Abstract

Enveloping hermetic, sterile and eco-sustainable, wearable kit, adapted to be heated and cooled to relieve pain resulting from vulvodynia, pudendal neuropathy, abdominal pain, rheumatological pain, varicocele, hydrocele and / or any other pain localized in the abdominal, pelvic and lumbar area of the body comprising: - a central body (10) with a T shape and at least a containment support (20) adaptable to the body; - a central band (1); - two side wings (2); - a rear lower band (3); - two upper lumbar bands (4) reversibly foldable on themselves; said central body (10) having an outer surface and being adapted to assume an open configuration (10.1) allowing the hygienization of the entire outer surface and a closed configuration (10.2) allowing to enclose the totality of said abdominal, pelvic and lumbar areas.

[0004] The present invention operates in the paramedical field and that of devices for mitigating pain. In more detail, the object of this patent application is a kit, provided with a hermetic central body with a "T" shape, sterile and eco-sustainable, heatable and coolable through which to offer support for abdominal, pelvic and lumbar pain.

[0006] The use of hot water bottles for the treatment of pain resulting from dysmenorrhea, pain of a rheumatological nature or caused by various pathologies in limited areas of the body is known in the prior art and has long been consolidated. The induced heat notoriously tends to allow a relaxation of the muscle groups in the affected areas, decreasing the intensity of cramps and releasing an immediate sense of well-being forthose suffering from cramps and localized pain. In this context, technological products have been developed aimed at alleviating such ailments. Among these, the "U"-shaped hot water bottle produced by "Vintoney" allows a heat-therapy of the areas affected by pain and has the dimensions 35.79 x 33.4 x 5.3 cm with a weight of 540 grams. Being made of natural rubber and wool, it allows a "plush" effect for those who use it. Such a product requires the insertion of already heated or cooled water therein. Alternatively, there are numerous electric hot water bottles on the market which therefore allow to change the temperature of the liquids inserted therein.

[0008] - CN109620371A claiming a device for births, specifically for obstetrics and gynecology departments. It is a special obstetric apparatus, provided with five elastic rings fixed to the upper surface of a first side plate connected in turn to a second side plate and equipped with an electric charging port connected to an outer part of the electric hot water bottle;

[0009] - CN110227002A is instead a winter bag, which allows warm compresses for the patient's stoma. It comprises a central body for containing hot water whose central part comprises a through hole and a side provided with a water injection port fixed with a sealing cover;

[0010] - CN111658299A claims a multifunctional hot water bottle of the detachable band type, comprising: a main body of the hot water bag; a pair of removable bands; a power supply connection device; a detachable strap; a removable sanitary bag, in which the main body comprises a protective PVC layer and a suede layer, covered externally by the protective PVC layer. The protective PVC layer forms the body of the bottle and is internally provided with an electric heating wire. The main body is externally provided with a jack connected to the electric heating wire; the four comers of the outer part of the main body of the hot water bottle are provided with buttons; the detachable binding belt is provided with a stitching button paired with the button; two detachable tie straps are respectively connected to the two sides of the main body of the hot water bottle by means of the stitching button.

[0011] From the examination of the solutions applied to date, it is possible to highlight how each of the devices on the market, to date, lacks a form which allows therapy of the pelvic, abdominal and lumbar area at the same time and which, at the same time, allows heating and / or cooling the supports contained therein for the targeted treatment of ailments related to vulvodynia, pudendal neuropathy, abdominal pain, rheumatological pain, varicocele, hydrocele.

[0012] The problems exposed so far can be overcome thanks to the device described in detail below.

[0013] Description of the invention

[0014] According to the present invention, a hermetic kit is created which acts as a hot water bottle, advantageously designed with a "T" shape which allows it to envelop the pelvic, abdominal and lumbar areas of users suffering from ailments and pain deriving from vulvodynia, pudendal neuropathy, abdominal pain, rheumatological pain, varicocele, hydrocele or any other pain treatable with localized heat or cold.

[0015] Such a kit comprises a central body designed to be inserted into a wearable containment support. The aforesaid central body advantageously comprises a plurality of ends, among which a central band, at least two side wings, at least a rear lower band and at least two upper lumbar bands. The central body is thus reversibly foldable on itself, starting from the initial "T" shape, thanks to its soft consistency which can be molded onto the anatomical areas to which it is applied.

[0016] Its inner surface is alternatively designed to:

[0019] In the first version provided with plug valves for filling, the kit optionally and advantageously includes at least a syringe, having a graduated scale adapted to show the fill level, for filling each end with a predetermined amount of liquid.

[0020] In the second version, the aforesaid support is provided with a timer and temperature selector, even remotely by means of a controller or any mobile electronic device.

[0021] The central body includes the possibility of assuming, reversibly, an open configuration and a closed configuration. Once the aforesaid open configuration has been reached, it can be easily hygienized on the entire outer surface.

[0025] Also possibly, in an advantageous version, a protective support is included, reversibly couplable to the aforesaid central body, configured to protect the inner surface of the users' legs from potential burns, generated by continued contact with the central body once heated.

[0026] The containment support of the central body, in a preferred version, includes at least six pockets to contain each of the ends of said central body. The aforesaid support is made in the following variants:

[0030] - wearable high-waisted underpants with side closure and adjustment system (such as a zipper, Velcro strips or elastics) to adapt the object to the body or any other closure system adaptable to the wearer's body;

[0031] - lastly, the support can be made like any common item of clothing and provided with pockets to integrate a plurality of heatable or coolable plates.

[0032] The advantageous underpants configuration also includes a shell for protecting the pelvic area in male users, which can be heated or cooled, for the treatment of male pathologies such as, by way of example, hydrocele and varicocele - with adjustable temperatures.

[0033] The above-mentioned four ends are possibly separated and divided into at least four parts. Another advantage of the kit is that it includes a plurality of extensions to extend the heating surface of the central body: they are made in a shape and size similar to or equal to the aforesaid ends.

[0034] The kit is configured to be made in a variety of sizes for use by users with any build, gender and age.

[0043] The present invention will now be illustrated by way of a purely non-limiting or binding example, resorting to the figures which illustrate some embodiments related to the present inventive concept.

[0044] As shown in Fig. 1, the hermetic kit in question is structured in a peculiar "T" shape and is designed in soft material which allows to envelop the surfaces of the body affected by pain. The aforesaid heatable and / or coolable central body 10 is inserted inside a containment support 20 included in a variety of configurations, including the creation in the form of a belt, leotard 30 (shown in Fig. 4), gilet, wearable tank top and in the shape of high-waisted underpants 20 comprising a shell to protect the pelvic area in male users. The aforesaid support is also made in the form of a clothing line, provided with a plurality of pockets which integrate a plurality of heatable or coolable plates.

[0046] - an outer surface which comes into contact with the surrounding environment and the user who uses it;

[0054] Always as shown in Fig. 1 and 2, the kit is designed to reversibly assume:

[0055] - an open configuration 10.1 in which the entire aforesaid outer surface can be hygienized and filled with pre-heated liquid or liquid to be heated in the version comprising the aforesaid plug valve 50 for filling;

[0056] - a closed configuration 10.2 to envelop the entire abdominal, pelvic and lumbar areas affected by pain.

[0057] In the first version, the liquid is inserted inside the central body 10 through a plug valve 50 for filling which is provided with an anti-particle filter, which by filtering bacteria and microorganisms, keeps the aforesaid inner surface intact for a long time.

[0058] The aforesaid closed configuration 10.2 is maintained by means of the aforesaid ends 1, 2, 3, 4 alternatively joined together or fixable by means of a plurality of automatic buttons or magnetic clips, specifically distributed on the aforesaid ends.

[0059] On the central band 1, a protective support is reversibly installed to isolate the inner surface of the users' legs, which avoids bums generated by continuous contact with the heated or cooled outer surface of the central body.

[0060] In Fig. 3, note the aforesaid containment support in a wearable underpants 20 configuration. In such a configuration 20, if necessary, a shell can possibly be positioned to protect the pelvic area for male users.

Claims

Claims1) Kit for mitigating pain in the abdominal, pelvic and lumbar area characterized in that it comprises:- a central body (10) with a T shape, reversibly foldable on itself and having a soft or only partially rigid texture / consistency, and- at least a containment support (20) of said central body (10), anatomically adapting itself to a user’s body to permit localized pains to be alleviated; wherein said central body (10) comprises at least five portions, including at least a central band (1), at least two side wings (2), at least a rear lower band (3) and at least two upper lumbar bands (4) reversibly foldable on themselves; wherein said central body (10) has an outer surface; wherein said central body (10) is apt to reversibly assume an open configuration (10.1) or a closed configuration (10.2); wherein said open configuration(10.1) permits hygienization of the entire outer surface, and said closed configuration(10.2) permits to enclose / envelope the totality of said abdominal, pelvic and lumbar areas; and said central body (10) being resistant to solvents and high temperatures.2) Kit for mitigating pain in the abdominal, pelvic and lumbar area, according to claim 1, characterized in that each of said portions (1, 2, 3, 4) of the central body (10) comprises an inner surface that can be filled with a predetermined amount of hot or heatable liquid, or else cold or coolable liquid, and has a plug valve (50) for liquids, provided with a particle retention filter configured to filter bacteria and microorganisms so as to keep the inner surface intact for a long time;
