Abstract

The invention relates to a device (100) for stimulating body regions (12) of a user (10), in particular for electrical muscle stimulation training (EMS). The device (100) comprises: an article of clothing (20) made of an elastic textile structure with integrated electrodes (22); and a local control unit (40) for power supply and control. For disturbance-free operation of the device (100), it must be ensured that the control unit (40, 40') is securely connected to the electrodes (22) of the article of clothing (20) during training. For this purpose, the article of clothing (20) is provided with a carrier unit (30, 30') which is electrically connected to the supply lines (24) of the electrodes (22, 22A, 22B) and to which the control unit (40, 40') can be detachably fastened. In order to electrically couple the control unit (40, 40'), the carrier unit (30, 30') comprises contact fields (35, 35') which, in the assembled state of the control unit (40, 40') and the carrier unit (30, 30'), are in electrical contact with contact elements (45, 45') of the control unit (40, 40'). The contact fields (35, 35') are arranged on a contact surface (34, 34') which is convex or concave at least in sections.
