There is a need for such a workforce to have ready access to consistent, accessible, clearly defined instructions on the scope of work and issues to be addressed at a specific location of work. In order to efficiently provide services, staff included in a dispersed, autonomous workforce should understand the equipment needed for a specific task or area of work and have access to instructions, training, and safety information related to that task or equipment. Further, known solutions for task management of workforces do not identify exact locations of service requirements or service issue requests. Additionally, management of manpower based services may spend significant time preparing quotes for service requests and assigning tasks to staff in accordance with their shifts.Summary
[0002] Example systems and methods are disclosed for location-based task specification and management. The example systems and methods are configured to provide 360 degree facility imaging with an ability for a user to pin (e.g., tag) an issue to a specific location in a space. Additionally, the example systems and methods links equipment and training information to tasks assigned to users. In some examples, the system and methods allow a user to view training information corresponding to assigned tasks. Further, the example systems and methods provide for automated request management and job scope creation.Aspects of the subject matter described herein may be useful alone or in combination with one or more other aspects described herein. Without limiting the foregoing description, in one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method for a mobile computing device having a processor and an interactive interface. The first step of the method may comprise determining a location of the mobile computing device. This may be, for example, by communicating with an external device (e.g. via near-field communication). The location of the mobile communication device may correspond to a zone within a region, the region and the zone being stored within the data structure. The second step of the method may comprise retrieving, from a data structure animage associated with the determined location, one or more image tags, each image tag associated with a position in the image; and one or more tasks associated with the determined location, each task corresponding to an image tag. A third step of the method of this aspect of the invention may comprise displaying the image, with the image tags, to a user of the mobile computing device using the interactive interface.

The system and method include an interactive interface for a user to create, view, and / or modify scheduled or location-based tasks. In examples disclosed herein, a user can create a location-based task by pinning a task to a location in an image corresponding to a location in a zone.

An apparatus comprising: a memory device storing a data structure, wherein the data structure includes a region, wherein the region includes a zone, wherein the zone includes a task and an image tag corresponding to the task within the zone; an interface controller configured to provide an interactive interface for a user, the interactive interface including the task; and a processor in communication with the interface controller and the memory device, wherein the processor in cooperation with the interface controller is configured to: receive, from a first camera, a first image for display within the interactive interface; cause the first image to be displayed in the interactive interface; receive, from the user, a specified coordinate location within the first image, wherein the specified coordinate location within the first image corresponds to an additional image tag; receive, from the user, an additional task corresponding to the additional image tag; store the additional image tag and the additional task within the data structure; and cause the additional task to be displayed in the interactive interface.
2. The apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the data structure further includes training information corresponding to the task.
3. The apparatus of claim 2, wherein the training information includes at least one of a video, a checklist, a flowchart, or an audio file.
4. The apparatus of claim 2, wherein the processor in cooperation with the interface controller is further configured to cause the training information to be displayed in the interactive interface.
5. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the data structure further includes a list of equipment corresponding to the task.
6. The apparatus of claim 5, wherein the processor in cooperation with the interface controller is further configured to cause the list of equipment to be displayed in the interactive interface.
7. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the processor in cooperation with the interface controller is further configured to: receive, from a second camera, a second image for display within the interactive interface, wherein the second image corresponds to the additional task; cause the second image to be displayed in the interactive interface; receive, from the user, an update to the additional task; store the updated additional task within the data structure; and cause the updated additional task to be displayed in the interactive interface.
8. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the specified coordinate location within the first image corresponds to an object within the first image.
9. The apparatus of claim 8, wherein the additional task includes cleaning the object within the first image.
10. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the data structure includes a plurality of tasks within the zone and the processor in cooperation with the interface controller is further configured to cause the interactive interface to display the plurality of tasks.
11. A method comprising: generating, by a server having a processor, an interactive interface, wherein the interactive interface includes a task corresponding to an image tag, the task and the image tag stored in a data structure, the data structure includes a region including a zone, the zone including the task and the image tag; receiving, from a first camera, a first image for display within the interactive interface; causing the first image to be displayed in the interactive interface; receiving, from a user, a specified coordinate within the first image, wherein the specified coordinate location within the first image corresponds to an additional image tag; receiving, from the user, an additional task corresponding to the additional image tag; storing the additional image tag and the additional task within the data structure; and causing the additional task to be displayed in the interactive interface.
12. The method of claim 11, wherein the data structure further includes a training information corresponding to the task within the zone.
13. The method of claim 12, wherein the training information includes at least one of a video, a checklist, a flowchart, or an audio file.
14. The method of claim 12, further comprising causing the training information to be displayed in the interactive interface.
15. The method of claim 11, wherein the data structure further includes a list of equipment corresponding to the task within the zone.
16. The method of claim 15, further comprising causing the list of equipment to be displayed in the interactive interface.
17. The method of claim 16, further comprising: receiving, from a second camera, a second image for display within the interactive interface, wherein the second image corresponds to the additional task; causing the second image to be displayed in the interactive interface; receiving, from the user, an update to the additional task; storing the updated additional task within the data structure; and causing the updated additional task to be displayed in the interactive interface.
18. The method of claim 11, wherein the specified coordinate location within the first image corresponds to an object within the first image.
19. The method of claim 18, wherein the additional task includes cleaning the object within the first image.
20. The method of claim 11, wherein the data structure includes a plurality of tasks within the zone and further comprising causing the interactive interface to display the plurality of tasks.
21. A method for a mobile computing device having a processor and an interactive interface, the method comprising: determining a location of the mobile computing device; retrieving, from a data structure: an image associated with the determined location, one or more image tags, each image tag associated with a position in the image; and one or more tasks associated with the determined location, each task corresponding to an image tag; displaying the image, with the image tags, to a user of the mobile computing device using the interactive interface.
22. The method of claim 21, wherein the location of the mobile device is determined to correspond to a zone within a region, the region and the zone being stored within the data structure.
23. The method of claim 22, wherein the location of the mobile device is determined by communication with an external device located at the zone.
24. The method of claim 22, wherein the location of the mobile device is determined by utilizing a global positioning system (GPS).
25. The method of any one of claims 21 to 24, further comprising receiving an update to the task from the user, and storing the update in the data structure.
26. The method of any one of claims 21 to 25, further comprising receiving, from a user, a specified coordinate within the first image, wherein the specified coordinate location within the first image corresponds to an additional image tag; receiving, from the user, an additional task corresponding to the additional image tag; storing the additional image tag and the additional task within the data structure; and causing the additional task to be displayed in the interactive interface.
27. The method of any one of claims 21 to 26, wherein the task comprises a cleaning task or a maintenance task.
28. The method of any one of claims 21 to 27, wherein the data structure further includes a training information corresponding to the task, and the method comprises displaying the training information to the user in the interactive interface.
29. The method of claim 28, wherein the training information includes at least one of a video, a checklist, a flowchart, or an audio file.
30. The method of any one of claims 21 to 29, wherein the data structure further includes a list of equipment corresponding to the task within the zone, and the method comprises displaying the list of equipment to the user in the interactive interface.
31. An apparatus comprising: a memory; and a processor in communication with the memory configured to perform the method of any one of claims 11 to 30.
