and coloring agents.

[0017] 3 and 4, the container body 41 is a portion that constitutes the main body of the drug container 4. The container body 41 is made of a hard resin. There are no particular limitations on the resin, and examples include polyethylene terephthalate, polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, polycarbonate, acrylic, polyvinyl chloride, and laminates thereof. In this embodiment, the container body 41 is made of a laminate of polyethylene terephthalate and polyethylene.

[0018] The container body 41 according to this embodiment is made of a transparent resin so that the remaining amount of the drug 1Y can be visually confirmed. The term "transparent" as used herein means that the remaining amount of the drug 1Y can be visually confirmed, and includes so-called translucency. Note that in the present invention, the container body 41 may also be made of an opaque material.

[0019] The container body 41 includes a storage section 42 and a flange section 43. The storage section 42 is a portion of the container body 41 where the drug 1Y is stored. The storage section 42 is formed in a container shape with an opening on one side. As shown in FIG. 5 , the storage section 42 includes a drug storage section 421 and a plate storage section 422.

[0020] The agent storage portion 421 is a portion that mainly stores the agent 1Y. As shown in FIG. 5 , the agent storage portion 421 includes a bottom wall 4211 that is generally rectangular in plan view and a first side wall 4212 that rises from the outer periphery of the bottom wall 4211. The plate material storage portion 422 is a portion that stores the plate member 45 and is formed between the agent storage portion 421 and the flange portion 43. The plate material storage portion 422 includes a support portion 4221 that connects to the first side wall 4212 of the agent storage portion 421 and a second side wall 4222 that rises from the outer periphery of the support portion 4221. The end of the second side wall 4222 on the flange portion 43 side forms an opening surface of the storage portion 42.

[0021] The flange portion 43 is a portion to which the lid body 44 is joined. The flange portion 43 is provided along the entire outer periphery of the opening surface of the storage portion 42. The surface of the flange portion 43 to which the lid body 44 is joined (sometimes referred to as the "joining surface 431") is flat. The entire joining surface 43 is located on the same plane.

[0022] <1-1-3. Lid> Lid 44 is joined to flange 43 by welding so as to close the opening surface of container body 41, but may also be joined by adhesive or the like. Lid 44 is flexible and includes rupture membrane 441 and volatilization membrane 442. Lid 44 is arranged in this order from the inside to the outside of drug container 4, rupture membrane 441 and volatilization membrane 442. The allowable dimension for the gap between rupture membrane 441 and volatilization membrane 442 (i.e., the dimension when the membranes are close to each other) is 1 mm or less.

[0023] The rupture film 441 is configured to rupture with a smaller elongation amount than the volatilization film 442 when an external force (pressure) is applied to the volatilization film 442 from the outside in the thickness direction of the lid body 44. The rupture film 441 is made of a liquid-impermeable material. The rupture film 441 may be, for example, a thin film formed by laminating a polyethylene layer, an aluminum layer, and a polyethylene terephthalate layer.

[0024] The volatilization membrane 442 volatilizes the drug 1Y while retaining the drug 1Y that has passed through holes (rupture holes) formed in the rupture membrane 441. The volatilization membrane 442 is disposed on the outer surface of the rupture membrane 441 (the surface of the rupture membrane 441 opposite the container body 41 in the thickness direction). The volatilization membrane 442 is less likely to rupture than the volatilization membrane 442 when an external force is applied to the volatilization membrane 442 from the outside in the thickness direction of the lid 44. Examples of the volatilization membrane 442 include porous films such as Teslin (trademark) and Daramic (trademark).

[0025] In the lid 44 according to this embodiment, the rupture film 441 is joined to a portion of the inner edge of the joining surface 431 of the flange portion 43, and the volatilization film 442 is joined to a portion of the flange portion 43 that is closer to the outer edge than the joining portion of the rupture film 441. This allows the rupture film 441 to be joined to the flange portion 43 first, and then the volatilization film 442 to be joined, making it less likely that poor joining will occur. When joining by welding, it is only necessary to provide a welding layer on only one side of the thickness direction of the rupture film 441, which also improves manufacturability.

[0026] <1-1-4. Plate Member> The plate member 45 is a member for partially preventing the extension of the lid body 44 when an external force is applied to the lid body 44. The plate member 45 makes it easier for the rupture film 441 to rupture when an external force is applied. As shown in FIG. 3 , the plate member 45 is formed in a substantially rectangular plate shape. There are no particular restrictions on the material of the plate member 45, and examples include polypropylene, polyethylene terephthalate, polyethylene, polystyrene, polycarbonate, acrylic, polyvinyl chloride, and laminates thereof.

[0027] A plurality of (here, two) through holes 451 are formed in the plate member 45. The plurality of through holes 451 are formed at both longitudinal end portions of the plate member 45. The through holes 451 are formed at positions corresponding to portions to which an external force is to be applied.

[0028] <1-2. Housing> As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the housing 2 forms the outer shell of the volatilization device 1. The housing 2 includes a main body 21 and legs 22. The front and back surfaces of the main body 21 are inclined relative to the horizontal plane. Here, when the main body 21 is viewed in a direction perpendicular to the front surface of the main body 21 (this is referred to as the "front view" of the main body 21), the direction parallel to the left-right direction is defined as the "width direction," and the direction perpendicular to the width direction is defined as the "length direction." Furthermore, the direction perpendicular to the width direction and the length direction (i.e., the direction perpendicular to the front surface of the main body 21) is defined as the "thickness direction." In the following description, the length direction of the main body 21 will be simply referred to as the "length direction." The width direction of the housing 2 will be simply referred to as the "width direction." The thickness direction of the housing 2 will be simply referred to as the "thickness direction."

[0029] The main body 21 is formed in a flat box shape, and is generally rectangular in front view. "Flat" here means a shape in which the thickness dimension is shorter than the width and length dimensions. The length direction is inclined with respect to the lower surfaces of the legs 22 (sometimes referred to as the bottom of the housing 2) that rest on the mounting surface 1G. The angle between the length direction and the lower surfaces of the legs 22 (the angle in side view) is, for example, 45° or more and less than 90°.

[0030] Fig. 6 is an exploded view of the housing. As shown in Fig. 6, the housing 2 includes a frame 23 that forms the legs 22 and the rear and side surfaces of the main body 21, and a cover 29 that forms the front of the main body 21. The housing 2 is formed into a hollow shape by assembling the frame 23 and the cover 29. There are no particular limitations on the material of the housing 2, and examples include synthetic resin, metal, pulp, carbon, and ceramic.

[0031] <1-2-1. Frame> Figure 7 is a perspective view showing the assembly of the frame and the movable body. The frame 23 is a part that forms the skeleton of the housing 2. The frame 23 is formed in the shape of a container with an opening on the front surface in the thickness direction. The frame 23 includes a back plate portion 24 and side plate portions 28.

[0032] The back plate 24 constitutes the back surface of the main body 21. The back plate 24 is inclined with respect to the horizontal plane, and the main surface of the back plate 24 faces in the thickness direction. As shown in Fig. 7 , the back plate 24 includes a plurality of ventilation holes 25 and an attachment portion 26.

[0033] The vent 25 is an opening through which the drug 1Y vaporized from the drug container 4 passes. The vent 25 penetrates the back plate 24. The multiple vents 25 are formed in a portion of the back plate 24 other than the central portion (i.e., the mounting portion 26). The shape of each vent 25 is rectangular, triangular, trapezoidal, or the like depending on the location, but is not limited thereto and may also be circular, elliptical, pentagonal, hexagonal, mesh-like, or the like.

[0034] The mounting portion 26 is a portion for mounting the movable body 3. The mounting portion 26 is configured as a portion that occupies a range at the center in the width direction and the center in the length direction of the back plate portion 24. As shown in FIG. 7A , the mounting portion 26 includes an operation portion opening 261, a pair of holding portions 262, a plurality of guide portions 263, and a vibration portion 27.

[0035] The operation unit opening 261 is an opening through which the operation unit 31 of the movable body 3 passes. The operation unit opening 261 is formed in a substantially rectangular shape. The operation unit 31, which will be described later, passes through the operation unit opening 261 from the inside to the outside of the housing 2 and is exposed from the housing 2. Within the operation unit opening 261, the operation unit 31 can move along the thickness direction.

[0036] The holding portion 262 is a portion that holds a part of the elastic portion 33 of the movable body 3 on the mounting portion 26. As described above, the movable body 3 can move along the thickness direction, but the elastic portion 33 is held by the holding portion 262, so that the range of movement of the movable body 3 is restricted to a certain range. The operation of the elastic portion 33 will be described later.

[0037] 7A, the pair of holding portions 262 are spaced apart in the lengthwise direction. In the volatilization device 1 according to this embodiment, the pair of holding portions 262 are formed at positions corresponding to both ends of the movable body 3 in the longitudinal direction (length direction). However, the pair of holding portions 262 may also be spaced apart in the widthwise direction, in which case they should be formed at positions corresponding to both ends of the movable body 3 in the short direction.

[0038] In this embodiment, each holding portion 262 is configured by a hook-shaped claw that holds a part of the elastic portion 33 so as not to move in the thickness direction. However, the holding portion 262 is not limited to a claw, and may be configured by, for example, welding, pinning, screwing, or a bearing with a C-shaped cross section.

[0039] The mounting portion 26 has an operating portion opening 261, a pair of holding portions 262, as well as multiple guide portions 263 and a vibration portion 27, but the guide portions 263 will be explained after the movable body 3 is explained.

[0040] The side plate portion 28 is a portion that protrudes in the thickness direction from the outer periphery of the back plate portion 24. The protruding tip of the side plate portion 28 forms the opening surface of the frame 23. The side plate portion 28 forms the side peripheral surface of the housing 2. In the volatilization device 1 according to this embodiment, the side plate portion 28 does not have an air vent 25 formed therein, but an air vent 25 may be formed therein.

[0041] <1-2-2. Cover> Cover 29 is a member that closes the opening on the front side of frame 23. As shown in Fig. 6, cover 29 closes the opening side of frame 23 with movable body 3 and drug container 4 housed within frame 23. Cover 29 has a remaining amount display window 291 through which the remaining amount of drug 1Y in drug container 4 can be visually confirmed. Remaining amount display window 291 is composed of a through-hole 294 that is formed in the main body of cover 29 and extends in the length direction, and a transparent plate 293 that covers through-hole 294. Through-hole 294 is formed at a position corresponding to the drug container 4 housed inside housing 2.

[0042] <1-3. Movable body> Figure 8 is a perspective view of the movable body, and Figure 9 is a cross-sectional view showing the operation of the movable body in the volatilization device. As shown in Figure 9, the movable body 3 is a member that is movably provided with respect to the housing 2. That is, the operating unit 31 is configured to be movable between an initial position (a position where the movable unit 32 abuts the back plate portion 24; see Figure 9 (A)) and a position where the movable unit 32 opens the drug container 4 (see Figure 9 (B)). In this embodiment, within the movement range of the operating unit 31, the initial position is defined as a "first position," and the position where the movable unit 32 opens the drug container 4 is defined as a "second position."

[0043] 8, the movable body 3 includes an operating portion 31, a movable portion 32, and a pair of elastic portions 33. In this embodiment, the operating portion 31, the movable portion 32, and the elastic portions 33 are integrally molded. There are no particular limitations on the material of the movable body 3, and examples thereof include synthetic resin, metal, pulp, and carbon.

[0044] <1-3-1. Operation Unit> The operation unit 31 is a part that is operated by the user. As described above, the operation unit 31 is exposed from the housing 2 through the operation unit opening 261 in the back plate 24 of the housing 2. The operation unit 31 according to this embodiment is movable from a first position to a second position along the thickness direction. When the user presses the operation unit 31 in the first position toward the housing 2, the movable body 3 can be moved.

[0045] 8B, the operating unit 31 protrudes from the movable unit 32 toward the rear side in the thickness direction. The operating unit 31 is formed in a rectangular parallelepiped shape, but may have various shapes, such as a cylindrical shape, a columnar shape, a hemispherical shape, a truncated cone shape, or a truncated pyramid shape.

[0046] <1-3-2. Movable portion> The movable portion 32 is a portion that constitutes the main body of the movable body 3. The movable portion 32 moves integrally with the operating portion 31. The movable portion 32 is formed in an oval shape having a long axis (in other words, a "longitudinal axis") parallel to the lengthwise direction. As shown in FIG. 8A , the movable portion 32 includes a plurality of (here, two) protruding portions 321 formed at intervals along the longitudinal axis, and a pair of guided portions 322 spaced apart along a short axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis.

[0047] As shown in FIG. 9(A), when the operating unit 31 is in the first position, each of the protruding portions 321 is separated from the drug container 4. On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 9(B), when the operating unit 31 is moved to the second position, each of the protruding portions 321 opens a hole in the drug container 4 to open the drug container 4. As shown in FIG. 8(A), the plurality of protruding portions 321 are formed at both ends of the movable portion 32 in the direction along the longitudinal axis. Each of the protruding portions 321 protrudes from the surface on the first position side in the movement direction of the movable portion 32. Examples of the shape of each of the protruding portions 321 include a spindle shape (cone shape, pyramid shape), a needle shape, a rod shape, etc., but a cone shape is preferable.

[0048] The multiple protrusions 321 are spaced apart in the longitudinal direction (i.e., lengthwise direction) of the movable part 32. As a result, as shown in FIG. 9 , holes can be drilled above and below the center of the drug container 4, allowing holes to be drilled in both the gas phase and the liquid phase within the drug container 4. As a result, the upper holes of the multiple holes can be used as air intake holes, and the lower holes can be used as drug passage holes. Therefore, the drug container 4 can easily eject the drug 1Y and maintain a stable volatilization rate of the drug 1Y. It is preferable that the lower protrusions 321 of the protrusions 321 aligned in the longitudinal direction of the movable part 32 be drilled as close as possible to the opening edge of the container body 41.

[0049] 8A, the guided portion 322 is a portion that fits into the guide portion 263 and is guided by the guide portion 263. The guided portion 322 according to this embodiment is configured with a pair of concave grooves 3221 that are spaced apart in the short axis direction (width direction). Each groove 3221 extends along the movement direction (thickness direction) of the movable portion 32. The opening surfaces of the pair of grooves 3221 face in opposite directions.

[0050] <1-3-3. Elastic Portion> The pair of elastic portions 33 are portions that connect the movable portion 32 and the housing 2. As shown in FIG. 8A , the elastic portion 33 is composed of an arc portion 331 and a pair of arm portions 332 extending from both ends of the arc portion 331, and is formed into a substantially U-shape. As shown in FIG. 7B , the arc portion 331 is a portion that is held by the holding portion 262 of the housing 2. As shown in FIG. 8B , the arm portion 332 connects the arc portion 331 and the movable portion 32. The arc portion 331 is disposed with a gap between it and the edge of the movable portion 32 in the longitudinal axis direction. The pair of arm portions 332 are disposed with a gap between them and the edge of the movable portion 32 in the short axis direction. The end of the arm portion 332 on the opposite side of the longitudinal direction from the arc portion 331 is connected to the center of the movable portion 32 in the longitudinal axis direction.

[0051] The connection portions of the pair of elastic portions 33 to the movable portion 32 are spaced apart from each other in the longitudinal axis direction. Here, the guided portion 322 is disposed between the connection portions.

[0052] When the movable body 3 is attached to the attachment portion 26 of the frame 23, the operation portion 31 is located in the first position, as shown in FIG. 10(A). When an external force is applied to the operation portion 31 (i.e., when the operation portion 31 is pushed into the housing 2) while the operation portion 31 is located in the first position, the elastic portion 33 is elastically deformed, as shown in FIG. 10(B). The movable portion 32 moves in conjunction with the operation portion 31 moving from the first position to the second position (FIG. 10(A) → FIG. 10(B)). In this state, when the external force applied to the operation portion 31 is removed, the elastic portion 33 returns to its original state. The movable portion 32 returns in conjunction with the operation portion 31 moving from the second position to the first position (FIG. 10(B) → FIG. 10(A)).

[0053] <1-4. Guide Portion> As shown in FIG. 11A , when the movable body 3 is attached to the frame 23, the guided portion 322 of the movable body 3 fits into the guide 265 of the guide portion 263. The guide portion 263 is formed on the frame 23 and fits into a portion (the guided portion 322) of the movable portion 32 to guide the movement of the movable portion 32. This allows the movable portion 32 to move in parallel when the operating unit 31 moves between the first position and the second position. As shown in FIG. 11A , the multiple guide portions 263 are spaced apart in the width direction and formed on both sides of the operating unit opening 261. As shown in FIG. 11 , each guide portion 263 includes an upright wall 264, a guide 265, and a stopper 266.

[0054] The upright wall 264 rises in the thickness direction from the front surface of the back plate portion 24. The upright wall 264 is formed along both side portions in the width direction of the opening periphery of the operation portion opening 261.

[0055] The guide 265 fits into a guided portion 322 formed on the movable portion 32, and guides the movement of the movable portion 32. The guide 265 is composed of a protrusion 2651 extending along the movement direction of the movable portion 32. Here, the guide 265 is composed of one protrusion 2651, but it may be composed of a plurality of protrusions 2651.

[0056] The guide 265 fits into a groove 3221 (guided portion 322) formed in the movable portion 32. In the present embodiment, both the protrusion 2651 (guide 265) and the groove 3221 (guided portion 322) extend along the movement direction of the movable portion 32, and therefore the movable portion 32 can achieve stable translation when moving along the direction from the first direction to the second direction.

[0057] When the operating unit 31 moves to the second position, the stopper 266 prevents the movable unit 32 from moving further. As shown in FIG. 11A, the stopper 266 is configured with a claw formed at the protruding tip of the upright wall 264. When the movable unit 32 moves to the second position, the stopper 266 comes into contact with a part of the movable unit 32 (a restricting surface 3222) as shown in FIG. 11B. This restricts further movement of the movable unit 32 even if the operating unit 31 is pushed in.

[0058] <1-5. Hook> <1-5-1. Hook Structure> Figure 12 is a front view of the hook. The hook 5 is used to hang the volatilization device 1. As shown in Figure 12, the hook 5 has a hanging portion 51 made of a plate material and configured to be hooked onto the target object 6, and an attachment portion 52 connected to the lower end of the hanging portion 51 and attached to the housing 2. The material from which the hook 5 is formed is not particularly limited, but it can be formed from, for example, a plate-shaped paper or a resin material. Furthermore, in Figure 12, the target object 6 is a cylindrical member, but is not limited thereto, and its shape is not particularly limited as long as it is a member that protrudes from a wall surface or the like.

[0059] The hanging unit 51 includes a first main body 511 formed in an arc shape having a first end 5111 and a second end 5112, and a first connecting unit 512 connected to the second end 5112 of the first main body 511. The first main body 511 is formed in an arc shape such that the central angle between the first end 5111 and the second end 5112 is approximately 270 degrees, and the second end 5112 is located at the lower end of the first main body 511. Therefore, the object 6 to be hung can be inserted into the internal space of the first main body 511 through the gap between the first end 5111 and the second end 5112. However, the central angle of the first main body 511 is not particularly limited.

[0060] The first connecting portion 512 is formed in a rectangular shape and extends downward from the second end portion 5112 of the first main body portion 511 .

[0061] The mounting portion 52 has a second connecting portion 521 connected to the first connecting portion 512, a second main body portion 522 connected to the lower end of the second connecting portion 521, and a pair of engaging portions 523 connected to both ends of the second main body portion 522. The left side edge (first end side) of the first connecting portion 512 and the right side edge of the second connecting portion 521 are foldably connected. Therefore, the boundary between the first connecting portion 512 and the second connecting portion 521 forms a fold line 53 extending in the vertical direction.

[0062] The second main body portion is formed in a rectangular shape extending horizontally, and the second connecting portion 521 extends upward from near the center of the second main body portion 522. The engaging portions 523 extend downward from both ends of the second main body portion 522, and protrusions 524 facing each other are formed on the inside of the engaging portions 523. Each protrusion 524 is formed in a triangular shape when viewed from the front, and is configured to engage with the ventilation opening 25 of the frame 23.

[0063] <1-5-2. How to Use the Hook> The hook 5 configured as described above is attached to the housing 2 as follows. As shown in FIG. 13 , arc-shaped ventilation holes 25a are formed on both sides of the upper end of the frame 23 of the housing 2. The engaging portions 523 of the hook 5 are inserted into each ventilation hole 25a from above. At this time, the hook 5 is deformed, and each protrusion 524 is pushed inward beyond the inner edge of each ventilation hole 25a. As a result, as shown in FIG. 14 , each protrusion 524 engages with the inner edge of the ventilation hole 25a, and the protrusions 524 act as retainers, suspending the housing 2 from the hook 5. Note that the outer edges of the ventilation holes 25a formed on both sides of the housing 2 are located forward of the inner edges. Therefore, these ventilation holes 25a extend slightly forward and backward, allowing the mounting portions 52 of the hook 5 to tilt within the ventilation holes 25a.

[0064] 2. Overall Configuration of the Volatilization Device The volatilization device 1 configured as described above operates as follows with respect to the drug container 4. As shown in FIG. 9 , when the operating unit 31 moves from the first position to the second position, the plunger 321 pushes the volatilization membrane 442. The plunger 321 then pushes the rupture membrane 441. At this time, the volatilization membrane 442 and the rupture membrane 441 stretch, but the rupture membrane 441 ruptures first, creating a hole in the rupture membrane 441 (FIG. 9(A) → (B)). After this, when the external force on the operating unit 31 is removed, the elastic portion 33 returns the operating unit 31 from the second position to the first position, and the movable portion 32 and the plunger 321 move away from the volatilization membrane 442.

[0065] In this way, the drug 1Y in the drug container 4 is released to the outside through the lower hole. The drug 1Y penetrates the volatilization membrane 442 and volatilizes. When the drug 1Y is released to the outside, the pressure inside the container is reduced, and air is drawn in through the upper hole. This allows the drug container 4 to maintain a stable amount of volatilization of the drug 1Y.

[0066] Next, as shown in Fig. 14, a hook 5 is attached to the housing 2, and then the hook 5 is hung from the object 6 as shown in Fig. 15. The chemical 1Y is then evaporated from the volatilization film 442 and flows out of the volatilization device 1 through the vent 25. In this way, the evaporated chemical 1Y can be diffused within the space in which it is installed. Note that for ease of explanation, Fig. 15 and Figs. 16 and 17, which will be described later, show a cross section of the chemical container 4 through the housing 2.

[0067] 3. Features According to this embodiment, the following effects can be obtained. (1) As shown in Fig. 16, when the volatilization device 1 is placed on a horizontal mounting surface 1G, the housing 2 is tilted backward relative to the mounting surface 1G, and therefore the drug container 4 is also tilted backward relative to the mounting surface 1G. As a result, the liquid surface of the drug 1Y in the drug container 4 is tilted relative to the volatilization film 442 of the drug container 4 (the angle between the liquid surface of the drug 1Y and the volatilization film 442 is an acute angle). At this time, the vertical length of the area where the drug 1Y and the volatilization film 442 contact each other is defined as L1.

[0068] In the volatilization device 1 according to this embodiment, the center of gravity of the entire device excluding the hook 5 is located at the bottom of the housing 2, and the hook 5 is tiltably attached to the upper end of the rear surface of the housing 2 (behind the opening of the drug container 4). Therefore, as shown in FIG. 15 , when the housing 2 is hung from the object 6, the housing 2 and the drug container 4 are positioned so as to tilt slightly forward. This results in an obtuse angle between the liquid surface of the drug 1Y in the drug container 4 and the volatilization film 442, and the vertical length L2 of the contact area between the drug 1Y and the volatilization film 442 is shorter than the aforementioned length L1. Therefore, the contact area between the drug 1Y and the volatilization film 442 is smaller than when the housing 2 is placed on the mounting surface 1G as shown in FIG. 16 . As a result, the amount of drug 1Y volatilized from the volatilization film 422 is reduced, thereby extending the duration of the drug 1Y's effect.

[0069] (2) As shown in Figure 15, when the housing 2 is suspended, the legs 22 extend rearward from the lower end of the main body 21 of the frame 23, preventing air flowing toward the housing 2 from below from hitting the legs 22 and entering the ventilation openings 25. This extends the duration of the effect of the chemical 1Y. Therefore, the legs 22 constitute the windbreak of the present invention.

[0070] (3) The first connecting portion 512 of the hanging portion 51 of the hook 5 and the second connecting portion 521 of the mounting portion 52 are connected via a bending line 53 extending in the vertical direction. Therefore, by changing the angle between the first connecting portion 512 and the second connecting portion 521 via the bending line 53, it is possible to change the angle of the housing 2 relative to the object 6 while the volatilization device 1 is hanging from the object 6, as shown in Fig. 17. This makes it possible to change the orientation of the air vent 25 and improve the degree of freedom in installing the volatilization device 1 despite spatial limitations at the installation location.

[0071] (4) Because the ventilation hole 25a formed near the side end of the housing 2 also extends in the front-to-rear direction, when the plate-shaped hook 5 is attached, the hook 5 can be attached so as to be tiltable in the front-to-rear direction. Therefore, as described above, when the housing 2 is hung by the hook 5, it can be tilted forward, thereby reducing the contact area between the drug 1Y and the volatilization film 422. In addition, because the hook 5 is attached to the upper end of the housing 2, there is an advantage in that the angle of the housing 2 can be easily changed depending on the placed state.

[0072] (5) The hook 5 is attached to the ventilation hole 25a formed near the side of the housing 2, and is therefore separated from the drug container 4. This prevents the drug 1Y leaking from the drug container 4 from coming into contact with the hook 5. In particular, if the hook 5 is made of paper, it may tear if the drug 1Y comes into contact with it. Therefore, this configuration prevents the hook 5 from being damaged.

[0073] 4. Modifications Although one embodiment of the present invention has been described above, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and various modifications are possible without departing from the spirit of the present invention. For example, the following modifications are possible. Furthermore, the gist of the following modifications can be combined as appropriate.

[0074] <4-1> The configuration of the hook 5 is not particularly limited, and various modifications are possible. In the example shown in Fig. 18, the first connecting portion of the hanging portion 51 is omitted compared to the hook 5 of Fig. 12. Therefore, the second end 5112 of the first main body portion 511 of the hanging portion 51 is directly and foldably connected to the second connecting portion 521 of the mounting portion 52. Furthermore, the lengths of the engaging portion 523 of the mounting portion 52 in the vertical and horizontal directions are shortened. Therefore, the area of the hook 5 is reduced, thereby enabling cost reduction.

[0075] In the example of Figure 19, the mounting portion 52 is similar to that of Figure 12, although the lengths of each portion are slightly different, but the length of the second connecting portion 521 is longer. Only the first main body portion 511 of the hanging portion 51 is connected to both sides of the second connecting portion 521 in a bendable manner. In other words, no first connecting portion is provided. In this example, the first main body portion 511 is connected symmetrically to the second connecting portion 521.

[0076] 20, when using the hook 5, the first main body portions 511 are bent relative to the second connecting portion 521 so that they face each other. Then, by hooking the object 6 across the first main body portions 511, the housing 2 can be suspended so that the extension direction of the object 6 is parallel to the width direction of the housing.

[0077] In the hook shown in Fig. 21, the second connecting portion 521 is further elongated and extends downward. The first main body portion 511 is foldably connected to both sides of the upper end of the second connecting portion 521, as in Fig. 19. A second main body portion 522 extending horizontally is connected to the lower end of the second connecting portion 521, and rectangular engaging portions 525 extending upward are connected to both ends of the second main body portion 522.

[0078] 22, this hook 5 is attached to the ventilation opening 25b near the middle in the vertical direction of the housing 2. That is, each engagement portion 525 is inserted upward from the lower side of the ventilation opening 25b. This allows the housing 2 to be suspended. With this hook 5, the engagement portions 525 are inserted into the ventilation opening 25b from below to support the housing 2, so a retaining portion such as the protrusion 524 described above is not necessary.

[0079] The hook 5 of the present invention can suspend the housing 2 so that the contact area between the drug 1Y and the volatilization film 442 is smaller than in the resting state, and is provided with at least a suspension portion 51 that can be suspended from an object and an attachment portion 52 that can be attached to the housing 2. Other configurations are not particularly limited, and various modifications are possible. For example, the positions and number of attachment portions 52 fixed to the housing 2 are not particularly limited. Furthermore, the folding lines 53 are not necessarily required, and may be provided as needed.

[0080] In the above embodiment, when the housing 2 is hung by the hook 5, the drug container 4 is tilted forward, but the angle of the drug container 4 is not particularly limited as long as the contact area between the drug 1Y and the volatilization film 442 is smaller than in the placed state. For example, the drug container 4 may be arranged so as to extend vertically (so that the liquid surface of the drug 1Y and the volatilization film 442 intersect perpendicularly), or may be tilted backward.

[0081] In the above embodiment, the hook 5 is formed in a plate shape, but this is not limited to this, and as long as it can hang the housing 2 as described above, it can be formed in various shapes other than a plate shape, for example, a curved rod shape.

[0082] <4-2> The configuration of the housing 2 and the like is not particularly limited, as long as the drug 1Y is configured to come into contact with the volatilization film 422 at least in the drug container 4 housed in the housing 2. Therefore, in the above embodiment, the rupture film 441 is ruptured using the movable body 3 to expose the volatilization film 442 in the drug container 4, but the configuration for exposing the volatilization film is not particularly limited. For example, the rupture film 441 may be ruptured using another mechanism, or the user may peel off a gas-impermeable film covering the volatilization film 442.

[0083] The configuration of the housing 2 is not particularly limited, and the position and number of the ventilation holes 25 are not particularly limited as long as the volatilization film 442 faces the ventilation holes 25. However, if the hooks 5 are plate-shaped and the ventilation holes 25 are formed to extend in the front-to-rear direction, the hooks 5 can be tilted in the front-to-rear direction relative to the housing 2, making it possible to tilt the suspended housing 2. In addition, in the above embodiment, the hooks 6 are attached to the ventilation holes 25, but a dedicated recess or opening for attaching the hooks 5 may be provided.

[0084] Furthermore, the legs 22 used as windbreaks are not necessarily required.

[0085] The hook 5 may be integrally formed with the housing 2. Therefore, the material of the hook is not particularly limited.
