Abstract

The present application relates to the technical field of terminals, and provides an interface display method and an electronic device. According to the method, an electronic device runs a standby function in a doze state, and displays a first standby interface. In the doze state, an AP of the electronic device is in an awake state, a frame rate is a first frame rate, and a display brightness is a first brightness. Then, when the amount of time for which the electronic device is in the doze state reaches a first time, if a trigger operation is not received from a user on the electronic device within the first time, it indicates that the user currently might not need to use the standby function, and the electronic device can switch to a doze suspend state, and display a second standby interface. In the doze suspend state, the AP of the electronic device is in a dormant state, the frame rate is a second frame rate, and the display brightness is a second brightness, the second frame rate being lower than the first frame rate, and the second brightness being lower than the first brightness, thereby achieving a reduction in power consumption and ensuring user experience.
