Abstract

The invention relates to a sense-stimulating sound and visual insulation element, designed to provide an effective and healthy experience of insulation from noise and visual stimuli, without the concern that the device may become dislodged during use. Owing to its design, the device remains stable and in place, even with the pressure of the user's head, ensuring continuous relaxation, even in less comfortable environments. In addition, the device structure allows customisable sensory stimulation, it being possible to add bags with natural or artificial aromas, use elements to regulate temperature, listen to music or receive vibration massages, all while the device continues fulfilling its main function of insulation and also contributing to postural hygiene during sleep. Thus, the user can remain in contact with their environment, maximising the benefits of adequate rest.

[0001] SOUND AND VISUAL INSULATOR STIMULATING THE SENSES BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION There are several ways to isolate yourself from the light and sounds that bother or distract you in everyday life, such as, for the visual part, dark glasses and masks and, for the sound part, earplugs among the most common. In addition to earplugs, the most appropriate and healthy way to date to isolate the sense of hearing, that is, to isolate yourself from the noise and sounds of any daily situation in our daily lives, which also gives you a feeling of comfort and naturalness and allows you to obtain the benefits of being able to rest in a space of calm and tranquility, is by placing a pad under your head and with its sides or with two additional pads you cover your ears, thus isolating yourself from the sounds and noises of the place, and even from the light if you cover your eyes.This solution sounds quite feasible, however, if you consider that if you use the above method to isolate yourself from sounds and light, or simply as a sound insulator, it's very easy for your ears to become uncovered, because the ear cushions that cover your ears don't have a strategic and secure hold to prevent them from falling down with any movement. The pressure exerted by your head on the cushions causes them to separate and become dislodged very easily. This same thing even happens if the place where you're trying to isolate yourself and rest is uncomfortable or simply not conducive to maintaining their position, and they end up falling down freely, exposing your ears. The sound and visual insulator proposed by this invention has been designed to solve this problem to your complete satisfaction.That's why a strategic design was developed that combines all these benefits and solves the problem of securing the ear cushions securely, preventing them from flopping freely or becoming dislodged for any reason, while still effectively isolating sounds and noise. All this is thanks to strategically secured seams that hold the cushions together in an ideal manner, but also through closures or even heavy-duty Velcro, among others. This way, the ears always remain inside the cushions and isolated from sounds, as mentioned above, in a healthy and comfortable manner, for as long as required or desired, without the parts that should cover the ears flopping or separating.These strategic seams also provide and solve another additional problem by allowing us to have a space protected by said seams, where accessories can be placed to stimulate the senses such as small wireless speakers, gel bags and similar to cool, refresh or warm the temperature, bags with various aromas, whether natural or artificial aromatic herbs, and neck and head vibrators / massagers, among others. Added to this is the benefit of having an elastic band that can be used to also cover the eyes and is perfectly padded and designed so that it does not move or uncover the eyes involuntarily or accidentally while it is being used, so it also isolates you from light and in general the sense of sight in a very comfortable and unique way since more than an eye mask, it is a kind of eye cushion.All of this together results in ideal insulation for resting, being this, due to its characteristics, very adequate and not excessive, especially in the case of the ear, taking care that it does not cause an extreme isolation effect such as remaining in absolute silence, which happens with some earplugs that exist, and that is not ideal, since hearing is our main alert sense that tells us by ancestral inheritance if we are in a moment of danger or not, and we must be away from annoying sounds and noise but at the same time in contact with our surroundings, in case it is necessary to listen for something for our survival instinct. In times past this could be hearing a dangerous animal approaching and in our times this would be being able to hear a seismic alarm or some warning of danger and be able to react despite being resting.As for the padded elastic band for the eyes, it is worth mentioning that it additionally has two small bags to optionally be able to give cold or heat to each eye with elements that are placed there either by simply using a Tea bag for each eye or other elements. [0002] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION (PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION OR BEST KNOWN METHOD FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION) The present invention relates to a sound and visual insulator that stimulates the senses, designed to provide a controlled sensory experience to the user by reducing external stimuli and integrating elements that promote relaxation, concentration or rest. As shown in Figure 01-A, the device is made up of three interconnected structural pads: a lower central base (2), an upper left side (1) and an upper right side (3). These pads are made of cushioning materials that may include, but are not limited to, natural or synthetic textiles, foams of various densities, gels, latex, bamboo fibers, cotton or combinations thereof.As shown in Figure 01-B, the structure of the device is reinforced by a series of strategic seams (4a, 4b, 5a, 5b, 6a, 6b) that serve a dual function: to maintain the structural stability of the assembly and to limit the sagging or separation of the upper pads (1 and 3) with respect to the lower base (2). In Figure 02-A, it can be seen that the device can incorporate optional elements such as wireless speakers (8), located in the upper side pads (1) and (3). As seen in Figure 03-C, the band (7) incorporates two internal bags (7a, 7b) located at eye level, designed to house accessories that enhance the sensory experience, such as heating pads, eye massagers, hot or cold gel bags, or even herbal infusions for relaxation. Figure 05-A illustrates an internal compartment (9), generated by the strategic seams (5a, 5b, 6a, 6b), which provides a versatile space for storing the device's carrying bag or additional items such as aromatic bags, vibrating massagers or thermal adjustment devices.The device has been designed with a focus on ergonomics and customization, allowing the user to adapt its use according to their sensory needs, whether to reduce external stimuli or to incorporate complementary elements that enhance their experience of rest, relaxation, or concentration.

Claims

MODIFIED CLAIMS received by the International Bureau on August 16, 2025 (16.08.2025) 1. Sound and visual insulator that stimulates the senses, designed to provide comfort, sensory isolation and a feeling of calm to the user during rest, characterized by comprising: • an upper left side section (1 ), adapted to be positioned at the height of the user's left ear; • a lower central base section (2), intended to be positioned below the user's head; • an upper right side section (3), adapted to be placed at the height of the user's right ear; • a pair of joining seams (4a) and (4b), or equivalent functional lines that structurally connect the base section (2) with the side sections (1) and (3); • two pairs of strategic seams (5a), (5b) and (6a), (6b), or equivalent techniques that reinforce the joint and prevent unwanted displacement; • a padded elastic band (7), attached to the assembly, configured to cover the user's eyes and isolate the sense of sight; • a pair of bags (7a) and (7b), arranged on the band (7), configured to optionally accommodate therapeutic elements; • and, optionally, a pair of wireless speakers (8), arranged in the side sections (1) and (3), for reproducing audio content using current or future wireless technologies; where said sections (1), (2) and (3) can be formed by independent elements joined together, or integrated as functionally differentiated parts of a single continuous piece, and where the seams, folds, creases or equivalent techniques maintain the structural alignment and firmness of the assembly, preventing its free folding or involuntary separation during use.

2. The insulator according to claim 1, characterized in that the sections are made of hypoallergenic fabric and filling or any other material that provides comfort, support and adaptability, including known or subsequently developed materials with similar properties.

3. The insulator according to claim 2, characterized in that the filling may comprise natural materials such as bamboo, cotton, gel or any other ecological or sustainable material that provides similar ergonomic and sensory properties.

4. The insulator according to claim 2, characterized in that the filling may comprise synthetic materials such as foam rubber or latex, or other equivalent materials that fulfill the function of providing support, comfort and adaptability to the user.

5. The insulator according to claim 1, characterized in that the seams can be conventional, thread-based, heat-sealed or by other fixing means that keep the sections together in a secure and stable manner.

6. The insulator according to claim 5, characterized in that the seams may also be formed by alternative joining means such as fasteners, high-strength Velcro, magnets, industrial adhesives, clips, moldings, or any other equivalent technical system that allows a firm fixation between the sections.
