Abstract

Example embodiments of the present disclosure provide solutions for UL repetitions with multiple TRPs in sub-band non-overlapping full duplex (SBFD). In an example method, a terminal device receives a higher layer parameter indicating a mapping of TRPs to UL repetitions across SBFD symbols and non-SBFD symbols, wherein each TRP is associated with an SRS resource set. The terminal device determines, for each UL repetition, one of the TRPs based on the higher layer parameter. The terminal device performs the UL transmission with the UL repetitions across SBFD symbols and non-SBFD symbols, wherein each UL repetition is transmitted towards the determined TRP. In this way, separate power control and / or spatial relation for UL repetitions in SBFD symbols and UL repetitions in non-SBFD symbols in m-TRP scenario is achieved.

or any other protocols either currently known or to be developed in the future. Embodiments of the present disclosure may be applied in various communication systems. Given the rapid development in communications, there will of course also be future type communication technologies and systems with which the present disclosure may be embodied. It should not be seen as limiting the scope of the present disclosure to only the aforementioned system.As used herein, the term “network device” refers to a node in a communication network via which a terminal device accesses the network and receives services therefrom. The network device may refer to a base station (BS) or an access point (AP) or a transmission and reception point (TRP) , for example, a node B (NodeB or NB) , an evolved NodeB (eNodeB or eNB) , a NR NB (also referred to as a gNB) , a remote radio unit (RRU) , a radio header (RH) , a remote radio head (RRH) , a WiFi device, a relay, a low power node such as a femto, a pico, and so forth, depending on the applied terminology and technology. In the following description, the terms “network device” , “AP device” , “AP” and “access point” may be used interchangeably.The term “terminal device” refers to any end device that may be capable of wireless communication. By way of example rather than limitation, a terminal device may also be referred to as a communication device, user equipment (UE) , a Subscriber Station (SS) , a Portable Subscriber Station, a Mobile Station (MS) , a station (STA) or station device, or an Access Terminal (AT) . The terminal device may include, but not limited to, a mobile phone, a cellular phone, a smart phone, voice over IP (VoIP) phones, wireless local loop phones, a tablet, a wearable terminal device, a personal digital assistant (PDA) , portable computers, desktop computer, image capture terminal devices such as digital cameras, gaming terminal devices, music storage and playback appliances, vehicle-mounted wireless terminal devices, wireless endpoints, mobile stations, laptop-embedded equipment (LEE) , laptop-mounted equipment (LME) , USB dongles, smart devices, wireless customer-premises equipment (CPE) , an Internet of Things (IoT) device, a watch or other wearable, a head-mounted display (HMD) , a vehicle, a drone, a medical device and applications (for example, remote surgery) , an industrial device and applications (for example, a robot and / or other wireless devices operating in an industrial and / or an automated processing chain contexts) , a consumer electronics device, a device operating on commercial and / or industrial wireless networks, and the like. In the following description, the terms “station” , “station device” , “STA” , “terminal device” , “communication device” , “terminal” , “user equipment” and “UE” may be used interchangeably.As used herein, the term “TRP” refers to a transmission-reception point having an antenna array (with one or more antenna elements) at the network side located at a specific geographical location, which may be used for transmitting and receiving signals to / from the terminal device. In embodiment of the present disclosure, a TRP may refer to Macro Cell, micro cell, an RRH, a relay, a femto node, a pico node, etc. Although some embodiments of the present disclosure are described with reference to two TRPs for example, these embodiments are only for the purpose of illustration and help those skilled in the art to understand and implement the present disclosure, without suggesting any limitations as to the scope of the present disclosure. It is to be understood that the present disclosure described herein can be implemented in various manners other than the ones described below.For illustrative purposes, principle and example embodiments of the present disclosure will be described below with reference to FIG. 1 to FIG. 10. However, it is to be noted that these embodiments are given to enable the skilled in the art to understand inventive concepts of the present disclosure and implement the solution as proposed herein, and not intended to limit scope of the present application in any way.FIG. 1 illustrates an example of a communication network 100 in which some example embodiments of the present disclosure may be implemented. As illustrated in FIG. 1, the communication network 100 includes a terminal device (which may also be referred to as user equipment or UE) 110 and a network device (which may also be referred to as a gNB or BS) including multiple TPRs, such as TRP 120-1 and 120-2; herein the network device could be referred as the network device 120. Although one terminal device 110 and two TRPs 120-1 and 120-2 are shown in FIG. 1, the numbers of the TRPs and the terminal device are not limited. In other words, there may be more than two TRPs and more terminal devices 110 in the network.The network device 120 can provide services to the terminal device 110, and the network device 120 and the terminal device 110 may communicate data and control information with each other. In some embodiments, the network device 120 and the terminal device 110 may communicate with direct links / channels.In the communication system 100, a link from the network device 120 to the terminal device 110 is referred to as a downlink (DL) , while a link from the terminal device 110 to the network device 120 is referred to as an uplink (UL) . In downlink, the network device 120 are transmitting (TX) devices (or transmitters) and the terminal device 110 is a receiving (RX) device (or a receiver) . In uplink, the terminal device 110 is a transmitting (TX) device (or a transmitter) and the network device 120 are RX devices (or receivers) . It is to be understood that the network device 120 may provide one or more serving cells. As illustrated in Fig. 1, the network device 120 together provide a serving cell 102, and the terminal device 110 camps on the serving cell 102. In some embodiments, the network device 120 can provide multiple serving cells and the terminal device 120 may switch from a source cell to a target cell between the serving cells during its mobility. It is to be understood that the number of serving cell (s) shown in FIG. 1 is for illustrative purposes without suggesting any limitation.Communications in the network environment 100 may be implemented according to any proper communication protocol (s) , comprising, but not limited to, cellular communication protocols of the fourth generation (4G) and the fifth generation (5G) and on the like, wireless local network communication protocols such as Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) 802.11 and the like, and / or any other protocols currently known or to be developed in the future. Moreover, the communication may utilize any proper wireless communication technology, comprising but not limited to: Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) , Frequency Division Multiple Access (FDMA) , Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) , Frequency Division Duplex (FDD) , Time Division Duplex (TDD) , Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) , Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple (OFDM) , Discrete Fourier Transform spread OFDM (DFT-s-OFDM) and / or any other technologies currently known or to be developed in the future.It is to be understood that the number of devices and their connection relationships and types shown in FIG. 1 are for illustrative purposes without suggesting any limitation. The communication system 100 may comprise any suitable number of devices adapted for implementing embodiments of the present disclosure.3GPP 5G NR currently supports two duplexing modes: frequency division duplexing (FDD) for paired bands and time division duplexing (TDD) for unpaired bands. Irrespective of the duplexing mode, uplink and downlink phases are separated in time domain. This may create unnecessary latency, possibly reduce coverage and capacity depending on the considered layout. In TDD deployments, the situation is further exacerbated by the fact that the scheduling offers lower dynamism, i.e., the slot structure is fixed and does not change very often in practice. This may result in rather limited time duration for the uplink in TDD.Motivated by this, 3GPP has done a study item on the evolution of duplexing operation in NR that addresses the challenges above. One of the objectives is to allow the gNB to do simultaneous DL transmission and UL reception on different physical resource blocks (PRBs)  / sub-bands within an unpaired wideband NR cell. In this disclosure, this is referred as sub-band non-overlapping full duplex (SBFD) . This duplexing scheme may be also referred to as cross-division duplexing (xDD) scheme or flexible duplexing (FDU) in other sources.FIG. 2A illustrates an example of SBFD and non-SBFD slots. From the above description of SBFD operation, it can be observed that there are two slot types for both DL and UL transmissions as shown in FIG. 2A, namely:● SBFD slots, during which the non-overlapping DL subbands and UL subband (s) both exist, and● Non-SBFD slots, during which the entire band is used for either DL or UL (i.e., legacy / full DL / UL slots) .In SBFD slots, a guardband is expected to be placed between DL and UL resource blocks (RBs) . This provides better isolation between UL and DL transmissions and is expected to be essential for reducing the impact of the self-interference (due to gNB’s own DL transmissions and the gNB’s own UL reception) as well as cross-link interference (CLI) between UE to UE links, and gNB to gNB links.FIG. 2B illustrates co-channel cross-link interference types in SBFD deployment. As illustrated in FIG. 2B, SBFD introduces new types of CLI, namely co-channel inter-subband CLI from non-overlapping frequency resources. This interference can be better classified depending on the source of the interference as:1. gNB self-interference.2. intra-cell UE-to-UE co-channel inter-subband CLI.3. inter-cell UE-to-UE co-channel inter-subband CLI.4. gNB-to-gNB co-channel inter-subband CLI.Besides these new CLI types, in case of different frequency domain partitioning in neighbor cells, the system may also suffer from co-channel intra-subband CLI, i.e. CLI from transmissions on overlapping frequency resources:5. gNB-to-gNB inter-cell co-channel intra-subband CLI.6. UE-to-UE inter-cell co-channel intra-subband CLI.Rel-17 introduces a feature for multiple transmission / reception points (m-TRP) that allows a UE to transmit different uplink repetitions (PUCCH or PUSCH repetitions) towards different TRPs. This is supported by configuring two sounding reference signal (SRS) resource sets, where two SRS resource sets correspond to two TRPs, and repetitions towards each TRP follow the SRS resource set associated with that TRP.The following excerpt of Section 6.1.2.1 of TS 38.214 shows how to map the m-TRPs to each PUSCH repetitions.It can be observed from the above excerpt that, when two SRS resource sets are configured, i.e., two TRPs are used, the SRS resource set indicator field in DCI format 0_1 or 0_2 will indicate a 2-bit codepoint which indicates the mapping of TRPs to PUSCH repetitions as follows. For better understanding, refer to FIG. 3 which illustrates examples of TRP to PUSCH repetitions mapping in case K = 8 repetitions in consecutive full UL slots.● “00” means all repetitions are mapped to the first TRP (first SRS resource set) .● “01” means all repetitions are mapped to the second TRP (second SRS resource set) .● “10” means the first and second TRPs are alternatively mapped, where the first repetition is mapped to the first TRP. In addition, UE is configured with an additional RRC parameter to define the mapping pattern in case the number of repetitions K > 2.○ K = 2: The first repetition is mapped to the first TRP, the second repetition is mapped to the second TRP.○ K> 2:■ If “cyclicMapping” is enabled / configured in PUSCH-Config,● the first repetition is mapped to the first TRP,● the second repetition is mapped to the second TRP,● the pattern is repeated, as shown in FIG. 3a.■ If “sequentialMapping” is enabled / configured in PUSCH-Config,● the first and second repetitions are mapped to the first TRP,● the third and fourth repetitions are mapped to the second TRP,● the pattern is repeated, as shown in FIG. 3b.● “11” means the first and second TRPs are alternatively mapped, where the first repetition is mapped to the second TRP. In addition, UE is configured with an additional RRC parameter to define the mapping pattern in case the number of repetitions K > 2.○ K = 2: The first repetition is mapped to the second TRP, the second repetition is mapped to the first TRP.○ K> 2:■ If “cyclicMapping” is enabled / configured in PUSCH-Config,● the first repetition is mapped to the second TRP,● the second repetition is mapped to the first TRP,● the pattern is repeated, as shown in FIG. 3c.■ If “sequentialMapping” is enabled / configured in PUSCH-Config,● the first and second repetitions are mapped to the second TRP,● the third and fourth repetitions are mapped to the first TRP,● the pattern is repeated, as shown in FIG. 3d.It was agreed by 3GPP to study the feasibility and enhancements to support separate power control and / or spatial relation for SRS, PUCCH and PUSCH in SBFD and non-SBFD symbols in different slots, including repetition and non-repetition, by considering existing schemes, e.g. multi-TRP PUCCH / PUSCH repetition schemes. Considering the existing multi-TRP PUCCH / PUSCH repetitions, the following observations can be noted:● Currently, power control configuration and spatial relation can be different for different TRPs. Therefore, in m-TRP scenario, one way to achieve separate power control and / or spatial relation for PUCCH / PUSCH repetitions in SBFD symbols and PUCCH / PUSCH repetitions in non-SBFD symbols, is to map these repetitions to different TRPs. This is not supported in current specifications (as they lack support for SBFD operation in general) .● UL transmissions in SBFD symbols may cause UE-to-UE CLI. For transmitting UL transmissions to different TRPs, it’s safe to assume that UE will use different spatial filters for each TRP and therefore the generated UE-to-UE CLI can be completely different. In other words, to cope with UE-to-UE CLI, UL transmission to one TRP may be more preferable than another TRP in the SBFD symbols. Similar thinking can be applied to the CLI conditions in each TRP. It can be beneficial to avoid PUSCH reception in SBFD symbols for one TRP given its CLI levels (self-interference, inter-sector CLI, gNB-to-gNB CLI) .From the above observations, means for UE to determine which TRP to be used for UL repetitions in SBFD symbols and non-SBFD symbols should be defined. As shown above, the existing TRPs-to-UL-repetition mapping cannot solve the issue. In 3GPP specifications, the wording “TRP” is referred to as “SRS resource set” . Therefore, mapping a UL transmission / repetition to a TRP is equivalent to mapping it to an SRS resource set. Herein TRP is used for the sake of brevity.In a nutshell, embodiments of the disclosure provide solutions for UE to determine which TRP (s) to be mapped for UL repetitions in SBFD symbols and which TRP (s) to be mapped for UL repetitions in non-SBFD symbols. In some aspects, NW indicates and UE determines that a new TRP-to-UL-repetition mapping rule is to be applied for UL repetitions when the UE operates in SBFD mode. For example, UE may be configured with a higher-layer SBFD mapping parameter (e.g., “SBFDMapping” ) in addition to or alternative to optional mapping pattern parameters (e.g. “cyclicMapping” and “sequentialMapping” ) . Based on the combination of the SBFD mapping parameter and mapping pattern parameters (if configured) , the UE may map a preferred TRP to each UL repetition in SBFD symbols or in non-SBFD symbols.FIG. 4 illustrates an example of a process flow in accordance with some example embodiments of the present disclosure. For ease of understanding, the process flow 400 will be described with reference to FIG. 1. It would be appreciated that although the process flow 400 has been described referring to the communication network 100 of FIG. 1, this process flow 400 may be likewise applied to other similar communication scenarios.At 401, a network device 420 transmits higher layer parameter (s) 403 indicating a mapping of TRPs to UL repetitions to a terminal device 410. The higher layer parameter (s) 403 may include a new higher layer SBFD mapping parameter (e.g., “SBFDMapping” ) indicating a new mapping of TRPs to UL repetitions. In some embodiments, the higher layer parameter (s) may further include one or more optional mapping pattern parameters. Each mapping pattern parameter may indicate a cyclic pattern (e.g. “cyclicMapping” ) or a sequential pattern (e.g., “sequentialMapping” ) of the TRPs across UL repetitions in SBFD symbols or across UL repetitions in non-SBFD symbols. In addition, the network device 420 may configure the terminal device 410 with information about SBFD resources and at least two SRS resource sets which are associated with the TRPs respectively.At 404, the network device 420 schedules a UL transmission with repetitions across SBFD symbols and non SBFD symbols. In some embodiments, the network device 420 may transmit a scheduling DCI for the UL transmission including UL repetitions across in SBFD symbols and non-SFBD symbols (which may be respectively referred as a first set of UL repetitions in SBFD symbols and a second set of UL repetitions in non-SBFD symbols) .The scheduling DCI may be, for example, DCI format 0_1 or DCI format 0_2, and may include an SRS resource set indicator field. The SRS resource set indicator field may indicate a two-bit codepoint of “00” , “01” , “10” or “11. ” The scheduling DCI may further include at least one dedicated field indicative of the mapping of a TRP to the first one or more UL repetition in SBFD symbols and / or the first one or more UL repetition in non-SFBD symbols. In some embodiments, the information in the scheduling DCI could be used in combination with the configured higher layer parameter (s) 403 to determine the mapping of TRPs to the UL repetitions in SBFD symbols and the UL repetitions in non-SFBD symbols.At 405, the terminal device 410 determines, for each UL repetition of the first set in SBFD symbols and for each UL repetition of the second set in non-SBFD symbols, one of the TRPs that is mapped to the UL repetition based on the higher layer parameter (s) . In some embodiments, the terminal device 410 may determine whether the new mapping of TRPs to UL transmissions is to be applied by determining whether the new higher layer parameter (e.g., the SBFD mapping parameter) is configured and set enabled. If the new mapping is to be applied, UE determines the TRP to be mapped to all UL repetitions in SBFD symbols and the TRP to be mapped to each UL repetitions in non-SBFD symbols as follows. If the new mapping is not applied, the terminal device 410 may determine the TRP (s) to be mapped to all UL repetitions regardless of SBFD or non-SBFD symbols.In some embodiments, regarding the first set of UL repetition in SBFD symbols, the terminal device 410 may determine the TRP to be used for UL repetitions in SBFD symbols using the codepoint provided by the ‘SRS resource set indicator field in the scheduling DCI. For example, if the codepoint is “10” , the first TRP is used for UL repetitions in SBFD symbols. If the codepoint is “11” , the second TRP is used for UL repetitions in SBFD symbols. If the codepoints is “00” or “01” , all repetitions in the first set in SBFD symbols use the first or the second TRP, respectively.Alternatively, the determined TRP may be not mapped to all UL repetitions in SBFD symbols but to a (majority) portion of them, e.g., a ratio may be configured for determining the number of UL repetitions in SBFD symbols to be mapped to the determined TRP, while the rest of UL repetitions in SBFD symbols are mapped to different TRP (s) other than the determined one. For example, if the ratio is 3 / 4, and there are 4 UL repetitions in SBFD symbols, then the first 3 repetitions are mapped to the determined TRP and the last repetition is mapped to the other TRP. Such pattern may be repeated for the next 4 repetitions. Alternatively, the ratio is indicated in form of a mapping rule using a new higher layer parameter, e.g., “unbalancedCyclicMapping” . The ratio parameter may also be applied to the UL repetitions in non-SBFD symbols.In some embodiments, the mapping pattern is configured by NW, e.g., using a bitmap that can be repeated. For example, the bitmap is

[1011] , indicating that for every 4 repetitions in SBFD symbols, then the first, third and fourth repetitions are mapped to the determined TRP, while the rest are mapped to the other TRP. The pattern is repeated for the next 4 repetitions. In some embodiments, the bitmap parameter may also be applied to the UL repetitions in non-SBFD symbols.In some embodiments, the terminal device 410 may determine the TRP to be used for UL repetitions in non-SBFD symbols based on whether the higher-layer SBFD mapping parameter “SBFDMapping” is configured together with or alternative to the mapping pattern “cyclicMapping” and “sequentialMapping” parameters. For example, if only “SBFDMapping” is configured, all UL repetitions in non-SBFD symbols are mapped to the TRP that is not mapped to the UL repetitions in SBFD symbols.FIG. 5 illustrates examples of TRP to UL repetitions mapping in case K = 8 repetitions in accordance with some embodiments of the present disclosure. FIG. 5a shows that all UL repetitions in non-SBFD (UL) symbols are mapped to the second TRP given that the codepoint “10” indicates that the repetitions in SBFD symbols are mapped to the first TRP and only parameter “SBFDMapping” is configured. FIG. 5d shows that all UL repetitions in non-SBFD (UL) symbols are mapped to the first TRP given that the codepoint “11” indicates that the repetitions in SBFD symbols are mapped to the second TRP and only parameter “SBFDMapping” is configured.In some embodiments, if both “SBFDMapping” and “cyclicMapping” are configured, the UL repetitions in non-SBFD symbols are cyclically mapped across the first and second TRP. FIG. 5b shows that the first UL repetition in non-SBFD (UL) symbols is mapped to the first TRP given that the codepoint is “10” . The second UL repetition in non-SBFD (UL) symbols is mapped to the second TRP. The pattern is repeated considering only the UL repetitions in non-SBFD symbols. FIG. 5e shows that the first UL repetition in non-SBFD (UL) symbols is mapped to the second TRP given that the codepoint is “11” . The second UL repetition in non-SBFD (UL) symbols is mapped to the first TRP. The pattern is repeated considering only the UL repetitions in non-SBFD symbols. Alternatively, the TRP to be mapped to the first UL repetition in non-SBFD (UL) symbols is separately indicated, e.g., using an independent or dedicated bit in DCI, instead of reusing the codepoint.In some embodiments, if both “SBFDMapping” and “sequentialMapping” are configured, the UL repetitions in non-SBFD symbols are sequentially mapped across the first and second TRP. FIG. 5c shows that the first and second UL repetitions in non-SBFD (UL) symbols are mapped to the first TRP given that the codepoint is “10” . The third and fourth UL repetitions in non-SBFD (UL) symbols are mapped to the second TRP. The pattern is repeated considering only the UL repetitions in non-SBFD symbols. FIG. 5f shows that the first and second UL repetitions in non-SBFD (UL) symbols are mapped to the second TRP given that the codepoint is “11” . The third and fourth UL repetitions in non-SBFD (UL) symbols are mapped to the first TRP. The pattern is repeated considering only the UL repetitions in non-SBFD symbols. Alternatively, the TRP to be mapped to the first and second UL repetition in non-SBFD (UL) symbols is separately indicated, e.g., using an independent or dedicated bit in DCI, instead of reusing the codepoint.In some embodiments, the mapping of the TRP (s) to the UL repetitions of the first set in SBFD symbols and the mapping of the TRP (s) to the UL repetitions of the second set in non-SBFD symbols may be determined separately based on the corresponding mapping pattern parameter. The terminal device 410 may be configure with a first mapping pattern parameter for the UL repetition in SBFD symbols and a second mapping pattern parameter for the UL repetition in non-SBFD symbols.FIG. 6 illustrates further examples of TRP to UL repetitions mapping in case K = 8 repetitions in accordance with some embodiments of the present disclosure.If “SBFDMapping” and a first mapping parameter of “cyclicMapping” are configured, the UL repetitions in SBFD symbols are cyclically mapped across the first and second TRP. FIG. 6b shows that the first UL repetition in SBFD (UL) symbols is mapped to the first TRP given that the codepoint is “10” . The second UL repetition in SBFD (UL) symbols is mapped to the second TRP. The pattern is repeated considering only the UL repetitions in SBFD symbols. FIG. 6e shows that the first UL repetition in SBFD (UL) symbols is mapped to the second TRP given that the codepoint is “11” . The second UL repetition in SBFD (UL) symbols is mapped to the first TRP. The pattern is repeated considering only the UL repetitions in SBFD symbols.If “SBFDMapping” and a first mapping parameter of “sequentialMapping” are configured, the UL repetitions in SBFD symbols are sequentially mapped across the first and second TRP. FIG. 6c shows that the first and second UL repetitions in SBFD (UL) symbols are mapped to the first TRP given that the codepoint is “10” . The third UL repetition in SBFD (UL) symbols is mapped to the second TRP. The pattern is repeated considering only the UL repetitions in SBFD symbols. FIG. 6f shows that the first and second UL repetitions in SBFD (UL) symbols are mapped to the second TRP given that the codepoint is “11” . The third UL repetition in non-SBFD (UL) symbols is mapped to the first TRP. The pattern is repeated considering only the UL repetitions in SBFD symbols.If “SBFDMapping” and a second mapping parameter ( “sequentialMapping” or “cyclicMapping” ) are configured, the mapping of TRP (s) to the UL repetition in non-SBFD symbols is same as shown in FIG (s) . 5b, 5c, 5e, and 5f. The different between FIG. 5 and FIG. 6 is that, in FIG. 5 the mapping pattern parameter ( “sequentialMapping” or “cyclicMapping” ) is only applied to UL repetitions in non-SBFD symbols, while in FIG. 6 the mapping pattern parameter is applied to both of UL repetitions in symbols and UL repetitions in non-symbols separately.Note that there is only one configured mapping pattern parameter, it may be applied to only UL repetitions in non-SBFD symbols, or alternatively, to both UL repetitions in SBFD symbols and UL repetitions in non-SBFD symbols, but separately. If there are two configured (different) mapping pattern parameters, they are separately applied to both UL repetitions in SBFD symbols and UL repetitions in non-SBFD symbols.Alternatively, the TRP to be mapped to the first and second UL repetition in non-SBFD (UL) symbols may be separately indicated, e.g., using an independent or dedicated bit in DCI, instead of reusing the codepoint. In some embodiments, the terminal device 410 may determine, using a dedicated field (e.g., one bit) in the scheduling DCI, a TRP that is mapped to the first one or more UL repetitions in SBFD symbols, or to the first one or more UL repetitions in non-SBFD symbols. In some embodiments, the scheduling DCI may carry two dedicated fields for UL repetitions in SBFD symbols and for UL repetitions in non-SBFD symbols, respectively.Referring back to FIG. 4, at 406, the terminal device 410 transmits UL transmission 408 with the UL repetitions across SBFD symbols and non-SBFD symbols to the network device, wherein each UL repetition is transmitted towards the TRP as determined at 405. At 407, the network device 420 receives the UL transmissions 408.Throughout the description, when a parameter is referred to as “configured” , it also means that the parameter is configured and set to enabled or that the parameter is enabled.In view of above, embodiments of the disclosure provide solutions for indicating or determining which TRP is preferred by NW for receiving UL repetitions in SBFD symbols. In this regard, the advantage is, firstly, it naturally supports separate power control and / or spatial relation for UL repetitions in SBFD symbols and UL repetitions in non-SBFD symbols in m-TRP scenario without extra efforts e.g., for introducing new power control loop etc. Secondly, it helps reducing UE-to-UE CLI by instructing UE to use the preferred TRP for UL repetitions in SBFD symbols.It is also advantageous that the existing SRS resource set indicator field is leveraged and reinterpreted and only one new higher layer parameter (e.g., “SBFDMapping” ) is introduced for determining whether UL repetitions are to be mapped separately for SBFD and non-SBFD symbols or not, and what are the corresponding mapping rules. As a result, the solutions are friendly to 3GPP specification (i.e., requires less specification efforts) and backward compatible.FIG. 7 illustrates a flowchart of an example method 700 implemented at a terminal device in accordance with some other embodiments of the present disclosure. For ease of understanding, the method 700 will be described from the perspective of the terminal device 110 with reference to FIG. 1.At block 710, the terminal device 110 receives, from a network device 120, at least one higher layer parameter indicating a mapping of at least two transmission
