Abstract
Description
Cap for sample storage container
[0001] The present invention relates to a cap for a sample storage container, and more particularly, to a cap for a sample storage container that can prevent unauthorized separation from the tip of an assembly jig used to separate or fasten a cap assembled on the top of a collection container from the collection container.
[0002] Typically, specimen storage containers are primarily used in hospitals and laboratories, and are used to temporarily store blood collected from test subjects during various disease tests or blood alcohol concentration tests. Conventional specimen storage containers, such as the above, consist of a sterilized collection container for receiving the sample and a cap that attaches to the open portion of the collection container.
[0003] The cap of such a sample storage container is simply inserted or screwed into the open portion of the upper part of the collection container. The insertion structure of the cap provides a simpler opening and closing operation than the screw-in structure, but has a problem in that the airtightness is reduced, which may cause the inflow of foreign substances or blood leakage during movement. The screw-in structure of the cap provides a superior airtightness compared to the insertion structure, but has a problem in that the opening and closing operation is inconvenient.
[0004] In this way, the cap that is connected to the open part of the collection container is molded from a single material made of a thermoplastic resin such as polypropylene with excellent chemical resistance. However, as described above, if it has a structure that is inserted or screwed into the open part of the collection container, there is an inconvenience in that in order to collect a sample and put it into the collection container, the cap must be separated from the collection container, the sample must be put into the collection container, and then the cap must be closed.
[0005] Accordingly, as illustrated in Fig. 1, a plurality of sampling containers (20) are placed on a container holder (40), and a cap (10) is screw-connected to the top of the sampling container (20). At this time, an assembly jig (30) is used to separate the cap (10) screw-connected to the sampling container (20) or to assemble the cap (10) separated from the sampling container (20).
[0006] The assembly jig (30) has a drive motor (not shown) built into the interior of the main body (31), and a tip (32) connected to the shaft of the drive motor is exposed toward the lower part of the main body (31). In addition, a push button (33) is provided on the side of the main body (31) to control the rotational direction of the tip (32) according to the operation of the drive motor.
[0007] The tip (32) provided on the assembly jig (30) is structured to be inserted into the inlet (11) formed on the upper surface of the cap (10), so that when separating or assembling the cap (10) from the collection container (20), the tip (32) of the assembly jig is inserted into the inlet (11) of the cap (10), and then the user operates the push button (33) to operate the driving motor, so that the cap (10) is screw-connected to or separated from the collection container (20) according to the rotation of the tip (32).
[0008] At this time, the tip (32) of the assembly jig (30) and the inlet (11) of the cap (10) have a structure that maintains a fastened state by a forced fit, but if the tip (32) of the assembly jig (30) and the inlet (11) of the cap become loose, the tip (32) and the cap (10) are not fastened, so when moving the cap (10) to the collection container (20), the cap (10) is inadvertently separated from the tip (32), causing inconvenience in assembling the collection container (20) and the cap (10).
[0009] In addition, as described above, if the tip (32) of the assembly jig (30) and the inlet (11) of the cap (10) become loose, even if the tip (32) of the assembly jig (30) rotates while the cap (10) is positioned on the upper part of the collection container (20), the cap (10) does not rotate together with the tip (32) and only the tip (32) rotates, which causes the inconvenience of not being able to attach or detach the cap (10) to or from the collection container (20).
[0010] The present invention is intended to solve the above-mentioned problems, and its purpose is to provide a cap for a sample storage container that can prevent the cap from being unintentionally separated from an assembly jig when the cap is moved through the assembly jig.
[0011] The technical idea of the present invention to achieve the above object is achieved by a cap for a sample storage container, characterized in that it includes a stopper part assembled to the upper part of a collection container with an open top, a body formed integrally with the stopper part and having an inlet formed on the upper surface into which a tip of an assembly jig is inserted, a magnetic body placed inside the body and magnetically attached to the tip of the assembly jig, and an elastomer filled in the inlet part to fix the magnetic body to the inlet part.
[0012] Here, it is preferable that the body extends toward the plug portion with an extension port having a diameter smaller than the inlet port, so that the elastomer is filled in the extension port and the inlet port to surround the magnetic body.
[0013] In addition, it is preferable that the extension member has a plurality of lips formed on its inner surface facing the axis of the body.
[0014] In addition, it is preferable that the extension member has a number of embedded grooves formed on its inner surface.
[0015] And, it is preferable that the magnetic body has a spherical shape.
[0016] Additionally, it is preferable that the magnetic body has a plate shape.
[0017] Additionally, it is preferable that the magnetic body has a ring shape.
[0018] And, it is preferable that the magnetic body has irregularities formed on its surface.
[0019]
[0020] According to the cap for a sample storage container according to the present invention, a magnetic body is provided inside an inlet into which a tip of an assembly jig is inserted, so that the tip of the assembly jig and the magnetic body are magnetically attached to each other, thereby preventing the cap from being unintentionally removed from the tip when the cap is moved using the assembly jig.

[0027] Terms or words used in this specification and claims should not be interpreted as limited to their usual or dictionary meanings, but should be interpreted as meanings and concepts that conform to the technical idea of the present invention, based on the principle that the inventor can appropriately define the concept of the term to explain his or her invention in the best possible way.
[0028]
[0029] Hereinafter, a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.
[0030] Fig. 2 is an exploded perspective view showing a cap for a sample storage container according to the present invention, and Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view showing a cap for a sample storage container according to the present invention.
[0031] Referring to the drawings, a cap for a sample storage container according to the present invention is composed of a stopper (110) that is assembled to the upper part of a collection container (20) having an open upper part, a body (120) that is formed integrally with the stopper (110) and has an inlet (121) formed on the upper surface into which a tip (32) of an assembly jig is inserted, a magnetic body (130) that is placed inside the body (120) and adheres to the tip (32) of the assembly jig by magnetic force, and an elastomer (140) that is filled in the inlet (121) and fixes the magnetic body (130) to the inlet (121).
[0032] According to the present invention having the above configuration, since a magnetic body (130) is provided in the inlet (121) of the body (120), when the cap is moved using an assembly jig, the magnetic body (130) is magnetically attached to the tip (32) of the assembly jig, thereby preventing the cap from falling off the tip (32) during movement.
[0033] To elaborate, the collection container (20) has a space formed inside to accommodate a sample and has a shape of a body with an open top so that a sample can be introduced through the top. In addition, the collection container (20) is made of a transparent or translucent material so that the presence or absence of a sample can be identified from the outside.
[0034] This collection container (20) is made of a thermoplastic resin such as polypropylene with excellent chemical resistance, and a female screw (21) is formed on the inner upper part of the collection container (20) so that it can be sealed by screw connection with the cap stopper (110).
[0035] The cap coupled to the upper part of the above-described collection container (20) is composed of a stopper (110), a body (120), a magnetic body (130), and an elastomer (140). The stopper (110) has a cylindrical shape with a male screw (111) formed on the outer surface to be threadedly coupled with a female screw (21) formed on the upper part of the collection container (20), so that when the cap is assembled to the collection container (20), the stopper (110) is threadedly fastened through the upper part of the collection container (20).
[0036] This plug part (110) is formed integrally with a body (120) on the upper part thereof. The body (120) is formed in a cylindrical shape with a diameter larger than that of the plug part (110), and an inlet (121) into which the tip (32) of the assembly jig is inserted is formed on the upper surface of the body (120). At this time, the inlet (121) has a diameter sufficient to be forcibly fitted with the tip (32) of the assembly jig.
[0037] Additionally, a number of protrusions are formed on the inner surface of the inlet (121) to increase the contact area with the tip (32) of the assembly jig, as shown in FIG. 2.
[0038] In this way, when a number of protrusions are formed on the inner surface of the inlet (121), the frictional force between the tip (32) of the assembly jig and the inlet (121) increases, thereby preventing the cap from being unintentionally removed from the tip (32) of the assembly jig.
[0039] In addition, the outer surface of the body (120) has a polygonal shape or a non-slip such as a fine slit is formed along the outer surface of the body (120) so that the user can easily detach the cap by turning it from the collection container (20).
[0040] A magnetic body (130) that is attached to the tip (32) of the assembly jig by magnetic force is provided in the inlet (121) formed in the body (120) as described above. The magnetic body (130) is formed as a sphere made of a magnet as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3.
[0041] At this time, if the magnetic body (130) is made of a magnet, a metal plate (not shown) is provided at the end of the tip (32) of the assembly jig, and when the tip (32) of the assembly jig is inserted into the inlet (121) of the body (120), the magnetic body (130) is attached to the tip (32) of the assembly jig by the magnetic force exerted by the magnetic body (130).
[0042] And, in order to fix the magnetic body located in the inlet (121) of the body (120), the inlet (121) is filled with an elastomer (140). The elastomer (140) exhibits elasticity like rubber when hardened, and in order to fix the magnetic body (130) located in the inlet (121), a liquid elastomer (140) is injected into the inlet (121) and hardened to fix the magnetic body (130) to the inlet (121).
[0043] Meanwhile, as illustrated in FIG. 3, an elastomer (140) is provided on the upper and lower portions of a magnetic body (130) located within an inlet (121) of a body (120) so that the magnetic body (130) can be stably fixed. The body (120) has an extension port (122) having a smaller diameter than the inlet port (121) and extends toward the plug (110), so that the elastomer (140) fills the extension port (122) and the inlet port (121) to surround the magnetic body.
[0044] At this time, the extension port (122) is formed with a plurality of lips (123) facing the axis of the body (120) on its inner surface. In this way, when a plurality of lips (123) are formed on the inner surface of the extension port (122), when elastomer is injected into the inlet port (121), the liquid elastomer (140) flows into the gap formed between the lips (123), and the elastomer (140) is positioned at the upper and lower portions centered on the magnetic body (130), and as the elastomer hardens, the magnetic body (130) can be more firmly fixed to the inlet port (121) and the extension port (122).
[0045] Meanwhile, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described above, but can be implemented by modifying and changing the present invention within a scope that does not deviate from the gist of the present invention, and such modifications and changes should also be considered to belong to the technical idea of the present invention.
[0046] For example, the present invention can be implemented by forming a buried groove (124) on the inner surface of the extension member (122) as shown in FIGS. 4 to 7, or by deforming the magnetic body (130) into various shapes.
[0047] That is, as shown in FIG. 4, a plurality of buried grooves (124) can be formed on the inner surface of the extension member (122).
[0048] In this way, when a plurality of embedded grooves (124) are formed along the inner surface of the extension port (122), when a liquid elastomer is injected to fix the magnetic body (130), the embedded grooves (124) formed on the inner surface of the extension port (122) are filled with the elastomer (140) and hardened, so that the elastomer (140) can be firmly bound to the extension port (122), thereby preventing the magnetic body (130) from being unauthorizedly detached from the inlet port (121).
[0049] In addition, as shown in FIG. 5, the magnetic body (130) positioned at the inlet (121) may be formed in the shape of a disc.
[0050] As described above, when the magnetic body (130) has a circular shape, the area facing the metal plate provided on the tip (32) of the assembly jig increases, and a magnetic force is applied in proportion to the increase in the area between the metal plate and the magnetic body (130), so that the magnetic body (130) is stably attached to the tip (32) of the assembly jig.
[0051] In addition, as shown in FIG. 6, the magnetic body (130) located at the inlet (121) may be formed in the form of a ring in which a hollow (131) is formed.
[0052] As described above, when the magnetic body (130) has a ring shape with a hollow space (131), when a liquid elastomer (140) is injected into the inlet (121) to fix the magnetic body (130), the elastomer (140) flows into the extension port (122) through the hollow space (131) of the magnetic body (130) and fills it, so that when the elastomer (140) is hardened, the magnetic body (130) can be firmly fixed.
[0053] In addition, as shown in FIG. 7, a plurality of irregularities (132) are formed on the surface of the magnetic body (130).
[0054] As described above, when a number of irregularities (132) are formed on the surface of the magnetic body (130), when the liquid elastomer (140) is injected, the irregularities (132) of the magnetic body (130) are filled with the elastomer (140) and hardened, so that the contact area between the elastomer and the magnetic body (130) increases, and the magnetic body (130) can be stably fixed to the inlet (121).
