Abstract
Description
Lure cover and lure body
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a lure cover and a lure body.
[0002] Patent Document 1 discloses a lure used for fishing, which is formed in a generally rectangular prism shape tapering toward both ends, with a head-side hook portion and a tail-side hook portion at both ends for hooking a fishing line or a fishing hook, and which has a lure body made of metal with a mirror-finished surface, and a hologram sticker replaceably attached to an attachment surface formed on the lure body.
[0003] Registered Utility Model No. 3194847
[0004] In lure fishing, even if the target fish is the same type of fish, the appropriate lure changes depending on, for example, the time of day when fishing or the weather and temperature at the fishing spot. Therefore, anglers sometimes change their lures at the fishing spot. To change lures, for example, the angler needs to purchase multiple lures and carry them to the fishing spot.
[0005] Therefore, the technology disclosed in this specification aims to provide a lure cover or the like that eliminates the need to change lures.
[0006] With this objective in mind, the technology disclosed in this specification is a lure cover that can be attached to a lure shaped like a fish, and includes a base material formed in a sheet shape that is stretchable in the sheet surface direction, an adhesive portion that is provided on one surface of the base material that is attached to the lure and has adhesive strength that allows it to be attached and peeled off, and a surface portion that is provided on the other surface of the base material and presents a specified pattern or a specified color.
[0007] Here, the width of the base material in one direction, which is a direction connecting the head and tail of the lure, may be larger than the width in a cross direction intersecting the one direction, so that the lure can be covered from the back to the abdomen of the lure. The width of the base material in the cross direction at a central portion in the one direction may be larger than the width of the head portion side and the width of the tail portion side in the cross direction. The base material may have a larger stretch rate in the cross direction than in the one direction. The surface portion may have a specific pattern in a region corresponding to the back of the lure that is different from other regions. The surface portion may have a transparent portion that transmits visible light. The transparent portion may be positioned to cover the head of the lure. The surface portion may have a plurality of holes penetrating the base material, the adhesive portion, and the surface portion. The surface portion may have a color density in the region corresponding to the back of the lure that is darker than the color density in the region corresponding to the abdomen of the lure. The base material may also have a protruding portion that protrudes from an end of the base material and that can be grasped by the user when the base material is attached to the lure.
[0008] Furthermore, with this objective in mind, the technology disclosed in this specification is a lure body shaped like a fish, which has a first structural part to which a lure cover configured to be expandable and contractible in the planar direction is attached, and a second structural part to which the lure cover cannot be attached, and the first structural part is recessed compared to the second structural part.
[0009] According to the present disclosure, it is possible to provide a lure cover or the like that eliminates the need to change lures.
[0010] It is an overall configuration diagram of the lure according to the present embodiment. It is a schematic configuration diagram of the cover. It is a diagram showing a process of attaching the cover. It is a diagram showing a modified example of the cover. It is a diagram showing another modified example of the cover. It is a diagram showing a modified example of the body.
[0011] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present disclosure will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. <Lure 1> Fig. 1 is an overall configuration diagram of a lure 1 according to the present embodiment. First, the overall configuration of the lure 1 according to the present embodiment will be described with reference to Fig. 1.
[0012] As shown in FIG. 1, the lure 1 comprises a lure body 10 and a cover 100 removably provided on the lure body 10.
[0013] The lure body 10 includes a body 3, a line eye 5, a first hook eye 7, a second hook eye 9, a lip 11, a first hook 17, and a second hook 19.
[0014] The body 3 has a shape that resembles a small fish used as bait. In other words, the body 3 is generally cylindrical, with the center portion in the longitudinal direction being thicker than the ends. The body 3 is formed, for example, from a synthetic resin. The illustrated body 3 includes a head portion 31 corresponding to the head of the fish, a tail portion 33 corresponding to the tail fin of the fish, a back portion 35 corresponding to the back of the fish, an abdomen portion 37 corresponding to the belly of the fish, and eye portions 39 corresponding to the eyes of the fish. In this body 3, the abdomen portion 37 is thicker than the head portion 31 and the back portion 35, and the abdomen portion 37 is formed with a curved surface.
[0015] Here, the line eye 5 is provided at the tip of the head portion 31 of the body 3. The first hook eye 7 is provided in the abdomen portion 37 of the body 3. The second hook eye 9 is provided at the tip of the tail portion 33 of the body 3. The line eye 5, the first hook eye 7, and the second hook eye 9 are each formed from metal wire. Both ends of these metal wires are embedded in the body 3. Furthermore, the lip 11 is provided on the head portion 31 of the body 3, on the abdomen portion 37 side. This lip 11 is formed from, for example, synthetic resin.
[0016] A line (not shown) is attached to the line eye 5. A first hook 17 is attached to the first hook eye 7. A second hook 19 is attached to the second hook eye 9. The first hook 17 and the second hook 19 are so-called metal fishhooks. In the illustrated example, the first hook 17 and the second hook 19 are treble hooks.
[0017] <Cover 100> Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of the cover 100. Fig. 2(A) is a plan view of the cover 100, and Fig. 2(B) is a cross-sectional view of the cover 100. Next, the cover 100 will be described with reference to Figs. 1 and 2.
[0018] As shown in FIG. 1 , the cover 100 is a sheet-like member that is attached to the surface of the body 3 of the lure main body 10. Here, in this embodiment, the cover 100 covers the back 35 of the body 3. The cover 100 also covers both side surfaces of the body 3. That is, the cover 100 covers the area from the back 35 to the abdomen 37 of the body 3. The cover 100 does not cover but exposes areas of the body 3 to which other components are attached. Specifically, the cover 100 partially exposes the abdomen 37 of the body 3 to which the first hook 17 is attached. Similarly, the cover 100 partially exposes the head portion 31 of the body 3 to which a line (not shown) is attached. The cover 100 also partially exposes the tail portion 33 to which the second hook 19 is attached. Furthermore, the cover 100 partially exposes the head portion 31 to which the lip 11 is provided. By exposing a portion of the body 3 using the cover 100 in this manner, deterioration of the functionality of the lure 1 is suppressed.
[0019] 2A, the cover 100 has a substantially rectangular shape before being attached to the body 3. In other words, the cover 100 is a barrel-shaped sheet in a plan view. When attached to the body 3, the cover 100 has a head side 101 disposed on the head portion 31 side, a tail side 103 disposed on the tail portion 33 side, and a first abdominal side 105 and a second abdominal side 107, each disposed on the abdominal portion 37 side.
[0020] In the following description, the left-right direction in FIG. 2(A), i.e., the longitudinal direction of the cover 100 (an example of one direction) may be simply referred to as the longitudinal direction. The left side in FIG. 2(A) may be referred to as the head side, and the right side as the tail side. The up-down direction in FIG. 2(A) may be referred to as the width direction (an example of a cross direction that intersects (substantially perpendicular to) one direction). The upper side in FIG. 2 may be referred to as one side, and the lower side as the other side. The up-down direction in FIG. 2(B), i.e., the thickness direction of the cover 100, may be simply referred to as the thickness direction. The upper side in FIG. 2(A) may be referred to as the print side, and the lower side as the peel side.
[0021] The widthwise center of the cover 100 is referred to as the back region R0. One widthwise side of the cover 100 is referred to as the first region R1, and the other widthwise side is referred to as the second region R2. Here, the back region R0 is fixed along the back 35 of the body 3 when the cover 100 is attached to the body 3. The first region R1 of the cover 100 is fixed to a portion of the body 3 corresponding to the right side of the small fish. The second region R2 of the cover 100 is fixed to a portion of the body 3 corresponding to the left side of the small fish.
[0022] The widthwise dimension of the cover 100 varies depending on the longitudinal position. Specifically, the width W0 of the longitudinal center portion is wider than the width W1 of the head side and the width W3 of the tail side in the longitudinal direction. In other words, the cover 100 has a bulging shape at the longitudinal center portion. More specifically, the illustrated first abdominal side 105 and second abdominal side 107 are each arched and curved in a direction away from each other. The first abdominal side 105 and second abdominal side 107 have the most protruding first apex 115 and second apex 117, respectively. The distance between the first apex 115 and the second apex 117 is the width W0.
[0023] The cover 100 is formed to be stretchable. The stretchability of the cover 100 of this embodiment is exerted by the substrate 155 described below. For example, when the cover 100 is pinched and pulled between fingers, it stretches to a length that is 1.5 times or more and 3.0 times or less of its original length. On the other hand, when the fingers are released from the pinched cover 100, the cover 100 naturally contracts and returns to its original length. The cover 100 of this embodiment stretches to a length that is 50% or more and 300% or less when pulled with a force of approximately 100 g, i.e., a force of 1 Newton [N].
[0024] Furthermore, the cover 100 has different stretch rates in the longitudinal direction and the width direction. This makes it easier to attach the cover 100 to the body 3 and to peel the cover 100 from the body 3. To further explain, in the illustrated example, the cover 100 has a greater stretch rate in the width direction than in the longitudinal direction. For example, when the cover 100 is pulled with a finger, the stretch rate in the longitudinal direction is 50% or more and 100% or less, and the stretch rate in the width direction is 150% or more and 300% or less. In other words, the cover 100 stretches more easily in the width direction than in the longitudinal direction. This prevents wrinkles from forming in the cover 100 when attaching the cover 100.
[0025] The cover 100 is formed from multiple layered components. As shown in FIG. 2(B), the cover 100 includes a release sheet 151, an adhesive layer 153, a substrate 155, and a print layer 157. The release sheet 151 is a sheet-like component that is peeled off before being attached to the body 3. The adhesive layer 153 is an adhesive applied to one surface of the substrate 155. The adhesive layer 153 has adhesive strength that allows it to adhere to and be peeled from the lure body 10. The substrate 155 is a sheet-like component formed from a stretchable synthetic resin. In the illustrated example, the substrate 155 is formed from a transparent film. In this embodiment, the substrate 155 may be, for example, a polyurethane film made from a polyurethane resin. The print layer 157 is a layer formed from toner, ink, or the like, and is disposed on the surface of the substrate 155 opposite the adhesive layer 153. The print layer 157 forms a predetermined image on the surface of the substrate 155.
[0026] Furthermore, in the cover 100 of this embodiment, the release sheet 151, the adhesive layer 153, the base material 155, and part or all of the print layer 157 may be made of a water-soluble material, which reduces the environmental impact even if the cover 100 peels off from the body 3 in water, for example.
[0027] Cover 100 constructed as described above is attached to lure 1 that resembles a fish, and comprises substrate 155 formed in a sheet shape and capable of stretching in the sheet surface direction, adhesive layer 153 provided on one surface of substrate 155 that is the surface that is attached to lure 1 and has adhesive strength that allows adhesion and peeling, and print layer 157 provided on the other surface of substrate 155 and presenting a predetermined pattern or a predetermined color.
[0028] <Step of Attaching Cover 100> Figure 3 is a diagram showing the step of attaching the cover 100. Next, the step of attaching the cover 100 to the body 3 will be described with reference to Figures 1 to 3 .
[0029] First, before attaching the cover 100 to the body 3, the release sheet 151 of the cover 100 is peeled off (see FIG. 2B). Then, as shown in FIG. 3, the spine region R0 is attached along the spine 35 of the body 3. Then, either the first region R1 (FIG. 2A) or the second region R2 is attached to the body 3 in that order. At this time, the cover 100 is attached to the body 3 while being pulled in the width direction, i.e., stretched from the spine 35 to the abdomen 37. This prevents wrinkles from forming in the cover 100 attached to the body 3, whose abdomen 37 is a curved surface.
[0030] As described above, a predetermined image is formed on the print layer 157 of the cover 100 attached to the body 3. By attaching the cover 100 with this image formed thereon, the appearance of the body 3 is changed. Therefore, it is possible to change the appearance of the lure 1 by attaching the cover 100 without replacing the body 3 itself. Furthermore, by preparing multiple covers 100 with different patterns or colors of images formed thereon, the appearance of the lure 1 can be further changed by peeling off the attached cover 100 and attaching another cover 100.
[0031] <Modifications> Fig. 4 is a diagram showing a modification of the cover 100. Fig. 5 is a diagram showing another modification of the cover 100.
[0032] 4 to 6, modified examples of the cover 100 and the body 3 will be described. In the following description, the same components as those in the above embodiment will be designated by the same reference numerals, and detailed description thereof may be omitted.
[0033] First, the image formed by the print layer 157 (see FIG. 2B ) in the cover 100 is not particularly limited. Therefore, the image on the print layer 157 may be, for example, a pattern or color that resembles the surface of a fish, or may be an image colored only in a specific color (monochrome) such as a fluorescent color. The print layer 157 of this embodiment exhibits a color, not black and white, but what is known as color. Furthermore, the print layer 157 exhibits a pattern that is a variety of pictures or shapes applied as decoration, or a figure that appears on the surface of an object. In this case, the print layer 157 may be in a form that includes both a color and a pattern, or in a form that includes at least one of a color and a pattern. In other words, the print layer 157 of this embodiment exhibits a predetermined pattern or a predetermined color.
[0034] Here, the density of the image formed by the print layer 157 may be varied depending on the position on the cover 100. More specifically, as in the cover 200 shown in FIG. 4A , the image formed by the print layer 157 may have varying shades. Specifically, a region R20 in the cover 200 has a higher color density than the other regions. The region R20 is the region that is attached to the abdomen 37. The region R20 is the region that is extended and attached to a greater extent than the other regions. Furthermore, the higher color density of the region R20 reduces the difference in color density between the region R20 and the other regions of the cover 100 when attached.
[0035] Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 4B, a pattern may be formed on the cover 300 to assist in the application process. Specifically, a region R30 in the cover 300 is formed in a color or the like that is different from the other regions. This region R30 has an elongated shape extending along the longitudinal direction. By using this region R30 as a marker and applying the region R30 along the spine 35, the application process of the cover 300 becomes easier.
[0036] Furthermore, as in the cover 400 shown in FIG. 4C , a portion of the cover 400 may be configured to be transparent and transmit visible light. Specifically, the head region R40 (an example of a transparent portion) of the cover 400 is more transparent than the other region, the tail region R41. Because the head region R40 transmits visible light, the color, pattern, and other features of an object facing the head region R40 can be seen through the head region R40. The head region R40 is so-called transparent, while the tail region R41 is colored a specific color, such as yellow. This allows the color of the body 3 to be used in the head region R40, while the other regions are covered by the tail region R41, thereby switching the appearance of part of the body 3 to a different color.
[0037] The shape of the cover 100 is not particularly limited. For example, as shown in FIG. 5A , the cover 500 may have a shape that covers the head portion 31. A head region R50 of the cover 500 is a region that covers the head portion 31. The head region R50 is transparent, and the eye portion 39 of the head portion 31 is visible even when the head portion 31 is covered. Since only the head region R50 is transparent, the head region R50 functions as a marker, and it is possible to prevent the cover 500 from being attached in the wrong direction relative to the body 3.
[0038] 5(B), the cover 600 may include tabs R60 (an example of a protrusion) protruding from an end of the cover 600. The tabs R60 are held by the angler (user) during the application process. In this embodiment, the tabs R60 are provided at multiple locations so as to protrude outward from the first abdominal side 105. The tabs R60 are also provided at multiple locations so as to protrude outward from the second abdominal side 107. The tabs R60 can be formed, for example, at positions different from the hooks (first hook 17, second hook 19) provided on the lure body 10.
[0039] The provision of the tab R60 allows the user to grip the tab R60 when attaching or removing the cover 600 to the lure body 10. In particular, the provision of the tab R60 prevents the user from being injured by the first hook 17 and the second hook 19 during the sticker attachment process. The tab R60 may be configured without an adhesive layer. This prevents the tab R60 from unintentionally sticking to the user's fingers, reducing workability. The tab R60 may also be processed to facilitate separation, such as by forming a perforation at its base. This processing makes it easy to cut off the tab R60 after the cover 600 is attached to the body 3.
[0040] 5(C), the cover 700 may include through holes R70 (an example of a hole portion). In the illustrated cover 700, a plurality of through holes R70 are formed in the plate surface of the cover 700. That is, the through holes R70 penetrate the adhesive layer 153, the base material 155, and the printed layer 157. Furthermore, by forming the through holes R70, even if the body 3 is wet, water can be discharged through the through holes R70 when the cover 700 is attached to the body 3.
[0041] 5(D), the adhesive strength of the adhesive layer 153 on the cover 800 may vary depending on the position on the cover 800. In the illustrated example of the cover 800, the adhesive strength in region R80 is weaker than in other regions. This region R80 is on the tail portion 33 side of the lure body 10, i.e., the rear end side in the traveling direction of the lure body 10 that is pulled by the line in the water, and experiences relatively little resistance from water. In other words, the possibility of peeling due to water resistance is relatively low. By weakening the adhesive strength in this way in some regions, the operation of peeling off the cover 800 becomes easier.
[0042] FIG. 6 shows a modified example of the body 3. In FIG.
[0043] The shape of the body 3 of the lure main body 10 is not particularly limited. For example, the surface of the body 3 may be provided with irregularities. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 6 , a region R11 (an example of a first structural portion) for attaching the cover 100 to the body 30 may be provided. This region R11 has a shape that is more recessed than the other regions (an example of a second structural portion). That is, the region R11 is a step provided on the surface of the body 30 for attaching the cover 100. The region R11 has a shape that corresponds to the shape of the cover 100. The provision of this region R11 facilitates the work of attaching the cover 100. Furthermore, by attaching the cover 100 to a position that is more recessed than the other regions, the cover 100 is less likely to encounter water resistance when the lure 1 is pulled by the line in water, and peeling of the cover 100 is suppressed.
[0044] In the above description, the cover 100 is described as being stretchable, but it does not have to be stretchable as long as it can cover the body 3. Also, in the above description, it has been described that the stretch rate of the cover 100 is greater in the width direction than in the length direction, but this is not limited to this. For example, the cover 100 may be configured so that the stretch rate in the length direction is greater than the stretch rate in the width direction.
[0045] In the above description, the cover 100 covers the body 3 from the head portion 31 to the tail portion 33, but is not limited to this. For example, the cover 100 may be configured to cover only one of the head portion 31 and the tail portion 33.
[0046] In the above description, the cover 100 is attached to the body 3. However, the number of covers 100 attached to the body 3 is not particularly limited. That is, multiple covers 100 may be attached to the body 3. That is, multiple covers 100 may be attached in layers.
[0047] Here, as shown in Figure 4(C), a configuration may be adopted in which multiple covers 400 with some portions made transparent are formed and these covers 400 are laminated together. Specifically, multiple covers 400 having the same shape in a plan view are formed. Then, for example, the head region R40 of each cover 400 is made transparent, and the tail region R41 of each cover 400 is colored a different color. This allows the color of the body 3 to be used in the head region R40, while the cover color of the other regions can be changed depending on the tail region R41.
[0048] Additionally, it is possible to form a plurality of covers 400 that have the same shape in a plan view but have different positions of the transparent region. That is, it is possible to form a cover 400 in which the head region R40 is transparent and the tail region R41 is colored, and a cover 400 in which the head region R40 is colored and the tail region R41 is transparent. This allows the color of only any region of the head region R40 or the tail region R41 to be switched.
[0049] Although various embodiments and modifications have been described above, it is of course possible to combine these embodiments and modifications. Furthermore, the present disclosure is not limited to the above-described embodiments and can be implemented in various forms without departing from the spirit and scope of the present disclosure.
[0050] The lure body 10 is an example of a lure and a lure body. The cover 100 (200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800) is an example of a lure cover. The adhesive layer 153 is an example of an adhesive portion. The substrate 155 is an example of a substrate portion. The print layer 157 is an example of a surface portion.
