Abstract
Description
Toilet air pump
[0001] The present invention relates to a toilet air injector capable of unclogging a clogged toilet seat, and more specifically, the toilet air injector comprises a bottom plate having a rim-shaped opening that is in close contact with the rim of the toilet seat, a top plate that is connected to one end of a corrugated tube at the top of the bottom plate, and a lid-like top plate at the other end. When the top plate and the bottom plate of the toilet air injector are pulled from both sides, the cylindrical corrugated tube unfolds and becomes longer, and the lengthened corrugated tube increases in volume and can store a larger volume of air than when folded within the corrugated tube between the top plate and the bottom plate. When the bottom plate of the toilet air injector is placed on the rim of the toilet seat in a state where the corrugated tube of the toilet air injector is unfolded by pulling the bottom plate and the top plate together, the toilet seat and the inside of the toilet air injector are sealed due to the remaining trap weir. In this state, if you put your weight on the top plate of the toilet air injector and apply pressure, the pressure inside the toilet bowl and the toilet air injector corrugated tube increases, and this pressure is ejected together with the residue through the trap weir and toilet outlet, which are sealed by the residue with a relatively low pressure critical point, resulting in the effect of unclogging the trap weir and toilet outlet. This toilet air injector is hygienic because it does not come into direct contact with the contents of the toilet bowl, and since it has a structure where you sit by putting your weight on the top plate of the toilet air injector, you can apply pressure without effort, making it easy to unclog a clogged toilet.
[0002] Toilet clogs can be caused by a variety of factors, from small items accidentally dropped in the toilet to contaminants clogging the drain. If a toilet clogs, a daily necessity, it can cause a number of unpleasant symptoms, including a foul odor.
[0003] The toilet's design requires a residual fluid to prevent odors from flowing back, and for this purpose, it uses a trap weir. Trap weirs are designed to utilize the "Venturi effect" to minimize the pipe length, as the water pressure of the water tank alone is not sufficient to completely flush out the contents and water.
[0004] The Venturi effect is a fundamental principle of fluid dynamics, describing the phenomenon in which a fluid's velocity increases as it passes through a narrow passage, while the pressure at that point simultaneously decreases. This phenomenon is named after Italian physicist Giovanni Battista Venturi.
[0005] The toilet's structure, which utilizes the 'Venturi effect', combines a trap weir with an S-shaped bend and a narrow pipe section. This structure is one that is bound to cause clogs due to toilet bowl contents or foreign substances, and in particular, the narrow and curved pipe makes it difficult to unclog a toilet in an average household without special equipment.
[0006] The present invention was devised to solve the above-described problems, and its purpose is to make the toilet bowl completely sealed, thereby increasing the pressure inside the bowl, and causing the increased pressure to pass through the trap weir and be discharged along with the remaining waste through the toilet outlet, thereby easily unclogging the toilet bowl. To do so, all three openings of the toilet bowl must be sealed.
[0007] The first opening of the toilet, the passage connecting the flushing water to the water tank, is sealed with a stopper, and the water pressure of the water tank presses down on the stopper, making it completely sealed. The second opening, the trap weir connected to the toilet outlet at the bottom of the toilet, is always sealed due to residual fluid. If for some reason there is no residual fluid, the seal can be sealed by flushing the toilet. The final opening of the toilet is the top of the toilet bowl where the waste falls, and this is the opening where we sit with the toilet seat installed on the rim. If the opening at the top of the bowl is completely sealed and the pressure inside the bowl is increased, the pressure will be released to the trap weir connected to the toilet outlet at the bottom of the toilet, which is sealed due to the relatively low residual pressure, and the toilet bowl can be completely unclogged.
[0008] In order to achieve the above-described purpose, a toilet air injector (100) according to the present invention comprises: a bottom plate (106) having an opening (104) having a shape similar in plan to a rim (206) of a toilet bowl (207) of a toilet (200); a cylindrical corrugated tube (103) perfectly joined to the upper edge of the bottom plate (106); and a top plate (102) perfectly joined to the other end of the cylindrical corrugated tube (103) and covering it like a lid.
[0009] When the top plate (102) and the bottom plate (106) of the toilet air injector (100) are pulled from both sides, the cylindrical corrugated tube (103) in the center unfolds and becomes longer, and conversely, when the top plate (102) and the bottom plate (106) are pushed from both sides, the cylindrical corrugated tube (103) folds and becomes shorter. The toilet air injector (100) that becomes shorter as the cylindrical corrugated tube (103) is folded has a smaller volume, making it easy to carry and store, and the toilet air injector (100) that becomes longer as the cylindrical corrugated tube (103) is unfolded has a larger volume, allowing it to store a larger amount of air compared to when it is folded inside the corrugated tube (103) between the top plate (102) and the bottom plate (106).
[0010] Preferably, when the top plate (102) and the bottom plate (106) of the toilet air injector (100) are pulled from both sides, the cylindrical corrugated tube (103) in the center unfolds, becomes longer and increases in volume, and stores a larger amount of air between the top plate (102) and the bottom plate (106) than when it is folded inside the corrugated tube (103).
[0011] Preferably, when the cylindrical corrugated tube (103) unfolds, becomes longer, and increases in volume, and the bottom plate (106) of the toilet air injector (100) and the rim (206) of the toilet (200) are shaped to fit a large amount of air, the inside of the toilet bowl (207) is completely sealed together with the air in the corrugated tube (103) of the toilet air injector (100). At this time, as the pressure applied from above increases, the rubber packing (105) on the bottom plate (106) of the toilet air injector (100) seals the rim (206) of the toilet (200) and the bottom plate (106) of the toilet air injector (100) even more perfectly.
[0012] Preferably, the water tank (204) and the cleaning water (205) connection passage, which is one of the openings inside the toilet bowl (207) of the toilet (200), are sealed with a plug (203) and the plug (203) is pressed by the water pressure of the water tank (204), so that the pipe is completely sealed.
[0013] Preferably, the trap ware (208) connected to the waste discharge outlet (210) at the bottom of the toilet (200), which is another opening inside the toilet bowl (207) of the toilet (200), is always sealed by the residue, and if not, the trap ware (208) can be sealed by sending down the cleaning water (205).
[0014] Preferably, when the toilet air injector (100) with the expanded volume and the folded tube (103) is placed on the rim (206) of the toilet (200), the inside of the toilet bowl (207) of the toilet (200) is completely sealed together with the air in the folded tube (103) of the toilet air injector (100) as described above.
[0015] Preferably, by slowly sitting down on the top plate (102) of the toilet air injector (100) as if sitting on a toilet (200), the pressure inside the sealed toilet bowl (207) gradually increases.
[0016] Preferably, the increasing pressure inside the sealed toilet bowl (207) is discharged together with the pressure residue (209) to the trap ware (208) and the toilet outlet (210) at the bottom of the toilet (200) which are sealed with a relatively low pressure critical point residue (209), thereby clearing the clogged toilet.
[0017] According to the present invention, when the toilet air injector (100) whose volume has increased due to the unfolded corrugated tube (103) of the toilet air injector (100) is placed on the rim (206) of the toilet (200) by matching the shape of the bottom plate (106) of the toilet air injector (100), the inside of the toilet bowl (207) is completely sealed together with the air in the corrugated tube (103) of the toilet air injector (100), and when the weight is applied to the top plate (102) to press it, the pressure in the sealed air in the toilet bowl (207) and the corrugated tube (103) gradually increases. The increasing pressure is released together with the residual (209) to the trap ware (208) at the bottom of the toilet (200) and the toilet outlet (210) which are sealed with the residual (209) having a relatively low pressure critical point, thereby clearing the clogged toilet.
[0018] In particular, according to the present invention, a clogged toilet bowl (200) can be unclogged without direct contact with the contents mixed with the residue (209) in the toilet bowl (207), which is hygienic and convenient. In addition, unlike existing tools that could only unclogged a toilet bowl (200) by contacting the contents mixed with the residue (209) in the toilet bowl (207), the tool is simple and easy to clean.
