Description

Jig for fixing the blade

[0001] The present invention relates to a jig for fixing an object, and more specifically, to a jig for fixing a blade that improves user convenience by allowing a blade to be easily fixed and a sharpening angle to be arbitrarily adjusted.

[0002]

[0003] Sharpening a steel sword requires holding it at a consistent angle. Historically, the most common method for sharpening swords was to apply pressure to both sides of the blade to secure it in place. A sharpening stick, which cuts one end and sharpens one or both sides of the blade, can also be used. However, ensuring a consistent surface finish requires a certain level of skill.

[0004] A variety of materials are used to make swords, but the most common is iron. Iron is magnetic, so it can be fixed to strong magnetic objects like neodymium magnets. This can be used to secure the blade and to consider sharpening methods.

[0005] Patent Publication No. 10-2023-0050454 discloses a "magnetic sharpening jig including a flexible contact element," which uses a magnet and natural rubber or the like to provide friction as a method of securing the blade. To improve this, patent Publication No. 10-2023-0061470 discloses a "sharpening jig with adjustable angle," in which the blade is secured to a surface with a fixed sharpening angle.

[0006]

[0007] The purpose of the blade fixing jig according to the embodiment of the present invention is to stably fix and sharpen a small or large blade.

[0008] A blade fixing jig according to another embodiment of the present invention is intended to enable a detailed change in the grinding angle while easily specifying the grinding angle.

[0009]

[0043]

[0044] FIG. 1 illustrates the overall appearance of a blade fixing jig according to an embodiment of the present invention.

[0045] Referring to FIG. 1, a blade fixing jig according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an upper case (100) having a cavity formed at the lower end of one side with a first hinge coupling portion (110), a second hinge coupling portion (310) formed as a pair with the first hinge coupling portion (110) of the upper case (100) and hinge-coupled to the upper case (100), a rotation fixing portion (300) having at least one magnetic receiving portion (330) formed on one surface for introducing a magnetic member for fixing a blade, a rotation shaft member (400) for connecting the rotation fixing portion (300) so as to be rotatable by penetrating the first hinge coupling portion (110) and the second hinge coupling portion (310), a dial member (500) attached to the upper case (100) so as to allow the rotation fixing portion (300) to rotate about the rotation shaft member (400) to protrude or retract, It includes a lower case (700) that is coupled to the lower part of the upper case (100) and forms a predetermined sealed space to enable operation of the dial part (500).

[0046] Referring to Fig. 1, it can be seen that the upper case (100) forms a first hinge joint (110) so that the rotation fixing part (300) is secured and rotates through hinge joint. The rotation fixing part (300) is characterized in that at least one magnet receiving part (330) is formed. Referring to Fig. 1, it can be seen that three magnet receiving parts (330) are formed, but this is not limited thereto, and the number of magnet receiving parts (330) can be increased or decreased depending on the strength of the magnetic force of the magnets to be received.

[0047] FIG. 2 illustrates a dial portion (500) of a blade fixing jig according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 2, it can be seen that the dial portion (500) includes a link member (510) that is rotatably coupled to the other surface of a rotary fixing member (300), a pulling member (530) that has a screw hole formed on the inside and is rotatably coupled to one end of the link member (510) to pull the link member (510) forward or backward, a shaft member (550) that has screw threads (553) formed in a preset area to be inserted into the screw hole and to allow the pulling member (530) to move forward or backward, and a grip member (570) that is coupled to one end (551) of the shaft member (550) to rotate together with the shaft member (550) but is provided to have a diameter larger than that of the shaft member (550).

[0048] The traction member (530) is coupled to move the link member (510) forward or backward, and can be coupled to enable rotation of the link member (510) via the pin member (513). Through this, the upper portion of the rotation fixing member (300) can rotate according to the hinge joint and be separated from the upper case (100).

[0049] The gripping member (570) may be provided so that the shaft member (550) can be rotated according to the rotation of the gripping member (570) by being coupled to the shaft member (550). The shaft member (550) has a region where screw threads are formed and a region where they are not formed, and the region where screw threads are formed may be inserted into a screw hole of the pulling member (530) to enable forward or backward movement of the pulling member (530) according to the rotation of the shaft member (550).

[0050] FIG. 3 illustrates an upper case (100), a lower case (700), and a dial part (500) of a blade fixing jig according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIGS. 1 to 3, it can be confirmed that a grip member (570) is provided to protrude outwardly from the upper case (100) and the lower case (700). A user can rotate the grip member (570) clockwise or counterclockwise to adjust the angle of the rotating fixing part (300). It is preferable that the volumes of the upper case (100) and the lower case (700) be configured to a size suitable for holding with one hand. By holding the outer sides of the upper case (100) and the lower case (700) by hand and rotating the grip member (570), the angle for sharpening a blade attached to the rotating fixing part (300) can be adjusted.

[0051] Referring to FIG. 3, it can be seen that a first angle display portion and a second angle display portion for measuring the amount of rotation of the gripping member (570) are formed on each surface formed by the upper case (100) and the lower case (700), and an index portion (573) is formed on one surface of the gripping member (570) to indicate an arbitrary position of the first angle display portion (130) and the second angle display portion (730) so as to check the amount of rotation.

[0052] In the case of the blade fixing jig according to an embodiment of the present invention, the upper case (100) can be used with the lower case (700) placed on top, with the upper case (100) in contact with the floor. This is to ensure appropriate use depending on the size of the blade attached to the rotating fixing member (300). Although not shown, when using a rolling-type grinding device for grinding the blade, the height of the blade can be fixed at an appropriate height by considering the rotational momentum and the resulting frictional force between the blade and the grinding device.

[0053] Fig. 4 illustrates a state in which the lower case (700) of the blade fixing jig according to an embodiment of the present invention is removed. Referring to Fig. 4, it can be confirmed that the dial part (500) is arranged so as to be fixed to the inside of the upper case (100). In addition, it can be confirmed that a first coupling part (810) is provided so that one end of the shaft member (550) is coupled and rotatable, and a second coupling part (830) is provided so that a ring part formed at one end of the shaft member (550) is seated and rotatable.

[0054] The second coupling portion (830) may be provided to surround the periphery of a rotation guide ring (557) formed in a predetermined area close to the grip member (570) and may be provided to be coupled to a rotation guide ring mounting portion formed in the upper case (100). The rotation guide ring may be formed to have a diameter larger than one end of the shaft member (550) and may allow the shaft member (550) to rotate stably when a strong force for rotation of the grip member (570) is applied, while preventing it from being separated from the upper case (100). In addition, a stop ring (555) may be formed between the rotation guide ring (557) and the traction member (530) to limit the rearward movement of the traction member (530).

[0055] Referring to FIG. 4, a first bulkhead portion (150a) is formed on the inside of the upper case (100), a second bulkhead portion is formed on the inside of the lower case (700), and the first bulkhead portion (150a) and the second bulkhead portion may be provided to form a pair of storage spaces for a weight member (900) when the upper case (100) and the lower case (700) are combined. In addition, a buffer member (1100) may be further included to reduce shock and noise by being disposed between the weight member (900) to be stored in the storage space for the weight member (900) and the first bulkhead portion (150a) or between the weight member (900) and the second bulkhead portion. In order to sharpen a blade, a user may restrict the movement of the blade fixing jig by gripping the outside of the upper case (100) or the lower case (700). However, by including a weight member (900), the blade fixing jig can be made to stably fix the blade. The weight member (900) may be selected from one or more of Pb (lead), Cd (cadmium), Cr (chromium), Cu (copper), Ni (nickel), Zn (zinc), Mn (manganese), Co (cobalt), and Sn (tin). However, the present invention is not limited thereto, and iron (Fe) or a ferromagnetic material (e.g., a neodymium magnet) may be used as the weight member (900). In the case of a ferromagnetic material, stronger fixation can be achieved when the blade fixing jig of the present invention is used on a table made of iron.

[0056] FIG. 5 illustrates the overall appearance of a blade fixing jig according to another embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 5, a finishing member (1100) may be further included to be attached to one surface of a rotating fixing member (300) to increase frictional force. In addition, at least one friction pad (1300) provided to be coupled to the outer side of the upper case (100) and the lower case (700) may be further included. The finishing member (1100) is made of a natural rubber or polymer material and is provided to cover the magnetic receiving member (330), so that the blade fixed by its own frictional force can be fixed by a frictional force other than the magnetic force. In addition, like the weight member (900), the friction pad (1300) may be attached to the upper case (100) or the lower case (700) to stably place the blade fixing jig and prevent it from slipping on the floor.

[0057] Fig. 6 illustrates the inside of the upper case (100) of the blade fixing jig according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to Fig. 6, it can be confirmed that a guide groove (170) is formed on the inside of the upper case (100) to guide the forward or rearward path of the link member (510). The guide groove (170) can increase durability by maintaining a constant path when the link member (510) moves forward or rearward, and can prevent impurities, etc., that may be introduced through the rotating fixing part (300) from entering the shaft member (550) and the traction member (530) area.

[0058] Fig. 7 illustrates a state in which the rotating fixing part (300), the link member (510), and the dial member (500) of the present invention are combined. Referring to Fig. 7, it can be confirmed that the other end surface (370) of the rotating fixing part (300) facing the rotating shaft member (400) is formed to form a curved surface. As the link member (510) moves forward or backward, the other end surface of the rotating fixing part (300) rotates along a trajectory corresponding to an arc of a circle, thereby preventing impurities generated by the sharpening of the blade from entering the space formed by the upper case (100) and the lower case (700). In addition, it is possible to prevent the user from getting their fingers caught, etc., when they hold the upper case (100).

[0059] This specification and drawings disclose preferred embodiments of the present invention. Although specific terms are used, they are used in a general sense only to easily explain the technical content of the present invention and to aid in understanding the invention, and are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention. It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that other modifications based on the technical concept of the present invention are possible in addition to the embodiments disclosed herein.
